I have stayed at many places in las vegas. From Ceasars to Motel 6 and just about all in between. I was very leary of the Wild Wild West, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprized. Room was nice, staff was excellent. The carpet was a little spotty could use a shampoo. But the sheets and towels where while crisp brand new. I never felt uneasy about the stay at all.The staff and security were roaming the grounds at all hours. Nice cheap place to stay.I would stay again, when prices are to high on the strip...

Very good free breakfast and very comfortable bed.

The floors were so dirty our feet were black just walking around the room. When we told the front desk, they did nothing. We moved to another hotel and they never even apologized.

Free Breakfast is not your typical Continental breakfast but in the attached Dennis where one has to wait 30 minutes to get your breakfast served and has very limited options. The rooms were fine and the bed was comfortable. the good part was the parking was very close to the room (as compared to the hotels on the strip). However the kind (and dresses) of other guest walking around made you feel very awkward (specially with kids)

Overall te hotel isn't bad, but it is noisy and we were woken up daily due to noise from the street, housekeeping carts and neighbors.

This is the third time I have stayed in the Wild Wild West while I have attended Viva Las Vegas at the Orleans (this time only the Car Show-partly a book promotion for our latest novel). I enjoy the comfiness of the notel each time and really, really like the location of Denny's inside the casino. I have had a great time each time I have stayed. Other Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekends (I have attended 12) I have stayed at other places and have not found it nearly as enjoyable as the Wild Wild East. The nearness to the Orelans, site of VLV recently is an extra added plus.

We did not see the warning about the Deposit at check in and were not prepared. The hotels.com site is wrong! It's $50 flat if you pay cash, but they want you to use your credit card where they charge $25 a day! If you try using cash/credit for the deposit, they will still charge $75/day. At check out, they refuse to reverse charges and pay the entire deposit back in cash. At check-in, we only had $42 in cash.My husband got paid at midnight, and we had to convince the manager to let us in. They normally will not give you the keys unless you pay the full deposit. Luckily they took pity on us because we had traveled 6 1/2 hours in a car with a 3 year old who was miserable and wanted to go to bed. My husbands check did not clear exactly at midnight for once and they called every 30 minutes until 2am demanding the deposit. We finally took the phone off the hook. 15 minutes later, our room door which had been dead bolted and latched flew open! It turned out to be a drunk guest thinking it was his room. There was a security guard roaming the property 100 feet away and didn't see it! And of course maintenance was not on site so we had to wait until morning to have the latch fixed. We were finally left alone by the time my husband paid the remaining deposit (of only $9.66 for which we were harassed continuously) The pool is not cleaned regularly and it is NOT heated as the hotel said it was. Every guest who went into the pool on Friday had a severe case of Pink Eye by Sunday. Luckily my son and I stayed in the hot tub during our trip. When we told the staff at check-out, they said it couldn't be from the pool, yet 2 other groups we saw were checking out and they all had it as well. The free breakfast was very nice, though it's for adults only. We had to pay for our son's meal and the prices were higher than normal. The Denny's staff and the casino staff were MUCH friendlier than the check-in/check-out staff. We will NOT be staying there ever again. We were never than

If you want to book these hotel. Just be aware... you get what you pay for. It is a cheap hotel for a reason. BUT If you go rent these hotel with that in mind you will be fine. Bad first; rooms are small, casino is a small, dark lite, and smells of decades of smoke. Also the walk to the stripe is kinda long. GOOD; cheap rent, free breakfast (small omlet, hash browns, and two pieces of toast), pool and hot tub is 24/7 (i was actually impressed with the pool / hot tub, ALSO be careful with drink beer in the hot tub! something about hot water and beer makes you REALLY drunk fast ; ), cheap bar ($1.00 buds compared to the $8.00 beers at the larger casinos), cheap casino, staff is pretty cool and friendly,and room was cleaned daily. Overall I wouldn't stay here again, just for the reason that I would rather walk to the strip then drive. BUTTT if you don't mind taxis or rent a car this hotel is not that bad. Plus who really spends time in a hotel at Vegas!! Save money on the hotel and spend it at the shows, concerts, and clubs. So i would recommend this hotel as long as you know that it is not ceasers place. Also i forget her name but one of the girls that work there told in on herself to show me how to play slots, and gave me the ins and outs of vegas. So THANKS to the womenl with black hair and blonde highlights, your awesome ;) So lastly... stay at this hotel, grap a book back with a 12 pack of beer bought from the hotel, and walk the strip and hit up the bars / clubs. You save on the hotel, and drink your own cheap beer!!!!!!

Since the first day I found a bug in the floor. The bath was very dirty. The quilts were also dirty. And I was charged for casino fees that I did not use. The breakfast did not include juice which you can find on any other hotels. So, location was the only good thing about this hotel.

It was a place to crash near the airport. I wanted cheap and I got it. They hit me up for a small additional "casino" charge. That angered me more than the general blah condition of the hotel. We were only there for 12 hours and slept most of the time.

Rooms were clean. Quite at night. Would stay there again.

We loved this hotel! It was so close to the strip and everything we were doing in Vegas! Our room was so comfy and we really enjoyed it

I needed a place to stay for one night in Vegas, until I could check in to my other hotel. This was perfect, my flight came in late, I was able to check-in and still get a hot meal. The staff was helpful and friendly.

clean, close to freeway, free breakfast @ Dennys onsite, pets OK for a small fee. No need to walk through smoke-filled gampling halls on the way to your room. The neighborhood looks seedy but then so does much of Vegas outside of its top resorts, and the hotel has security guards on patrol. The WiFi was having issues but another trip to the from desk resolved it.

I guess the cheapest room are on the "road" side. Garbage truck come by 4-5 AM.. Truck parking across the road and lots of people yelling all night

Great price and free breakfast at Dennys just added to the value. Clean and comfortable, staff was very nice. The only thing wrong is the lack of outlets for charging phones, etc. Advise you bring an outlet strip if you stay here.

The hotel room was clean but not really walkable to the strip. I also did not feel safe walking alone at night in the area as a female. Good price, but I would stay somewhere else next time.

place works out just fine for Vegas. Just across the freeway from the strip with a bus stop. I walked over to the strip in under 10 mins.

Much better than I expected. The neighborhood is a little shady, but it's just across the freeway from the NY, NY hotel. Close to the strip!! Beds were reasonably comfortable. Biggest drawback was that you could hear noise from outside if there were people standing outside of your room.

The price was good, but the motel was very noisey. There was a lot of casino traffic coming and going during the night. The noise of the neighboring room doors slaming was disturbing.

We were quite surprised by the cleanliness of our room, since we didn't pay a lot. I brought air freshner, Febreeze & pillowcases (just in case) but none of those items were needed. The room smelled clean & the bedding was fresh. The location isn't too far from the strip & a bus stop right outside makes it convenient to get around. There is a Denny's on site & the free breakfast was a great extra. I would definately recommend for people to stay there, especially if you're not in the room much (like most people who go to Vegas). The only bad things were the TV channels were very limited & the wait staff (the host) wasn't friendly to the people who had breakfast vouchers. But that isn't a reflection on the hotel.

Very nice room for the price. Did not have a fridge, but had a very comfy bed with 5 pillows! Awesome! Would definitely stay here again

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn on Tropicana. The rate was outstanding, plus a full ('Grand Slam') breakfast saved us even more $$. The room was comfortable. The location of the motel was just across the interstate from the strip, but it was an easy 15-ish minute walk over to the first hotel there. Busy street, though, so watch the traffic, especially if you have kids! There was plenty of room to park our little travel trailer (we were headed out from western Colorado on a 2 wk. vacation) while we enjoyed LV for a couple of days. My only problem with the motel was the fact that you had to walk through the (relatively small) gambling hall to get to the restaurant, and of course the gambling area did not have a very good ventilation. We walked FAST to get into the restaurant to avoid smelling like cigarette smoke while we ate. Years ago I had a billing issue with Days Inn and swore never to stay in the chain again, but this experience went well. I'll stay at this particular Days Inn again.

the room was clean, comfortable, close to the strip. Breakfast in Denny was awesome.

Our recent experience at Days inn was great! The staff was very accommodating and we even got free breakfast at Denny's when we arrived early for our check in. It isn't the fanciest of hotels but was just what we needed for nye. It's a quick walk to the strip and has a variety of quick stops in the area. The room was clean and non smoking as reserved. Overall great experience. Will be staying here again. :)

For super low price, this is an excellent value. Free breakfast at Denny's is included as well. This beats Motel 6 or cheap downtown hotels!

#1 IS HOUSEKEEPING. The carpets were filthy as well as the bathtub, but that has been said before on this site and nothing has been done? The rooms are very small. Do not stay in room 701. It is right by the dumpster and is where they wheel the trash out at all hours of the night. WHY don't they do this in the DAY time when people aren't sleeping?? We complained to the front desk and all the guy could say is they have had numerous complaints before, but again nothing has been done. The good things are you aren't too far away from the strip, but you DO need a car to get around. Also the free breakfast is good, but watch out for the blonde waitress, she overcharged us for extra items ordered, then ended up pocketing an extra $5 for herself.

The ac was either too strong or not strong enough. The walls and doors let in every noise including the drunks stumbling from the casino at 4am. The adult movie selection has a lot to improve on too.

I had a small budget for my stay in Las Vegas and the Days Inn provided everything I needed. It includes breakfast which I liked very much. The staff at Denny's is very friendly, restaurant conveniently located inside hotel.I parked right in front of my room which was so incredibly convenient to unload, unpack, pack and re load the car. I didn't have to walk what seems miles and miles to reach my hotel room as it always seems to be the case in the big hotels. There is a gas station very nearby with the best prices in town. Overall if I'm on a tight budget again I will stay at the Days Inn.

Can't beat the price and free Breakfast at Denney's restaurant on site. However, we lost more in gambling than other places.

For the money the hotel was a good value. The only thing I was not happy with was the noise from outside my room. I could hear everything from the parking lot and the room next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
