Mercure Paris Porte d'Orléans - باريس

I highly recommend this hotel. I've stayed in at least 10 Parisian hotels and this makes the top 3. There is no outside noise, at the rear of the hotel anyway, although you can hear your neighbour on the same floor, which is actually an improvement for Paris in which it is normal to here below and above neighbours. The room is big, with enough space to exercise and the furniture is top quality. In fact the hotel building from 1911 is top quality and the reception is indicative of the quality of the furniture in the rooms. The beds are foam and very supportive. The area directly in front of the hotel is busy and a Metro 4 station is directly opposite so it is easy to get to about Paris. I would happily stay again.

A standard Mercure hotel. I had a 2x single bed room which, though non-smoking, still smelled of smoke. The plaster was beginning to come off the wall near the bathroom because of damp. The bathroom shower screen didn't stop the floor from flooding. Air conditioning and WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was OK - a big selection of items. If you're looking to stay near Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (and the RER B station) it's surprisingly close (10-15 minutes walk) if you walk along the road parallel the peripherique and cross the footbridge next to the Samsung building or take the road the runs under the peripherique. Next time I visit the University I'll probably stay here again.

This hotel is not especially close to the centre of paris but this was what we wanted as we took children and didn't want a noisy environment in which to try to get them to sleep. It's located in what appears to be a business district amongst mostly office blocks but there are a few nice small restaurants close by (one pizza place was especially nice). As long as you've got reasonable mobility and can walk 1km or so to the metro stops you won't find the location a problem. We found the hotel to be quiet and clean and the breakfast (which was included even though our booking said it wouldn't be) was a nice but fairly standard buffet affair - I have no complaints there. The children of course enjoyed the croissants and pastries. It's closest to the Porte d'orleans metro stop but also pretty close (1km) to the Cite Universitaire RER train stop. We discovered this because the Porte d'orleans section of the metro was closed the weekend we went, but actually this is a better way to get into town because you can use the Metro tickets but the train is quicker and has less stops and is generally less skanky.

Excelente atención. Buena habitación, moderna, limpia. El vecindario es tranquilo y sin problemas. Cerca están 3 estaciones de metro, recomiendo Porte Dórleans metro para comunicarte. Si vas a salir o llegar por el aeropuerto de Orly, solo toma 15 minutos llegar en Taxi

Hotellet ligger langt væk fra de fleste ting, og i et meget kedeligt område. Morgenmaden var ikke tilfredsstillende, da der ikke blev fyldt op på.

Keurig hotel, erg vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijtbuffet, mooie nette kamer, bedden waren iets te hard naar mijn smaak. De buurt is niet bijzonder, metro goed bereikbaar (ca 10 min lopen) parkeren voor 34 euro voor het hele weekend in de parkeergarage van mercure/Ibis. Hotel Ibis zit tegen het Mercure hotel aan. 1x gegeten in het grill restaurant van Ibis, maar dat viel erg tegen.

Très bonne impression

Hotel de qualite et tres confortable mais un peu cher. Le metro n'est pas trop loin, et il est donc facile de rejoindre le centre de Paris. Facile d'acces par le peripherique.

Nous avons eu un petit problème dans notre chambre, mais le personnel a été très gentille et professionnel.

Dommage pour l'odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre

Familie på tre trivdes godt på dette kanskje litt falmede firestjernershotellet i utkanten av Paris. God frokost, god service og lett å komme seg inn til Paris når vi først ble kjent med metroen. Ti minutter å gå til nærmeste metrostasjon i greit strøk. Butikk rett rundt hjørnet. Stort bad, kjøleskap og vannkoker på rommet. Gode senger. God standard til rimelig pris.

I stayed at the hotel during a conference. It was a very nice hotel, very comfortable room, good breakfast, helpful staff. Only minus in my book was that the room I got was a smokers room and smelled quite bad.
