Stay was good although the remote to the TV did not work. I was a little disappointed that they did not offer at least a continental breakfast and the coffe in the lobby was taken away by 9:00am.

The stay was very pleasant. However one room I had , had air conditioning issues and the room was hot . Aside from that, the staff was very eager to please and especially prompt when I asked for extra towels...they came quickly and were warm too. (the towels were warm that is).

The room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rate was good. My children loved the pool. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at the hotel in the near future. I would definately recommend other friends and family to stay here.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I'm not sure if we would choose this hotel again though. For the price we paid for the room, and then adding on the $80/day we had to pay for a shuttle service, we could have stayed closer to to the city within walking distance to the sights. We were also discouraged about the limited times to access the shuttle.

Shuttle to Manhattan Hilton was very convenient

Great plush hotel with an indoor pool for those days when you want to stay in or the weather is not great. The restaurants are good and the prices are in range with the hotel quality. They also give you a warm cookie when you check in. I will stay there again.

Cannot beat price and convenience for visiting NYC.

Good to have a small ref. to put some drinks and products.

Service in the restaurant is horrible. Food below average.

We had a great stay, food was good, kids loved the pool and the beds where very comfortable after a long day of walking NYC.

I have never stayed in a hotel where you have to pay extra to have a microwave.

I stayed here once before and the service is extraordinary. The staff (everyone from management to security) and even the staff of the restaurant that is located inside the hotel deliver an exceptional customer service experience. The location is great. Near NYC and the neighborhood in NJ is very quiet. I wil definitely be staying here again.

This is my second time staying at the Double Tree in Fort Lee. The hotel has an indoor heated pool and hot tub, which is why I chose this hotel over others that are nearby. I have ordered room service both times and the food was really good. I have three year old who loved the pool - and the kitchen was really great in accommodating his special request for Mac and Cheese that was not on the menu. I will be going back.

Put out breakfast order on the door by 11:00PM but not being taken at all. Everything else was just fine.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The people are very friendly and the hotel was very clean. I read old reviews about this hotel and was a little skeptical but I didn't have a problem at all.

came here for a mini r &r. The beds were beautifully made and the abundance of comfy feather pillows and cushy mattress topper made the rest part easy and the clean, conveniently late and early pool and hot tub open times took care of the relaxation. Staff was courteous, if a little confused at times (can we use the pool after checkout? 2 yes, one no. they finally got it right. Yes.)

We chose to stay at the hotel because it had high ratings, however when we arrived we were very disappointed. First of all this was no regular Hilton. Actually could not be farther from the expectations of a regular Hilton. The room smelled of mold. There were dirty room service trays lining the hallway. The bar/restaurant had the worst service possible. Believe it or not we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. It took over 20 min to refill our drinks!!!! Spoke with management about it and they corrected however could not believe the overall poor service of the staff. Will not stay at again!

A great hotel, we would stay there again, not hard to find or get into New York, they have a great shuttle service. The hotel staff very helpful. The only down side is, if you want to go for a walk, there is really nowhere to go, so use the pool.

I only stay at Hilton chain hotels and usually Double Tree Hotels. This hotel was nice. The service was great, but the location is precarious and costly if you are traveling into the city more than once during your trip. Don't get me wrong, the $10 shuttle service to the Hilton in Midtown is great, but frankly the hours aren't fabulous if you want to fully experience the city that never sleeps. And a cab could run you $40 minimun and that price requires you catching a cab uptown at 17th St. near the 'A' train. Again, if you have any familiarity with New York City it's not the worst thing in the world, but for the same price you can stay in another Double Tree elsewhere i.e. Chelsea or Midtown EAST. Keep in mind, however, those hotels are HALF the size of the DT in Fort Lee. So ultimately, the choice comes down to proximity or room size. But overall it was a nice stay with great staff.

We were greated with warm cookies and had one of the best experiences at a hotel we ever had. Everyone was perfect and in good spirits and the manager Ron went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

Clean, convenient, affordable. Very pleasant staff. Would stay here again for sure.

The staff was amazing and extremely friendly everyone was nice and eager to assist us with anything we needed. Other than a lack of a free continental breakfast the hotel was amazing will stay here again

Very clean facilities. Very pleasant staff. The cookies were always warm and available. I will forever stay in this hotel when visiting NJ. Conveniently close to NY.

Our family spent 5 days at the Hilton Doubletree in Fort Lee, New Jersey over the holidays and really enjoyed it. The staff is very accomodating and really goes the extra mile to ensure guests are greeted warmly and attended to. Although it is a bit away from NYC, they provide convenient and cost-effective shuttle service into the heart of Manhattan throughout the entire day. The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again in future.

The Double Tree in Fort Lee, NJ is a great place to stay for comfort and convenience to NYC. It is comfortable and the staff is always ready to serve hotel guests and answer their questions or serve them. There is a shuttle that will take hotel guests into NYC and bring them back - all you have to do is make a reservation! There are two restaurants in the hotel. Skip the Japanese, the food is not authentic. Guests are welcomed with warmed chocolate chip cookies that sweeten the check-in process.

Very clean, very freindly staff, one of the best cookie, nice and well maintained rooms, clean linens, clean blankets, clean bathroom and pool, good fitness ctr., free parking. Infact I have nothing bad to say except relatevely small size room and could not find any room w/ 2 queen size beds.

We stayed over night Christmas Eve and Christmas night. The hotel was meticulous and the room was perfect. On Christmas morning the service was a little slow for breakfast, but that was understandable since it was Christmas and some employees were probably allowed off to be with their families. Overall the hotel is an excellent place to stay while visiting New York. The George Washington bridge is only a short distance away making it so convenient. Loved it and I am sure we will stay there again.

Everything about the hotel was excellent - cleanliness, comfort and style. This is a first class hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. The free shuttle transportation was helpful.

This was my 4th stay at this hotel. I love it . Right across the GWB, very clean, love the rooms, very comfy bed. My husband loves the cookies upon check in. Front desk very helpful and professional. i would recommend this hotel over and over again.

The customer service was very friendly and helpful to make our stay comfortable. The location of the hotel is convenient to all major highways the the New York metropolitan area. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and will stay here again in the future. Also, Hotels.com made the price of the stay reasonable.

This hotel is very reasonably priced. A good deal for your money. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. They had a very nice bar and 2 wonderful restaurants. The only problem we had was the shuttle into the actually city of New York - Manhattan - was booked. We had to take a taxi into the city, and this costs a great deal. This was our only complaint. Overall, the hotel was wonderful, and I would stay again. We had a very nice and romantic stay in NYC!

Nice hotel and nice people...especially Manuel. He was very helpful and gave us lots of good advice on taxis, etc. He also drove the shuttle bus. Rooms clean, no bedbugs, Breakfast buffet too expensive.
