The Peabody Little Rock - ليتل روك

Very nice room with a great view on the 12th floor... enjoyed a glass of wine with live Jazz in the lounge.

Was sad not to have a coffee maker in the room. Can't say I've ever not had one. Furniture and carpet are old and worn. The hotel staff was top-notch.

Had never stayed at the Peabody before...it was reommended by several people we had known who stayed there years ago. The hotel is beautiful, but there were a few things we found unacceptable. There was a dirty ice bucket in-room, really high charges for overnight valet that we were not made aware of and no coffee pot in the room. That was a real disappointment...coffee downstairs was very expensive to purchase. Just seemed like, for the price, some of the basic simple things were overlooked. We won't stay there again.

Nice hotel. No hotel parking except for $20 per night valet. But a very nice stay. The Restaurant is very good as well.

I've stayed at the hotel in the past and have always been impressed by how the staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Just a wonderful place to stay!

I use to live in Little Rock when the Peabody use to be the Excelceor, and it was Little Rock's best. I could not afford it then but was excited to be able to bring my family in town and stay at the legendary hotel. It was such a waste of time and money. EVERYONE there has their hands out for tips for things that are normal at other hotels. How could they charge $20 a day to vallet and then still want tips, I guess that is pretty much common in other places as well, but at what they call a 5 start hotel, you would think that people aren't harrasing you for tips, especially when most people don't carry many anymore. And the room size is the same as the back room that you get at Embassy Suits, but they of course have a front room as well. I was really let down by this hotel. It was kinda like an old piece of technology that didnt bother to upgrade.

This was just perfect location everyone very friendly would stay again.

Staff was great. Hotel was really nice-the hotels computer systems were down when we checked in-so they put us in the wrong room first, but then got us in a double bed room. My only down fall is that they did not have a small fridge, microwave, or coffee pot in the room. I just think that should be a must in a hotel room-

Our recent stay was great. We were working a show just about a block away so it was very convenient. The only disappointment was the stopper in the bathroom would not work, but other than that the room and hotel was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel to others and will stay again.

The hotel was very close to the Arkansas Children's Hospital which is where we had to spend most of the day. They had a great rate for the night plus it was the best hotel around by far.

Beautiful hotel! Stayed here for the weekend and attended a dance competition at the Statehouse Convention Center. Both were so conveniently located. Staff was amazing--wonderful hospitality. Food delicious! Plenty of restaurants nearby in walking distance. Never had to move the car. Enjoyed their famous ducks! Will definately stay here again in the future!

I stay here all the time so I didn't let the lack of cleanliness this time affect my stay too much and I didn't complain. I arrived very early and was allowed to check in so that's a plus. There was toothpaste on the bathroom floor. On my second day I was out all day and arrived back at my room after 5 but it had still not been cleaned so I had to call for towels. I wasn't too happy about that. But this is an exception to my usual experience so yes, I will be back.

I'm not sure why hotels are leaving coffee makers out of the rooms. It would be different, if they had a place you could go down and get a coffee and sweet roll. I do not like to pay 6 or 7 dollars for a cup of room service coffee.

Would have enjoyed it more if I had more time. Ordered room service and was very good.

Just spent 1 night, but wished for more. It was a real treat. Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, very nice and helpful staff. There is an awesome view of the river from the elevator! I envy the ducks! They live in luxury! Great place.

Great location and great hotel. Will most definitely be back! Loved the live music in the lobby!!!!!

We stayed Christmas night with a last minute special rate. Everything was luxurious and wonderful. We were not able to stay the next day to see the famous ducks but breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a really good Mexican dinner (including complementary sopiapillas) at a nearby restaurant whose name I've forgotten but it was on a corner very well-lit (outside floodlights etc) -- we passed it on the way to The Peabody and backtracked just a bit and were glad we did.

While the hotel is very nice and is a great tourist thing to do. I was disappointed by two things. First I was checked into a dirty room, while it can happen, there wasn't a massive group or crowd to warrant the front desk to not know what was the status of there rooms. Second, I stopped here just to be a half way point on my journey and to be rested. Being woken up at 10am by Jack hammers and loud banging was just not what I wanted to start my morning off like. I would think a warning at check in - even if I did have to move rooms for the cleaning problem.

This is a Excilent hote. Top of the line.

My family has stayed at the Peabody on little rock for years and the hotel along with the staff have been superior. This year was no different. What will keep us away in the future is that homeless people were all over and in the 24 hours we were there we were approached twice. Once when we first arrived we were approache by a homeless man and later that night when I was across the street I was approached for money from a homeless man. I never saw a policeman or security anywhere. This is not a safe place for my family. It's unfortunate for your hotel that the police don't patrol the area to keep the businesses safe for the customers

THE RIVERFRONT VIEW MADE THE STAY!!!! THE ROOM COULD USE AN EXTRA COMFORT CHAIR. THE DRINKS AND BAR FOOD WAS GREAT. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE RESTUARUANT PRICES THEY WERE OUTRAGES ESPECIALLY FOR DINNER. THE VALET PARKING ALTHOUGH EXPENSIVE WAS GOOD. LUCKILY WE HAD TO GO TO THE DOUBLETREE FOR EARTH KEEPERS GATHERING SO WE HAD MOST OF OUR MEALS THERE. WHICH WERE MUCH MORE REASONALE. THANK YOU FOR THE VIEW.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Peabody Hotel. The negative aspects included the noise of the band in the lobby area Friday night, the ridiculous room service charges (not food charges, but the 4% gratuity, 20% delivery charge, etc. that they tack on to the bill), the lack of economic meal options inside the hotel, no coffee pot in the room, the only parking option is valet and it's high per night. HAving said that, the service was impeccable, I had an erroneous charge on my bill and they promptly and politely corrected it. They valets are super nice and helpful, the restaurant staff are very accommodating. The view from my room was magnificent. Their conference facilities are also very nice. I was there for business, and so I was able to expense most of my stay. Except, due to the high cost of the meals (and there is only one option there), I either had to go over my company's meal allowance and eat the charges myself, skip a meal, or try to eat elsewhere, which meant a short walk down the street. I probably would not stay there for pleasure, but I might stay there again for business.

I was very impressed with the Peabody. The staff was beyond friendly, the band playing in the lounge was impressive and the room perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel is very conveniently located. The rate for the evening was competitive. The staff was very friendly and eager to serve. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the room lacked certain amenities that are standard in most hotels, for example, a coffee pot in the room. If you aren't a coffee drinker, obviously this is not a big deal. If you are find a Starbucks. There are no complementary coffee locations in the hotel and the coffee they sell in the gift shop is crap. Additionally, the channel selection wasn't great and the TVs are old but the other accommodations were fine and the wireless Internet is free. The absolute worst part of staying at The Peabody is the lack of free or even accesible parking. Unless you choose to find a place to park your car on the street, which will require a considerable walk, you have to pay $25 a night for valet. I had to wait one and a half hours in the lobby after I had checked out, waiting for my car to be brought out front. To me, that wait was excessive and in a way ruined the Peabody for me.

I enjoyed my stay. Very nice place.

Free shuttle from the airport. Requires a reservation, but it is difficult to obtain a reservation. Live jazz in the lobby on Friday night. Walking distance from all the sights. Duck parade the cutest thing on webbed feet and definitely a kid magnet. Restaurant prices exceed restaurant quality.

The Peabody. Enough said. But for those who don't know the Peabody Hotels, let me say a few words more. From the moment you walk through the plate glass doors and the desk person greets you with real Southern courtesy, you know you will have a happy and restful stay. The ducks are reminiscent of the original Peabody in Memphis (a whole other experience in Southern comfort). The subdued, slightly modernized elegance of the lobby and the clubby atmosphere of the hotel restaurant all lend an atmosphere of tranquility and peace at the end of a long trip or hectic day of business. The location at the heart of Little Rock is convenient, with access to interesting sites within walking distance. Valet parking is available. Nice views of the capitol district and the Arkansas River. The only detractions were (1) sounds from the elevators audible in the bath of this room and (2) a cracked washbasin in the bath.
