Radisson Blu Hotel, Lisbon - لشبونة

The hotel was OK but no toothbrush for free in the room - and my luggage was checked through to Porto so I had only hand luggage. The hotel was not walking distance from the airport. Furst bus was to airport was at 06:30 so too late for me but plenty of taxis. Rooms big but even with double glazing traffic noixe kept me awake. Staff friendly but the usual slow check in with Passport, Credit Card, etc to be all written down...

Shuttle service is only available outbound!! Food and restaurant service very mediocre.

Great room, wonderful food and service in the hotels restaurant and only an 8-10 euro cab ride from the airport. I for one wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect for what I needed,a good hotel,fairly priced near to the airport with an airport shuttle and free wifi

We needed to be at the airport for an early flight so chose this Hotel for proximity. We were pleased to discover it also is a very nice Hotel, with a very good breakfast and great rooms. Our room was once of the nicest in our Portugal stay, large, clean and comfy. Lovely new bathroom too. Highly recommended.

We stayed here on our way back through Lisbon after a week in Morocco so anything would be nice in comparison :). However we both agreed that the Radisson was quite pleasant. A queen bed and not two twins which we've seen a lot, and it was pretty comfortable. A little harder than I like but softer than most European beds. The window opens (yay!) but there is a lot of freeway noise. Quite a few tv stations, a hot water kettle in the room with coffee, tea and hot chocolate in room, and a fully stocked mini bar. There's a pant presser built into wall, and the bathroom was quite large and well appointed. We both liked the towels! As with all Portugese hotels in my experience there were no washcloths. I quite like the toiletries provided, they had a nice lemony scent. And it had the best tub!! Super deep, longer and wider than any standard tub. I took a lovely bath. There is free wifi with a code from the front desk. It was spotty in our room and in the bar. We had a glass of wine in the bar and there was a decent amount of business travelers there. Good price for the wine, €3,80 a glass. We decided to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant next door as I had seen a previous review saying it was good. They don't open til 7pm for dinner, nor does the in hotel restaurant. The Chinese food was great!! Totally packed house at 8:30 when we left. Good prices, fresh and tasty. The free shuttle to the airport doesn't start til 6:30am so that was unfortunate. We were able to have the front desk call for a taxi and it arrived right on schedule. We had excellent service from the staff, and I saw them deal quite well with a very surly and unpleasant lady! Oh, we also were able to walk about 5 min to a pharmacy and passed several cafes, a little tiny food shop, hairdresser and I think a newsstand.

This hotel was clean and had everything I needed, the restaurant was also good. Would stay here again

We live in Madrid and wanted a romantic escape to Lisbon. This was the perfect hotel matched with a close Metro stop and an amazing place to eat. Besides the fact that the places in the hotel are overpriced, there is a Chinese place right next store! The WiFi in the lobby is free (get a code from the desk). Don't doubt.

Reasonable value for money. Not what you expect from a Radisson, but this is portugal. Watch out for taxi drivers from the airport. They don't like the short ride and will overcharge if you are not careful. 9 Euros is the normal charge from the airport. All in all, we liked the hotel and the staff were very professional and helpful.

Positive side, very comfortable bed and courtesy bus to airport worked well. Negative side wi-fi only available in public spaces.

As it's so close to the airport it's very convenient for an overnight stay before a flight. Staff very helpful and the hotel was peaceful and well kept.

Simply put, stay here if you... a) have a really early flight out of Lisbon because it is super-close to the airport, pretty cheap, clean, and has free internet and shuttle service, Do not stay here if you are not in this situation because it is not at all conveniently located for anything else.

It was a very good experience, I was going to travel early in the morning and the Hotel offer me transfers to the airport.

We picked this hotel for its convenience to the airport since we had an early morning flight.It is no more than 10 minutes to the airport and easy to get to off Rt. A1.The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very recently furnished in modern, fashionable wood furniture. The hotel staff was excellent. They arranged the very early automatic wakeup call and ten minutes after it came, they called personally to make sure that we were awake.We had dinner in the hotel, and found it to be moderately priced and a relative good value.All in all the hotel met our needs very well.

The food is excellent. Try a traditional dish if you can. The overall service is also excellent. The bed could be newer, but still in decent condition.

If you have an early morning flight, it's a great place to stay -- free shuttle to the airport in the am. To get into the touristy part of Lisbon, you need to either take a subway or cab

Good value, nice rooms & friendly service.

The room was comfortable enough (bed was a little firm) with a great view out the window. It was quite warm in the room when we arrived but we opened the window and that helped. The staff is very helpful - especially the young man that helped us with our bags and getting us to the airport. He gave us really good directions for getting around on the metro. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was quite good and the waiter quite attentive. He was very helpful and wanted to make sure we got everything we needed. This was a one night stay as we prepared to head back to the USA the next morning. If you are planning on staying here while you see Lisbon and the surrounding towns, I think you will find it very convenient.

it was good i could sleep soon after i had arrived at the airport in Lisbon thanks to the hotel's location, though it took time for me to drive there from the airport because streets around there were very complicated. well it's ok to stay just to take a break after your long flight.

Wonderful, Stayed there one night as we had a early flight out of Lisbon the next day. We wanted to go to Lisbon for a quick look around. Hotel staff very helpful,took the metro. The restaurant was great wait stafff very accomodating, food was dellicious. Had the tuna salad yum, husband had asian noodles yum.

No problem with the staff or the quality of the room BUT for an airport hotel not to operate an airport bus shuttle from the airport is unnacceptable Also for the money I paid I would expect breakfast and 14 euro's extra is way too expensive A complimentary bottle of water in the room would have been nice too !

This was one of the most uncomfortable bed I ever tried to sleep in! The 4 legs were uneven so my head was lower than my legs! Reception staff not really efficient. Food at the restaurant nice. Good luck with your bed!

the front desk staff were great, the other staff not so much, the bar and restaurant staff were horrid they treated us like we were an inconvenience, and the food was horrid! it is located close to nothing other then the airport

This cosmopolitan hotel is located near the Lisbon airport which was why we chose it for a one night stay prior to an early morning departure.The advertised airport shuttle was small, requiring a reservation, seating about 6 and only departing once every hour so we did not use it. A problem with TV reception was fixed by an in-house technician within 20 minutes of reporting the problem. The surrounding area seemed industrial with little to offer travellers without transportation so it is nice that the hotel has both a restaurant and bar.

The hotel is a short walk to the Campo Grande metro station, grocery and breakfast place close if you don't want to pay 14 Euro pp for their buffet. Great place to be quiet and sleep well after a day trudging around Lisbon. Well worth the very good price we got.

my family and i were very happy with location near airport and estadio jose alvalado and the food was good we had bitoque steak with a egg on top. everyone was good to us. next year we are thinking of going back to portugal and we will stay at your hotel for a couple days. thank you. great job to everyone.

The bed was so comfortable. Room nice and clean. The Front Desk staff were really not helpful. When the wireless didn't work and we simply wanted to print our boarding passes, they made a big stink about us just bopping into the business centre for 5 min to do so, saying that the wireless being down "wasn't their fault." Further we had misbooked our shuttle to the airport for the wrong day. Rather than inform us that morning, we walked in to check in to be greeted with the news that the shuttle was completely booked at the time we wanted - which turned out to be completely untrue, as we found out from the concierge, who was as helpful as the front desk staff was problematic.

This hotel is close to the airport. Taxi was less than 10 euros. Rooms are large according to European standards. Table and two chairs, safe, and two windows! The A/C works well! Only complaint would the bed is a bit hard for my liking. Taxis to the waterfront and eateries are less that 10 euros. Neighborhood is walkable. The rooms are fairly quiet although the hotel sits next to a busy road.

Hotel is well located for the airport and a short walk from the metro and bus station. Restaurants, the cinema, snack bars and a supermarket are a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. A free airport shuttle service is available to guests from 06:00 to 23:00.

I stayed one night after the land tour because near the airport for early departure. I did not expect such a nice room. It was big and nice interior. bathroom was nice, too. I wished I could stay longer. I really like this hotel.

Close to the airport but still incredibly convenient for all sights in this small city. High standard rooms and wonderful service.

You know, coming to this hotel via taxi would be great. But driving there, even with a navigation system, is a royal pain. The hotel is big, and you can see it, but man oh man, do they ever need some simple signs directing the way. Hotel staff extremely competent and professional. Nice rooms, big, comfortable beds, breakfast was OK if a little bit greasy (probably to satisfy the Brits) but the service overall was superb.

Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel. It's close to the airport and a Metro line, which was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable, and hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Meals at the hotel were quite pricey, and we found we needed to go downtown on the Metro to find a restaurant. This wasn't too difficult since the Metro is close, cheap, and the trip downtown is only 10-15 minutes away. The only restaurant or cafe we saw near the hotel was a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, but we didn't find anything else nearby.

Everything ok except: - The bathroom pipes smelled - The airport shuttle service is too limited for an Airport Hotel. I would recommend the hotel to anyone needing to stay close to the airport particulary at the rate I got from hotels.com

Great location close to the airport, very friendly and accomodating staff. Unfortunately I was only there overnight, so I did not get to have an extensive experience.

Our room had been recently redone and was comfortable, but the lobby was aged and could use refurbishing. We needed an airport hotel for the night before an early flight, and it was perfect for that, but the location would not be ideal for seeing Lisbon. it is just off the highway, and not close to the historical sites, best restaurants, etc.

Very nice rooms. Clean, ready to use. Helpful staff. Restauraunt food and wine very good; service also VG. Close to airport. I would stay here again. Prices were very reasonable.

We stayed here due to having a 12hr stopover. The airport is close by and taxi fare cost 7 euro there and 8 euro back the next morning (29~30th October 2010). Rooms are clean and modern. Although the have an airport shuttle it was fully booked when we intended to use it...

Radisson Blu is a really nice hotel very close to the airport and to the train station. Simple walk and then 14 minutes on the train to downtown. Great value in Lisbon. However watch out for the cab drivers - we got overcharged - make sure the cabbie uses the meter and doesnt charge a flat rate. Hotel is only 5 minute cab from airport. Hotel offers a shuttle but you must call ahead to arrange a pickup.
