Quality Inn at General Lee's Headquarter - جيتيسبورغ

The hotel is on the northwest end of Gettysburg near Seminary Ridge and a great location for a night or extended stay. We stayed 3 nights and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. General Lee's Headquarters museum is a must see and free with your room. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely stay there the next time we are in Gettysburg. Highly recommended!

A very nice place to stay. Would love to go back and have another stay in the future.

Perfect for our needs. I would stay at the General Lee again. Breakfast is good. Location for our needs was terrific.

We could not have been more pleased to be at this hotel. It was a last min trip and this was the one of the only available when we needed it and in the price range. Spotless... the entire room. I could not find one single thing to complain about if I tried. Excellent experience, will book here again.

Awesome hotel. Earlier before arriving to the hotel we swung by Adams County Winery for some tasting and more than $100 of wine (girlfriends doing). But while we were at the winery, two staff members recommended a brew pub/ restaurant named Appalachian Brew Co. that was in Gettysburg. They tried to explain directions to it, but we figured we would just look it up online when we got to the hotel. Well... when we pulled into the hotel, the brew pub was literally right next to the hotel and within throwing distance of our room. It stays busy, so we put in our reservation and they said a table should be ready in about an hour. All we had to do was take a 30 sec walk back to the room and hang out till the table was ready. And I must say, it was definitely worth the wait! The room was very comfortable and felt very clean. And not the bleach/ Lysol clean, legitimately, up-kept clean. The next day we hit the attractions. It was the off season (Feb) so the General Lee Headquarters was closed :(. But there was still a good amount of festivities going on. The Gettysburg National Military Park was literally with-in throwing distance. Great location. The cont. breakfast was definitely much better than most, so we got some good food before starting the day. The only drawback I had would be the front desk clerk (minor issue). She was a little short and snooty with me during check-in. It could be b/ I was a bit on the younger side and she thought after a trip to the brew pub the room may be trashed. But at check-out when everything went well, she was nice. Also... check out is at noon!!! So you can relax a little longer in the morning.

Great micro-brewery/eatery on the premises. Sweeping view of part of the battlefield. Nice view of Mount Liberty lighted ski area in the distance. It is an older motel but kept up nicely & very comfortable with a friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Probably a little to far to walk to the square in downtown Gettysburg but a good place to start a walk of a portion of the battlefield. Beautiful pictures in the lobby & in the rooms of General Lee, his command & the battle.

Supposed to have been Lee's HQ during the battle. Right on the first day's field. Accomodations OK, but frankly minimal. WIFi not very good at all, and no desk or work table in any of the rooms I have had during various stays here. Can be chilly in winter.

An absolutely fabulous place to stay. Beautiful rooms and the most pleasant staff I've ever come across. I hope to be able to stay here again the next time I come to Gettysburg!

Let's be clear. This place is a MOTEL. But that doesn't make it a bad place...fairly good location. Near the auto tour route of Gettysburg (very close to Seminary Ridge). The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is the tiny pillows they use, which are comfortable but small. It is conveniently located next to the Appalachian Brewing Company for some tasty brews and dinner but is kind of a trek (if there is such a thing in Gettysburg) to anywhere else. I would highly recommend. And I would definitely stay there again.

We were very happy with our visit. The rooms were simple and clean - we were there for the history, not for a fancy hotel!

Great location to the battlefields however,far away from places to eat and wander around town. It's definitely a revamped motel, room smells funny (old). The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Museum was a nice feature. Bed was too soft for our liking.

The hotel essentially a renovated motel which would be OK except it is still a motel. Could hear snoring from the room next door. Room is very small. Does look nice from the outside. Nice breakfast but short on tables. Gen Lee museum is very good.

Friendly and accomodating staff. Room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, and seems to have enough variety to meet most tastes. Typical for that type of offering. Very convenient to the Gettysburg National Battlefield and visitors center. I would stay again.

The room was clean and close to downtown Gettysburg. The staff was cordial & helpful and the breakfast was reasonably good. The analog TV was a bit of a downer.

This was my first time to Gettysburg, I was taking my daughter to American University in Washington, D.C. I asked my kids ages 18 and 20 if they wanted to stop in Gettysburg first and stay a couple of days. I was impressed with the staff, they were very knowledgeable about the town and the battlefields and the hotel was very clean. The town is within walking distance of the hotel which was great, but the best part was the fact that you could literally walk out of your room, cross the parking lot and step foot into history. They battlefields are that close. I was very impressed and would recommend this to anyone.

Good location in relation to the Battlefields. General Lee's Museum was very interesting. Staff were friendly and helpful. The brewpub was a nice addition as well. I would recommend staying here.

Overall, we were happy with the hotel, but they should post a picture of the actual hotel, not General Lee's Headquarters; a little misleading. The light in the vestibule was out, the beds were way too soft and the breakfast was not great. Other than that, it was fine.

We spent two nights here in July 2011. Looking at the other local hotels on offer, the Quality Inn represents good value for money. It's on the edge of town, but has pleasant views over the fields to the south. The rooms are a good size, clean and the pool was welcome in the heat of summer.

Staff very friendly. looks out on the battlefield. My only problem was the room smelled musty.

This was a very nice hotel, small and located across from one of the battlefields. Pool was very clean and inviting however, it rained while we were there. Located near center of town and Nat'l Park as well as other era based go sees. Would surely stay again since short drive to my son's college,

Well maintained, clean, quiet. Room wasn't big but adequate. Not a lot of "bells and whistles" but fair. Close to town. Right next to American Brewing Company. Nice.

We had a short, but good visit to Gettysburg and very happy with our accomodations. We would recommend this motel.

This place was perfect for visiting Gettysburg. The hotel has General Lee's Headquaters on site!! The rooms were very comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good. Location is perfect. The hotel employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Loved it!!

An absolutely great experience. We were right across the road from one of the battlefields. The adjacent gift shop and museum was very nice Tthe attendant recommended a 2 disc cd set for a self guided tour. The $20.00 was a bargain and a souvenier as well. It turned out great and we had so much more time to spend at each stop by doing this at our own pace. Charming room and breakfast area.

This hotel is situated very close to the battlefields. It's a beautiful view and you can walk to Seminary Ridge. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gettysburg. It is not directly in town, so it is much quieter. The ride into town is simple and there is plenty of parking all around the attractions. I would also recommend the Dobbin House for dinner. My entire family thought it was the BEST meal we ever had!!

General Lee would have been pleased to stay at this Quality Inn. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was adequate. I arrived around 8 PM and the woman who handled my check-in was very friendly and helpful. The only minus was that the room could use a little "airing out" as it had the odor of a room that had been closed up for a while.

I will certainly stay here again!

A warm and comfortable stay on a cold winter night, with a very helpful host. We booked the hotel due to its proximity to General Lee's headquarters, which turned out to be closed because of the winter season. No problem, because we were adjacent to a significant part of the Civil War battelfield. Our host was very helpful by providing a brief history of why the war happened and how it played out in Gettysburg - all with referene to a large wall mounted map in Reception. He also recommended the Visitors Center and Cyclorama (a must see). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Thank you.

stayed here on trip from england to see gettysburg,and booked a cheap deal online in advance. highly recommended. fantastic breakfast, free entry to general lee's headquarters museum, great location directly overlooking the battlefield of gettysburg day one. very enjoyable stay. you won't regret it!

Just a mile outside town, and right next to the site of the first day's engagement in the three-day battle of Gettysburg, the Quality Inn was convenient, quiet, and very friendly. The continental breakfast, included, was more than adequate. The adjacent General Lee's HQ building, though small, was interesting and free to guests, open 9-5. The room was spacious, bathroom surprisingly large, and bed very comfortable. Would heartily recommend

very convenient for touring the battlegrounds, and easy to get to.
