Hotel room was very rusted! The rooms need a complete renovation! Breakfast was horrible!

Hotel was GREAT...a little out dated but had everything we needed

Good hotel. Staff was helpful. But they forgot to clean our room one day, we told them about it, and they really could have cared less. We stayed for 3 nights.

he location of this hotel was better than we hoped for. It was so close to the center of all things everyone wanted to do. It was like a hotel inside a cornocopia of activities: ranging from basic needs such as eating & gas to all types of specialty stores. There was more than plenty of things to do & seee to keep he kids interested (& I took 5 kids; ages 6- 14). It was in a location close to everything, but out ofthe combustionof it all. The rooms were spacious enough (for a wheel- chair to get around). We had adjoining rooms, because of kids forgetful to close doors. That made the stay more pleasant. The neighborhood was pleasing. Hotel staff was efficient & friendly. I would choose this hotel in the future.

Staff was very friendly.

There were crumbs on the table and bed when we entered the room. The beds slanted down hill. The hotel boasts being closest to the Casino when in fact I think it was one of the ones furthest away. Would not recommend this to anyone.

All of the staff were very nice and helpful. Had information regarding bus schedules and restaurant recommendations. Housekeeping staff was great!

Our stay was great. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is really close to the border and very easy to get to the outlet shopping centre. The hotel has a pool which is great and also has a lifeguard on duty which most hotels don't have. This hotel offered a Continental Breakfast which I took advantage of. It also had a fridge & microwave in the room so when you had leftovers from dinner you could keep and heat up for a late night snack. The staff were very helpful when having any questions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Check-i & check out were efficient. The hotel was quiet at night. Very close to the falls & casino. I hadthe American side of the falls to myself at 7:00 am on Sunday.

This hotel was very convenient and close to everything. We went on the off season so the tourist things were not open but in the summer would be an amazing hotel to stay at as it is located within walking distance to everything, the falls, the State park, the Casino, boarder etc.

Very friendly and accomidating .. we will return to this hotel.

Whatever the hotel is giving in the price i paid was unexpected. I had a bad experience of stay with howard johnson in new jersey and when i booked this hotel again my wife and my daughter was annoyed but this hotel changed the whole view. thank u for being so hoapital. thank you guys

NOT close to the casino(About a 2 block walk-not fun in the wintertime) NOT clean the beds were HORRIBLY uncomfortable and old, oh BTW-1970 called, they want their hotel bathroom back. YUCK!

This hotel makes you feel dirty just walking into it.... It was very close to the falls but that is the ONLY positive! I'm just glad that we only had to stay one night!

Convenient location, only minutes to the Rainbow Bridge and Seneca Casino. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel itself needs some updating - beds saggy and soft, carpets a bit old and thin, sinks and faucets were stained and rusted. Otherwise, great location if you want to enjoy the Falls, or walk to the casino or do some outlet shopping.

Room was big and clean. Hotel is in a great spot to be able to walk to the falls. The guy at the front desk was nice, but the breakfast was a little skimpy. I'd stay there again.

Had to be in the USA for a Visa renewal for 24 hours. HJ served its purpose just fine for the price and went beyond in terms of friendliness of the staff. Was also surprised that we were offered breakfast even though our reservation said it was not included. Pool was small but a nice feature. Again, not complaining for the price!!!

We paid a little extra so we could get a hotel with an indoor pool... AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT! Pool was nice and warm. Hotel was a quick turn and another turn from the border entry. Pretty close to the Fashion Outlet Mall. Nice view at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was okay... Muffins, danishes, toast, cereal, apples and oranges. (bananas would have been nice and the oranges didn't look great). Coffee, tea, orange & apple juice. (hot chocolate was not working) Friendly staff and check-in was quick.

During our 3 night stay at the hotel was very satisfying. Breakfast was good. It was close to the place where we planned to go. However, the hotel elevator needs attention. The elevator door was noisy and loud when it closed. The shower was not so perfect, but for the amount we have paid at that time, it was ok.

everything is good , only the bed is too soft to me.

If you are looking for a clean and inexpensive hotel to do your shopping, like we did, this is a great place. Came with another family and Tom, from reservations gave us conecting rooms wgich was great for the kids. Clean room, clean bathroom and super convenient location!!!

Overall room smelled musty, said heated pool and it was not. It goad a large heater on the ceiling. You had to drive everywhere. However it's 3 minutes from the boarder

This howard johnson had an okay room with all the basic necessities for a quick trip. It was very close to the Canada border, the only problem was that the NY side was a ghost town. Everything near the hotel was closed I had to eat vending machine food two nights in a row. The free breakfast was toast, cereal, muffins and coffee/juice. Overall it was okay if you're looking to save money and not be in the room much.

This place is a real gem. Can't beat the location - you can walk to all the sights. The pool and sauna are great - we spent hours in both. The desk staff made our stay great with their advice and conversation. Nicely priced and a great value. Highly recommended.

service was very good,breakfast room lady very helpful but.... the rooms look like something from the 80's the sheets were very clean but thats about it,since they welcome pets it was a bit musty and one day it smelled just like a kennel. its kind of sad because they are right next to the bridge it should be able to afford to update, next time we will stay accross the street at the sheridan

There was flies coming out Of The sink. We were not impressed .

Overall I can't complain the price was right and the location is perfect. We walked everywhere we wanted to go!!!

hotel needs a good cleaning!

I wasn't expecting much for the price that I paid. For the price It was a decent experience. the staff was nice and helpful. The hotel was what is was, an old hotel that could use some updating. If you are picky, don't stay here.

Dirty rooms. I had read that there were bed bugs here. From my initial instection I thought I spotted some dead beg bugs. I was moved to a different room when requested. Bathroom was not clean esspecially the bath tub. I think the bathroom supplies were not fresh also. Location was good.

its okay if you are tired and want a place to sleep but otherwise it does not look like or feel like hotel for the price they are charging.I would recommend and alternative if possible.

This hotel is okay for what it is if you know what you're getting into up front: access to the falls or Canada at an older, low-frills facility. If it were not for the location we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. Positives include excellent, easy walking access to the falls, Canada (via the Rainbow Bridge), and Niagara Aquarium. (Pulling out of the parking lot onto the street during heavy traffic can be a problem.) Free parking, though limited, was a plus. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and generally helpful. The limited continental breakfast was adequate. The room size was excellent, and the fridge & microwave were very useful. The building exterior appeared to be reasonably maintained. Facility disappointments included: one small elevator, only one entrance & exit, a dusty room that either hadn't been used or thoroughly recently, and visibly worn & dirty carpets throughout. Our room's bathroom floor was clearly newer, but the rest of the amenities were old and needed replacing or fixing: the sink did not drain properly (even after we requested it to be fixed), and old sliding shower doors that were not clean. The shower tile and grout needed cleaning or replacement. The room's smaller air conditioning unit worked but took a long time to cool the room at all noticeably. The complementary wireless internet connection in our room worked, but access was spotty to connect and operated fairly slowly. Lighting in the hallways was enough to see decently, but was definitely not bright. Actual pool hours were inconsistent with posted hours.
