Aspen Meadows Resort - أسبين

We had to stay an extra night due to flight being canceled. (Go United!). We couldn't stay where we were because they closed down for the season. I called the Inn at Aspen and they were full, and recommended Aspen Meadows. We really enjoyed our room and the exercise facility.

there was nothing really wrong with it but it was kinda' like staying at summer camp. separate buildings gave it a dormitory feel. very small tv with limited channels. having a balcony was nice if you're a smoker.

I was in doubt about this hotel since it seemed further away from town but I liked that part of it. You feel like you're in the meadows but there's a free shuttle that takes you in town. It's a short ride and they pick you up when you call. The food at the bar and breakfast downstairs was amazing. Everyone was accommodating. Seth the bellman/driver was very courteous and helpful. It's a beautiful property. The rooms were better than I expected too. My only complaint were that the walls were a little thin. I woke up two nights in a row due to a girl coughing and talking across the way. I was on the second floor but I could still hear ppl walking. This hotel has all the amenities i needed. Would definitely come back again!

Aspen Meadows is a Resort, a destination in itself. It has a wonderful campus of buildings that are designed in a clean, Modern Architectural Style. Each of the rooms are actually four rooms in one: Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom. They are all generously appointed with beautiful Modern Styled Furniture. WiFi computer access is the norm. The outdoors is a beautiful wonderland filled with hiking trails, crispy clean pools and terrific exercise opportunities. The people running the facilities are intelligent, helpful and "kind". From the front desk to the maids, all were concerned about the quality of our stay. One could have a wonderful vacation staying at The Aspen Meadows without even going into the Town of Aspen. Thank you Aspen Meadows, we really appreciated your accommodations. it was our first time at Aspen. This hotel was very close and convenient to everything as skiing,shopping and dinning . room has big size space ,very clean. the view around the hotel is courageous and quite . my kids enjoy the warm swimming pool even in cold winter days.we loved it all .

We loved the peaceful surroundings and the rooms are quite large. Staff was very helpful and the property is within walking distance to town or they operate a shuttle. Will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic. Room was designed very well, from the desk to the shower to the floor-to-ceiling windows. The shuttle service is very helpful as well, both into and from the parking garage your room. Room service was tasty- only complaint is the price. Overall it is a great establishment.

This hotel is a nice change of pace from other Aspen hotels. The rooms are large, bright, and open with a lot of windows. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of counter space and the glass shower added a classy touch. Parking was a bit of a pain as you cannot park near your room. However, the hotel staff will provide a golfcart to and from the parking area for you and your bags. The gym and pool were fantastic. Also, the resort is near a few trails, so if you have time, be sure to take a walk around and enjoy the scenery.

My husband and I loved the total experience at the Aspen Meadows Resort. The room itself was clean, adorable, and very spacious. More importantly for us though were the grounds that make up the total resort. There was nature, art, art made of nature. The resort is a short shuttle ride from the town square of Aspen, but well worth it as you are overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountains, trees, and the river. My 3 year old son was along and it was great to get him out and about on the walking paths. I can't say it enough, it was the most beautiful place. I will plan another trip to Aspen soon, specifically to stay here.

We really loved this resort, especially because there were plenty of interesting areas to walk, our dog loved it, too. The grounds are beautifully designed and cared for. Our suite was spacious and clean, the bedding was just right for us. Our only dissatisfaction was the first night when the staff was cleaning the building across from us and making all kinds of racket, but when we closed the windows it was quiet. The shuttle service was always prompt and we didn't have to get our car out of the garage once. I have already recommended the resort to a friend and we hope to go back in the future.

Our whole stay was pretty much a great expierence. Staff is VERY friendly and accommodatable. They shuttle you to and from down-town 24/7. The decor in the rooms is wonderful, the landscaping is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, just a beautiful area in general. Great walking trails to/from the facility. The restaurant was amazing with exceptional staff and food. The only reason it did not recieve 5 stars was the cleanliness. For that upscale of a resort, I would truely expect more. It started with us touring the facility. There was an abundance of dirt/sand in the swimming pool and hot tub, which leads me to believe it's not well maintained. In our room on the wall above one of the windows was dirty black smudge marks. Not something anyone would normally touch, so I imagine it too has been there for a while. There is dripping yellow residue all over the walls in the bathrooms (not something anyone wants to see), but I happen to know from expierence this is nicoteen pouring from the walls, because someone previously smoked in there, and with the humidity from the showers it seeps out. However there was hairs stuck in the yellow residue, and even after the maid service, it was still there. Clearly this has not been cleaned nor sanitized in quite some time. Makes me kind of affraid to touch anything in the room. But the straw that finally did it for us is seeing what appeared to be a blood stain on the sheets. Granted it was very small (bout the size of a pea) and at the foot of the bed, it was still disturbing none the less. I would recommend the stay, but I would also recommend bringing sanatizer, and cleanly wipes. For a resort this nice, I truely would expect better quality with the cleaning.

Spent one night at Aspen Meadows on 8/18 and was pleasnatly surprised, The Hotel is in a serene corner of Aspen. It has all of the amenities one could ask for. The people were helpful and they have a free shuttle to Downtown Aspen and will pick you up when you call for a return ride. The room was very contemporary, very clean, and very large. I would not hesitate to return there. The value was outstanding, a real find for our stay. It is a first class operation and I would recomend it highly. Not a place for kids.

Disappointed. Aspen is gorgeous but next time we'll stay somewhere else. Not really a hotel or a resort, more like a group of college dormitory buildings with individual dorm rooms. Room was spacious and clean, with modern decorations, like a euro dorm or hostel, but inside hallways and corridors were dingy and stained. Buildings and rooms are old, that maybe were in their prime 30 years ago. No working climate control, had to open windows entire stay for cool air. Staff not very friendly upon check-in or check-out, didn't really see anyone on staff the rest of the time unless we sought them out. Was excited to do a little flyfishing on property but you can't access the river like website implies - unless you have the ability to climb down basically a vertical cliff drop of about 200 feet - not sure how anyone would get back up the cliff even if you did. Pool had no towels one day, and when we asked, we were told that they were short-staffed and no towels were available - forced to use bath floor mats (clean and stacked by showers) in rec center to dry off after swin. Might be okay for business conference or something, but for our next family vacation in Aspen, we will definitely stay somewhere else.

Gorgeous location, felt very looked after. Our suite was a great size, really comfy bed and fantastic views from both the lounge and bedroom. Room service food really delicious. It takes about 15-20 mins to walk from resort to centre of Aspen, and the hotel provides a half hourly free shuttle service into town which take about 5 mins. We really enjoyed the location, close to town but with the bonus of feeling like you were far from town in the 40 or so acres the resort is located on. would really recommend this hotel.

I wasn't sure what to expect of the Aspen Meadows. The grounds are beautiful, as was the room. I had a jr. suite and it was spacious, attractively and comfortably furnished. Everything was high quality with attention to detail. Well equipped exercise room and the Hotel provides shuttle service on the hour an the half to the center of Aspen, as well as pickup. They were flexible on the shuttle as I would show up a few minutes past the hour (but I was the only user). The grounds are a campus and are part of the Aspen Institute and adjoin the Institute & the Music Festival.

I enjoyed the layout of the room, very modern and chic. The only problem, no air conditioner! I did not know this was Green Hotel, no air conditioning was not my idea of comfort. Had I known that at time of booking I would have chosen a different spot. If your into the whole Green thing then this is a spot for you. Everything else was excellent. The staff was very courteous and always asked if I needed anything.

Grounds were very nice. Parking was convenient; restaurant was upscale; quiet. Only there for one night in off-season and room rate was a bit high-side, but we got a nice room. Perfectly happy with the experience, including booking through the internet.

The "campus" is terrific, a great setting and location to town/mountains. The diningroom and bar very good, exercise room well equipped, clean and up to date. Rooms very comfortable. Only slight down side, buildings are old and hall/room noises are audible. With noisy guests, it could be a problem.

The Aspen Meadows Hotel is an outstanding resort hotel. The architecture is incredible (Mid-20th Century Bauhaus), the rooms are impecably maintained and absolutely beautiful (furnished with Mid-20th Century pieces and complete with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker), wonderful artwork (mainly Herbert Bayer), huge windows with phenomenal vistas of the surrounding mountains and aspen groves, a wonderful restaurant (Plato's) with panoramic views of the surrounding forests and mountains, a great health club, beautiful grounds (40 acres) with amazing pieces of sculpture, a great business center, and a very hospitable staff. The resort is very close to the Aspen Music Tent and the Aspen Institute. The only downside to the resort is it is about 1 mile outside of town, but they do provide a free shuttle service that is available 24 hours a day. All in all, the Aspen Meadows Resort is one of the most beautiful and unique hotels in Colorado. I would definitely recommend it to patrons who want a restful, peaceful, and sophisticated experience in the magnificent countryside of Aspen. It is a "five-star" experience and well worth the price.

GOOD CONFORT CLEAN

The staff could not have been more courteous, friendly, and helpful. Beautiful grounds and views. The resort is a 20 min walk, 10 min bike ride and 4 min drive to downtown Aspen. Shuttle service is provided by the resort. The resort is located on the grounds of the Aspen Institute, is over 50 yrs old, and has a very 1960's, collegiate ambiance...if you can use the words collegiate and ambiance in the same sentence ;o) Lack of A/C in the suite is the only drawback of the accomodations. Would rebook in a heartbeat.

This hotel was amazing. The scenery around the hotel of the Aspen Mountains was breathtaking. The rooms are more like apartments, plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the onsite resturant (Platos) the food was delicious and the wait staff was extremely nice and even recommended other resturaunts around town to try. I WILL be staying at the Aspen Meadows Resort again, and I will recommend this hotel to everyone. I rate this resort 5 stars!!

Food service was disorganized and slow. Cold breakfast buffet for less money would be nice.
