Great Hotel in great location they staff very very heplful about suggestions on where to eat and the restaurants they recommended were great for both price and service.

The Omni Berkshire was great. From the bell hop to the maid service, this place was great. Here is a great story for you. We stayed for only two nights and twice we passed the maid in the hall. We said hello and she was very pleasant...even asked if we needed anything. On the day we checked out, we went back to hotel to get our bags that they offered to keep for us and she passed us in the lobby and she said..."1702, right?" We laughed and said YES! She said...you left a sweater in the closet and it is with security...just use the house phone and call them" Are you kidding me? True story. The entire experience was great. We will go back for sure.

Excellent Hotel for both comfort and centralized to shopping, restaurants and Times Square. Definitely Recommend!

The room, staff and location are all great, but the bathroom needs a little bit of attention. The vent right above the shower is VERY dusty / dirty and seems nobody ever clean that area, made me scared of stuffs dropping from the ceiling vent during shower..

I loved this hotel! Convenient, nice, clean, trendy (enough). I love New York old hotels and this one has been updated so it's great. Amazing value. And you are right at 5th Ave - what more could you want?

I'm a late 30's business traveller and prefer functional and practical aspects moreso than on site amenities etc. so this might not apply to some. Overall, it was a terrific experience with absolute value for the dollar. I own my own business so I'm always watching the bottom line. At Omni NYC you get the comfort and luxury that you want without having to justify the expense. Location is terrific too for fun and shopping. Wife will join me in the future as she will love it!

The staff are very friendly and provided great service. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and subway line. Will stay there again.

We stayed here for a long weekend with our two teenage sons. The rooms were fairly large for the price by New York standards, and were comfortable and clean, being, I think, fairly recently remodeled, with lots of super-fluffly pillows and good closet space, but minimal drawers. Service quite helpful, especially the doormen, with calling cabs, etc. Maids worked around our schedule unobtrusively for the most part. They have a sedan that will take you comfortably to the airport for a flat fee. Breakfast fairly good, but expensive- go across the street to the deli for good food at a lower price. Best thing about this place is the location, at 52nd between Madison and 5th ave, making it reasonably walkable to both Times Square and Central Park, as well as all the great shops on both Madison and 5th. I even walked back from the Metropolitan Museum.. The area feels pretty safe day and evening. Definitely our new favorite hotel in New York!

Great place to stay. Convenient location with friendly staff. Clean and very comfortable room. Our only problem was that we arrived a little after noon on St. Patrick's day. Because this hotel is a block from 5th Avenue, the road was blocked off so we had to park several blocks away and drag our luggage through heavy crowds of "green" revelers. The hotel was haven from the chaos in the streets. They also do a nice breakfast buffey, but a bit pricy.

Excellent hotel and staff. Great location

I’ve been to many different hotels and this hotel was no surprise. Very nice location, minutes walk to Rockefeller Square, Times Square and Central Park. We booked two rooms and despite the fact that the hotel was booked solid we got them right nest to each other. I really have nothing bad to say about our stay, even more – it was one of our most pleasant trips ever.

The hotel is in an excellent location. You are near everything and the best part is that you are not in the middle of Time Square. The room was pretty big and cozy! The bathroom pretty big and the bathtub was a plus because after a whole day walking in the city there is nothing better than to treat your feet with a nice hot water. The only thing I experience was that the hotel had some problems with the hot water and it took them like six hours to fix so I was able to get a shower at 1 o'clock in the morning. That was a little disappointed because the one thing you expect to have is a nice hot water bath, plus the hotel did not offer anything for our troubles, not even a discount!

Great location, clean room, nice staff. The concierge was incredibly helpful in finding great places to eat. Decent price for New York. Only complaint: bed could have been more comfortable.

Very convenient location. Staff courteous and helpful.

The omni berkshire was a first class hotel in a first class location. It is very convenient to the theater district, shopping, and Central Park.

Clean, comfortable, hip, super convenient. Valet, bellman were great. Front desk could had been a little more personable. I was happy with the early check in! Very accommodating. 4 coffees, 2 juice, 2 yogurts, 1 banana, bagel was $82.00! Wow, it's NY so it's expected!

Updated and in a great location! Clean and well appointed. Staff was more than friendly and extremely helpful. If the price is right, I'll be staying there again.

hotel was great but the breakfast was lousy.

Found excellent deal on hotels.com and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff at the Omni Berkshire Place were extremely helpful and friendly, especially the doormen and the maintenance person who delivered a roll-away bed for our child. Very comfortable room, excellent location. Will gladly stay there again any time.

The hotel was clean, our room was quiet and large, had a nice view of the city and all of the staff were friendly and courteous. The location is perfect if you are there to see a show, walk Central Park, walk Times Square, tour Rockefeller Center, eat and drink at the Irish pubs, tour St. Patrick's Cathedral and if you travel by train to Penn Station. The city view from the viranda by the fitness center was a bonus. We were a little curious why the room didn't have a brochure describing the hotel's ammenities and where they were located. Other than that, GREAT place to stay in NYC. Loved it!

not a thing went wrong during our three night stay. staff was friendly and helpful. concierge suggestions turned out to be good. terrific location.

An amazing and relaxing experience. I called ahead to ensure that we had a nice private and quiet room, and the hotel was more than happy to comply. They even gave us a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate our one year/valentines day celebration. They also upgraded our room to a king size bed for free. I would definitely return to spend a night in the city at this hotel.
