The New York Palace - نيويورك

Stayed at The New York Palace for 5 nights. Following noise from vents just outside our window on the 10th floor we were moved, without hassle, to a room on the other side of the building, with a fantastic view of St. Patrick's cathedral. Normally there is an extra charge for these rooms but this was waived. The location was perfect. Close to the Rockefeller, Times Square and 5th Avenue. We had plenty of space in our room despite 3 people staying in the room and the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. I would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel is extremely impressive and the staff is very helpful. I booked a king bed room for myself and I was upgraded to a 34 floor room with Cathedral views. The room is very clean and feels fresh everywhere. The beds are very luxurious. Location is the best for my business in New York and only steps away. A lot of excellent restaurants around and very convenient to 5th Avenue shopping. The room was large by New York standards and gigantic for international standards. Having said that, the room could use a few improvements to make it perfect. High Definition TV for example and less expensive internet fees. Also a larger robe would be a nice addition. The staff in the hotel was extremely nice and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were turned down each night. The views are spectacular both day and night. Would I stay here again? Definitely yes.

Location was perfect just off 5th av, the bar is fantastic. The only downside was trying to get our luggage on check out took half an hour so remember to leave plenty of time before you go to airport!

Great location within walking distance of things we wanted to see. Service was an A+. Definitely would stay again, and recommend to friends.

I liked everything about my stay at this hotel. It is absolutely luxurius, the room was very comfortable, great pillows, nice linens,comfortable temperature, very quiet,etc. It's perfect!

We had a wonderful experience. Breakfast in the lobby was very busy and our waiter seemed a little hassled. We had two small children with us and we had to wait for a long time to be waited on despite asking to order for the children. Other then that, everyone was friendly and helpful. Would go back.

This was by far the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in. Since I was staying in NYC for one night, I thought I would splurge and stay in a fancy-pants hotel. For the price, I'm deeply disappointed that when I took my shower in the morning, the bathtub wouldn't drain and I was quickly standing in ankle-deep water. As well, for the price, they don't include free wifi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby. They wanted to charge $15.99 for 24 hours of wifi service. Seriously? In any budget motel I've ever stayed in, I get free wifi in my room. Absolutely ridiculous. Take it from me folks, you can stay in a hotel or hostel for that matter that will be a fraction of the cost and you will get a bathtub that works and free wifi.

The entire hotel and surrounding sights experiences were wonderful.

We had a perfect overnighter in the city with our six year old grandson. The staff were beyond helpful. We got an upgrade to the 44th floor of the towers which we greatly appreciated. Everything was beyond our expectations. Thank you eveyone!

Wonderful place to stay. However, the lighting in the room leaves a lot to be desired.

We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our first visit to New York. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our room was exactly as described when we booked it on hotels.com. The room was beautifully furnished and the beds and pillows were SO comfortable. We were on the 15th floor with a gorgeous view of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Only 1.5 blocks to the subway and a short walk to Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall. A lovely walk to Central Park and lots of shopping. There are no ice machines on the floors but ice is available on request and automatically with turn down service. Also, although there are no coffee makers in the rooms, were were offered one free of charge when the bellman brought our bags up. Early check in is available but our room wasn't available so they offered us a king bed on the 32 floor. We really needed the 2 double beds so they offered to store our luggage so we could go explore the city and called us when our room was ready. They even offered to let us shower and freshen up if we needed to. If I could get another great deal on the price I would definitely stay at the Palace again!

I usually stay at another fine hotel in NYC, but I booked on short notice and they were full, so I tried the Palace. I definitely will return. As aspects of the Palace were excellent during my stay, from the large room to the attentive but unobtrusive service. For those visitors who are driving into the city, there is a parking garage adjacent to the Palace entrance on E. 50th St.....with a door leading straight through to the hotel lobby.

Excellent Service particularly from the Concierge Desk who made all arrangements when needed. Great location Midtown, made a perfect short break holiday an amazing experience. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a Manhatten holiday

It was a true 5 star experience. The view over St Pats Cathedral was the best part. The room was big for a NY hotel and it was immaculate. Great Weekend.

The hotel and room are lovely. Location is great. Service was very polite and professional. Only complaints: remote for TV only worked if you were almost on top of the set, lighting in room was complicated and $27 for a glass of wine in the hotel lobby bar seemed a bit much. In the past we've stayed at the Warwick and the Helmsley Parklane: would rate The Palace as more opulent, but others are right up there.

We were there for my daughters birthday. So happy we were at the Palace. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. I ❤NY. And ❤Palace.

We were only in NYC for one night but the staff at the palace made us feel as welcome as if we were there for a week. The bellmen were great - thanks George!!- and the concierge helped arrange our last minute tix. Our room had an amazing view and we were as close to everything as we needed to be. This was a great value for midtown and was super nice!!!

We loved our 4 night stay in the NY Palace, just sorry we couldn't afford to eat there, not even breakfast. 2 coffees cost us 20 dollars, Otherwise perfect and yes I would stay ther eagain.

This is truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. A very high service level everywhere, door men, reception, concierge, room service and cleaning! All staff were super efficient and friendly!Rooms are spacious and well equipped! We got a room on 37th floor, with view towards East River ! Located next to St.Patrick's Cathedrale and Rockefeller Centre - a good starting point for exploring Manhattan! Recommended !!

If it weren't for the desire to walk around a fantastic city, I would never have left the bed! The NY Palace beds were cloud-like with bedding that was extremely fresh. We ordered a rollaway and even that was firm, but soft & pillowy. I wish all hotels made beds a priority like the Palace!

I spent a long time choosing this hotel and looked at previous reviews before making my decision.this was going to be a surprise 25th wedding anniversary present for my wife so i wanted to make sure it would be special.I origionally booked a room in the main hotel due to the towers part being more expensive,however i found that an offer appeared on hotel.com 2 weeks before i was going to travel and swiftly booked a room in the towers section of the hotel and was so pleased that i did. The Towers section has an executive suite on the 39th floor which allows access to tower guests only. this facility was amazing allowing drinks and food +breakfast all free of charge at certain times of the day.The executive suite also allowed you to take drinks and snacks to your room to save paying for items in the mini bar. The Towers section has its own booking in area and lifts which made you feel really special The service was excellent and our concierge Gunter gave us good advice on things to see and places to go nothing was too much trouble. if you are looking to stay at this hotel all I can say is BOOK IT. We had an amazing time the hotel has everything you could wish for its clean the rooms are amazing and I cant wait to stay again .

Ticked all boxes. West wing view is class. Concierge are legends. Only issue my wallet is very sick after NYC!

The staff at check in was welcoming and accomadating. The room was small but well appointed.

Once again, the NY Palace provided the proper venue and all of the amenities one expects from a five-star hotel. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed cocktails at the Gilt Restaurant, and the bell captain/crew, front desk and coincierge met all of our expectations. This is our second consecutive stay at this wonderful establishment--my wife and I have termed it "our hotel" in NYC. My only request, is the hotel provide a convenient location to obtain ice for cold drinks in our rooms. It shouldn't require room service to furnish this service.

We found the NY Palace a wonderful, easy place to stay. The check in was easy, the front desk person very friendly as well as the bell person. The room were more than comfortable- and we even got a nice view of the church across the street. We went with friends and they made sure that our rooms were next door to each other. They also gave our friend an extended check out when she requested. I liked that you could enter the hotel from either side of the block and that you didn' t have to walk around depending where you were coming from. We did not eat at the hotel, use the mini bar or room service (although it seemed quite expensive) Totally served our needs... good location- I would recommend and/or return there.

While the property is beautifull and the midtown location unbeatable, the service was kind of sketchy and not in keeping with the nature of this hotel.

We've stayed a the Palace a few times before, and this was the first time it was anything but perfect. We couldn't check in until after 5:30, and getting maintenance to come the first evening was difficult. We will definitely go back again, but hope the problems we experienced this time is not a trend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Palace. The location is very convenient and we had a wonderful skyline view. The concierge personel were extremely helpful and knowledgable in assisting with day trips as well as dinner reservations. We will be back!!

I loved this hotel - very good value for the money. The location is obviously great but I was more impressed by the ambiance and decor of the hotel. We were upgraded without even asking right away to a room with a St. Patricks view on the 20th floor. It had a great view and a large room with a little reading area as well. The bathroom was good and as expected to the rest of the hotel. Overall, I was refreshed to feel like my money was going to a good hotel, a tough thing amongst the many choices in the city.

We had a great stay at the hotel -- it is in a good midtown location for sightseeing. Very easy to get around. We ate at Gilt, the hotel restaurant, which is good for fine dining/special occasion dining -- very formal. Overall a positive experience.

This is the best hotel that I've stayed in in New York. The location is superb (very central), the interior of the hotel is magnificent, rooms are spacious by New York standards and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The only thing to be aware of is that the double beds are on the small side, similar to European rather than American. That being said, the linens are lovely and super soft. The other great thing is that there is a deli around the corner which does great breakfast and lunch, and a Starbucks across the road. Also the concierge is extremely helpful with bookings and advice on what to see and do. Staying in this hotel was a truly memorable experience!

The NY Palace is a great spot--very well-located in Midtown. The rooms are a nice size for the city and very nicely appointed. Service is attentive.

Great location near Rock Center; room was spacious & in mint condition as was the rest of the hotel. Will stay again soon.

Wonderful location and very friendly, helpful and well-trained staff. Rooms very attractive, good sized with nice if not exceptional decor. In this day and age a $16 charge for wi-fi is not cool. Prices of breakfast go beyond the high tariffs expected in a hotel of this caliber.
