If you are dependent upon WiFi you may not want to stay at this property. Though the WiFi is free and "open" the quality and availability depends upon your location in the property due to the patchwork way in which the guest network is constructed. Also, except for one day shift maintainence man, support for IT problems is non-existent and communications of guest problems / requests being relayed from one shift to another for action is non-existent. As we did, upon arrival you may find a problem with something in the room because housekeeping doesn't report any maintainence proplems to anyone.

I liked the place alot. Very clean and pleasant.

The hotel was ok, the only problem was that we bought an excursion in a Fury boat, they sold all the sunset view, and with that terrible weather nobody could see anything. WE spent a lot of money for nothing, but the hotel again was fine.

With as much as they charge you would think they could do a better job. The carpet was filthy, the room was in disrepair, the WiFi was not strong enough in our room and we had to sit in the lobby too use it, they don't offer breakfast. I will never stay there again unless I have no other option.

Shockingly bad. From cigarette burns on the bedspreads to trash left in the garbage cans, I was appalled.

We've stayed at the Days Inn - Key West on numerous occasions. It's generally a comfortable place to stay for an aging property well away from the downtown partiers. Two big negatives stand out: Walking barefoot across the carpet, my feet turned filthy; When we were gone for 5 hours, housekeeping couldn't even be bothered to put in fresh towels. When I called the front desk, rather than rectify the problem the young man took an accusatory tone, attempting to blame me for having the "do not disturb" sign on the door...which I did not. I've stayed in a hotel before, I know how this works. Will we stay there again? Maybe. It tends to be the least exorbitantly overpriced of the hotels in Key West which meet my "acceptable" standard.

This is the cleanest of all the Day's In hotels that we stayed in. Would stay there again.

This motel was more than we expected. Very clean and courteous staff. Rooms were large and the pool was very nice.

i asked for a non smoking room and got a smoking room , it smelled like an ash tray , tried for 3 days for staff to get the telephone in the room to work so we could use our phone card to call england , they didn,t do the phone for us , obviously wanted us to call direct and pay a fortune , spring break kids loud although i know thats not 100% hotel fault , we had friends stop in lovely accomodation near duvel street for less money , wouldn,t use the hotel again , very unhelpful staff

Price high for quality. Best feature was the free shuttle service to town.

The people at the hotel were helpful. The free shuttle service was a plus and the gal that ran the service was great. We had 2 suites that were suppose to be non smoking. One of them had been smoked in. It also had a water leak that we fixed. The carpet next to the bathroom had a wet area where the water had been leaking. The battery in the smoke alarm needed replacement (was beeping). I told the office and it still wasn't fixed when we left. It was spring break and bike week so you had to put up with some noise but the staff did a good job of keeping thse people isolated from the rest of the guests.

The front desk clerk was especially NICE... her name was Laura... and she was the Best.... very helpful and always took time with us...They are lucky to have her..Please pass this on to the Days Inn in Key West

On check in, I asked for an easy accessible room. We got a 2nd floor room. After getting our luggage up to the room, I turned on the A/C. The noise was very, very loud. I called the front desk and asked to talk to the manager. I was talking to the manager! I said the room was unacceptable. After a pause, the manager offered a first floor, pool side room. She brought up a luggage cart and helped move to the new room. A lamp had a torn shade and the furniture was well worn. After getting our stuff stowed, we went to check out the pool. The gate was locked and the pool taped off. It was closed. My wife went to the front desk and was told that State of Florida had closed their pool. We were not told at check in. I proceeded to find another hotel and checked out of Days Inn the next morning.Our main reason for choosing Days Inn was the pool. We should have been notified that the pool was closed and should have been offered assistance to find another hotel.

Very nice hotel, close to the trolley and hotel shuttle.

We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Although we were a distance from Duval Street the shuttle service was very good, drivers friendly, and never had to wait more than 15 minutes. Only loud rap music on a shuttle ride home was a little annoying - lol. A little sad we could not use our reward card. Not sure how much we may have saved but using this service. We enjoyed Key West very much.

The rooms were dirty, the toilet didn't work and had to call for maintenance. Bathroom fan made loud noise then finally just quit working all together. Towels, cloths and sheets stained. Carpet very stained and dirty, bathroom floor behind door not moped or swept. Tub stained.

Key West is a great get away destination. The Days Inn while not a 5 star hotel, is a reasonalbly priced stay. The island is small so getting around is made easy by using the shuttle service from the hotel to the attractions on the other end of the island.

The location was the best part of the hotel the rug in the room was filthy the bed spead was stained with what looked like nail polish or paint and they charge for drinks and wi-fi even if you don't use them

Rates were reasonable but hotel was dated and not very clean. We are finding that the days inn name no longer stands for quality.

Hotel is very old and dirty. Microwave was rusty and Nast. Bed linen was dirty. Me and my wife where very uncomfortable. Do not going in there if u have choice of another hotel

Overall, it was only okay. There was no ashtray available for a smoking room, and the water in the dirty bathtub never drained. We couldn't seem to get it fixed. But the room was comfortable -- and most of your time is not spent there. You should know that there is no small refrigerator or microwave, but there is a coffeemaker. Cabs are available if you don't want to drive and the hotel has a shuttle that can take you to the beach.

The room they arranged us is between two rooms that live the same group of people. They talk loud, laugh, drink, just outside our room standing in the hallway from 7pm to 12pm, consecutive two days. Very noisy and can't get asleep. No manager came and checked what happened. They don't treat guests' comfort or quiet rest seriously. Keep away with this hotel!

We were disappointed that our deadbolt lock on our door did not work. The outside lights did not come on and we had to call the desk to tell them to turn them on cuz it made it very scary to come in and go out at night. The complimentary bus ride wasn't complimentary... they charged a 8.99 per night to use the shuttle, coffee @ tea in the lobby but it was advertised as free, ??? We had a smoking room but no ashtray to be found. When we asked for one, they said they are limited and didn't have one to give us.

I was with my family. 3 teenagers, that is not a good location for the teens.But, Key West is expensive as you move south, closer to Duvall.Very heavy traffic in the area where the hotel is at the entrance of the south part of the island. It is OK, that is all

the pool was not open due to reconstruction which was quite disapointing since it was quite warm and we booked it because it had a pool., the mattresses were quite old- lumpy and they leaned to one side, the linens and pillow were good, the shuttle service dowtown was great, We got a free continental breakfast for the pool being out of service, BUt the breakfast was toast or muffins only, and they only had 2 banana muffins left and 8 blueberry muffins and we were the first ones in the restaurant.!The muffins crumbled in your hands. Very disappointing!

I was afraid to touch a single item in that room

Originally a 2 night stay at the Days Inn that I streatched to 3 nights. Overalll I was satisfied with my stay. Days Inn is a economy hotel and you get what you pay for. The concierge (sp) that sits in the hotel lobbey, not employed by Days Inn was extreamly helpful and I didnt know I even needed anything as I had been in Key West a number of times. Days Inn provided FREE shuttle service to the downtown area with 3 stops, another plus. The only downside for my group was that this service ended everyday at 1130pm. The only problems I had, were of my own creation and the hotel dealt with them professionally and promptly.

I will never stay at this hotel again, the beds was very uncomfortable, the pillows had very little stuffing, the carpet in my buddies room was soaked you could hear water running down the wall in the closet this is what soaked the carpet & to top it all off had to listen to 3 roosters outside of our rooms crowing all night. I travel all the time & will have to say this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.

We liked everything

We felt , the hotel it self needs to be upgraded. Beds were fine but the rest of furniture needed to be up dated, Including bathroom..shower curtain loose.from 1-10..it was a 5

Stayed for one-night (really about 7 hours total @ hotel), and most of that time was sleeping off a night of drinking; so take this review based on that info... The room was was fairly clean with little to no odor, everything worked as it should, and the front-desk personnel and concierge were great.

Front desk staff were helpful and the out door pool was heated, which was welcomed during our Dec. Stay. This is a very basic hotel and aging. There was no in room safe, although advertised, no refrigerator or microwave. Free shuttle helped since this location is on the entry to Key West, not near any sights and parking downtown is difficult.

It was about what I expected for the price. Anytime I see a hair belonging to a previous guest in the bathroom, I immediately question the cleanliness of the room. The carpet also seemed like it could use a good steam clean. What bothered me most, however, was the additional service charge that was above the full amount I paid via Hotels.com. I had no idea I was going to be charged an extra hotel service fee for things I would not be using (e.g., shuttle to downtown area). I was not in a position to go somewhere else, so I had to pay.
