The location was perfect, I could walk to restaurants, the movies, Jamba Juice, furniture stores, my conference facility was right outside the door!

I probably would not stay here again, unless the price dropped materially. Not enough value for the price. PROs: 1. The front desk staff was very friendly. 2. Unlike the Doubletree in Pasadena (garage never has enough spaces), or the Huntington (slow, slow, valet parking ONLY), the garage has plenty of space 3. Sound insulation is great. The room across the hall had a loud party going on, and I didn't hear a thing with the door shut CONs: 1. The room I was assigned smelled terrible -- really musty like a dog kennel. Had to ask for a new room. 2. The underground garageis a hassle. 3. The room charge (about two hundred) was too high for a totally average hotel. Then I was nickeled-and-dimed for tens of dollars more for parking, internet, and more for printing a boarding pass. I could have stayed at the Huntington with real luxury for only about fifty dollars more (room only), or at the Hilton Garden Inn or Embassy Suites (in Arcadia) for much less (and without the nickel-and-diming)

This hotel is within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, as well as the trolley to downtown LA. A supermarket is a block away. Norton Simon and Huntington museums are minutes away. Easy access to freeway system. Hotel services are high quality. Would recommend it to anyone visiting LA.

Noisy neighbors above us late at night. Manager moved us to another room immediately, comped our breakfast the next day. Plan to return soon.

This hotel looks and smells old, the room was covered in air freshener that mixed with the rooms bad smell to create a worse smell. The bed sheats were like sleeping in paper and the walls are paper thin. I complained about the noise at 2 am and an hour later security came to my door and woke me up again. This was at third floor club level. The worst hotel experience ever. They discounted the over priced parking for my terrible nigth.

The only negative I found was the loudness of the television next door. I don't know if it was an insulation issue, or just a guest who was very hard of hearing.

Everything is great about this hotel except the parking. They charge everyone including their customers $13 for parking.

This hotel is next to the Pasadena convention center so expect convention gests. There was a Toast Masters Party going on at the time and elevators where full most of the time – if not from gests then staff. When I they give me a key, it didn't work in my room. So I called the front desk and had to wait for a bellman to get me a key. The club lounge was conferrable but didn't have much in the way of stacks, but did have sodas. The room was very good and clean. The AC in these rooms is a wall unit and the thermostat only goes down to 70 degrees F but it worked for me. What I really liked was the location in Pasadena. It was a prime spot in a quiet condo neighborhood yet you have access to the convention center and shopping. Metro link is also not far away – so you can have access to most of LA that is what sold it for me!

Short, pleasant walk to town, lots of shops and restaurants. Room was large and comfortable.

My stay last week was average, could have done much better for the high rate a night. The hotel is old, so it seems as if they are trying to "cover up" it's age rather than undergo much needed renovation. Front desk was average, maid opened my door at 11 am even though checkout at noon. Would not recommend staying here for the price and quality.

Nothing spectacular. But no complaints. It was a comfortable room, quiet, clean and good location. My only potential complaint would be the loud air-conditioning unit...but that was pretty minor.

Big and clean room. Great outdor pool. Much better price when booked by www.hotels.com instead of booking in the reception.

We had a convention to attend and we really liked the convenient location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. But since it was a convention the hotel was full. We knew that going in but the front desk help seemed stressed out when checking in which lead to them making mistakes and lots of extra time to correct them. I'm an easy going guy so it did not bother me too much but it was disconcerting and awkward. I have a feeling the problem was in them not planning ahead for the convention rush at check in thereby not having enough clean rooms ready. Not a problem if you are okay with free drinks in the bar until your room is ready which they were virtually handing out to everybody. I also got a song and dance about not being able to "hold" a king bed room for me while I went out to dinner. Seems like it would be easy enough for a computer to figure out who checked in first and start handing out the king bed rooms accordingly. Rather they told me if I left the lobby/bar area my room could be given to someone else. What a crock.

Amazed that I got a room with Microsoft in town. Convenient to my LA destination.Very quiet,pet friendly,clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. I stay in town often due to business and usually stay in the Burbank/Universal City area but this location is much more secluded and just as nice! Thanks to Hotels.Com for saving the day.

Directly below convention and dining area. Heard tables and chairs being moved around until 11:00 p.m. and beginning again at around 5:00 a.m. Great shower pressure!

First class all the way. Stay on the club level if you can. You get access to a lounge with free drinks and Internet access. Very comfortable, clean hotel with great service. Good surrounding area.

All was great except no maid service the first day. Front desk offered to clean room in the evening, but we did not want to be disturbed. We have them bring clean towels, though. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is pet friendly, and family friendly. The rooms are high quality and very clean and quiet. They do not charge a fee for bringing a pet but they do charge for internet access. The location is beautiful and it is so close to Old Town Pasadena, an absolute must see place. There is Paseo Colorado, an outdoor mall with an Arclight theater, very nice theater! Tons of shops and high quality restaurants. Nice place to walk around or take a date. Lots to do for the family too. Location is close to the freeway so you can get to LA quickly or anywhere else you want to go. They charge $13 for parking per 24 hours but you can go in and out of their garage as much as you want within that period of time. I think it's a great deal compared to other places where you have to valet park and you end up spending much more than that in tip for the valet if you go in and out a lot. All in all, I highly recommend the place, I would stay there again and again. The staff is friendly and very courteous.

I can't complain about the quality or service. Everything was excellent with the exception of the surcharges. There was a surcharge for everything except flushing the toilets (I think). However, I slept like a baby, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it was close to my destination. the convention center was right outside the rear entrance.

Enjoyed my stay except for the air conditioning. Probably an adjustment to the temperature gauge would have helped. Otherwise, I would stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel...Staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great-lots of choices.Will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.Absolutely loved the beds...so comfy

A group of nearby guests were loud, clapping and cheering, until 4:00 in the morning (we obviously woke up every time they acted as such). At 1:30 A.M., somone knocked on our door (I would have strangled the person had I found out who did it). The next morning, we complained and the Hotel Front Desk Person apathetically responed: "We'll note it." Summarily, I expected much more from the Hotel chain.

I am a frequent traveler and I was impressed of the service offered at this hotel. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

My friends and I stayed one night here while in L.A. and visiting Hollywood the next day. I'm so glad we chose to stay here instead of Hollywood. We got a beautiful room for a fraction of the price of what we would have paid there. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the hotel was clean, well maintained, and decorated nicely. I would definitely return if the in the area again.

The only bad news was having to pay $13 per day for parking.

There is no doubt staying at Sheraton Pasadena was a very pleasant experience. From the room comfort (Bed and shower) to staff attitude was great! I was put on 3rd floor which is a club room. My excitement died pretty quick when they told me that they only serve in the club lounge during working days...The gym was closed for rennovation..but cant use this against them. Overall a great trip and great attitude

THIS HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND NEAR MANY ATTRACTIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

good hotel overall. we stayed one night while visiting relatives in the area.

We love staying at this hotel. Our rooms are always nice, the staff is always helpful, and the location is perfect for visiting the Pasadena area.

My husband and I really enjoyed having the option to walk just about everywhere we needed to go. Pasadena's outdoor mall, ice skating and convention center are all easy walks away. Also, we found a delicious hole in the wall pizza place (Tarantino's) on Green Street nearby. Nothing like hanging at the pool and ending the night with a great meal!

Great service, well mantained, bedding the best. Will vistit again. Cheers.

We were very happy with our room which was on the 1st floor and had a great patio. The size and layout were great especially for the price. Also ordered room service and it came quickly and was really good! Would stay here again and would recommend to others!

As the title says; The beds & bedding were wonderful! For as much as we paid... we still had to load & unload our own luggage. They did not have a cart to place them on so we had to make 2 trips! Our room was kind of on the stinky side. We had hair in the shower when we checked in, & there was used tissue in both the waste cans. And it looked like the mirror could have used another cleaning. One of the windows did not shut all the way it had about a 1.5" gap. The AC stopped working in the middle of the night & made a horrible noise. We did not call as the only thing we could of done was change rooms.... but we had our little ones with us & did not want to wake them & gather everything to switch rooms. We I did call in the morning we were told they were sorry!! As for the Staff...... we have had friendlier staff at other hotels. Coffee was free in the rooms, $3.75 in restaurant! You must spend over $10 in the gift shop in order to use your debit card!! In order for us to stay here again....... we would really have to get a GREAT deal, and even then we would really have to think about it. Seems like they prefer the business class folks & give them the better treatment . This was witnessed by my wife & I on several occasions while using the computers. Upon check out they took a Starwood Guest before us even though we were there first, but he was a preferred Starwood Guest & a business man! Hey.... we both put our pants on the same way ~ THIS DID NOT SIT WELL WITH ME! Oh if you are gonna make a local call...... $1 per call!!!

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town to see relatives and had to stay 3 nights. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. There was Starbucks coffee in the room which was nice. We ended up staying an extra night and they gave us the rate from Hotels.com which was nice. The pool was cold and it is not very deep (my 8 year old noticed this) was the only problem. Also parking is not cheap- probably becausethe hotel is at the convention center. I think that they should give discounted parking if you stay more than one night. We ended up paying like $60 for it which is pretty high!!

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel, and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean, and the linen was white which I really like as stains can hide on colored or printed linens, especially comforters. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The most unfortunate thing was that there were only two restaurants and they were pricely according to my husband. Other than this it is worth your time.

Close to shopping and food and room was very clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed the short stay and liked the area - walkable to movies, restaurant and shopping!

I didn't know where to book my room since it was the first time I have been in Pasadena. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was near shops and restaurants in the area. The only thing was that I had a late start in the morning and opt to have the breakfast buffet,,, I couldn't cut through my eggs benedict since it was so hard and cold, but the taste was good. I guess I should have asked for a replacement. Also, the garage rates should be lower for hotel guests.

This hotel is walking distance close to Colorado Blvd and right next to the Ice skating rink, Pasadena Convention Center and nice, upscale restaurants like Yardhouse, the Arclight theater and plenty of nice shops. The staff is great, the rooms are nice and the area is safe.

Overall Pleasant Room. A bit of a noisy fan / ventilation duct that you couldn't turn off in the bathroom, but not noticeable if the door was closed. Very comfortable bed. Everything else was nice. Especially convenient was the shuttle that will take you anywhere in the area and pick you up. Close walking distance (6-7 blocks) to lots of places to eat or drink. The hotel will give you a good list of local restaurants nearby at check-in.
