Executive Room not very executive. Showere didn't work properly Breakfast over priced. Staff friendly

Excellent hotel . I would highly recommend it to anyone. Staff were very friendly and helpful regardig directions etc. Food was lovely as well.

The Stormont hotel is a bit out of town (about 5km) but free parking onsite is a bonus and a taxi ride into the city centre is reasonable and quick. Situated across the road from Stormont Government Building which is quite impressive (didn't get to walk the grounds but looks lovely). Staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. (we were there for Titanic centenary weekend). The bar is very nice for a pre or post dinner drink. Would recommend going further afield for dining though as we didn't rate the food in the La Scala Bistro in the hotel. Found a great restaurant on Saturday night just 5 mins away towards town on Upr Newtownards Road called Aldens. Super food and service. Hotel Reception are excellent and will help in trying to arrange reservations or recommendations. Hotel is in a good location (even if not central) and great staff and I would stay there again.

For an executive room, this room had poor facilities. I was looking forward to a nice relaxing bath, but the bathroom was so small as to be claustraphobic. The bedside radio didn't work, which was a pain as I much prefer listening to music than watching TV. But this is just as well, as the TV choice was severely limited. Room service was prompt, but the food was just ok. The bed was very comfy, though. So, not a place I would stay again

Very helpful staff who provided map and directions for my onward journey- and loan of a phone charger for my ancient Nokia! Excellent service at this hote,l which is in a very convenient location

This review is a little biased as I have to confess that the Stormont is our favourite belfast hotel. Although we have occasionally stayed at others we always return to the Stormont where we always receive the very best of service and accommodation. This stay was no different, on arrival we noticed the shower in our room was not working and we immediately received apologies from staff and were moved to a superior room. The free parking is a great advantage, and the hotel restaurant offers quality food and service at a reasonable price. Staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

My partner whom works and lives in Edinburgh came over for four days so I decided to take here to the Stormont Hotel were we could have some peace from ringing phones and unwelcome callers. I haven't been to the Stormont in years and was presently surprised. The main entrance was lovely, modern but welcoming with excellent service from the staff. The room was on the third floor facing the car park and rear of the hotel, though we didn't have the view of Stormont Buildings which some tourists might want I believe this room was better as your not over looking the busy main road so noise was at a minimum. The bed or beds which I thought in a double room would have been one double not two queen beds pulled together at first was a appointment but that night we found wonderfully comfortable and loads of space to stretch out without noticing the join. So thumbs up. The hotel bar can be very busy at the weekend due to lots of wedding parties and its small size but the service is excellent and the staff are more than helpful. Though we were room only we didn't eat in the hotel as only a half mile down the road there are many cafes and places for breakfast cheaper than the hotel. All in all a very good hotel on a major route into Belfast and a minutes walk from the grounds of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

All fine, apart from over priced reakfast at £13, suggest bring your own, other wise lovely hotel but down town still sadly bears the marks of the troubles.

I've stayed before and loved the Stormont but it was totally unbearable this time around and I'd never go back. My room hadn't been cleaned properly as there were some charming 'remnants' of the previous guests left for me and as there were parties and/or weddings on the nights I stayed the music was at concert pitch until 1am, followed by hours of drunk guests racing up and down the corridors screaming and crying just for fun. Outside the bedroom windows (which faced the party room) people were fighting (actually properly fist fighting), singing until all hours and having themselves a jolly old time, whilst those of us who weren't part of the festivities laid in bed wondering why we'd paid money to be kept awake until the early hours in a dirty bedroom. As with any large 'event' hotel it's a toss up between who they want to keep happy - the people bankrolling the parties and weddings or the people who pay to stay overnight. The Stormont 100% chooses those with the parties. I complained during my stay and when I was leaving and just got a sigh/shrug of the shoulders. They don't reply to letters either. There's a lot to be said for cheaper chain hotels because their key business is overnight guests and so you don't have to suffer discos that go on into the next morning and the total disregard for you like you do at the Stormont. Your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

the hotel looks nice, 5minutes driving from city airport, the neighbour hood is nice, parlament is 2 minutes walk away, we just had a nice walk in the morning there. apart from a bit far away from city centre, everything is nice.

Stayed at the Stormont midweek tues oct 11. Hotel was quiet and since I last stayed there 3 years ago looks like its all been refurbished and very clean and tidy. The room was superb with a hugh comfortable bed and breakfast pleasant. No problems and would stay again next time and like everyone else took home a duck!!

Found the hotel great, in a nice location opposite Stormont which also has a park around it, so was very handy for taking a walk in the evening. Also, just a short taxi ride from the city center location we were visiting. Also, live music playing in the reception as we entered was a nice touch.

This hotel is very comfortable. However, when I was there only a few TV channels worked (e.g. no UTV / ITV etc.). Internet is not free. The breakfast is £ 16.00 which is a bit expensive considering that the buffet is not as good as other hotels nearby. Service in the restaurant was poor because of a large bus tour.

Great hotel with very comfortable rooms but I found the dinner was very expensive at £40 and £20 for a bottle of house wine. I was also very disappointed with the breakfast. I had to ask for a fried egg for my cooked breakfast and the selection of food was very poor.

Stormont hotel is right next to the park, which makes a pleasant walk. Not much else within walking distance close by. Rooms are very good and comfortable. Staff friendly and a nice lobby for relaxing. Breakfast is a bit pricey if not incl in room rate.

Hotel and Staff exceptional - nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant Manager and staff very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. A pleasure to stay in this hotel, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Belfast

Was rather taken aback with the price of breakfast and the food in the resturant/bistro (only choice of one). Quality good, but portions smallest I have had anywhere. Hotel smart and staff nice. Unfortuantely the bedroom window was open on our arrival...in the snow! Turned on the heater for a while and eventually warmed up. However, even after turning the heater off, some sort of stifling heat came on in the night and sweltered us. Both myself and my husband had very sore throats in the morning due to this and woke several times in the night, though the beds were very comfortable.

everything and more that you could wish for. A wonderful hotel, everything perfect from booking to departure. The room excellent , stylish, suburbly comfortable and the bed was heaven. I can highly recommend this hotel . Wonderful stay.

This is a gorgeous hotel, right next door to Stormont. It's extremely comfortable the staff are friendly and the rooms are lovely. It's a little bit outside the city but a taxi is less than £10 and the hotel rates are more competitive than whats available in the city.

All good except breakfast finished relatively early at 10:30

The room prices were very reasonable, but dinner, and drinks made up for that. We weren't used to everything closing early, and for the price of dinner there were a few wrong items and what not. The hotel staff was very help, and went out of their way to help us find food after everything was closed.

The Stormont hotelis is reakky well situated with easy access to anywhere you would want to go in Belfast. Love being able to park my car right at the hotel. Hotel is bright, modern and very welcoming. Just as you enter the hotel their is a lovely lounge with a great fire for cold days. Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is any trouble to them. Currently, all the bedrooms are getting a face lift (not that they really needed it) I just wish they would leave some of the rooms with baths. I will certainly be back and would highly recoomend this hotel

L'hôtel est très plaisant, bien que le long d'une route très passante, les fenêtres isolent bien du bruit. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables, avec une belle décoration. La salle de bain est moderne, bien que sans baignoire pour certaine chambres. Le petit déjeuner est moyen.
