Stayed for two nights, rooms are clean and much bigger than average. Very convenient for business in the downtown area.

I loved staying in this hotel Room was large and very comfortable Very convenient to the White House and Monuments I would stay there again

I'm used to the Hotel Monaco and the service and rooms are amazing! Because it was so last minute, we had to book the Hotel Rouge. And it definitely didn't live up to the normal Kimpton standards I am used to, but it wasn't terrible. i'll be honest in saying the room was big and clean, but that was about as positive as I can get..

A bit of an outdated modern style. Clean. Service was fair. Walls are paper-thin. View was horrible. No fan in the bathroom.

We did have a really good stay. The parking is really expensive.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful in every way. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and appetizers every evening at 5:00. Location was good for walking to the Mall, White House, and other sites.

Good hotel. However, small miscellaneous as tooth paste were missing...the shampoing and conditionner are distributed in dribs and drabs. Could be better.

We LOVED staying here! We were attending a show at the 930 club and wanted to stay some where close enough for a cheap cab ride but not spend an insane amount of money on a hotel or stay somewhere stale or pretentious. Rouge fit the bill for us in all ways possible! The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very pretty and stylish. Our room was fantastic! We had an amazing king bed with a really cool red leather headboard, a retro mini fridge stocked with really interesting snacks and a huge bathroom. We had no complaints what so ever. We will stay at Rouge from now on when ever in D.C. :)

I loved the Rouge. Their service was great and they made sure that I was taken care of. The staff was amazing and understood that I needed an extra hand and on items on my business trip.

The staff at the Rouge is great! The location is quiet yet close to many good restaurants and the Metro. Downtown DC is just a walk away. Our room was spotless. A find if you do not have to be in the immediate downtown area.

Great hotel with classy funky decor. Walking distance to great restaurants. Love the wine hour at check in. Staff was very welcoming.

I love my stay and my bedroom in Hotel Rouge. I was with my husband and 2 children and we enjoy a lot. It is near everything we need.

Service was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was nice, but needs a face-lift to it's artsy 90's style. But there was no parking at the hotel except for a (very) expensive valet service and parking nearby was very difficult.

The hotel's decor is great, and the overall physical condition is excellent. The room and lobby were very clean, and the hotel's toiletries are high quality. However, the hotel did not have the type of room available we paid for in advance, and were absolutely unapolagetic. Breakfast was also horrible, and the hotel's restaurant fare is overpriced. Overall, this hotel could be a great destinaton if staff were more hospitable.

Hotel was everything I look for in a hotel. Staff was nice, check-in was easy, room was nice, clean, and even spacious. A winner!!

This place is a hidden gem. Everything was done well and the detail is incredible. The only issue was that there was no ability to control the room temperature. Other than that, the place rocked and I'd definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at other Kimpton hotels and I was expecting that level of a hotel experience. Unfortunately there are issues with this Kimpton property. First, there is no parking so if you drive to the hotel you will have to pay 39.95 per day plus tax for their valet service (that does not include tipping the valet) or you can risk/try street parking. Next, besides Lucas who works the bar the rest of the stay is rather abrupt like they do not like their job. I travel for business and/or pleasure 3 weeks a month and if it wasn't for Lucas I would not stay at another Kimpton property.

Very pleasant staff, room was clean and restaurant was good.

Large room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Safe in room-good. Very quiet. In room temperature control of hvac was excellent. We visit our son every Thanksgiving for 3-4 days and I have stayed in almost every hotel around Logan Circle, including one of yours, the Helix and this time I found the jewel ....the Rouge was definitely the best I've stayed in. We also enjoyed the upscale continental breakfast especially on Thanksgiving morning when very few restaurants are open.

I thought everyone was there was kind, helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice. Not into all the stock art on the walls, but... it's a hotel. The restaurant and bar were also very good. I wish they would stay open later. Like midnight or so? I don't understand why hotels close their bar and encourage guests to go out on the town when you're perfectly comfortable there. The rates were very reasonable and I feel I got more than I paid for. I come to DC often and have stayed at other Kimptons while in town. This is one that I'll certainly be back to and soon. Like.... Monday?

I like the color sceme of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cordless phone in my room needed to be sanitized. It looked dirty. Overall, I like the environment of the hotel and I will book a room there on my next trip back to D.C.

Great place and a great price.

My fiancee' loved it and we will be back!

Overall our stay was okay once we arrived to our room we tried flushing the toilet and realized that it was clogging up we called the front desk and they told us their "engineer" would not be able to fix the problem until the next morning. They told us they could not switch us to another room because they were sold out I am not sure if this was true but it was quite an inconvenience. Also when we arrived the elevator smelled like vomit.

A great boutique hotel with spacious and nicely appointed rooms at very competitive cost. A+.

This hotel is in a great location, just a few blocks away from The Whitehouse. What was not noted at the time of booking in to the hotel was the volume of pets permitted - the hotel at times feels like it's being over run by dogs. I was here on business and the location was close to my office but as a business person I was not able to take advantage of the wine in the evening because it runs 5.00pm until 6.00pm. For business people and paying for the higher standard of room I would have wished for a drinks voucher over the set 1hr of wine drinking.

great service from Check-in to Bell Boy, bar service ..it was all friendly and very very good. Rooms were a nice size, had all the usual stuff and decor was upbeat and modern. I'd eat out somewhere else , the bar menu was limited and simple and a little average, but the bar itself was cosy..and everyone was helpful and friendly.

good value, with just enough style to feel fresh. Roomy room; good location.

From the moment I entered the Rouge, I sensed that this would be a memorable experience. I was greeted by the hotel staff and quickly checked in. I then proceeded to my room, opened the door and could not believe what I saw! Vibrant red colors, modern decor eclectic designs....I had just found my favorite new boutique hotel. Moments later I was texting this same message to a good friend. I plan on making this my new go to hotel when I am in Washington, DC. The valet parking is great, the staff was amazing and the amenities in the room far and away the best I have encountered. Exactly how I would run and manage a hotel. Looking forward to my next business trip to DC now!

Some girlfriends and i stayed at hotel rouge for a bride to be bachelorette party. It has great decor and got a free bottle of wine and cheese. We were able to walk to local bars and resturants. Everyone there was friendly and very helpful. Would definetly stay there again.

The vallet needs to be more professional. There attitudes are poor and treat your car like there in the daytona 500.
