Great hotel, service and location. Will stay again for sure on our next visit to Honolulu.

I loved the hotel and the room but was very surprised that they didn't have parking, so we had to pay $15 a day to park across the street.

Polite, friendly staff. Awesome location ( a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki) and close to the beach. Hot breakfast was an added bonus.

We loved our recent stay at Hyatt Place. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again

Had everything I could want

Personnel was very friendly, but stay was unpleasant because bed sagged, pillows were flat, a light near the ceiling flashed on and off throughout the night, and an alarm clock went off early in the morning playing loud rock music. Room was advertised as "ocean view" and I booked it for my wife to enjoy, but it should have been listed as a "partial ocean view" owing to the several buildings between the room and the ocean.

We stayed in this hotel two times always for 5 nights during our family vacation to Hawaii.First time we had a ocean view standard room which was not what we expected because the balcony is very small and the view is very limited because of other hotels staying closer to the beach.But for the second time we got a standard room with the view at Diamond Head with two queen beds as we wished and the room number 1141 was great!! Large enough and comfortable for the family wih 2 children. Just a bit of musty smell in the room was a minus point. Also the breakfast included is very usefull even if there are not many variaties and even if you may have problem to find a seat in the busy morning. If so you still can bring your breakfast in your room. Just the swimming pool is very very small. Overall we were very satisfied and we were not looking for another hotel when we were going back from other islands to Honolulu for last days.

I liked the Hotel but was really, really disappointed by the Breakfast.I sure have misunderstood the" regency" from the "place".Yet people there were really cool, the ALOHA attitude and location is right on the dream.

My husband and I stayed at Hyatt Place Waikiki for two nights while we drove around Oahu. It was a great place to rest our heads in between our sightseeing endeavors. I chose the Hyatt Place because of its brand recognition as I didn't want to chance on getting a lemon.

Hotel good value for money - friendly service from all staff - room to an expected standard - breakfast free but no variation in a week - location ok for business but a little out of the main shopping / dining area of Waikiki.Overall good value for money

W e stayed for 12 days and very very satisfied with the hotel and the location. The hot and cold breakfast buffet was great. The concierge service was helpfuland bus tours picked us up at the door.

Room was excellent, big and spacious, clean and relatively modern. Full HD tv with cable, free fast wifi in all areas, free use of windows 8?? pc's downstairs and free printing. No restaurant which was a bit weird, only a bar / pre-prepared sandwich fridge downstairs. Breakfast buffet was included every morning which was ok but nothing to get too excited about. Very close to beach and shopping. Cannot fault the staff, they were all excellent, friendly and responsive. Really enjoyed our trip. When we return we will probably stay outside of Waikiki due to the food prices but if we ever went back we would not hesitate to stay at Hyatt Place again.

Great economical place to stay near the beach. Excellent gym facility and the staff was super helpful. There is a convenience store in the hotel that has a good selection of products and more reasonalbly priced than other stores. Only complaint is the breakfast that got a little boring-but what you do you expect for free?

Not sure why this got so many low reviews. But if you dont need to be right there on the beach, this hotel is a 2 block walk to the beach. ABC store 1/2 a block...everything you need is well within walking distance. This being a Hyatt Place, it lives up to brand expectations if you have stayed at one. We used it as a place to sleep and HQ our gear for our day trips so for that purpose it was great. Our room was right around the corner from the elevator and I was worried it would be a problem...but for 3 days we didnt even notice it! Im sure there are higher end hotels out there, but of course you are going to be paying bigger bucks for it! This is an exceptional place at a reasonable price for the area. If we ever come back we'll stay here again! Mahalo!

Busy (Easter) weekend with several groups. On the good side, room was clean, service polite and location excellent for our purposes. Above average breakfast for this class of hotel. Less positive: the wait for elevators was very long - always - couldn't handle the crowds, I guess. We only needed a little a/c given the pleasant weather, but it sounded like it was experiencing a painful death very time we turned it on - particularly annoying at night. Valet parking (only, no self parking) is expensive and you don't have much choice so they can get away with it. I hesitated between a 3 and 4 overall but ultimately the very noisy a/c tipped the balance to a 3.

The spotless, newly remodeled room. Although room was small it's adequate for two. Great mountain view and privacy from balcony. Breakfast was great in the open-air courtyard. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

If I ever return, and I hope I will, I will definitely stay in your hotel again. I was pleased with all the services, and the kindness and consideration of the employees. What a pleasant experience for my first trip to Hawaii.

Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. It is a quick walk to Waikiki. We would definitely stay here again. One note, the breakfast is FANTASTIC! Easily the best 'included' breakfast we've ever had at a hotel.

Excellent location and staff. From the moment we checked in, to the time we checked out, our experience at the property was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was was good . Eating outside near the pool made it even better. There was no pressure from the Travel Agent to participate in the activities on the Island. He was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything. From snorkeling to Whale watching it was great! Two thumbs up to the Hyatt Place!!

Pleasantly surprised! Was exactly what we needed. Loved all the included amenities.. So many hotels charge extra for everything now adays. Hyatt included Wifi, beach towels, awesome breakfast, workout room..just to name a few! Great location for beaching!

Staff extemely friendly and helpful. Very clean, spacious and updated rooms. Beds were VERY comfortable! Beach and shopping nearby

very good hotel.gym ok not alot of weight but good cardio machine.Breafast good no omellette but good choice ,deluxe room good size with a (coach bed)people very nice...Marvin manager super nice,I will come back there for sure ,5min from the beach,very good location. con pool very small no...

Overall had a pleasant stay except for the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. Poor selection of items and only egg option was egg patty with ham on muffin and no one in my party could finish it and would rather eat airline eggs before I eat that again. On a pleasant note room was a good size, staff was very helpful and great location.

Clean comfortable room, good location, friendly staff, breakfast was a bonus.

Nice place, but the two elevators are agonizingly s......l.....o......w.......! .Suggest they receive an upgrade! Otherwise, the staff was very pleasant and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable. Bottled water at the hotel costing $3.50 was not appreciated, however.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the condition of the hotel as the photos we had seen online did not do it justice. The hotel is very nicely decorated as is spotlessly clean. Our room was fantastic, the bedding was very comfortable, and our housekeeper Anacita was so friendly and always done a great job. The hotel is very close to the beach, approximately a minute walk. The free internet and breakfast were also a major bonus.

Great hotel! ...Free breakfast, Free Wifi, nice gym, a block off the water. Truly only missing a hot tub and sauna.

Great property with excellent view. Be prepared for the noisy city at all hours. Cops love to run sirens all hours of the night.

We had a little snag first night as they gave us a room with one King size bed and we reserved 2 queens. You were booked and my 22 year old son had to sleep on small pull out. Next morning I went down and you switched us while we were out that day.

Overall is OK but not great. Too noisy, especially during night time and early morning. Breakfast is a bit boring. If beach is the primary objective hotel location is great.

Valet parking is expensive. You cannot take drinks (alcohol) from their 24 hr. service/bar up to your room. "Ocean View" is extremely limited. Buffet is good. Location is excellent, just one block off the beach. Staff were all very helpful.

This was the nicest hotel we've stayed at. Continental breakfast was nice. Front desk service was great. Housekeeping could have been better, they weren't very friendly. Had to call a few times to get coffee packs and clean cups and glasses. I would stay here again definitely.

Totally understaffed. Took us an hour to get our car from valet parking. No real restaurant or bar. Swimming pool is a joke. In the shade most of the day and is tiny. Would not stay there again.

This is a great place, the valet was exceptionally slow, everything else was fantastic, location was outstanding, room clean. Overall would go back no problem. Breakfast was great and free!

bed was comfortable, shower was excelent, tv and shows good, breakfast was ok,noise from streets was loud. The pool was very ordinary, too small and cold

Stayed for two nights to get over the jet lag and check the highlights of Honolulu. Got a mountain view room, which was an accurate description. Room has modern, clean lines, relatively new furniture. Hotel look that has been recently remodeled, like the took an old building and brought up to modern standards, the job was well done with the only exception that room we had was a bit too small for the furniture, there was not too much space to walk around or to put luggage. Location is barely a block from Waikiki. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty. Staff was very friendly and courteous.
