Easy beach access (Across A1A) & they let you take towels to the beach, but did not rent beach chairs/umbrellas. You can rent these (not cheaply! 2 chairs/1 umbrella for $44/day) separately. The pool is small & behind the hotel & I prefer to see the ocean (otherwise why fly to Florida?). The gym was fine. My room (1211) was near the service door & elevators & unfortunately the doors to the room are NOT sound proof so you could hear everything in the hall & actually you could hear music (the alarm clock?) in the room next door (very annoying) but this room was way more spacious than the rooms further out from the elevators (i.e. 1207, where my friends stayed and said the room was more quiet). The rooms do not have mini fridges/coffee pots, but there is a restaurant downstairs (B'Stro or something like that) where you can get breakfast (not cheap!) but the food was awesome (pancakes = awesome!), & they have free coffee to-go. The neighborhood is very limited, but there is a 7-11 2 blocks away (to buy snacks/beer/wine), but you'll likely have to cab it to go out (to Las Olas, etc.). Locally, McSorley's was a fun, low key place. We had drinks in my friend’s room one night & our ice bucket/glasses did not get cleaned or replaced when the room was cleaned... But, the bartenders at the pool/lobby bars were super friendly. Overall, it is a nice hotel - rooms were very clean, amenities were modern, etc. - I just think they need to work on sound proofing the rooms :)

I absolutely LOVED my stay at B Ocean. The minute I walked in, I decided that this would be where I stayed whenever I visit Fort Lauderdale Beach. The one complaint I would have is that they don't have a refrigerator, so if you wanted to bring in some refreshments from outside, there isn't a place to keep them cool

Over all a good experience. Stayed in the B enhanced suite with ocean view. Large comfortable rooms. Only con is that the bathrooms are very small. Only one person can fit at a time. Given all the space in these rooms, it's disappointing that no thought was put into making a larger bathroom during the renovationhs. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Beach is right across the street and walking distance to many other hotels and bars.

This hotel has one of the best nightly rates in south Florida. It is clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast was $$ but great. Amazing light airy rooms with great views.

Hotel was in the perfect location. With a primanti bros right next door was perfect. Thw view was amazing and hotel service was excellent. Get to the pool area and the pool is small 5ft deep fits 25 people. Chairs outside by the pool were filthy. Just expected more of a pool when your paying such a huge price. Also shower was amazing except the fact the water gets all over the bathroom floor needs a little remodeling so that when you shower you don't start a flood in your bathroom.

Great hotel, location, condition, comfort, service all top notch. Only knock and this is slight is the pool area being small and boxed in, would be nicer if it faced the beach or something else but is not really pheasable.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is in a very scenic spot near the beach and a state park.

We stayed at the B Ocean while in town visiting family. We LOVED the room-wide picture window looking out to the ocean. The staff was very accommodating. When we had an issue with guest noise, the night manager was apologetic and made amends. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the free coffee every morning was a plus.

Our stay was very good. The staff were excellent. Michael, Joe and Alaina (bartenders) were so friendly, helpful and courteous. They made our stay extra special. Thanks.

Perfect hotel for a getaway, directly across the street from the beach with multiple shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was professional & went above and beyond, hotel is modern chic with beautiful crisp white rooms. Can't wait to go back!

great place for the family

Beautiful lobby, very nice rooms, clean with a great view. Our room was right near the elevators so you could here them ding all night but other than that very comfortable. Excellent location...we happened to be there during the air show so we could see the whole thing from the front of the hotel. Sushi restaurant in hotel was excellent! Staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Pool was small and outdoor seating needed some help.

Nice hotel, great staff, and restaurant options. No in room coffee pots found, but could have been overlooked. Great view.

I was there on a business trip and it is so new and beautiful and the view was amazing. Got an upgrade to an suite without even asking. Amazing staff at reception. They were truly great. If you walk to the south then you are right at FLL main beach and restaurants. Very nice Hotel. Would recomend it certainly.

Overall I thought the hotel was very nice. It was kind of far from everything restaurants and bars. Long walk or can ride away. The rooms were nice except the beds were uncomfortable. Everyone working there was very friendly.

Clean, small. expensive. Food was good and service was fine. Other nicer hotels are close by with same or lower rates.

This was one of loudest hotels I have ever stayed at! There is little to no noise reduction from floor to floor. The gaps around the door let in not only light at night (so it is never dark), but every word spoken from either end of the corridor, can be heard. The staff is very nice though. We jad am upgraded room and truthfully, not even close to being worth what we spent. I feel this is only worth a 3 star max review! The location is the only thing that made this not a complete bust!

We loved our experience. No running for parking, mandatory valet parking was perfect. House keepers were great, rooms were clean but small. Hotel restaurant was affordable for a family of four but having surrounding resto was nice option wise. Would give the front desk staff A+. Overall great stay, will book it again.

All rooms OCEAN views which is lovely BUT when they say 4pm check-in..they mean it. We arrived at noon from our cruise and waited 4 hours to use the property.

B is the W's little brother trying to live up to the name. I think overall B is very successful in doing so. Minor critiques: no mini bar, no alcohol beverage room service, no in room coffee maker and poolside service is extremely understaffed and unaware. Otherwise a great experience and I'll be back my next trip to Ft. Lauderdale.

Hotel location is good,however, lack of cleanliness of the room, the room get's quickly ''cleaned''changing towels, even in spite of the fact that we told them so

I surprised my boyfriend with a mini-getaway for Valentine Day since we won't be able to celebrate the weekend of. Great location and great view of the beach. The bed was very comfortable and my boyfriend favor the shower very much. Right across the beach and minutes away from Downtown Las Olas and Riverfront. Only downfall is, none of the rooms have a refrigerator or a microwave which I found very odd because even the upscale hotels have those ammedenties. I will defintely come back again.

What a great stay! The staff were all courteous and friendly. The accommodations were excellent and the view of the ocean was delightful. There was easy access to the beach, great restaurants, the marinas and other local sites. I plan to stay there again in the future and would recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.

It was a great weekend at a beautiful oceanfront hotel room. Service was amazing, prices were a bit spendy, but affordable!!!! Cleanliness of the room was great, sheet set and comforter was white as a coconut and smell so downy, amenities were diverse....

Check in took forever even the bellhop gave up and helped someone else. Valet was a joke, you can't call ahead for your car, you have to wait. One afternoon we waited 30 minutes by the pool for a bartender to show up. Room was never fully cleaned and items were not replenished. B disappointed!

No frigobar thats disgusting, no cofee machine, beds too small, i was with my husband and 2 kids beds too small.No microwave.No mum´s place to prepare milk and wash botlle milk.This hotel i do not recomend for those who have kids.Restaurant bistro no kids meal

Everything about our stay was perfect! I cannot think of one thing I would complain about!

We would go back to stay again in the future. The only issue was the hair on the bathroom floor which they came to clean as soon as we complained. Although not related to the hotel, avoid the pizza place on the corner. My husband got food poisoning when he ate their breakfast sandwich. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. They helped us find a deal to rent a car for the day to go shopping at the sawgrass mall, which was a full day excursion. We went deap sea fishing thanks to a suggestion from the hotel. I caught a silk shark which was really cool. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay and view. Valet parking is $25 and is the only option and there is no coffee in the room. The hotel is contemporary but comfortable.

Staff very friendly and valet guys are great. Our room was sleek clean and modern. They suggested we upgrade to a room with the floor to celing windows, so we did. From the second floor though, We had a view of a deck and some palm trees and kind of through that the ocean. Wish I would have known to request a room on a higher floor for a better view, or just stuck with a 'normal' room

Hotel staff is very friendly. I stayed one night. It's just a few feet from the beach but a pretty far walk from the main strip with shops and such. There's a shuttle services (outside company) for $3/way that comes by occasionally. My chief complaints were the bathroom wall has a smoked glass panel that faces the beds. Lights on in the bathroom it illuminates the whole room. Staying with several girls in one room this became disruptive to sleep. Walls are thin as well you can hear traffic if your a light sleeper. Pool is small but really nice. Over all I would go back again.

We loved everything but one thing... there is absolutely no parking and there's a (mandatory) $25 valet...+ tip. I didn't see anything about this and that was a big bummer...

PRO: The hotel was clean, updated & beautifully situated on the ocean. CON: Staff has little if any people skills, from the valet to front desk to concierge to operator. Visit1: we stayed in a room at the end of a hall. About 2AM, "someone" went out the emergency door, setting off an extremely offensive alarm that took the staff 15 mins to turn off. An hour+ later a bunch of loud drunk college kids were running up and down the halls before setting off that alarm again! Visit 2: we flew in about 9:30pm, got to the hotel by 10:15pm, exhausted! Unfortunately, as with first visit, a group of loud, drunk youngsters were up and down the hall about 3:45AM, then "someone" pulled the fire alarm a little while later! We walked down from the 9th floor to outside the front of the bldg., where NOBODY from the staff addressed the guest;, no police or fire dept's showed up; 5 mins later people started walking into the lobby, heading back to their rooms. Thinking that the worst was behind us, I later tried to order breakfast: coffee, tea, 2 juices, pancakes with ham, and a fruit platter. Not a crazy order, right?! It took over an hour and 4 visits from room service to get the order right! After "breakfast" we called valet to bring our car up through the valet and that took 30 mins. In a relatively empty hotel...go figure! Anyway, we surrender... No more!!!

It's not often we find a hotel that lives up to it's online description, so we were happy. We reserved a "stunning view" room, but was given something else. Good thing the reservation print out said "stunning" in the room description so we had no problems changing our room to what we paid for. Other than that little mistake everything else was smooth. The view was nice. We stayed in 912 which looked right at the beach/ocean. The hotel is actually not directly on the beach - it's across the street from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the linen soft and white. The bath towels could use upgrading, but the hand towels and washcloths were plush. The carpeting was ok - no visible stains. There is a desk for working, ironing board, iron and a safe. The t.v. was flat-screen about 42-46" - so very nice. There is no refrigerator in the room - a small one would be nice. Also, would have liked to have an extra sitting chair - for families with more than 2 people who like to dine in - that way someone doesn't have to stand or sit on the bed to eat. Vending machines (I only saw soda/juice machines) are on the even floors. The parking fee for overnight stay is really very expensive at $25/day. Room service was also somewhat expensive. Breakfast for 3 avg around $65 w/room service fee and gratuity added. Primanti Bros. is an off-premise restaurant that is open late (we arrived after 1:30am) and makes the best veggie pizza we've ever had anywhere.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Loved the valet guys, fun but so professional. The only problem we had was that our room wasn't really cleaned well daily, mostly just made the bed and emptied trash. No vacumn or disposal of glasses we utilized. The other was that since we were on vacation, we were out and about all day and into the late hours. Tried sleeping in at least past 7 but the housekeeping staff were very noisy. They talked loud in the hallway.
