The surrounding is a bit scaring.

The hotel was run down and the blankets had burn holes in them and it was a non smoking room.

People were very friendly, Room was very clean, Hotel was close to Newport News. We tried to book in City Center to be close to CNU but glad we got here insted.

This hotel was much better than I expected for the price. I have stayed in better but I have also stayed in much worse, but this one was great. It was nice and close to Fort Eustis, the mall, and not too bad of a drive to Bass Pro or the beach, either. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a small hole in our shower curtain, but no water got out and so it wasn't really a big deal. Overall a great place; I would definitely stay again!

Great staff, clean room. Facility is old but the price is right!

This hotel was better than the one we had been staying out not far from this location. The room was clean, the staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast bar didn't offer much selection was OK. Parking lot could use better lighting. It was obvious hotel is going under renovation by dumpster in parking lot but was not affected by this during our stay.

Very comfortable and convenient

I always stay here when I am in town. It is convenient and staff is great.

Room was clean and comfortable. We were supplied with a more-than-adequate night's supply of shampoo and soap, which isn't always the case! Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast wasn't too bad, and was included in the stay.

Close to my family so it is very convenient. The free breakfast could be better but there is a cheap restaurant and an I-Hop not to far away. Overall, good experience.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I arrived early and they were able to accomdate my needs. Employee personal was very friendly and good with people.

Dirty sheets, dirty floors, hard mattresses, dirty bathroom. The in-room safe wouldn't even close. The TV was too big for the cabinet it was in, so it cut off an inch from the top. And worst of all, there was always a bum walking outside my room with a cup asking for money. One morning I woke up and opened the curtains to see him right there, staring at my face. Even the complimentary breakfast was horrible. Would never stay at a Days Inn ever again.

I was so happy that we decided to stay there again. What is cool about this place is if you get the first level, you can practically park outside your room. This sure makes loading and unloading so much easier. The staff was excellent as usual. I would definitely stay there again. For the price, it is the best deal. You even get free breakfast. We went to the Outlets Labor Day weekend, bumped into friends at Busch Gardens and even tried out the Go-Karts Plus.

The room was nice and clean some parts were dusty and looked like they have been used and the room smelled like smoke but overall my stay was good

Our first time staying at the Days Inn, I found that the specific room that was assigned to us was somewhat small. However, the next day I manage to speak to the clerk, who's was extremely professional, attentive and showed me the perfect room, we moved in immedidately at no extra cost. The rooms were kept cleaned, very good quality of service, hotel staff were very accommodating. Continental breakfast was satisfactory.Overall we had no complains at all. I would recommend it!!

Our room wasn't really as bad as others had posted. But if there is one thing in life I've learned. If you don't like what you see, speak up about it. The staff was outstanding, courteous, and very professional. The refrigerator, and microwave were great! We liked it so much that we're coming back down there to stay for another weekend. I must say, most hotels we've stayed at do nothing if you cannot connect to the wi-fi. I called the front desk, they rebooted the router, and I was online within minutes. Other hotels, make up some excuse about it and claim they cannot do anything to fix it until the morning. Or they make some BS, about coming to the lobby to try to connect there. The free breakfast was great! I really cannot complain. Yes the place is old, but if you are touring Williamsburg, going to Busch Gardens, etc. it is about 15 or 20 minutes away to the Outlets. I'll be sure to post another review after our next stay. I'm really looking forward to going again.

Easy interstate access.

Overall it was okay! Not far from the job. The surrounding area seemed okay. Plenty of restaurants locally! Had a problem with a toilet, they really never fixed, but I figured it out! They tried though! Overall, it was good!

Staff has an unhappy face. Got no Wi-Fi connection in the room. Old and not very clean.

i would have been able to have a better time there but on my family and my way we got stuck behind a burning bus . the hwy was shut down for hrs. did not make it to the hotel till the next morning , so I called the hotel to let them know and i was still charged for a room for a whole night that i was not even checked into . the only thing I would have wished for is maybe they fixed it so that we would have been able to stay and extra night or something . but i was not able to stay for the time that it was booked for. only one night and that was it . the trip was a 21 hr trip one one. and it took us about a full day to get there instead .

Whenever I stay at this particular hotel, I never have any problems.

Would rather have spent more money to stay someplace Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room was what was expected. The bathroom was a little aged and the shower curtain needed to be replaced.

The price was certainly right for this hotel room, but the room was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Immediately upon entering the room it was obvious that it was a smoking room(or someone had been smoking in it...which the bedspread had ash burns on it). We did not say anything because it was 11:30pm and everyone was tired. Also, we did not have enough towels for everyone, so a trip to the front desk was made to get these. The continental breakfast was very limited..and the worst thing- No coffee! Checking in was very easy and checking out was super easy...that was nice!

Well, we got here late and checked in. The hotel staff was very friendly everytime I talked to one of them. Helpful too in everything we asked. However, the air conditioner in our room did not work the first night. They offered to change my room but the delay was so great that at 11:30pm I was too tired to move. So in the middle of the night the air started working and we decided to stay in the room for the next day. But the air kept going in and out and we finally moved to another room. They were very accomodative. The neighborhood is not bad and its very convenient to many things. I would stay here again.

the pool was cute - but NO WAY to get in or out of it- no stairs or ladder or anything! i was very disappointed - i booked because of the pic of the pool.The Air Conditioner did not work - the room had been painted - that day i think - the smell was very strong - and with no AC - it was really stuffy!!! the breakfast was extremely plain but i guess we did not starve - The desk clerk in the afternoon and in the morning were both friendly and helpful but not very knowledgeable about the area - although they tried. all in all i would not recommend this Hotel to my friends - Sorry

Very poor experience, the front-desk staff were nice, but the hotel was run down and "old". Bad neighborhood, did not feel comfortable staying there as a single woman alone. Couldn't get the internet to work - front-desk tried, but they couldn't help either. Never could get on-line. Very frustrating!!

hotel staff was very nice, room was clean I bought my dog plentyof spac to walk dog and other people had dogs would definietely stay there again.

very pleasant front staff; pool seemed nice; decent breakfast; overall pleased & would stay again

Very nice. Do not miss the Maritime museum with the uss monitor. A little known museum that is a must see. The Hotel was good enough. But the breakfast was very limited. But right across the parking lot is a restaurant with breakfast.
