قصير جداً، في المرة المقبلة سأطلب غرفة بعيدة عن المصاعد لأنها مزعجة جداً خلال الليل وأنا أحاول النوم.

كل شيء كان مقبولاً ولكن السرير كان قاسياً جداً.

الموقع ممتاز وطاقم العمل كان مقبولاً. البار كان غالياً بجنون، وغرفتي كانت تفوح منها رائحة السجائر، حوض الاستحمام كان مسدوداً والغرفة كانت ضئيلة جداً.

غرفتي كانت مزعجة قليلاً بسبب نافذة مكسورة. ادعوا عدم وجود غرفة اخرى. تعاملت مع الموقف. في الغالب لن أعود مرة اخرى.

موقع جيد بغرف حجمها صغير ويحتاجون للاهتمام بالتفاصيل في نظافة الغرف.

I booked the hotel because of Free wifi. They are very generous about it. Starbucks is next door and you can get a coffee and use the wifi hang out at very comfortable clean lobby. One negative thing is they charge per luggage at bell service. I had to ask them to hold my luggage for a little while after checkout. Paying 2bucks/pcs is just like giving a tip but turned me off.

We've stayed at this hotel many times in the past, but never had such a closet of a room before. Had to turn sideways to pass each other in the room. Even the door to the bathroom and shower were narrower than usual. It was very uncomfortable and will prevent us from returning to this hotel. The room was newly renovated so very clean, but the discomfort of the size of it far out weighed anything else. And this was an upgrade! They also renovated the lobby, but probably should not have done so.

Convenient location. Loved the Starbucks in the lobby. Small room, but what else could I expect in NYC?

I recently stayed here for work for two nights; they are under construction and I guess I got one of the old rooms. The room was freezing and I was told that the heating can't be controlled in room - but when it's 'this warm' it doesn't come on - it was 62 degrees and I didn't sleep for being so cold. TV didn't work. Sleep number bed didn't work. Didn't get my alarm call. Concierge told me "Ii think the new business center is open" - it wasn't. How can a concierge not know that? Overall, very disappointed.

Our room had just been renovated and the accomodations were truly awesome. Very clean, bright, comfy beds, gorgeous decor. Could not ask for more. Very friendly staff everywhere. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable VERY nice hotel in the city. Great location as well. A++++ all the way. Specifically, we asked for 2 double beds upon checkin and the manager at the desk immediately gave us the best room available with 2 beds. We were so pleased.

The location is perfect. However we arrived shortly after 8:00 pm on a Monday night our rooms were not available. We were told to come back in an hour. Very strange. The room was fine, but the bathroom had a fan running constantly. Again, very strange.

Location was excellent for business... Hotel is going through renovation, Loby looking good. My TV cable did not work. I was in a room that could be a "conceting" room and I could hear everything from the room next door.

Hope to return for a 3rd time. Wifi should be free in rooms.

Fabulous staff and the hotel was very convenient.

Don't stay next to the elevator - ask to change rooms or you will be up all night. This is a typical hotel room in the city. Nothing spectacular other than location.

Hotel was fine and basic. Let's face it, it's an old building and I chose it on price. Room smelled a little musty but was quiet and the bed was comfortable. No thermostat to control room temp, but window was operable. Would stay there again. Starbucks in the building.

The lobby was under construction (causing a mess around the hotel) and the hotel staff were very un-hospitable. We tried to check in early but they didn't have any rooms available. Instead of calling us when a room was available, they said we needed to call them to check on the status. We then realized that some people were getting rooms while others were told to wait. In addition to all of this, they actually asked us to pay $2 to watch our bags. You would think at the very least they would forgo a baggage charge just to show a little hospitality when being so unaccommodating in every other way.

This hotel has location going for it, and the gym. The "Deluxe" room was extremely small, and I actually think we were put in a lower end room. It was late and we couldn't spend the time to argue for one night. The service is poor, but the location is what you're paying for. The gym is quite good for a hotel, but go early or late. Tough to workout during the rush hours.

I love the Lexington. I know it comes down to personal interest but this hotel offers everything I love: style, good food, kind of chic but classy, and local clubs and lounges near by. Both rooms I stayed in were awesome and a corner suite room I had was great for the price and to be staying in NYC. Latin Quarters is downstairs from the Lexington and is one of the most famous and long standing latin music clubs in NYC. There are other great hotels and bars and lounges near by. Taino restaurant is downstairs as well and the food and drink are incredible! During Christmas season, there was a HUGE Christmas tree in the very clean lobby and the people were great. Truth be told, the women who work there are HOT as well. Ask for MASHA, tall blond Russian who will hook you up and Alexandra, girl from Kosovo, is probably one of the best pieces of eye candy I have seen in a long time and her attitude is fantastic!

While there were renovations being carried out during our stay, it didn't bother us as we were out & about sightseeing most of the time. We were very happy with our room as it had just been refurbished and I believe we were the first to stay in it. It was spotless, bright & nicely furnished. The staff were very attentive & accomodating to us - as we had a very small baby with us they kindly allowed a late checkout. All in all a good experience at the Lexington.

The room was clean and the furnishings were up to date. The bed was comfortable too. There was some construction in the lobby and it's much better to enter from 48th so you don't have to walk through a Starbucks to get to the lobby (though it's convenient for breakfast). Overall, a good experience.

Got last minute deal. $150 a night. Very close to NY Office so handy location for me. Room was comfortable. Lobby undergoing renovation so it is a mess. Staff were polite and friendly. OK for a short stay. Lots of airline staff staying so that gives you an idea. Neighbourhood is dead, especially at night.

Not happy with service and condition with room meaning maintenance.

I booked a night at the Lexington when my flight was canceled at LaGuardia and I needed a place to stay. The price was attractive and in a great Manhattan neighborhood for business travelers. The Cons: lack of cleanliness, small room, very dated and worn. The Pros: Looks to be in the process of a total gut rehab. The current status of the Lexington filled my needs for the night. Going forward, I assume all the construction activity will address the Cons. This is a hotel to keep on your radar.

Great Location, stayed here many times, clean and safe and usually well priced. Got a free upgrade at check in, some construction work started at 8am on a Saturday but otherwise very good.

My room stank of kitchen odors, which must have come up through the vents. The smell was so bad it awakened me at 4:30 AM and I couldn't get back to sleep. Later at breakfast I think I ate what they were cooking: reheated oil saturated hashed brown potatoes and onions. The bathroom was clean but there was a tear in the ceiling with some construction tape next to the tear. The TV didn't work. The monitor didn't seem to have batteries in it.

We had horrible service from room service, to maid service (she took glasses out of our room and refused to replace them), to the front desk personnel (including the manager who didn't even offer an apology for anything). We will not be going back there!

When I booked the Lexington, which was a few months ago, I made it quite clear that it was for a special occasion, our 25th anniversary. Despite the hotel clearly knowing what work they had scheduled at this time, no-one bothered to inform me that there were massive renovation going on in the hotel during our stay. Had they done so I would have gone elsewhere. Hundreds of workmen, everywhere, on every floor, horrendous noise and dust everywhere, most of the facilities unavailable to guests. Just don't go there during the renovations and don't expect them to tell you about them.

It was good, it's just they were going through some renovations. I would like to go there without the construction being done.

Was not made aware of the under-construction condition of the hotel before I walked in the door. Staff did the best they could with could with the sorry state of the available rooms and construction noise and inconvenience, but hotel was in no condition to be occupied.

Hotel is under going a major renovation. For the rate and location, this property was good value. Hotel definitely has some age, so don't expect it to pass a white glove test. Rooms are not large, so you won't want to bunk here if hanging out in the hotel room is on your agenda. But if you want a good night sleep, clean linens, and a clean bathroom that won't break the bank, this is a good place to hang your hat. Did I mention the friendly staff eager to make your stay enjoyable?

Overall, the room was great - huge by NYC standards, however, there was quite a bit of noise from renovations going on while I was there.

Rooms are smaller but clean. Hotel still under renovations, limiting services. Had to wait an hour for room to be cleaned. Location was very convenient.
