Great value, updated room, great staff, great food, very pleased!

we booked this for the free airport and cruiseterminal shuttle. The airport shuttle took 1 1/2 hour and the cruise terminal one didn't leave until 1:30 pm

Except for getting a street room, the room was perfect for our needs. The room was dated but exceptionaly clean. The best ammenity of this hotel was the proximity to a hole in the wall, dumply looking fish & chip place serving GREAT food.

The hotel was fine which I'm used to better, however, because we had an extremely large party I stayed where the majority stayed due to their budget. The hotel actually turned out to be okay. The room was clean and bed was comfortable for my one night stay. Can't complain about the complimentary breakfast either...nice set up. The wash clothes.....VERY dingy looking. No matter how many times we asked for a replacement all were dingy looking. My suggestion would be to buy new ones.

Don't stay there very bad nothing nice at all

in short would never stay again.

I had a lot of difficulty getting the electronic door lock to work despite repeated visits to the front desk. It took as many as 15-20 attempts to get it to work.

We didn't expect too much, but it was better than those we stayed before. Very close to I-95, pretty clean, with small refrigerator and microwave.

We were told we would have free shuttle from airport,we called for 15 minutes got no answer or was disconnected,had to pay $30.00 FOR A cab.Hotel was supposed to be within walking distance to restaurants we could not find one. Had to take your shuttle bus everywhere at $25 $30 each trip. The girl that ran front desk was helpful This hotel needs major improvements

Just managed to stomach this place for a one nighter before a cruse. Room stunk of mildew, and for a non-smoking room it smelled of cigarettes too. Carpet was nasty. If you get a street facing room, bring your earplugs Very loud traffic all night. Pool area run down and unsightly. Upside? -Shuttle service was quick and free. Breakfast was decent. No meat & powdered eggs but the continental was acceptable. Went to Hilton Airport & Cruiseport North on Griffin Road on my way back. MUCH NICER. Spend the extra $10 there!

Worst hotel I ever stayed in.. Poor service, trashy hotel, and purposely miss guided you to believe it was a high quality hotel. I could not even sleep because there was no blankets and it was very dirty. Wrong hotel for anyone specially if your going On a cruise.. I would not rent these rooms to people who could not afford shelter. I hope you read these before you book and if you already purchased get a refund before its to late and your disappointed.. It's the first time I stay in a hotel where I could see the outside looking through the room door. The door seemed too little for the door frame.

This hotel has seen better days. Nothing quality about it. We chose it because it had an airport shuttle only to learn they only go once an hour and thus we'd need to leave at 5 am for a 7 am flight. The staff were poorly trained and clueless about their computer and other systems, took forever to just get checked in while they muttered and mumbled to each other. Maid service must be the same as rooms weren't ready until 2 hours after the 3 p.m. check-in time. Just not professional. Was close to freeway, but not to restaurants, etc. Won't go there again.

This is the worst hotel, staff were very rude, then we got to our room and the door didn't shut, the bathroom was dirty and there were no towels, sleeping was not an option because it is located on the main road and with the door not able to close you could hear every sound.the only decent part of the hotel was that they have a free airport shuttle to get you away from the place.

the hotel does not run its own shuttle service, it is 11 minutes from the airport but after waiting 40miutes I ended up taking a taxi for $21.00. The next day I needed to go to the airport to pick up my rental car, they said that taking the shuttle would cost $20. The elevators were dirty, with veneer stripped from walls, slow and irregular.There was no one at the desk at 7am on the morning I left.

Room was smelly, glad we were only there one night, but the charge vs the state of the room would not go there again.

The hotel had several guests that were waiting for rooms when we arrived. Our reservation was handled promptly because we had not requested any special arrangements. No apparent sense of urgency to handle the growing discontent amongst all guests...sort of disappointing.

One of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. Stayed here due to convenience to the airport for an early morning flight. Quality Inn is generally a reliable decent basic hotel at a fair price. This hotel was not decent and the price was double what a typical Quality Inn costs. Check in awful. Property in poor condition. They offer a shuttle service for cruise and airport customers - thankfully we were not on need of this service. It appeared that everyone that was using this service was very unhappy. Never, ever again n

Friendly staff tough neighbourhood. The place is very old. But I had fun.

The facilities are dated and in poor repair. The pool was dirty and unusable. I had to switch rooms upon arrival at 5 in the afternoon because my initial room had not been cleaned. The manager was very good about changing my room. The location was great. My room itself that I ended up in was good. The pillows were too small and hard.. The matress was fine. I only had breakfast 1 morning because it didnt start until 7am and I had to be at my location by 730. Too bad , that was one reason I chose this hotel.

The service of the front desk was exceptional, very friendly and helpful, specially during night shifts. The rate is very good, but they don't change your sheets daily :( even when asked. The elevators are horrible inside (but you are not sleeping inside the elevator..hahaha), you can travel easily to to different areas of Fort Lauderdale, it very centralized.. on overall...its ok!

Room definitely NOT worth the expense. Some re-modeling had been done but it was very sloppy. The room smelled very bad (moldy/dusty). I would certainly NOT stay here again.

Great location outstanding break fast

The only problem we had was with the airport pick-ups. No one told us this was known as the Holiday Inn North. The drivers kept saying they weren't going to our hotel. Some of us waited a LONG time to get a shuttle.

I would never stay there again.

Reserved a kiing room - I got a double - the worst room in the hotel. Door lock was compromised, it had obviously been broken in to - sawed off metal plates, screws falling out . i was afraid to leave the room with my belongings in it. fortunately, there was a meal delivery service. it had a musty smell that made breathing a challenge. the only thing good was the shuttle service. the hotel had changed ownership, since i reserved earlier, they had to meet the Day's Inn commitment I got the shaft I will never stay there again

We were facing the highway and it was very noisy sleeping. The breakfast room was very small and there was nowhere close to eat any meals. The hotel was filled to capacity and the shuttle to the cruise was running behind the time that we were scheduled. The room that we were told was a king and double bed and the room had only a king. The room was clean and there was a micro, refrig, coffee pot and iron and ironing board.

Promised transport to the port was a joke. Completely inadequate. Undersized van meant that waiting for this transport was a minimum of one hour. We took a taxi after waiting an hour and 15 minutes, and with 50 or 60 people waiting for the van which accomodated ~ 15.

Just stayed there to get onto cruise ship. Great location for Everglades port with shuttle. Rooms are clean. A tiny bit run down. Bathroom was great size wise and modernized, Room is very small. It was quiet location. Staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Continental breakfast was great. The breakfast room was small, but we were told they are working on expanding it to make it more comfortable. Nice neighborhood with everything close by.

This was the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed in. We were supposed to have a king bed and a queen, did not exist on the property. First they tried to give us a room with a king only, then moved us to a room with two queens. Very, very old and sad! Very expensive for the quality. Do not waste your money, you will be disappointed!!!

We reserved one King and One Double bed - We got two doubles and we were told by the desk person - that the website was out of date and needs to be updated . We are disappointed that we were not provided with the accomodations that we reserved. The hotel did provide a place close to where we wanted to be. Lastly - the room was not very clean - especially the bathroom and one of the pillows had what appeared to be a blood stain on the pillow - needless to say we put that on the floor - not to be touched again

Hotel is still undergoing renovations. This is an older hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. Also they have pickup/dropoff to airport and cruiseport. Good value.

All in all everything was OK , staff very helpful. Top three floors renovated, elevator WORKED! Would stay there again. Dave B
