Clean rooms, hospitable staff and great price.

It was pleasent

sleeping directly on highway, dirty, unfriendly personal, never again.

totally unaware of miami and its suburbs, I made this reservation due to it being close to the highway, not far from airport, and its amenities stated it had an on location restaurant. the entire facility had seen its better days! upon arrival our first room had a broken air condition, our second room lacked towels and the tv shot craps (the only two things in the room besides beds)! now with all that being said....the staff were friendly and apologetic. the resturant (seperately owned amd operated) was fantastic! the food and atmosphere was great! thank goodness....cause we would have starved.....the neighborhood was quite scary!

location is great for what I needed.

If I have to go back to Miami, this is the hotel I will be staying at again. True enough, it's a little noisey but that's only because you're close to the airport and the interstate. The noise never affected my husbands or my sleep. The staff was great. They let me in on a little information I didn't know. Since I was going on a cruise, the shuttle took us to Port of Miami free. We tipped everytime. Everything was great about this hotel to me.

The hotel is typical for a 2 star and price paid. The location was good for us, between the Airport and the Port of Miami. Although the hotel was so-so, the pool was clean and the water at the right temperature. We enjoyed it. We would stay there again as a one night before a flight or cruise.

I will not stay again. I will have to change room two times as the maintenance of shower knob as well as wet floor in the sink area.

It was great and everyone was very nice. Great location for what I needed. Would stay again!

Within walking distance to Jackson Memorial. Room was cleaned. Nice open patio restaurant with big flat screen tv was able to watch the basketball game. Slow service. Good for 1 night stay. Food decent.

Only one girl of the staff was nice and helpfull. The security guard of the day time was rude and unfriendly .

lets be honest: it is not the ideal hotel to enjoy the building itself or the pool area, but its perfect to the 100% brazilians that goes to Miami to shop all day long. The hotel is near the airpot, downtown and gas stations....there is a perfect parking area just around the building and even in front of a lot of rooms...the rooms are large, the beds are confortable and the bethroom is exclusive and clean. AND THE PRICE IS RIDICULOUS, VERY CHEAP!!!! Ask for Natasha and she will solve all your problems..S2..... I totally recomend it.

Had a pleasant two night stay at the Rodeway Inn. I was in town for the Cubs-Marlins game and there was a free trolley provided by the University of Miami next door that dropped us right off at the stadium. It was also free to park our vehicle, which is a big deal in Miami. There was also a great bar downstairs called the University Inn and security was always present. Overall a really clean, inexpensive, and safe place to stay in Miami.

The hotel room was clean and well air conditioned the bar/rest down stairs was good as well. However the lady at the check in desk is rude and demanding, telling us we need to go find some where else to park until check in time ( check in was at 3 we arrived at 2 ) and that we could come back instead of waiting at the hotel.

Cheap and feaseble when you land late in Miami and need a hotell

Hotel is siting on the freeway, was in bad condition in need of a repaint, renovation and a good clean. It had a group of permanent residents and run down salon shops on the main floor that gave it a cheap feeling.

Staff was cordial. My room was ready upon arrival around 1:00 p.m. Not need to wait till 3:00p.m. to check in. My room was very clean, T.V. worked and A.C. as well. Didn't have time to go to the pool but looked clean. The place was very quiet. Because is a block away from a major Hospital I rate the surrounding neighborhood 2 stars. The price is right for what you get, very close to Downtown is your are here for business.

Too noisy and clerk are not very welcome.

This hotel was not very well put together. Our tub would not drain and we couldn't use it the last night we were at this hotel. Also, this hotel is very close to the Miami ghetto and walking back from downtown Miami was troubling.

Great location if you have a meeting near U of Miami hospital campus. Just around the corner from airport metro which was very convenience. Other than that, standard hotel service at the level you pay for.

I love the location. The room was great. And the service was wonderful

This hotel in my opinion w/o exaggeration should be condemned & torn down! It seemed as though we went back in time 75-80 yrs. & not in a good way.I served in the Marine Corps. & I would have rather stayed in a tent. This place was VERY dirty inside & out. We couldn't watch T.V.because it was so bad.We then called the office & they sent a guy up but he didn't do anything & we never heard from him again.We called again & they asked if we wanted to move,so we did. Unfortunately,now we were in a room next to a very noisy highway. The bedding in both rooms as well as the carpeting was very old & dirty. I have stayed at better places in 3rd.World Countries. No clock or hairdryer. Didn't expect amenities,but that's a little extreme. I can't possibly see how this place can pass a state inspection. Our stay was the night of the 20th of Feb.2013 & will forever be etched in our minds as the worst beginning of a terrific vacation to Belize.

this hotel should be condemmed..in the worst of neighborhoods..filthy..smelly..totally gross..not at all as pictured!

The rooms are minimal...but clean. Repairs are needed. The lobby people did an efficient job and the shuttle service was fine...one of the only to and from cruises.

Served the purpose of our trip, but not very inviting arriving. Down town older hotel and not nice. We spent the night and got out of there. Breakfast was a micro bagel and coffee at the attached restaraunt. There is a Hospitol next door, so assume most of the residents stay there to be with a loved one. Ended up being safe enough, but no feel good feeling when you show up, or during the stay. Next to the freeway, so you can watch that if you are bored.

Our room was dreadful! We arrived too late to try to stay somewhere else - and had to go to our cruise ship the next morning. just before we finally fell asleep after listening to the freeway traffic for hours, I saw a COCKROACH on the wall! We slept on top of the bed - was afraid to sleep in it... the room had mold and it looked like the furniture was from the 1970's. will NEVER stay at a Rodeway Inn again! The "continental breakfast" at the attached restaurant was a MINI bagel or toast and a small coffee or juice. The free transportation to the port of Miami was fine except they had only two vans and we would have had to wait for at least a half hour to an hour to be taken as there were at least 25 people already lined up to take the van to where they were going so we took a taxi instead

Furniture old and marked up. Bathroom had torn shower curtain hair on the floor, and t.v. very poor connection.Continental breakfast poor selection.

The room was clean but no ammenties, the grounds need serious cleaning and fixing up, the location was not in a location that you were able to do anything.

Well, we got what we paid for. The hotel is pretty old. We just had an overnight layover so we were not looking for anything fancy. The guy who picked us up from the airport did not say a word to us. Other than that, the people were nice.

It is a tiny hotel with limited parking area. The room is just fair, but there is only one banklet while there are two beds in the room. When I called the frontdesk to ask for one more, they told me that the housekeeping had closed. It was so cold at night and there was no heating in the room. When I booked this hotel, it said there was breakfast included in the room rate. Guess what? The BF is just a choice between 2 toasts, 1 bagel or one croissant. We ordered the croissant and found out that it was really a mini one - only half of your palm!!! The BF is totally a lie!

Very old hotel. Overall it was just okay. Chosen this hotel as it was near to beaches & also due to less price.
