Sunset Station Hotel & Casino - هندرسون

It was fine. I understand that most standard room hotel/casinoes don't offer certain convenient amenities (i.e. fridge, microwave, flatscreen tv's, etc...) but no coffee maker - I think Sunset can afford to provide that option. Maybe it was just our room? Hmmm. Also, not a fan of Resort Fees. Normally we'd stay at South Point. Lastly, there isn't much of a selection for room service. Overall it isn't horrible.

The rooms were nice, but there was a concert going on in the amphitheater and it boomed all the way to my room on the 17th floor. Parking sucked for my motorcycle.

Overall this was a very nice stay........I wished I had checked the concert schedule first before I went; I would have loved to have seen Staind there, darnit! The only down was at the buffet, service was not good there.

Love the hotel. I think it is sneaky to charge "resort fee" ($16/night).

Loved my stay there. The staff was super helpful and courteous. I went to go see a concert and it was super covenient. The rooms were comfy and the resteraunts were very yummy. I'd totally stay there again!

Overall, an excellent experience. Numerous in-house restaurants serving good food made it unnecessary to travel outside of the property. The room (king sized bed) was a bit cramped and only a small round table was available for our laptop and other gadgets. The TV was an older analog set, which was adequate. The surrounding area included Costco, Walmart, Best Buy, and dozens of other popular stores. The non-optional room amenity fee was pretty hefty and it appeared internet accessibility would cost even more. Sign on instructions discussed a fee, which I asked the front desk about. They said the charge was included in the amenity fee and I would not be billed. The "Feast Buffet" lived up to its name, although the lines were slow and long at times. The pool looked huge, but it was no deeper than about 3.5 feet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The 72-lane bowling alley looked very nice although we did not bowl. We will probably stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. Only wished I had time to try out the pool area.

A nice place to stay. Has everything you need close by. Food was great. Need to try the fare at the oyster bar. Our stay was uneventful in terms of the hotel which was a good thing. I would stay there again.

This was a very clean and quite hotel. Close enough to the Las Vegas strip without having to pay the price. Casino was very clean with all the same gaomng action as on the Vegas Strip.

This hotel is too smokey. There is no jacuzzi and the pool hours are too short. Otherwise, the room and hotel are clean and the service was adequate.

Had an excellent time everything I wanted was in the neighborhood.

Will be back.

I felt it was a bait and switch. I booked a room with two queen beds. I was told upon arrival, the only room available to me was a room with a king bed. Not exactly what I anticipated...It did not help the (manager at least he introduced himself as a manager) inidcated we could have a cott - and he would not charge us for it! Sorry, to say, I was dissapointed in his demeanor and for the inconvenience.

The hotel was all around fun! there was so much to do, very convenient, lots of restaurants inside as well as walking distance from stores and a ton of other restaurants, you could literally stay at the hotel for a total vacation and not have to leave. The rooms are clean and quiet and definitely served the purpose! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

great except pool could have stayed open later

We have stayed at this hotel before about seven years ago and enjoyed it as much this time as before. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. We liked that it had something for the kids to do as well as adults.

The rooms were quiet and clean. The hallways were clean and the food was good. Nice casino and away from the hectic Strip.

Everything was great except for having to walk completely to the end of the building for the elevator to the rooms and then back again once you exited on your floor.

Stayed in the king suite and it really was just that...fit for a king. Over 1100 square feet with jacuzzi tub and walk in shower with marble tile and glass enclosure. Two sinks (his/hers), full marble bar, two LCD TV's, full queen size pull out sofa, two bathrooms, and more. What a great way to pamper yourself for a day or two. I wish we could have stayed another day but business can't wait and dropping several hundred at the BJ tables didn't make it any easier either. Overall, highly recommended and great value for the $$$.

Good stay, they up grade us to JR Suite, problem was it was Smoking Room, had to switch to Non Smoking Room front desk manager took care of it for us.

A great hotel and casino if you want some place not near the strip. The rooms are comfortable and the casino is fun. The employees are very friendly.

We were very happy with the overall experiance of this hotel. However 2 things we wish were different. The pool is not heated. The water was freezing. But the area surrounding it was beautiful. The rooms do not include a coffee maker which is inconvenient. It would be so nice to make a cup of coffee in the room before coming downstairs each day.

I left very frustrated after my 3 day stay. The hotel was nice, my room was clean but the walls were paper thin which offered no tranquility for down time. Not to mention the kids that ran up and down the halls un-supervised all night till their parents returned to their room. Needless to say I got ZERO slep, and yes some of us go to Casino's on business and expect enough privacy/quiet to sleep. Upon checkout I was met with aminity fees of which I was not educated on nor used. Overall my experince was poor. Not sure I would stay there again.

This place is not only clean and well kept, but you also get a great casino that is much less congested than the Strip casinos. I will stay here again. This place may have the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on as well as the best pillows I have ever had anywhere. They actually give you a Queen size pillow instead of one of the useless small pillows. Highly recommended.

I loved the hotel very clean and very professional.

Very nice Hotel, nice cafe in the Hotel. I really liked the mall right across the street and the freeway is so handy. Would recomend it to my friends.

I was very happy with the room, I found it very roomy and the pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was relatively quite for a casino room. Had a very nice pool but unfortunately did not get to enjoy it as much as would've liked due to it being very windy during my stay. Also very conveniently had a nice theatre inside with all first run movies. A bit far from the strip but I didn't mind. Think I will try their services again on my next stay.

Fantastic service. Fantastic rooms. Fantastic people. In short my stay was FANTASTIC!

What a great place to stay, the only minor problem was the POOL schedule, it was closed on Monday and Wednesday. Not good for people that come from the snow area's. we were looking for some SUN by the pool and the one day we did get to enjoy the pool, we found out it's not heated. Very minor, the stay was GREAT at Sunset Station we will go back again.........................

We love this hotel it is comfortable and close to a lot of good restaurants and shopping. The hotel's buffet is great and we usually do not like buffets, the only thing that I did not like was the wait in line for the buffet, they needed more cashiers and they would wait on the customers that were the big gamblers first. The cafe is excellant, very good and very reasonable. We go every year and always enjoy our stay.

Surprisingly pleased with our stay at the Sunset Hotel. The rooms are large and spacious and the beds very comfortable. Plenty of shops in the surrounding area within walking distance.

Great 5 night stay at Sunset Station! We attend the Monster Truck Finals every year & this hotel is close to the staduim & shopping!! The kids always enjoy the food, bowling & arcades that this hotel offers. The price is always a good value. Can't wait till next time!!

I have stayed at this hotel a lot. The rooms are usually great. This time however I was put on the 5th floor, what a downgrade. Traveling for business I use the iron and board a lot, on the 5th floor iron is connected to the board like you are in prison. Also I suggest getting a new room as soon as you notice a shared room door, these things are as thick as parchment paper, I heard neighbor's alarm clock and all of their discussions. This was terrible on top of that the shared door was not deadbolted, room neighbors could have pushed door open with their breath to gain access to my personal belongings. This is a great hotel for the most part, 5th floor was a different class however... Disappointed.

This is the 4th year we have stayed at the Sunset Station during the NASCAR weekend (Wed thru Sun). Everything was great as usual, except that the hot water was VERY sparse in the mornings. We submitted a complaint to the desk, but did not hear back before departing. The service in the Grand Cafe was terrible in the early evening. The reply given at the cashier was "not enough kitchen people".

Good location away from the buzz of Vegas. We received both free buffet breakfasts and internet service, as we were international travelers.

We love having the Starbucks down in the Casino and its convenient location when we are visiting relatives living in Henderson. The room and bed was very comfortable.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was large and very clean. We look forward to returning to this hotel.
