Fantastic views. Great room service and scrumptious food. Hotel being refurbished which is long due. Will fabulous when finished. Easy parking under hotel or valet. While refurbishment is on check you get standard paid for eg paying for top floor room but given standard room. Have stayed there before and will again.

Still love staying at Observation City but badly in need of a make-over, particularly the rooms. Found reception sadly lacking at times and conceige was always unattended which had people up in arms. Overall though, for ourselves, we love staying there.

Hotel is getting rather tired looking a.. Restaurant expensive but hotel location is good for alternative eating places.. Place can be noisy Friday/Saturday evenings as it is right next to the beach and a popular place for drinking/party-ing

This hotel is comfortable and does the job, and the location is lovely - directly across from the beach. However it is very ambitious to call it a 4.5 star, I'd say its a 3.5 star. Rooms in desperate need of an upgrade. I've stayed at the Rendezvous in Adelaide which is 5 star (so only 0.5 star more than the Rendezvous Perth), but it is leagues apart. I'd stay there again, but you're paying a lot if you think its actually going to be the 4.5 star it claims to be.

I love this hotel and stay here almost every time I'm in Perth. It's a little bit of a drive from the airport, but the beach right across the street is one of my favorites and there are plenty of places within walking distance for food, even a grocery store. The pool is beautiful and underground parking was free with hotel validation. This is a great hotel for a family vacation or romantic getaway.

The hotel is middle-aged, but the facilities are reasonable. There're free newspapers daily (The West Australian and the Australian). Parking is reasonable for guests at $10 per day (ask at the desk). The downside is as usual, the internet access. I thought there would be access, but only certain floors have it. They need to upgrade so all floors have wireless.

*EXPENSIVE *OUTDATED *OTHER THAN BEACH NOT CLOSE TO ANY DECENT SHOPS *ROOM TROUBLES ON ARRIVAL (HAVE HAD THIS BEFORE)

We have stayed here before. This time the room we received was 'conference inspired'. It was right behind the elevators and therefore had an awkward extra room which had a conference table. The elevators were noisy and they may wake some people up. We rang the front desk and asked for a different room. They showed us a beach-front room. We accepted and then waited OVER AN HOUR for the key when finally they had the key ready and they asked for extra money. We were really angry because we were already running late for a function and they had taken 2 hours to check us in. They did give us the correct room that we had paid for but they wouldn't admit their mistake or the bad service. Also there was a balloon/condom? stuck in the air conditioner vent in the original room. Once we got into our correct room we had a good stay. The pool area is good. We would stay again as there are very few choices in Perth.

my husband and i stayed here for 2 nights in oct and it was really lovely. A bit further from the city than I expected but great views of the ocean and nice to walk along the esplanade. the hotel itself was clean and the staff very accommodating. basic tea and coffee facilities and a very comfy bed.we arrived early in the rain and they allowed us to check straight in to change. concierge were very helpful with transport details. great facilities including pool, spa, gym, sauna and tennis courts. only issue was the complimentary shuttle service I was told about, it only leaves when enough people request it and it doesn't leave at a set time so while we had planned to utilise this service we couldn't. bus services also do not service this area directly after 5pm from freemantle so that was a bit of a problem. overall though I would highly recommend this hotel for a clean well priced stay.

Lovely spot and great views of the coastline. Room was fine, except that paint was lifting from the bathroom ceiling. Room service was good, except for a disastrous chicken caesar salad, which was resolved after a discussion with the very pleasant manager. Overall, a nice spot and would recommend.

Hotel was nice, views were beautiful but staff was quite slow. It took the staff member approx. 40 mins to check us in and when they did, they only checked us in for one room and failed to notice that there were two rooms on the booking.

The hotel is ok, but is old and needs some upgrades in a lot of area's. The gym was nice but has no supplies to clean equipment and makes me wonder how clean it is? Internet is only in lobby and wasn't the greatest and cost 3.00 and hour. This should be in the rooms, free, get with the times......

I was originally booked in for 1 night but ended up staying for 3 due to the great location and comfort of the rooms. The one item that takes away from my stay is the daily carpark fee. Given the location of the hotel it is necessary to have a car and while I can understand maybe an initial fee to cover processing costs I think that is is bit cheeky to charge on a daily basis...are you a hotel or a parkade? I don't get the process behind having to pay a charge to bring a vehicle to the hotel. Surely as a paying guest this is something that should be included automatically under the room rate. Apart from that, an enjoyable stay.

Staff were very helpful during the stay. Coffee which was provided with the room but could be a better quality. There was no microwave in the room Should provide larger cups in room for coffee. Rooms were ok, but found it difficult to adjust airconditioner. Rooms could have been warmer? Light comes from passageway under doorway which comes into room - makes it difficult to sleep properly as I normally have a darkened room when I sleep Externally the hotel requires work - needs painting or cleaning of some external walls - makes it look a little bit rundown. Waiting for lift - Always seemed to catch the same lift even though there are 3 lifts in lobby. The area seems nice,

We stayed for a surprise party which was at the surf club across from rendezvous. We had asked if after the birthday boy had checked in they could tell us because their was many of us staying at the hotel and we where hiding so we couldnt be seenand we knew he was going to somewhere else after checking in. But they called when they were checking and they heard the call. When I explained the reason why we wanted to know when they had checked and it had to be secret. That was very sloppy!!!

The frendly helpful staff helped compensate for the worn and dated accomodation. I paid for the Club Spa Floor which entitled me to a nice evening cocktail and Buffet Breakfast. The fixtures in the mildew and stained bath need maintenance and updating. The air conditioner was not working and it took numerious complaints before it was fixed the evening of the second day of my stay. Likewise the advertised internet service was not available but was also repaired the second day of my stay. In general the standards forthe room and balcony where dated, worn and disapointing for a hotel of the claimed quality.

For the price it was definately not worth it. I think they think it's better than it is. It would have been a nice place in it's hay day but needs some serious attention. The bathroom had mould all over the tiles. The fan didn't work. The TV remote was broken. Also the view was disapointing for what I paid. They put us in a room around the side that was advertised as ocean view but half of it was blocked by the building. Apart from all that the service was great. Very friendly helpful staff. The meals were good and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The pool is lovely and has a great gym. But just don't think it's very good value for money.

fantastic location, very clean and tidy hotel, friendly staff would go back again

The room type that we stayed in was good value for money. Great location. Hotel could be maintained a bit better - the shower head and the lock to the sliding door in our room was broken (which meant that it rattled throughout the night as the wind was blowing quite strongly).

This hotel is in a great location with stunning views. The lobby and pool look fantastic, as you'd expect from a 4 1/2 star hotel. But the rooms are small, beds uncomfortable, and bathroom very average - definitely in need of an upgrade. I would recommend this hotel to others only if your priority is location as the price isn't justified otherwise.

I was disappointed with our stay, mostly due to the condition of the room. It was mouldy, uncomfortable, and in desperate need of maintenance/repair. I was reluctant to shower because of the appalling condition of the bathroom. Given the hotel didn't seem busy, and some of the rooms had been refurbished, we were extremely frustrated that we had been allocated a room that had not been refurbished. We wouldn't choose to stay there again, and it was far less than what I had expected.

If you are looking for a hotel that is next to the beach then this is the hotel for you, unfortunately a bit out of central Perth and from the CBD for my liking. Hotel itself was okay but could do with some renovations to smarten it up a bit.

Our first joy was having free parking in the undercover guests car park ( as this was THE day of the BIG HAIL and STORM in Perth ) Our car was safe from all the "nasties". We were on the 20th floor, was a real treat to sit on tne balcony and sip a gin 'n tonic and watch the coast,ocean and surrounds.The road out front was being dug up, made crossing to the restaurants opposite difficult. Room was clean and comfortable, tried the Stanford Arms Bar, part of Raddison, They had a cocktail list, so served them, ordered 2, they don't have cocktail glasses !!, There was a small problem in that coming up to the Hotel level from the guest car park, we have to walk into the lobby, across to big glass doors to the "arcade" to get the lift to our floor. Was a great few days though.

The view was beautiful from the Ocean view room and the room was clean and mostly modern. The bed was comfortable and they fixed the faulty lamp straight away.The bathroom was spotless , To imptove they could clean the outside doors and fix up the paintwork on the balcony. It certainly is a great location on the beach and suited our purpose of being close to Challenger Stadium

Good Location. Service was overall good.

海が見える部屋に宿泊しました。 夕方と朝はバルコニーで景色を楽しみました。 しかし、部屋の照明が暗かったため、翌日のスケジュールをチェックする際に地図を見るのが大変でした。 素敵な環境で居心地の良い部屋なので、もう少し明るかったら、夜も快適だったと思います。

Ein nettes Hotel am Strand. Wenn man ein Zimmer zum Highway (Tankstelle) hin hat, kann es doch sehr laut sein. Die Zimmer zum Meer hin sind ok. Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist gut, aber auch nicht billig. Parken auf dem Hotelparkplatz kostet auch extra. Im grossen und ganzen war das Hotel für meinen Kurzurlaub in Ordnung.

The bewt thing about this hotel is the sorroundings. Scarborough is excellent, the beach fantastic. Otherwise the hotel is not very clean (why do they not clean the seiling/roof at the entrance f. ex. First impressions are important. You can stay here if the prices are not too expensive.

Bay viewのお部屋は眺めは最高です。 目の前にスーパーがありますが、オーストラリアは営業時間が短いので注意。ガソリンスタンドのコンビニで用はすみます。レストランは中華はありませんが必要十分です。酒屋もホテル棟内にあります。公共交通の便はバスと電車でcbdには一時間弱です。費用は僅かです。夜も朝も便数はあります。ツアーも送迎してくれましした。(ピナクルツアー) インド洋の夕陽と静かな環境、ビーチの雰囲気はとてもオーストラリアを満喫できます。ただし日程のきつい人には交通の便から向かないと思います。お部屋も非常にきれいでした。

hotel convenable, un peu bruyant côté climatiseurs, pas très chauffé pour l'hiver, ne pas hésiter à demander un chauffage supplémentaire, la plage est magnifique, le petit restaurant en face est super bon, les petits déjeuners du dôme sont excellents, ne pas manquer le sweet lips à leederville le meilleur fish and chips du coin, le séréna pour sa cuisine diverse juste à côté, et les fameux ribbs de chez tony roma.
