I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed my stay this time! I believe that we were given a room upgrade which was a NICE surprise! We were very PLEASED with the amenities in the room which made the stay even more COMFORTABLE and RELAXING.

First time we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Great experience!

My Stay was great although the bartender was way to interested in talking to her friends rather than serve me. I had to ask repeatedly for another drink. Bartenders should never have their back to their guests. Should service the entire bar just not friends.... After several times asking I left….. Poor service!!!

Apparently Crowne Plaza lost their liquor license and they didn't tell us at check in. This meant that the client dinner (with clients on the way over) had to be rescheduled very last minute. Also, the COURTESY happy hour which came with the higher room rate, was soda and water. What bothered me most is that I checked in at 6, and they didn't breathe a word. The waiter at Oliver's (their restaurant) told us that it had been 'days' since the license was lost and it could be as long as 10 days until it was back. The ONLY way a hotel loses its license has to be to have served a minor.

Ventilation system was noisy and went on and off frequently. Sheets were clean, but stiff and low quality. (Very comfortable bed though.) Some mold on the grouting in the shower, and not just in the corners. Bar forgot to renew its liquor license. Food was very so-so. Really not up to snuff. Good points-- right off of I-287, Garden State and the Jersey Turnpike, but somehow still not noisy. Plus the staff was very helpful and nice.

I recently booked this hotel for my birthday. They booked me the wrong room as advertised in the picture. So the manager was nice enough to upgrade my room to a presidentail suite at no additional cost. The room was gorgeous. Everything was clean and well kept. The room was big and spacitous with a nice balcony. I reccomend this hotel.

Food Great, location great, staff great .. Will repeat

The room was spacious but it lacked a microven & frig. The room almost looked like it was stripped of furniture. Coffee was not stocked for the coffee maker; had to call for replenishment.

If you really want a good night's sleep stay at this hotel the bed and linen is so comfortable. If you encounter a problem the manager will make sure that he rectify the problem right away. Crowne Plaza is always my first choice !

The front desk lacked professionalism in the area a customer service. They were not very knowledgable of what was on the menu in the restaurant. The restaurant staff was very unprofessional and it took a long time before anyone would even serve you. I would not recommend the hotel to friends or business associates and furthermore, I would not stay there myself again.

The room need upgrades. Need Microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. This is a new and modern era.

One of the best night stays that I've had in some time! The hotel is amazing in it's accomodations, aestetics and hospitality! Will definitely go back soon!

We had a king nonsmoking room. It was large with plenty of room for my husband, my 4 year old and I. We requested a refridgerator (via hotels.com) and when I checked in, the hotel said they did not get the request from the reservation but they very kindly and graciously found that a small fridge was available and placed it in our room for no additional cost. Overall, we were very happy. The room was clean as was the main lobby. There were a lot of other visitors to the hotel for a party and so it did seem a bit busy.

Hotel carpet is old but I think that they made it a point that everything is kept clean. I came here for a business trip and Crown Plaza is a very convenient location if you are to visit JFK Rehab...about 7mins drive according to GPS. I also stayed for dinner in Christies...made a good choice 'cause their food was excellent with great service. It does't take a lot to satisfy me, but I think that overall, the hotel did a pretty good job in terms of cleanliness, good service from staff and hotel amenities.

We only stayed one night but everything was great while we were there. They were even paving the road right in front of the hotel all night when we stayed, but we barely heard a thing. The room was huge too!

Crowne Plaza's need updating, from the worn chairs to the scratchy sheets. They used to represent a higher end place to stay but not any more. Worn carpets with dirty corners. I have seen chairs in some that belong on the dump. Discouraging and better places to stay.

The hotel was very nice. Pros: 1. Less than 5 minutes from the train station (if you are considering traveling to NY), 2. Plenty of restaurants and shopping stores nearby, 3. Not to far from Route 287, 4. A Wal-Mart is located right down the street. Cons: 1. The hotel has a club on the ground floor. We could hear the music and festivities late into the night. Very agravating when trying to sleep. We could also hear people gathering/loitering under the front balcony (which was right under our window). It was worse on the weekend, but got a lot better on week days, 2. If you want a microwave and/or refrigerator, make sure you get the suite or whatever the upgrade is to get it. Other local hotels had competitive rates, which included a refrigerator and microwave. I assumed that for the price, I would have these. My fault for assuming. Don't make this mistake. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel, and may even stay here next time I'm in Edison, NJ. The hotel has a very rityz decor, with pleasant staff. They even have a steak house restaurant on the ground floor. I didn't eat there, but it looked like a nice set-up. The hotel provides wi-fi, and even a small office with a printer. Thank-You and enjoy your stay.

The entire church group from Danville, Virginia was quite pleased with the Crowne Plaza. The staff was extremely friendly and the stay was comfortable and accommodating. The Crowne Plaza will become our selected choice whenever they travel up north.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful and clean hotel. Comfortable rooms. Satyed for a conference and was completely comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay on New Years Eve. The rooms where spacious and comfortable. I love the staff and the amedities in the room too the gifts they leave on the bed.

This is one of the better hotels in the Edison area but the convectors (Heating/AC) are noisy going on and off make for uncomfortable night's sleep.

Stayed here overnight for a wedding that was held at the Pines Manor. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The location was wonderful as the Pines Manor is just across the street, and the hotel provided a shuttle to and from the reception hall.

This is one of the nicest hotels in the area. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi worked very well. Two minor glitches were that the toilet tissue holder fell off the wall and a wastebasket had a big sharp piece broken out of it. Also, we would have preferred a breakfast buffet or Sunday brunch. The hotel informed us that they only offered that on weekdays, not weekends! Strange.

WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS CROWNE PLAZA A FEW TIMES AND THEY TYPICALLY HAVE WEDDING PARTIES AND REUNIONS ON WEEKENDS. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY DO NOT HAVE FLOORS RESERVED FOR THESE GUESTS AND THE LAST FEW TIMES WE STAYED THERE THE LATE NIGHT PARTYING (3:00AM) FLOWED INTO THE HALLWAYS, KEEPING US UP FOR HOURS (UNTIL 5:00AM). THIS WAS NOT A ONE TIME OCCURANCE AND WE WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. WE ACTUALLY REQUESTED A QUIET FLOOR AWAY FROM THE PARTYING CROWD BUT THE HOTEL WAS UNABLE TO ACCOMODATE.
