Quality Inn Somerset - سومرسيت

Cons-The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Had burn holes in my bedspread. Dirty Qtips left on top of toilet. Pros- The rooms were large. My son loved the pool. They had a complimentary breakfast (didn't try it though it ended at 9am). Tea, coffee, hot chocolate was offered in the lobby at all times. Location convenient and the hotel was well secured. I stayed there because I was without power for 4 days and the house was too cold.

I was disappointed that my non-smoking room smelled of nothing but cigarette smoke. I asked to switch rooms and the manager had no problem but the next smelled almost as bad. I was very disappointed.

Hotel staff were nice but cleanliness of the room was an issue, especially for my girlfriend. Obvious cobwebs and some random stains on the floor made for some interesting speculation about what usually goes on in the rooms. This is a late 70's/early 80's hotel that I don't believe has been updated much since original construction. Fixtures in the bathroom weren't properly installed (visible gab between sink and counter), but the hot water was consistent and the shower experience was pretty good. Overall, not bad if you just want to sleep there, but if you are a stickler for cleanliness (or the appearance thereof) look elsewhere.

All I needed was a bed and shower for one night. This was fine, except that the room smelled of cigarette smoke--in a non-smoking room. The hotel was full so I could not be moved to a different room. The staff brought air freshener.

Walls are thin, could hear neighbors on one side getting busy, other side they were arguing. Free wi-fi was very hard to get onto. Room wasn't very clean. AC needs to be cleaned, dusty and dirty. Would not recommend staying here.

Hotel was very clean and I was very happy with the accommodations. Was perfect for an overnight stay.

I love the Quality Inn at Somerset, MA. I have stayed there many times and the room is always clean, the breakfast is great, the pool sparkling clear, and the staff are cheerful and helpful. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. Donna C.

A very old and out of shape hotel. Executive Wing is worse than main part. No reason to stay there except for the proximity to Fall River.

staff was good but the elements were horriable drugs in the back lot, the surrounding area was very scary and shady. The people that were living there were rude and loud. Not a place I would recomend.

plan on staying there again, good location easy to get to Boston, Plymouth and R.I. is across the bridge

I liked the hotel pool and the room was clean and neat. The people at the desk were helpful and polite. It was convenient location. I will stay here again.

As soon as we entered the (executive) building, we smelled cigarette smoke. We had to cover our nose everytime we enter the building as the smell was so strong. The carpet in our room seems to be dusty, as well. The positive side was the breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the hotel itself was worn down and old. Hard to beat the price, but don't expect too much. The room was cleanish, but definitely needed some remodeling. Good for a quick trip, but not much more. By the way, you have a great view of the nuclear powerplant.

The hotel location was the best part, close to all highways and less than 15 from Providence downtown. Other than that, experience was not great. They didnt even have drinking water in the room, and also didnt have the mugs, glasses cleaned. When i called and asked for water, the answer I got was sorry!! and to get it from a vending machine or a grocery store.

By far the best motel we stayed in during our 2 week tour of New England.

It was good and we would consider staying there again.

The beds were very comfortable, staff was very willing to go above and beyond to help us (we were traveling overnight and needed to book for an early morning check in on a busy summer weekend). Back part of hotel had musty smell, requested room change, got moved to front of hotel to a much nicer, cleaner room. Overall, for an inexpensive hotel, I would say A+ staff, great beds, needs an overhaul in the back portion.

We arrived at 9:30 pm. The woman at the counter had no personality and acted as if she hated her job. I was told to drive to the back to the executive building. The lot back there was poorly lit and there were all sorts of odd characters milling about at all hours. It felt unsafe. The room, although it was roomy, the drapes were practically falling off of the rods, the window seal was broken, the sheets were threadbare and the carpeting looked dirty. The amount that I spent on that room was way too much. Sorry, but the word quality was not taken seriously here!

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful! I am grateful that they helped me out when I realized I had left a bag behind upon checking out--they located the bag and I was able to pick it up shortly therafter. Great service! The hot breakfast was also tasty!

We were just staying overnight and need a place to lay our heads. Had two kids and our dog, so were limited in choices. The hotel worked out well. We got in late. Were able to get a bit of food from next door at Jillians take out and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk check in was trying to make the process more difficult than it needed to be but was fine. Didn't have the breakfast as we hit the pool quick and then got on the road. Facility looked nice for a more extended stay. Simple, non elegant and comfortable. On the front staff, she was giving me a hard time about the dog. i specifically called the day before, confirmed our reservation for a late arrival and confirmed the hotel pet policy as we were travelling with our family dog. Was told we were all set. Then we got a bit of a hard time about what room they had us in now that we had a dog. Made it seem like walking with our dog down a set of stairs and 50 feet down a hall way to get to the courtyard was some big deal. Anyhow like i said was fine. Just wish if you are pet friendly, you'd be a bit friendlier about it.

Good overall. Desk could have been nicer. They need towels at pool.

Even though it was not a new hotel it was excellent. Wonderful customer service, awesome to have a hot breakfast included. Staff responeded to any needs immediately and made the Christmas Holiday nice. This was my second time there and when visiting again will definately stay with them again.

Very comfortable though I wish i could have used the pool. There is a wonderful restaurant next door that was packed. The breakfast in the morning was more than cereal which was refreshing. Will definitely stay there again. Just over the the bridge in Somerset from Fall River.Perfect location.

The hotel was not particularly clean. The hallways smelled like smoke. We reserved a non-smoking room, but our room smelled badly of cigarette smoke. The light in the bathroom didn't work. Overall, it was not a great experience.

This was just an okay hotel. The screen to the slider fell off as soon as we touched it. The room we had needed to be updated. The carpet was worn. The refrigerator and microwave were old. The pool was excellent although they were no towels available in the pool area. The breakfast buffet was great. Very pleasant staff.

The staff was very helpful and friendly; however, the hallways and room had a terrible odor of smoke. The windows didn't open so there was no way to get fresh air in to the room. The mattress was old and the pillows were awful!!!! The breakfast room was dark with no windows---a quite uninviting way to begin the day.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! Dirty, smelly and expensive! Don't stay here!

For the price we paid to stay here, I was very very happy with the room, amenities and staff. Great value. Hot breakfast, pool, fitness center, outdoor activities... yeah, it's not a four star hotel, but for guests traveling on a budget, it's hard to beat this one. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't expect to be treated like a princess.

The staff and people at the hotel are great and the breakfast is one of the best contential breakfast I have ever had.

The hotel was adequate but not worth the amount charged for the room. It's a little old and tired. The towels were paper thin and the configuaration of the bathroom which was a handicap one(not needed) was not convenient. However we did have to call maintence for a lamp fixture problem and he reponded very quickly and solved the problem.

It's gone downhill. Beds were really uncomfortable. Said they were queen size, but smallest queen we've ever seen, Pillows were bad too. Spend the extra $50 and stay at the new Holiday Inn Express in nearby Somerset (about 1 mile away)..

The entrance for the rooms was not clean. The carpet had better days ... The bathroom in our room was a pity...and I didn't take off my because the carpet was not clean. Will never go back there...

I liked the location, quality, and food etc. even if I just stayed one day.
