The tiki bar services on sunday 4-8-12 in the morning at breakfast was really bad and also the food was horrible, the hotel rates is so expensive and we expecting very good time

Adequate. Great staff. Very dated and feels old. Not worth the price at all. Great access to the beach. Very small pool. Not kid friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Hoolywood Beach Marriot very much. Room was great but don't close patio door, you might get locked out on the roof! Like we did. Nice hotel, parking is too high though, with expensive rooms, you would think the parking would be free or cheap....not the case. Rooms were nice, clean, staff was excellent.

very friendly from the valet to the front desk to the dining hall to the wonderful room cleaners!ac unit alittle noisy in the room!friendly friendly!

Overall the hotel was nice and in a good location. But it took forever and multiple request before our room was ready and the parking was pricey.

nice place if your destination is the beach. complimentary internet is very welcomed. room looks quite dark.

Good clean hotel. Do not order breakfast off menu, rather opt for buffet. Same price and much better quality, and I hate buffets! Parking lot attendants need to be a bit more friendly. Guest their on business need to come and go, and they seem to have a problem with this in the parking lot.

Pros: Located practically on the beach. Clean pool. Restaurant is good compare to other in the close neighborhood. Cons: Breakfast overpriced, poor selection of healthy food. Room up keeping service below is average, especially on weekends. Parking overpriced.

We stayed at the Marriott in Hollywood Beach in June 2011. The location was great! Directly on the boardwalk, the pool faces the beach as opposed to the hotels in Fort lauderdale where the pool is located in the back of the hotel and you have to cross the street to get to the beach. With 2 small kids that love spending time at the pool, it allowed us to get the best of both worlds all day! You don't have to pay for chairs at the beach - you can use the ones the hotel offers at the pool are for free - the pool area overl. (chairs at the beach and very $$$) The hotel also offers self-parking and a great breakfast buffet.

The hotel was great. Right on the beach. And close to the interstate. The neighborhood was So-so kinda slummy. Over all really nice. The biggest downside is that the residents have to pay to park in the hotels parking deck. 17 dollars a night on top of the room rate. If you ask me that is a rip off and just because of that I will never stay at that hotel again. It is understood that tie beach is crowded and people need to park, but at least give the residents a discount or include it in the room price.

The proximity to the beach was great. The staff was the best I have ever experienced, and I am well travelled. Would definitely return.

I booked this hotel with two things in mind: must be on the water and in walking distance of nice restaurants. To begin, it's definitely close to the water, but I didn't like that I couldn't walk back to my room without getting fully clothed again. Towels and barefeet are a big NO-NO. The restaurant in the hotel is nothing special tbh. The closest place to eat is a 15 minute walk, but it's all bars and bar food. (Chicken sandwiches, etc.) The room itself was clean, but again, not spectacular. The bathroom door was was made of refracted glass, allowing virtually no privacy! It was really uncomfortable to have to keep telling my boyfriend, "don't come over here, I need to use the bathroom." Figuring out how to lock the door was also tricky as I had to push the door hard for it to shut all the way. The one thing that was top-notch was the service. Check in/out was a breeze, and when I requested a cork-screw at 2:00 AM, it was in my room in 3 minutes tops.

The hotel staff were extremely accommodating. It was well-kept and offered a lot of amenities. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location across the 'boardwalk' from the beach. Staff is the best. It appeared to me to be an older property but well maintained and kinda funky, more down to earth. My room was very nice even with the 'partial' beach view. I would stay here again.

and the Marriot is the place to stay. Not far from southern Florida activites including horse track, water taxi and beach. Friendly staff and good service all around.

We love the area, great beach, walkway all along the beach for pedestrians, bikers and rollerbladers. The hotel is very convenient, right on the broadwalk and beach. Staff was attentive and helpful. We checked in on the Sunday of a holiday weekend, so they were extremely busy. Our room wasn't ready, so they held our luggage while we enjoyed walking around. They took a bit longer to find and bring up our luggage, but once we had everything, the stay was most enjoyable.

I am a loyal marriott hotel guest. This was the worst marriott I have ever encountered. I kept saying to my travel parnter-this is a pit. The sheets were dirty, the breakfast waiter surley, the coffee and food cold. The only highlight was the dinner at Latitudes which was actually very good (though very expensive) and the waitress lovely. Hollywood beach is pretty dumpy in general and this hotel, coupled with that, is not worth the money.

The hotel was beautiful inside and was in an absolutely great location. The only thing I could even possibly think of to say bad is that my bed was a little hard and that the color and the outside of the hotel looks run down but once you came inside you were VERY pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Also we had some problems with the thermostat in our room. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it!!

everything was great...great staff, great location, great service..only one thing to suggest, the menu of the restaurant should have more veg dishes..since there are more vegetarian ppl now a days..other than that no complain:)

The hotel was pretty nice located directly on the board walk with lots to do and restaurants. The room was very clean and updated with flat screen tv's, very plush beds, and new bathrooms. The pool was clean and the jacuzzi as well. The breakfast buffet was delicious, from pancakes and waffles, to sausage, eggs, toast, fruit, cereal, and danishes. There weren't too many kids either, as this was a romantic getaway for me and my wife. It was a very nice stay.

Friendly employees at reception desk. It was a get away for my husband and I and ended up sleeping in separate beds (single beds)... We were told there was no availability for King size beds. When speaking with other guest around the pool area - they mentioned being told there were no double beds available. Great time but no attempt to accomodate us...

Very nice hotel, nicest on the beach broadwalk. Staff was great, hotel seemed very clean.

The hotel is in a great location right on the Broadwalk on the Ocean. It was very clean the pool is small but you have the ocean right there. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel personnel were professional and very helpful. Location was right on the boardwalk/beach so it was quite pleasant to get out and enjoy the local restaurants and ocean.

I was very satisfied with the hotel, its services and amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were accommodating and the beach location was terrific. I'm a local and would not hesitate to return. My visiting family who also stayed at the hotel, loved the oceanfront rooms.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. The staff is wonderful, the restaurant on premises is good. Best of all, the beds and the linens are fabulous. I also love the heated pool and hot tub on the beach.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Hollywood Beach. The hotel was excellent and the service was top notch. We needed to change our reservation and hotels.com was very accomodating. I would recommend this hotel as well as hotels.com
