The Peabody Little Rock - ليتل روك

I was a bit concerned/ misled when it came to parking, as I asked about parking before booking my room. I was told on the phone by Hotels.com that there was free parking at the hotel, yet when I got to the hotel was told that the only parking at the hotel was valet at a cost. I was informed I could check with the hotel down the street their rate is cheaper or I could see if I could find a meter on the street. Over over the hotel is great, my wife and I had a great stay as a weekend getaway.

There is no coffee or refrigerator in the room. Room service or walk downstairs for coffee and a paper.

It's a lovely hotel - more modern than the Memphis Peabody, and a bit more comfortable. My only complaint was that it was noisy the night we were there -- probably just a result of our neighbors in the adjoining room. Parking (valety) was pricy, but convenient.

Great hotel - just be cautious of all the fees related to room service. Made it much more expensive than the menu. Great Valet service - great service overall - wonderful beds, and you have to love those ducks!

I stayed one night, and didn't eat there as I was driving across country and ate on the go. The rooms are fairly large and clean. Outlets are difficult to find in the room, however. The staff are friendly and don't mind chatting. The wireless is free but unsecured, and there's a bar near the main lobby. If you have a vehicle, expect to pay a bit for parking, as they don't have a lot you can park in and only provide valet service. Your vehicle is kept either at the front of the hotel, or on a side street. As all of my belongings were in it, I was a bit anxious regarding security, but they reassured me they had a guard who kept an eye on them all night. When I stayed (August 2011) the price for a king-sized bed cost the same as one in the Double Tree just down the street. I also stayed there three months back. Parking is free and available, so you might want to consider both of these hotels if you stay in Little Rock.

I have previously stayed in this hotel along with its sister property in Orlando. This stay was different, I went to my room and the carpet was filthy and the room had a pet odor, I called down and they said yes they allow pets and they don't know how i got that room, so I got another room and the next one had stained carpets again but smelled but it was not as bad. i did not feel like moving again, so I went downstairs to discuss this with the manager , they ended up giving me a food voucher to be used that day for and the dinner was fine. At lease they tried to make it right.. They did give me a free ride to the airport again. So If in the area I probably will gibe them a chance.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and elegance of lobby. My kids LOVED the "Duck March" at 11am and 5pm. The room was a little small but very nicely furnished and clean. The only complaint would be the lack of coffee in the room or available in the lobby. There are very few cafes around the hotel so you had to walk to the River Market for a descent, affordable cup of coffee. To order coffee via room service is outrageously expensive! Otherwise, great hotel in great location.

We arrived late on our way to Nashville. The hotel was very conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. Our family loved watching the famous ducks after breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

We LOVED the Peabody Little Rock and all the people who work there have an amazing heart for service.

Peabody Little Rock is a very nice hotel and eyeryone is friendly and helpful. Ask for the room that faces the Arkansas river. It offers all the aamenities you could ask for. Remember that there is a $20 charge daily for parking.

connected to Convention Center, + for meetings/events there. Close to rivermarket and trolley- downtown. No coffee maker in room and no pool, ask for riverview room. Valet service was great.

Overall, it was a good experience. They seemed a little understaff, particularly for the car valet. Also, there was only one person working the front desk when I checked in, and she was answering the phones, taking requestes for guests and tring to check me in all at the same time. The room was nice enough, excpet no coffee maker. That, to me, should be a basic, of any hotel that offers bathrobes and specialty toiletries. Second, the TV service appeared to be satellite service, so it totally went out several times in the hour that I tried to watch TV. Lastly, my king bed was made up beautifully EXCEPT that there was a deep impression in one pillow and one side of the linens, indicating that someone laid down on the bed after it was made. Ewwww...

Very nice hotel, would defiantly stay there again, but don't expect in room coffee machine, there is none. Had to go 9 floors down to lobby to get coffee, then back up again. I recommend the bottom floor if your a coffee drinker.

The Peabody hotel in Little Rock was in a perfect location to all the surrounding museums, trolleys, and restaurant. It is an elegant hotel and the service is supreme. The ducks are the cutest items in the hotel and people come and watch as they waddled to and from the fountain. Overall, it was a very wonderful stay and we enjoyed it very much. The River Market District of Little Rock is a perfect 2-3 day stay of history and glamore on the banks of the Arkansas River. Prices around the area were also very accommodating, You could find what you wanted at the price you wanted to pay.

My experience was what I have come to be expect staying at the Peabody. The service was prompt and with a smile. The room as usual was clean and comfortable. The hotel needs to get an upto date television set though.

my only complaint is the tv service and the tv itself. I was surprised to see an old fashioned tv instead of the flatpanel tvs most hotels now have. The channel selections were not so great, but that aside it was a delightful place to stay and the staff was incredibly helpful especially the valet parking staff. Having formerly lived in LR it was easy for me to get around, however, downtown LR is difficult for out of towners but the hotel is well located for most events that bring people to LR

Couldn't believe what a wonderful hotel this was for the price we paid. The rooms are large, exceptionally clean, and well furnished. The lobby bar is a lovely place to sit and relax in the evening. It was so hot outside during our stay that we didn't get to walk around outside, but will certainly do that on a return trip. When we return to Little Rock we will certainly stay at the Peabody again.

I booked this hotel for a night because the next day we were dropping our child at Camp Ozark. My husband travels often for work typically stays in Starwoods and Ritz Carltons so we weren't expecting much for the cheap rate and we were very pleasantly surprised!!! Food was amazing!, service wonderful!, the duck show was so fun!, the room was very nice with an amazing view of the capital and the river. We really loved it and are staying there again when we go to pick up our daughter in 2 weeks from Camp. Highly recommend!!!

This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in . The Staff was great . I felted as if they wanted me there . Parking was awesome for valet

I try to have weekends alone to spoil myself. I normally take short trips out of town. This time, I decided to stay in my hometown of LR. The staff was great! I was disappointed. The toilet had urine on it and they could use an update on the decor. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without flat screens. The room appeared clean, but the urine on the toiletade me question that. Arkansas' only 4 or 5 star hotel disappointed me compared to other states I've stayed in.

Checked in, went to dinner, came back & when we examined the room more closely we found it unacceptable. The counter tops were dirty, the room was small for the price, & the worst thing was the carpets were old, worn, & my wife stepped on a nail coming thru the carpet. On closer review, it was the tack strip that holds the carpet down. This strip was in the doorway to the bathroom. Lesser problems no coffee pot or refrigerator. Also, room not very cool & couldn't contol the temp. in the room(very warm outside at time). The positve note was the staff was very friendly & accommidating. I believe that this hotel is in financial trouble. I would not consider staying there ever again. This my first negative review of a hotel.

We were very comfortable with our stay at the Peabody. Our king size bed was so easy to fall asleep in. I was most impressed with the hotel staff. They went out of their way to get us to a destination we needed to be at. They treated us as if we owned the place. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It was also close to everything in the downtown area. If I ever return to Little Rock, I will be staying at the Peabody again!!

Once in a great while I will venture out to other hotels in the area. I always regret the decision. If you're staying in Little Rock the Peabody is really the clear choice. The rooms are comfortable but not extravagant, and the bar and restaurant are worthy. The staff, from housekeeping to valet to the bartenders, is outstanding. You are also close to everything you'll want to see in the LR area.

Service was great, clean, but no free parking forces you to pay the $20 parking, no fridge or coffee in the room encourages use of room $ervice. If they need all the extra it should be up front. The ducks dont justify a stay at this antiquated facility.

Nice hotel. No coffee in the room- big negative for me. AND, the charge for valet parking (not optional). seemed pretty high .Plus tipping the staff in and out for every trip gets to be tiresome. I will probably pass on the next trip to Arkansas.

I was worried everytime I took a shower that the above shower was going to fall through, The ceiling leaked above the shower, the imprint in the ceiling had a hole and imprint of the above shower. Bascially the room they put us in had cheap written all over it

What a treat for us! The reservation process with Hotels.com was wonderful, the hotel was awesome! Everyone was so friendly and nice, the duck procession was fun to watch and the duck master was great! Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was the most comfortable we have slept on in years. We actually lifted the sheets and got the name of the mattress so we can purchase one at home. The restaurant was superb, and a very comfortable setting. Our waiter, for 2 breakfast settings and 2 dinner settings , name was Ryan and he was awesome! Made us feel very special! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel was very nice for a girls weekend with my college friends. We were able to walk to many things including the Flying Fish for dinner and the Ashley's for brunch. Watching the march of the ducks was fun. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

I know it was riverfest, but I called down to get 2 cars at 10:00. My friends car was there in 30 minutes. not bad. But, when i went down an hour later, mine still hadnt been pulled around yet. After waiting for an hour and a half, I saw my keys... they were still in the valet booth... so I told someone and he noticed that someone had put a replacement ticket on my keys, and in my car, but never bothered to inform me, or give me the number. So, this communication needs to be figured out. Also, it needs to be made easier to find my car. If I call down and do not have my ticket, I should be able to tell them my last name and type of car, and they should be able to find it. This is my second bad experience with the peabody valet, and i know many other people who have had problems with the valet too. Other than that, i always love the peabody little rock.

Good service, large room, great bed, perfect location for Riverfest. My room needed new carpet and had an old tube TV. $20 for valet parking is pretty steep and no wireless in the rooms.

Great location with all the restaurants and trolley nearby. Staff was happy, friendly and helpful. Great workout room (though I think the heat was on) end the entire hotel was outstandingly clean wherever you looked. Only thing I missed were things I've gotten used to in other hotels such as a coffee maker and fridge but I'd say the charming duck ceremony was a decent trade.

Beautify river view. Huge room. Don't miss the march of the ducks. KI'm sure it gets old, but everyone needs to experience it at least once.

Based on the tradition of elegant accommodations established by the Peabody Memphis, my husband and I had great expectations for the Peabody Little Rock. Sadly, those expectations were unfulfilled. The Peabody Little Rock's lobby creates an aura of luxury to greet guests; but this theme is not carried through to the guest rooms. The "superior" grade room that my husband and I occupied had dirty carpet and a thick layer of dust on the furniture when we arrived. The room's tiny closet was too small to accommodate all of our clothes for the five-night stay. These rooms also do not contain coffeemakers, so if you enjoy waking up to a hot beverage you will be forced to rely on room service. Other amenities that we expected to find, but that were missing or difficult to access were an ATM machine (in the gift shop which is closed in the middle of the day) and a place to buy postage stamps/mail things. One gift shop attendant informed us to come back the next day and we would be able to buy postage stamps from her. When we returned the next day, a different gift shop attendant informed us that they did not sell stamps and encouraged us to "just ask another hotel guest if they had one we could purchase." The helpfulness of the hotel staff ranged from truly exceptional to truly disappointing. The housekeeper on our floor put forth extra effort to remedy the shortcomings in the cleanliness of our room. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming upon check-in and efficiently rectified an issue with the billing of incidentals. We received a surprisingly bad breakfast recommendation from one concierge, only to find later that there were several much better options in the area. From another concierge, we requested assistance with our luggage on check-out ; but no one ever came to help us. Skip the hotel's restaurant, The Capriccio Grill, which is pricey. This hotel is just fine. No complaints at all. Clean, comfortable, nice service, good location. Certainly not a destination hotel for the discerning traveler, but fine for the business guest (me) and conference attendee. More than adequate, but I am struggling to find something to write home about here...

Tried the sauna this time...wonderful. The staff is so polite. They truly treat you like a "guest." I try to stay here every business trip I have to LR. I can't even believe that I still haven't been able to see the ducks march! Surrounding area is great for a run and fun to go out for the evening.

My overall stay at The Peabody was okay...my only complaint was the valet service. We called down for our car and it took 30 minutes for the car because when we went downstairs, no one from the valet service had went to retrieve our car. We talked to the hotel manager and he removed the parking fee from our hotel bill.

The service and pleasantness of the staff set it apart form the Double Tree next door. Stayed for 3 nights at each back to back and the Peabody was twice as nice!

The hotel is very nice, The beds are a little on the hard side. The bedding is not as nice as I have at home and the pillows are to big and not a good quality . We had a room on the 19th floor and much to our dismay so did a drunken wedding party!!! They kept us up all night. Hotel security came up around 12;30 am and gave them a warning and at that time they had 4 complaints and it didn't stop them. This is not what you expect in this type of hotel. The staff is very friendly and this is not a deal breaker for future stays.
