DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago - Magnificent Mile - شيكاغو

The location was great, the customer service was not. The front desk lady at night seemed put out every time I needed something never being truely helpful. My room bathtub did not drain which was gross. the overall room was nice.

We spend three days at the Double Tree in Chicago. Check in was as easy as ever and the door men where always on anytime we needed a taxi. You are only three blocks from Michigan ave. so you can walk it. The only thing is the bar you can not lift anything of the bar or it will charge you and the same goes for the minibar. We went to the store just across the street and bought some drinks and snacks you just could not use the fridge.

I found the Doubletree on Magnificent Mile an excellent hotel. The beds were very comfortable and everyone was very nice from the folks who cleaned the room to the check-in and check-out people. I would definitely stay here again. Plus it is very well located, too. I would live there if I could!

Double Tree in Chicago was very close to Michigan Ave. for shopping and also close to many excellent restraurants!

Went for a girls weekend, loved the connected parking garage. Very easy walk to all shopping and bars. Super comfortable beds!!

The bed was super comfy and the room is very pleasant. Felt right at home during our stay and the staff is super friendly...completely met my expectations and for a reasonable price, too. Unfortunately, our room was attached to a group of very noisey people who came back late and were yelling, waking us up. We called the front desk and they sent security up imediately and the noise stopped. Kudos to Double Tree for handling the situation promptly but paper thin walls seemed to be the bigger problem to begin with. Also, there was mold on the shower drain and the water didn't fully drain while showering.

Great location nice hotel, a little fridge would have been great!!

This was the 2nd year in a row we stayed here. Love the location for the price. Only complaint I have is I wouldn't pay extra for a lake view again. Little sliver of the lake between buildings does not constitute a lake view for me. Room was clean and the beds comfy!

Comfy bed!

Hotel and room were comfortable and clean. Only complaint is the tv's in the gym don't work and you're about 3ft from a concrete wall - not a very exciting workout. However, I would note cardio equipment in gym is nicer than most other hotels.

Great hotel, great location. Parking is outragous at hotel. Very nice part of town and staff was awesome

The hotel is conveniently situated just two blocks from the Magnificent Mile. The hotel staff are very accommodating and provided excellent service. The hotel room itself is a bit dated (popcorn ceilings, dated furniture), but it was very comfortable and from from our window we could see an unobstructed view of downtown Chicago in all of its glory. The carpet in our room was damp upon our arrival; I assume they cleaned it prior to us checking in. It was a bit inconvenient but nothing that would have caused us to request a room switch. Overall, I give the hotel 4.5 out of 5 stars. Enjoy your stay!

I thought the room was excellent. Only 2 things could have made the stay better: Free wifi in the room not just in the lobby, and free continental breakfast. I would pay an extra few bucks for these 2 items.

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The concierge service was great. Anytime me and my wife wanted to go somewhere they gave suggestions, they gave exact directions, and they even told us the best bus route to take. The room was a little small but it was only two of us and we were'nt there to often. The room was very clean and great location.

My wife and I recently stayed at the DoubleTree - Mag Mile for a weekend in the city. The hotel is only 2 blocks from Michigan Ave and a short walk to Navy Pier. We were greeted with a warm cookie upon check-in and the staff were very nice. The room was comfortable and met our needs for the price we spent. However, you could hear noise from other guests when they were in the hallway and during our particular stay, only 2 of the 4 elevators were working. I would stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a hotel off of Michigan Ave for a decent price.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was in a great location, close to everything. Room wasn't super fancy, but was clean and suited our needs. Hotel staff was very friendly and had great dining recommendations. Overall a good place to stay; would definitely visit again.

Beds, linens and pillows were nice quality. We used the bellman service to bring our bags to the room. He brought up brochures for us of the area as well, hung our coats and put our suitcases away. He even explained to my kids that the snacks in the room were charged to us if they were to lift them off the tray and the same went for the nicely furnished mini-fridge. Just a short and comfortable walk to Navy Pier. Very pleased with our stay and the employees- the warm cookie given to each of us at check in was a nice bonus. :-)

Very convenient location. There is an attached parking garage but the parking rate is higher than a public lot across the street and the hotel gives no discount for its guests.

I thought this hotel was great. Very good customer service and very helpful with all questions. The rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. There is a great hometown style bar that is right across the street that I a lot of fun also. Overall, I had a great experience.

Parking is outragious! $45/night

This hotel was amazing. I loved every part of it.

This hotel wasn't the nicest hotel that I have stayed in when visiting downtown Chicago, but it still was a good experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a great deal on the room. It was an old hotel, with updated furniture and a more modern decor. I would go back if they offered the same price again. It was an amazing hotel when you consider the price we paid.

Room very clean, staff friendly, great location, would definitely stay here again one of the nicest hotels that we've stayed in Chicago

Hotel's in a great location. Three blocks from Lakeshore Dr and hard in the Loop. Lotsa restaurants and plenty of Chicago's well-known watering holes nearby. The facility is in good condition considering the use it gets. Stay away from the mini-Bar and if you're not used to big-city prices at the bar, get used to 'em. Otherwise a good value. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Friendly courteous staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. Could not print boarding passes in media center without paying for computer usage, was the only downside.

We went for the Stricly Sail boat show @ Navy Pier. Parked @ the hotel and hoofed it to the show, after a brisk walk back. Had a woderful evening meal @ Camies and then a quick cab back to uor comfy room for a night cap, granted the drinks a tad pricy, but worth it considering it was no more the bar and atmosphere so much more relaxing. Lookin forward to my next stay @ the Double Tree!

This hotel is in the best location! Walking distance to all of Chicago hotspots!

The hotel was clean and the location was great. However the bathroom tub was clogged , which caused me to wait 30 minutes after my husband had his shower. The bathrooms should be updated. Also the cookies, which I look forward to eating when I stay at Doubletree were not good. They were stale.

I stayed 3 nights there and it was OK. Checkin was easy and first impression of hotel was positive. Having to pay for wifi is pretty insane but I knew of the charge before booking. Didn't realize that is for the SLOW wifi...if you wanted faster it was twice as much, not to mention it was completely broken one day (they did refund when I disputed the bill). Most annoying thing was there was no coffee maker in the hotel. I called to the front desk and was told it should be there and they would send one up. Never happened. The next day I called again and they did send one up however it didn't work. All in all it is a decent value considering I didn't pay too much, got a but I would not stay there if it were any more!

We were treated with a nice warm cookie on a super cold snowy night! The room was beautiful, the location was perfect! We used the concierge & were taken care of like royalty! Every staff member we came in contact with during our weekend was so friendly & helpful!

Very friendly and helpful doormen, plus hotel is close to Michigan Ave shopping. Was a great deal for the price I paid, would surely stay there again on my next visit to Chicago

This is an incredible value. We stayed in January, in the midst of a snowstorm. However it is 2 blocks from the Magnificant Mile, 4 blocks to Navy Pier and 3 blocks to Northwestern University Medical center. West Egg is across the street, a virtual institution for BIG breakfasts. The room was clean, and spacious for Chicago. View of Navy Pier. Given its location, we walked everywhere, and dispite the inclement weather, we managed to get to everything we want. This is our second stay here, and would stay here again. The only problem about writing this review is that it lets the secret out.

Fabulous rooms, great staff. The only minor concern was there was a bit of a chill from the windows but we placed the runners from the beds along the edge of the windows and problem solved. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and was travelling with my 70 year old and seasoned traveller mom who enjoyed it as well! Ask for a city view.

We really enjoy staying at the double Tree. The location is close to many restaurants and sight seeing. Cost of parking is pricey but all hotels are. The beds are great and really enjoy O'Tool's pub right near the hotel.

we were in town for a north suburb wedding brrrr and it snowed, but so easy to walk near hotel location. 2 blocks from magnificent mile.Plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff nice and helpful. Wished they had wi-fi throughout instead of just lobby!
