Not impressed with the quality of the place and the fact that they should have information saying they are doing renovations. The hallway smelled of paint so much that I had to go outside.

This motel is in need of serious renovation. Heating is noisy, bathroom stained, shower fixtures old. Bedspreads stained and soiled. I suppose it. Is what you should expect given the price, but I would not stay there again.

Stayed there for sentimental reasons. My grandparents used to visit and stay there and that was 50 years ago when it was nice. This hotel hosts homeless and we had no bad experiences except the key system did not work so we had to be let into our room by a very nice man. Room was clean. new carpeting, beds OK but we took the bed covers off just in case. Overall, better then the Motel 6. and Rein's Deli is next door!

This place is ok for a quick place to stay. Seems maybe of the guests are long term and quite noisy. Bed was comfortable. Watch your balance in the shower though! Place could use some updating.

Could smell pot coming from the room next door when I was unlocking my room door, the bathroom and some of the carpeting STANK of mildew, the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, I could go on,but you get the idea......

The room had a bad smell. The toilet was bubbling, smelled like the septic was full. The bed had a flat sheet and no fitted sheet. The bathroom had mildew. Would not recommend.

The hotel is very old and smells of cigerette smoke but was ok, the room seemed just wiped over but not particullary clean. The staff was friendly but it is very disconcerting to have the lobby doors always locked even during the day. There are some very good restruants in the area and is near to the family members we were visiting but I think we'll look for someplace else next time

This hotel was very close to the route we were taking and the price was appealing, but the hotel itself was dirty, old, and unmaintained. People were obviously living in the hotel and either wandering around or yelling from the balconies. This did not deserve the 2 star rating it claims to have. I did not feel safe with my family and I made a mistake in booking this hotel.

THE ROOM WAS TO SMALL, TELEVISON THE VOLUME WOULD'NT FOR SOME CHANNEL'S I WAS TOLD IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH COMCAST, I STAYED IN SERVERAL HOTELS,BUT THIS ONE WAS NOT PLEASING AT ALL, I WAS VERY SURPRISED, THE TOILET WAS WAS'NT WORKING PROPERLY EITHER , I'T WAS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT

we just wanted a cheap room for one night while we were there visiting family and it was a smoking room which we did prefer so the smell was no suprise. what i didn't like was that we were on the bottom floor and the sliding glass doors could be broken into at anytime. the room did not have a very nice appeal. peeling and old wallpaper. felt like we were in the 70s the best was lumpy so it was hard to fall asleep. the worst thing my husband complained about. he said he felt dirty after his shower then before. bathtub did not drain at all. for the money we spent we could have stayed at the holiday inn as we have before and felt a little safer.

Never use this hotel. Manage is horrible, rude, and they lie. The rooms are DISGUSTING and smell. They allow drug addicts to live in their hotel.

The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke despite the "no smoking" signs on each room door. My room smelled like cheap air freshener trying to cover the smokiness, which caused my allergies to flare up. The towels were stained. The bed was slanted...yes, slanted... & very hard. The toilet seat was oddly shaped & very uncomfortable...& slanted...just like the bed. The crevices in the bathroom tiles looked slimey. I could go on, but the point is I shoulda spent a few extra bucks & gone someplace else where I could've gotten some good sleep.

Desk service was terrible. Management was rude and unprofessional. It took about half an hour to check out of this place, between waiting around at a vacant front desk for somebody to finally show up, and then having to deal with their attitude. Don’t bother call in the morning either, they don’t answer the phone. Very shady place and unsettling experience. As for the actual room conditions, the pillowcases, sheets and towels smell used, and there are several areas where low standards of cleanliness are evident. Some weird hygiene gaffes as well: for example the coffee maker is stored behind the bathroom sink well within range of people flossing their teeth. Too many strikes against it to recommend: would never stay at this place again.

We selected this hotel based on price. It was basically clean and generally comfortable. It was a little run down but this didn't affect our stay.

The "clean" towels that they gave me had hair in it. The room was not in very good shape either. The hallways had a dingy smell. However, the hotel was very inexpensive. So I guess I cant complain.

This hotel is nothing fancy. If I did not need rest in that area, I would never have stayed at this location ever...

I didn't need anything fancy. My 17-yr-old daughter and I needed a basic place to stay so she could visit University of Connecticut. I thought I reserved two double beds. I accidentally reserved only one double bed. I asked at the front desk, and they switched me to another room immediately, even though it was my own mistake. The rooms were very nice. Wi-fi worked perfectly. The breakfast was pretty bad. No bagels. Just some cereal, english muffins and toast. There was butter, but no jelly.

I needed to put my mother up in a hotel room close to me in Vernon, and I was unable to get a room in the other nearby hotel, so chose this from the hotels.com listing. Really should have thought twice about this one, and I accept fault for that! This hotel is straight out of the 70's, kind of run down. The front desk area has the ambiance of a Midas Muffler waiting room. The building has an air of not being very well kept for many years feel and smell. A few doors down from my mother's room, there was another room that had a huge hole in the sliding balcony door, as if someone had thrown a ball or garbage can through it. The room itself was ok, and my mother didn't complain, since we made sure she wasn't actually there much during those 2 days. The sheets were clean, but the coverlet was old and had holes. The shower stall didn't have any safety grips, so she didn't use it during her stay. She said that the bed was decent, and she didn't notice any loud noises overnight. The neighborhood is fine, it's about 5 min. away from our condo, so I wasn't concerned about her safety. That being said, I will not be putting her up there again, but instead will go with the Holiday Inn Express or the Comfort Inn.

We were just looking for something cheap and this did the trick. The pool was kind of murky, but we swam anyway cause our kids were so excited about swimming in the hotel pool and we all survived. Our room was non smoking, but still kind of smelled like smoke. We all had a good time and it was just one night. It wouldn't have been worth the money to stay somewhere more expensive.

The breakfast had coffee, a loaf of bread and cereal. I did get a packaged danish one time very early.

If you are looking for a cheapb hotel to just stay for a night it will do fine

Room was good for the money. It was clean; hotel is older and needs updating but nothing that caused discomfort. By no means luxurious, but good cheap hotel. I have severe allergies to cigarette smoke and mold and had no problems here at all.

Not as close to civic center as told.

Hotel was a little dirty. Walls were thin. Was able to hear the people next to us just talking.

La limpieza de la habitacion bastante regular, se oían perros de las habitaciones contíguas y por el pasillo gente con mal aspecto y bebidas alcoholica. Motel simplemente para pasar solo una noche de descanso en la carretera.

Jeg skulle besøge søn på uconn, hvor han studerer, hotellet lå okay i forhold til at shoppe og komme til og fra, servicen var godog det eneste der var at udsætte var at swimmingpoolen ikke var åben endnu. Det var et billigt men godt hotrel til prisen.
