Hard to complain about anything, room are getting a bit old

The location, with a view of the golf course and the mountaints in the distance was great and not too far from El Paseo. The Villa room was spacious and the service was excellent.

We reserved a lock-off room for New Year's for my son and his fiance as we were staying at the same location with friends. We arrived early and the front desk was able to accommodate us. The room had a nice view of a green on the golf course. The property is very nice but is in the process of a phased renovation. This room had not yet been renovated and was a bit tired, but clean. It would be wise to ask. Check out time is 10:00 AM. When asked to extend, the most they would do was an additional 45 minutes. Keep that in mind in planning your last day. The grounds, pools, etc. were in good condition. Just be aware that this is primarily a time share property and not a hotel.

The room we were provided was not what I was lead to believe I had reserved.

My family and I were only able to stay one night and we were bummed we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all the facilities. The room was large and comfortable perfect for a family! We could easily stay a week.

We stayed in a 2 room villa which was really a suite with another regular room attached. The positives: space was big, the price was good, view was nice, amenities were good and it was conveniently located to things we wanted to see. The negatives: the 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out time are not convenient, some of the staff weren't accommodating when it came to check-in and check-out (we didn't get the type of room we were promised and they wouldn't let us check out any later than the 10am check-out time and the cleaning people literally waited outside our door starting at 9:30am the day we checked out), the mattress on the fold-out sofa was literally a bag of metal springs and impossible to sleep on, it got very loud when they started grooming the golf course before 8am and things on the property like the pools and grills were very spread out so we had to drive to get to some of them. It was a decent place and if the check-in and check-out times were more in line with other hotels or the staff were more willing to work with us on checking in and out, we'd give it a more glowing review.

Great location, freeway close. Beautiful grounds, kept up very nicely with view onto Golf Green. Next to main pool. The soft bed was to die for with a cute patio and table/chairs. The only drawback was the shower, glass doors were heavy, didn't open easily and no inside handle to pull open after you are done. Needs updating badly.

This well kept full ammeity resort is a slice of heaven. We were a couple looking for golf in the midst of Spring Break family travel. What a joy to see all the family fun, multiple opportunitiees for activities for kids and families, great pools. We golfed there and various courses in the area using an online booking service. Location is convenient to the entire valley., resort is secure. Highly recommend accomodations at this resort.

Expensive not worth money and pics on hote; website deceptive. My room was about half the size and looked nothing like the pics. It was also pricy. There were no shampoos or soaps in the room and the day of the checkout a securiyt guard knocked on the door to make sure we were leaving. the site says 11am checkout but the signs in the hotel room are 10am. I'll never stay there again and don't recommend it whatsoever.

We stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms. The place is very nice with decent cable, comfy beds, mini fridge, toaster, microwave, and plates and such. Our unit didn't have a washer/dryer, but they have free ones on the property. There's also a nice rec area and since this place is a timeshare community there are events and movies and stuff. The pools were nice, but didn't have enough shade for my liking. I didn't really get to experience most of the stuff here since I was a the BNP Open. We mostly just slept here. Convenient location to everything. My biggest complaint was that check in is 4pm and check out is 10am and they MEAN 10am. We were told 6x that we had to be out by 10am or we would be charged. Then the morning of we received a phone call at 9am reminding is check out was 10am and a visit from a maid at 9:30am to verify we would be out by 10am.

The room was a surprise. From the description and picture we thought we were getting a different layout. The sofa bed, which we needed to use, was horrible. There was no padding from the springs and it was short as well. Light filtered in at night from the outside hall light and the shower had a high pitched screech. We arrived late and exhausted only to be awakened by the alarm at 5:30 am and by grounds crew and their machinery. That said, the location was perfect for our needs; the staff polite and helpful; the room would have been comfortable for single occupancy.

Couldn"t have been better!

Great service, very nice hotel room. Roomy and nice. Only complaints, bed was a little worn AND strict 10am checkout, while when we showed up at 4p, room wasn't ready.

the only inconvenience is a too early check out, by 10.00AM and they charge if you stay 1 more hour!!!!!

Our Villa 1 was in need of updating but clean and adequate would have liked a better view ! Villa 2 the room was more updated and had a great view ! It was nice having a fridge and small appliances helped with the stay. Great grounds beautiful everywhere look forward to another visit in the future

The room was nice looking, with a partial golf course view. I have only two complaints. The bed was very hard. We did not notice it until we tried to sleep. We both tossed and turned all night. My G/F is 5' 4" 120, and I am 6'2" 250. I'm usually sensitive about an uncomfortable bed, but she can sleep nearly anywhere, without a complaint. She had trouble sleeping on this bed. The 2nd complaint is it was very quiet, UNTIL another guest checked in next door. It was then that we noticed how thin the walls are. He checked in at 9:30p.m. and checked out at 4:45 a.m. We could hear the guy unpacking and moving out in the morning! Normal check in is 4p.m. with check out at 10a.m. We feel a 10a.m. check out is too early. For the price, the hotel (which are actually time share condos), do not match up. Lots of activities here, but we were looking for quiet, and not interested in activities.. We've stayed in 5 star places and 2 star places.For the price of the room, I would not stay here again.

We got a villa and were able to really relax on Christmas Eve and Christmas with our own kitchen and huge deck with views of the mountains and golf course. There were 6 pools to choose from and lots of fun activities! Great for families or couples!

This is a terrific facility, immaculately maintained; very quiet rooms; enjoyed the balconies and the other amenities.

We had a great stay! Very family friendly. The pools cater to children, my one year old had a blast. The picture frame in the bathroom was shattered, and the fridge wasn't working well. Overall, we had a great time.

every thing was great but less pictures in hotels.com and the check out time 10 am its not good at all..

The V illas were wonderful, very large and clean. The cleaning service was good and quick to bring in fresh towels. This is a great place for family stays, lovers, couples etc. if you want to stay in the mix request to stay in the "Main villas" especially if you have small children who may be invoved in the kids activities, this would be more convenient and closer. The place is huge and we were in the furthest villa away from everything. We worked out and the workout room was big enough to get it done. We loved our stay.

I walked into the villa and all of the chairs where on top of the tables. I suspect they had shampooed the carpets, but the place was not ready for guests. I was shocked at the mold and mildew in the shower stall, there was not just some in a corner but all in the grout of the floor. Very crudy for such a place of this reputation. I ate diner at the resort, which probably is not directly a part of the Villa's, but I suggest you bring your own food to cook since the adjoining resturant was not very good.

We were very pleasedd with our room It was clean and sat right on the golf course. My only negative was the pool was too far from our room Not real convenient with small children. I've been to other resorts that were more children friendly. I would recommend this to golfers.

Hotel was impressive at first sight, rooms and all facilities were very good. HOWEVER the sofa bed mattress is very thin and feels like sleeping on a bed of nails, So if there are more than two get a seperate room, or insist like we did on getting a better quality mattress. The third mattress produced was just about acceptable. All in all noy what we would expect from a Marriot Hotel,

Svært gode og romslige leiligheter i Palm Spring. Strålende utsik fra vår leilighet ut over golfbanen og fjellene. Mange bassengområder i komplekset - noe som ga oss stor valgfrihet. Gratis shuttle fra leiligheter til resten av komplekset - svært positivt. I tillegg hadde vi "verden beste shuttlesjåfør" - Rodger - noe som gjør et godt opphold enda bedre. Flere resturanter i nærheten og WallMart innen rekkevidde (med bil). I tillegg (selvfølgelig) både restauranter og barer på hotellområdet. Marriott Desert Spring Villas II kan anbefales dersom man ønsker er "rolig og varm" ferie.
