Hotels.com booked us in a "smoking" room because their software defaults to the cheapest rooms. We had requested "non-smoking" rooms. The staff solved the problem but it included a roll away bed which was not very comfortable. Everything else was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. Good TV and plenty of choices. It was close to our destination and the staff was extremely supportive.

What you see in the pictures makes this hotel look much nicer than it is in reality. I've stayed in a few holiday inns and this one was the only one I was disappointed with so far. The hotel was dated on the inside and our room was very dark and had hardly any natural light and also our desk chair arm was broken upon arrival. Also noticed there was no microwave or mini fridge which was inconvenient since we had a cooler of food! The pool area was nice but could have been taken care of more often, the sauna was pretty worn. The staff was friendly and I recommend the carriage house restaurant. over all not a terrible hotel, just a little over priced for the condition in my opinion.

I booked this hotel for 1 night for a Karate tournament that we were in the area for. Overall the room was nice (though the wallpaper was peeling), beds were clean and comfortable and the hotel pool and spa were wonderful. I'm glad we stayed there. The Carriage House Restaurant (inside the hotel) was another story. We (about 10 ppl) sat down to dinner around 6:30 and immediately overheard the comments of a equally large party of older women, complaining about the service. It wasn't any better for us. We received all kinds of excuses such as "they weren't expecting this many people to eat" and "There's no waitress tonight, I'm the bartender". It's really not her fault that the manager didn't have restaurant staff on hand. Sad to say, there were only two other tables besides us and they only had 3 people at each table, leaving 3/4 of the dining room open. Between us and those tables, they had about 15-16 people for dinner. I'd hate to see them even halfway full. Breakfast was just as bad, we wouldn't have eaten there except it was paid for when I booked the room. More excuses "We're very busy" and they had the same amount of people as the night before when we were there, our group plus 2 tables, the group of women went elsewhere. One girl (age 6) in our party ordered a bowl of fruit and a bowl of cereal, she was the last served. She got her cereal an hour after we sat down, just as we were getting up to leave. Another lady in our party was never served her order (a bagel) but she was billed for it and after an argument with the cashier, she threw her hands up and walked out. I've never seen a restaurant so disorganized. A lady that I hadn't even seen in the restaurant went to complain at the front desk. She said: "You guys don't realize how much business you just lost in that restaurant." Than managers reply?: "That's fine, we don't care." I was floored. I have stayed at a lot of hotels even "5 star" hotels and this one was great, even better in many ways! This time I was with my wife and three kids. They have a game room, pool and spa! Plenty to keep the kids happy and let my wife and I relax in the spa because we could see the game room and the pool right from the spa. The staff was great, sooooo kind! The heated pool was really heated and clean along with the rooms. This place really is the whole package no matter what you are there for! They even had a check out time that does not feel like they are trying to rush you out! (12:00) The play pin brought in for our baby girl was much much nicer than the hospital style baby beds other places have. I did have a squeaky door hing, but I could hardly call that bad. Trust me; if you are trying to choose a hotel in this area, not only can you not find a better hotel for the money but I don't think you could find a better hotel!

The motel staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were very clean. The room was cleaned everyday.

Nice quiet motel conveniently located off the PA turnpike. We did not eat at the motel restaurent. There are several restaurents in the area.

Really enjoy this hotel. it is a very nice place to stay. my family and i have stay here many times.and love it each time. only one problem they have the worst toilet paper i have every used, and i stay in hotels at least every other month. So remember BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER i do. you"ll be sorry if you don't. : )

Enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn in Morgantown, PA. Living down the shore and displaced by hurricane Irene, we made reservations to stay there. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. They posted welcome signs to all those displaced by the hurricane and wished everyone would have a wonderful stay and a safe trip back home. Would stay there again.

Very disappointed in hotel,service and the smoking room we got stuck in but payed for a non smoking room.

3rd time there, always nice people, clean good stay. There is a restaurant, mom and pop place that is great accross the street, have the pie.

can't think of a single negative thing to say, the staff was nice and some were extra helpful, good breakfast for a good price and the pool and hot tub were just right, McDonalds right across the parking lot, too, very convenient to Amish country

While my wife was dressing I left the room. The "Do not disturb" sign was on the door. I told the housekeeper, who was cleaning the room next door that we were still using the room. Two minuted later the housekeeper opened the door to enter and clean. My wife is annoyed. I was disappointed. I informed the front desk on my way out that they need to train their housekeepers to observe the signs in place, and to listen to the guests. The room had essentially no outside noise, but lots of noise from adjoining rooms. Ordinary quite conversations were readily audible through the doors and walls. Noise from the very loud HVAC system partially masked the noise from the corridor and adjoining rooms.

Nice hotel and big room BUT the AC unit in the room was so loud it sounded like we had a truck in the room with us, especially everytime it kicked on. This made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

This very spacious hotel is right off the exit & has many amenities appropriate for all ages. There is an indoor pool, hot tub, game room, workout room, laundry room, restaurant, & full service bar. There is also an area that can be reserved for private parties. The local town still maintains its country-like charm with many little shops nearby as well as a full service mall within minutes of the hotel. The scenery in this town is marvelous with its picturesque views of farmland & cosy homes alike.

Friendly staff greeted me upon arrival. Large spacious courtyard style lobby. Large indoor pool just off lmain lobby. Fireplace for winter cozy look. Room was large. Window overlooked indoor courtyard . Skylights made courtyard look bright and sunny. King bed was confortable. Choice of firm or soft pillows. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with washing supplies. Coffee maker, hair drier. Large fluffy soft towels. Beautiful granet tub surround. Tiled floor. Refrigerator, microwave oven. Free WI-FI. 27" TV W/lots of channels. Good security at motel. Card readers @ all remote entrances. Large and well lit parking lot. Property exterior , and land scaping properly taken care of. :)

Absolutely the most comfortable bed and pillows, I have ever slept on.

This place meet all my needs i requested.the pool was clean the rooms were very tidy. And you cant go wrong with kids eating free.From now on i choose only hoilday inn. And i got to enjoy the pool. my only complaint is the room smelled as if someone smoked in the room. great location off the highway. I was given printed directions to the outlets. wish i had a extra day there.

We needed a good hotel room to split the difference between Langhorne and Lancanster. This Holiday Inn fit the bill nicely, and there is enough shopping/dining nearby to meet most families' needs. Would recommend.

Very quiet. Seems as though economy has hurt this place a bit, a mall behind it is closed. An employee said business was not so great. Makes for a nice quiet hotel, well maintained, nice people. Pool/jaccuzzi nice. Not much going on in area, Claire's accross the street had the best pies ever, and very inexpensive diner type food.

Our stay was very nice and our room and amenities were great. The only issue we had was having to book a smoking room. Traveling with our small children we wish it was a non-smoking facility.

I was on a business trip and needed a good hotel off of the turnpike. The area was very travel-busy being just off the turnpike and I originally thought the hotel would not be of good quality. But in fact, it was very nice! It looks brand new and certainly is maintained well. I will certainly be staying here again.

I stay here at least twice a year when I race at Maple Grove. Love the location to the track. Love the pool and jacuzzi. Nice bar and resturant in the lobby area. Been staying here for years. Never plan to change Hotels when I race. Rooms are very clean with clean linens every day.

PRICE WAS GREAT. HOTEL WAS CLEAN, GOOD PLACE FOR THE POOL. WE HAD BREAKFAST AND DINNER AND WERE PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. WE WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK THERE AGAIN.

Hotel service was outstanding. Room was clean and the hotel was very nicely maintained. The indoor pool temperature was perfect and the hot tub was actually hot. Nice hotel. Would go again.
