Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites at Universal Studios Main Gate - أورلاندو

The best part of this hotel is the location? Front desk was nice enough. Maid service was horrible. Made the bed that is it.

My friend and I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The people were so very nice and TGIF right next door was very convenient for us. thank you for making it so wonderful.

this hotel dosn't have brakfast included, but they give you the option to upgrade for breakfast for a extra charge. Well you have to take the breakfast at fridays restaurant buffet, ATENTION is not free, fridays charge you too even if you present the coupon that the hotel(front desk gave to you) and just cover 20dls per room so you don't know if you can have eggs, sausage, cereal, cofee, an aplle juice, an apple because is suposse to be a buffet...but at the end they bring you a check for an extra amount for your SIMPLE breakfast...by the way even the holiday inn hotel or hotels.com says anything about that.....how can we know when we reach the 20dls.... we were a family of 3 and we paid for an upgrade for breakfast for 3 but the breakfast just cover 20dls per room!!!!

The staff was very helpful and the bed was wonderfully comfortable.

Really noisy old fashion air conditioning units. Rattle noise when they are on. clean rooms. polite service.

Really really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, very respectful staff made my stay here even better. The rooms were very clean so were the hotel grounds. Very convenient to the parks. My son really enjoyed the pools. Great stay.

Hotel was clean and employees were very friendly. Check in took 5 minutes. It is a nice walk across the street to Universal. It was a 20 minute walk. Would definently stay here again.

Dear Guest Mgr - my family was on vacation for spring break - and all was good until the EOW. We had been at the parks ALL DAY and when we came back our bathroom was all wet. Water was coming into the bathroom from the ceiling. we called maintenance but he couldnt remedy it immediately as he stated he would have to investigate it overnight to determine WHERE the water was coming from. The bathroom floor was all wet - plus there were electrical items in there so it could have been very dangerous for us to enter or use it. The water was also onto the carpeted from in front of the rm door. we had to be moved to another room - BUT WE HAD TO MOVE ALL OF OUR OWN STUFF at 10pm at night . My family was EXHAUSTED after all day in the sunny parks and we still couldnt relax when we got in - I was NOT HAPPY by 11pm! Kids were cranky too. I normally have a great stay at Holiday Inn but this trip DID NOT end well. I talked to the hotel mgt AM and their only consolation was to offer a free breakfast. The night mgr said the same but i didnt here it from him - the maintenance guy had to tell us - NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!This was thoroughly disappointing! I did not accept it as this was not only a major inconvenience, It was a potentially a dangerous situation for my family. I felt as if the staff was not taking this seriously and brushing it off. Their attitude was VERY casual and showed a lack of concern. I would hope something more can be done about this incident as i am sure Holiday Inn supports SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE more than what was provided this time!

We booked this with family for a visit to Universal Studios. If you are able to walk, you can literally go across the street and save in parking. The hotel wasn't bad but the halls smelled, although the room itself was nice. There was a microwave fridge, and coffee maker in the room. Other than that hotel, the hotel was pretty basic - no pool or food on site. But there are plenty of food options around.

Location was great!!! Within walking distance of Universal Studios. Housekeeping was well below standard. Dirty coffee cups were left i roo. For two days, coffee packets were not replaced on the third day and hand towels were not replaced on the second day.

Great hotel, convenient location across from Universal. Hotel staff was excellent. TGIF provided a good daily buffet at a reasonable price. And they delivered to your room or poolside. Very friendly atmosphere and family friendly.

Can't get any closer without staying in the park. Friendly staff and excellent curb side service. The TGI Fridays was attached to the hotel, kids eat free, breakfast buffet better than most, and the food was excellent all around, ate there every day

This hotel had a convienent location but the lack of furniture in the room left the feeling like an unfinished room. Noise was a problem and phones did not work to call the front desk so had to walk to the lobby.

We were thrilled over how close it was to Universal. However, the stentch on the 2nd floor of mold and must and whatever else was not appealing. The room was dirty in corners. Hair in shower. The best part was the outside pool. The staff stood in our way as we tried to get to the elevator (with cleaning carts in the way)speaking loudly in another language and wouldnt move until we loudly said excuse me again for the 2nd time. Overall a big disappointment.

My whole family enjoyed our stay at the holiday inn, it was very convenient since we were goin 2 universal studios. We chose to walk to the park & it was. Of bad @ all. We also enjoyed the convenience of TGIFridays which by the ways was also great.

This hotel is great if you would like to walk to universal and spend all your time there. It is 1 mile from a better strip with more access to food and entertainment. The bed was very hard and the hotel is noisy. The staff is nice and are doing the best they can. Not a disaster but not a place I am looking to go back to next time. I stayed in a better priced hotel on the other strip and it had much more amenities and nicer bungalow style rooms.

Overall a very nice hotel. We rented a suite and was able to sleep five very comfortably. Furnishings were up dated, carpet was out dated and a little stained.

Room was very nice hotel was very nice We enjoyed are stay and would go back again

The Holiday Inn Suites is convenient to Universal Studio and offers limited shuttle service. The hotel is drab and the bathroom was very small and had no towel racks so was always messy. The only food service is at the attached TGI Friday's which had the most horrible breakfast buffet I have seen. The food was cold and tasteless. The room was large and the bedding very nice, but I would probably try another hotel in the area.

This hotel was woefully overpriced, hinging all of its business model on a 20 minute walk to Universal and the Holiday Inn brand name. Weak amenities, and TGI Friday's serves as their room service. Plan on ordering a pizza or eating in the restaurant, as the service was poor, and correcting a mistake is a 30 minute ordeal. While the Rooms were nice, it just wasn't worth it.

Great location! We were able to walk back and forth to universal plus there was a shuttle service to the parks. TGI Fridays was attached to the hotel and had a nice breakfast buffet. The room was very large and had a microwave and mini frig which was nice. Great value for the location.

Clean, well kept, well run, and close enough to walk to Universal!!

Great stay! Rooms were like NEW and very clean and comfortable the only downside was that the hotel offers no food, but there is a TGI fridays just outside the hotel

The hotel is located near everything and has TGIFridays attached. The only thing that surprised me was the size of the bathroom in our first floor room. Very compact-not what I expected. The room was huge and was nicely decorated.

Hallways had a bad smell when we were making our way to the room.

i have stayed in several hotels that are cheaper that include breakfast and computer usage. Holiday Inn should not charge to use computers and at least have a small breakfast

Okay. First let me say I stay in about 80 rooms a year for my job as a pilot  I do lots of reviews and check out reviews and love to research so I can make my a good decision on where to stay and I realize things happen and nothing is ever perfect this I can accept. I am a research fanatic when picking hotels and vacation choices   So I decide to bring my family to universal and want to stay close. So I read the reviews and thought this looks like a great choice since the hotel i really wanted on site was booked for the two nights i wanted and was a little more than my budget on this trip would allow. I am a priority member of holiday inn express so i figure this is a good choice so Here is the good: location to universal is great very close and they have a TGIF connected to hotel which is good. Check in was fast  I dont know about the whole walking thing  to park.  the rooms are pretty nice and look like the pictures pretty modern. The pool is pretty okay and nice  Here is the okay : the beds are small and the bathroom is ridiculously small (like one person can fit) they also have only 3 towels for 4 people staying in room I can deal with that. tv is pretty small but again not bad since I'm not spending all day in room.   They don't give you the wifi password so you have to call down for it. And they change that every sunday so guess what you have to call down for that as well. The BAD :day 1 checked in around 7 pm we find out the tv remote doesnt work. Okay not a deal breaker but here is what is.  I call down and tell them tv remote not working. They send one up (remote)pretty quick  again doesn't work. They go get a new one (remote)  im not a tv repairman but its the tv.  it's late so I say look it seems like its the tv just fix it tomorrow while were at park.  Day 2: I also leave note for housekeeping with tip and tell them to check status of tv.   So all day at park come back it's late remote doesn't work. Now after 12 hours walking all day the last thing I wan

A short walk to Universal Studios and recently renovated, this hotel was a terrific experience. The room was surprisingly large too, very wide, which is unusual even in more expensive places I've been. The decor was also surprisingly tasteful and lovely for the price. Everything was new, fresh, and clean.

This is a Pet friendly hotel and it smelled like we were sleeping in a kennel and a a casino. The smoke and pet smells were so strong, I had housekeeping re-clean it while we were at dinner. If I could have left and gone somewhere else I would have. Never ever ever again.

The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from Universal and easy to go by foot. However I am was disapointed about the shuttle service since it was "first come first serve" with no guarantee of seating for the return! However the hotel service was good and the people courteous although the breakfast buffet at TGIF was rather expensive. Ultimately, I would be returning but with more "hands on " knowledge.

Great location, nearby alot of restaurants. My only complaint is the hotel smelled funny. Especially the rooms.

This hotel is literally right across the street from Universal Studios. It took us about 10 minutes to walk everyday. The rooms were nice, but I felt that the beds were too soft. Because of that I woke up everyday with a back ache. I do have to say that the staff was superb and extremely helpful with every question I had, even when I was unsure about working my iPad. So all in all, very happy except for the comfort of the bed.

This hotel was in the perfect location for the Universal Park. We were able to walk there from the hotel on a very nice pathway. The lobby of the hotel was very nice but the rooms weren't nearly as nice. There was even a roach in the room when we got there. The bedding and furniture were all nice but the building itself is just very old and needs updating. We would stay there again only for the closeness to the park.

Rooms were updated but could use bigger beds. Only had full size, but were very comfortable. Location was great, right across from Universal.
