Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing - بكين

We had booked a room as a 'hot deal', a superior room with free internet, said the confirmation. Upon arrival the hotel tried to deny this. I showed them the printed confirmation and then was told we had to pay a hefty amount per day to use the desktop in the room. Or we could plug in our own device. Since I had an iPad, i had to come down to the lobby to check my email on the wifi down there. When are luxury hotels going to realise they have to stop trying to make money out of internet services? It is mean, when I know that all over the world budget hotels and youth hotels offer wifi in their whole building for free. Secondly don't use the safe. The staff are not careful with the emergency unlocking code, which we needed. Otherwise a good hotel with nice gym, pool and breakfast.

For the price, this hotel was fantastic. The location was central to several of the big sites. While the decor and amenities in the room were a little "90s", we found the hotel comfortable and hospitable. The concierge in particular was wonderful! They helped us to arrange for a car to take us around, get a taxi wherever we needed to go... and they even wrote out how to order tickets for the train in Chinese for us. In particular, Everest was a great help!

This is a good value compared to the major hotels with high costs. It's clean and the staff is very helpful. the food buffets were very good and a good value.

Trip was a busines trip with a little time for sight seeing. Overall hotel was very adequate. The front desk personel were very helpful and spoke excelent English. The main floor restaraunt had a good and reasonable buffet for breakfast and dinner. There were good western choices in addition to the Chinese. Avoid the second floor Chinese restarunt unless you are very familiar with local food. The servers had very little English and ordering from the menu pictures was difficult. Prices were expensive. Worst part of the experience was finding the hotel. Coming from the airport no one knew where the hotel was. I had printed out the Hotels.com description with the addres and the map from your web site. The map was wrong! My cab driver got lost twice. It took almost two hours and the cab driver calling the hotel for what should have been a 45 miuite trip. Hotels.com should have a print out with address and phone # in the local language and an accurate map to hand a cab driver. This was my first trip to Beijing and I had no knowledge of the city or the language.

Typically, there is no way to get a reservation at the oldest continuous Peking Duck Restaurant in the world, Quan Ju De. Some how, the hotel has a special deal with the restaurant and was able to get us a same day reservation. This fact alone makes it a must stay hotel in Beijing!!!

Situate at Wangfujing, Prime Hotel is near to where the vibe is and where the sites are. Though staff's English could be improved, they did try very hard and are enabled to show us around. One downer is that the place smells if smoke everywhere, as businessmen smoke around disregarding prohibitive policies.

All in all a good experience. Excellent service by staff. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location is good regarding to shopping center, but to get to a good restaurant you need to take a taxi. the problem is getting back. We often had a hard time finding a taxi back for various reasons. The food in the hotel started out bad, but after commenting on it, they made a big effort to improve on quality and variety. This service approach commendable. Room service dinners however do not have enough options to choose from. From the downsides, the biggest problem for us was an unstable internet connection from the rooms and (when we were there) no connection at all from the lobby.

I stayed at this hotel due to its location. I was travelling with two kids, so decided to splash out on a club room. Despite notifying the hotel ahead of time that an extra bed was required, the room had none. In fact, the club room was so small it could not fit an extra bed, so we had to move down to an ordinary room which was bigger (no perceptible difference in style either). Despite not having a club room anymore (prepaid) the hotel had the cheek to charge extra for the spare bed. At breakfast the next day, they said my nine year old daughter should pay fro breakfast because she was as tall as the waitress (my daughter is not tall, the waitress was small). Aside from the lack of any appology by management, I would point out that the restraunt on the 2nd floor is supurb and well worth dining in. The rest of the staff are friendly and fairly efficient.

This hotel had a great location near all of the tourist sites. We were in a non-smoking floor but there were still a ton of people smoking. The concierge was very helpful. We would highly recommend the Great Wall tour to Badaling. DO NOT TAKE A RICKSHAW! They are a scam!

This hotel is OK but for a little extra money you could get a lot better. It's certainly a lot more on the 4 than the 5 star side of things. The hotel's showing its age and the breakfast ain't great. Plus, for anyone going here to get close to Tiananmen square be warned its at least a 30 minute walk (I'm a fast walker). If value's more you're thing then go for it.

Good value hotel in good location. Hotel works with good tour group ( max. of about ten people in tour). Rooms a bit cluttered, A/C struggleing to cope with June heat Service friendly, but a bit confusing due to lack of English

Wonderful hotel. Great buffet for breakfast and dinner. I loved the room. I would stay there again

Not the 5 star hotel I anticipated. I would not go there again. Not worth the price I paid.

I'm used to smokey environments in Asia, but this was bad. Elevators filled with smokers. Our room, which was supposedly on a no-smoking floor, reeked of smoke. The food was sad, oily, and very expensive. Good location. The service staff was nice enough. Overall, this one is for local business people who don't mind the brown haze in the air.

Hotel is located about 10 min away from Dongsi station in the northern end of Wangfujing, which is not where shopping is. Hotel is reasonably comfortable and a value for money.

had wife and 20-somethings along. good hotel, good location, laundry was a bit pricey, but overall reasonable. very convenient, very clean.

Good hotel in "Old Beijing" walking distance from the forbiden city.

The hotel itself is quite nice for the price. The location was most important to me - very close, walking distance, to major shops, street markets & malls. The staff is very polite & helpful. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive... so eat there only when necessary. I enjoyed the gym, with free-weights, treadmills & TV. The room was pretty much as expected. No frills. Got a good rate from hotels.com. I would stay there again. In China, always make sure to have the taxi put you on the meter. If they don't, they'll overcharge you.. and keep an eye on the meter at all times... then, the taxis are cheap.

Loved it. The staff were so friendly and nice. We were on honeymoon and they upgraded us. Great concierge, fab spacious rooms. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I have stayed at many Beijing hotels in this price range. THe Prime is past it's prime but still offers decent value. THe room and bedding were extremely comfortable. THe pool and locker room were dated and depressing. THe location was good in a macro sense by a little bit of a walk to the nearest subway and a pretty decent walk to the heart of Wangfujing. All in all, I would stay here again.

Close to many touristic location although you can get into a traffic jam sometimes. Room quality is good and spacious. We were particularly very pleased with the body relaxing massage.

This hotel has all the benefits, room accoutrements and full services of any 4 star hotel I have ever been a guest resident. It has a more local feeling and flavor and caters to a more Chinese clientele than a Grand Hyatt or other American chains. I found this much more interesting than a US hotel catering to an American or European elite. The price a bargain, Location is the best and walkable to local stores and 5 star hotels, historical sites, and fine restaurants. I highly recommend it.

The hotel itself is very good but not very convenient. To go to the shopping center, we have to take the subway or the cab. The subway is about 5 min walk. But nearby there are salons and McDonalds, so it's not so bad. The buffet is very good. I enjoyed this hotel itself.

It was everything that hotels.com claimed. Location was excellent for walking or short taxi ride to our places of interest. A reminder to fellow travelers: Especially in Beijing, have hotel names, restaurants, or other destinations in Chinese. At the airport we had difficulty getting a taxi because we were not aware of this. We only had the hotels.com confirmation with us.

Prime Hotel is a good hotel to stay in Beijing. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel location is also nearby shopping places and restaurants. I definitely will stay in the same hotel if I ever come to Beijing again.

従業員の対応というか教育が全く行き届いてません。 　まず、クラブフロアのラウンジにて何しに来た？みたいな対応でクラブフロアの意味がありません。 ちなみに１週間の滞在でしたが２度ほど利用で２度とも何しにきたの？みたいな対応でした。 　次に絆創膏ありませんか？との問い合わせにごめんなさいありませんとのことでした。これに関しては自分で用意していなかったのが悪いのですが、ホテルならそれくらい用意していてもいいと思います。 ２人で利用でしたが、毎日お部屋で泊スリッパが１足しか 新しいものに変更していただけなかったです。 全体的に気が効かないというか、次回は外資系のホテルの利用を考えてしまいます。

왕푸징의 도심에 위치하고 있어 백화점과 쇼핑몰등을 이용하기 편리하며, 객실의 디자인이 훌륭하고 특히 침구류가 매우 깨끗하여 쾌적하게 사용할 수 있었습니다. 또한 아침 조식 뷔폐가 매우 훌륭하였습니다.

Ett mycket bra hotell för alla som vill besöka beijing. Vi, Jag, min sambo & vår son ca1år. Bodde på hotellet i fyra dygn. Alla var ytterst hjälpsamma i alla avseenden och standarden var hög. Alla försöker prata engelska men det är inte alla som är så jätte bra på det. Det går utmärkt att ta taxi till hotellet men faktum var att det var lättare att åka tunnelbana för att undvika trafiken. Åka bara till Dongsi, gå upp i den nord-västra uppgången sväng vänster sedan är det bara att gå raktfram när ni kommer till nästa stora korsning ligger hotellet på eran vänstra sida.

Schade für dieses Hotel, dass der Service immer so schlecht. Das Rezeptionspersonal ist immer sehr unfreundlich. In der Lobby gibt es nicht eine einzige Sitzmöglichkeit. Die Zimmer haben die beste Zeit schon hinter sich...

Das Hotel liegt in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Fußgängerzone, zum Tiananmen-Platz und zur verbotenen Stadt. Von daher gibt es absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Auch der Zimmerpreis spricht klar für das Hotel. Kritik ist hingegen angebracht in folgenden Punkten: - überaus langwieriger & umständlicher Check-In, - stark überhöhte Preise in der Hotel-Lobby (88 Yuan für 1 Tasse Tee sind Wucher), - Aufpreise für jede Kleinigkeit im Zimmer, - keinerlei Entgegenkommen bei Wunsch nach späterem Check-Out.

Hotel sauber und gepflegt, in sehr guter Lage von Peking (verbotene Stadt zu Fuß erreichbar) und mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Zimmer sehr gut, Frühstück im Hotel gut, Service an der Rezeption manchmal unfreundlich. Sonderwünsche, wie z.B. Late Check-out bei Nachtflug) scheint es nicht geben zu dürfen. Aber durchaus empfehlenswert.

Bra hotell som ligger en liten halvtimes gange fra Den himmelske fredens plass og Den forbudte by (hvis man vet veien). En del butikker i nærheten. Bruk de hotellansatte som står i døren til å bestille taxi og forklare hvor du skal. Så er sjansen for å bli lurt betydelig mindre. Hotellet er flott - typisk byhotell av 4 stjerners klasse. Fine rom og forøvrig bra.

Персонал не говорил по английски В предложенном номере на троих (двое взрослых и ребенок 11 лет) - одна кровать

Este hotel aunque algo clásico y de una cadena china tiene muy buen servicio, con personal que habla inglés correctamente y aunque no está exactamente céntrico (las distancias en Beijing son amplias) no está lejos de la principal calle comercial aunque la ciudad prohibida queda algo lejos.

とても快適でした．欧米人の宿泊が多いせいか，スタッフが英語に堪能で，コミュニケーションに困ることはありませんでした．9FのNo smoking floorに泊まりましたが，まったく不快な臭いもありません．部屋はとても広く，外出したくなくなるほどの寝心地のよいベッドでした．エアコンもバッチリです．バスマットやバスローブがなかった時に，客室係に問い合わせた際も迅速な対応でした．王府井にも，最寄の地下鉄へ行くにも徒歩7－8分です．ホテルの南側に小さなコンビニがあり，缶ビールの購入はその店で．地下鉄の利用は非常にcomfortableです．サイト内のホテルの位置表示にミスがあります．

Good value for money. all the attributes of a very good hotel and no need to spend easily double the amount in the nearby hotels. Downside:Check-out unnecessarily cumbersome with awkward staff the map posted on hotel;com is totally wrong and not even near the ACTUAL location which is a bit off center in reality and at the far end of Wangfujing ave.
