New Bedford Inn & Suites - نيوبيدفورد

The staff was nice but the location was farther than we expected and near a landfill. We are swimmers and were disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for painting. The pool will be nice when opened again. Huge place but no one was there! Luckily the town of New Beford made up for the stay.

I arrived very late - near midnight - I was greeted by a toothless, unshaven elder man, friendly but very disconcerting in appearance. He checked me into a room which I found was a smoke box and had not been cleaned, dirty towels on floor, unmade bed. I returned to front desk, he was not apologetic but did give me another room. That room did appear to have been cleaned but when I was searching for a plug I found a pile of old food containers and dirty utensils swept behind the dresser. Then in the bathroom, there were dead bugs in the bathtup and pealing wall paper patches. It was too late at night to find another hotel, but I checked out as early as possible the next morning.

First room given was full of the smell of cigarette smoke. Bed was unmarried pillows looked like someone was watching tv 5 minutes ago. I asked for another room and there was no other king non smoking available. Had to take a double instead. As rooms go we were surprised to find no fridge , microwave. Room was clean. Hotel felt empty and abandoned.

Hotel was very quite. I looked like we were the only guests. The only negative thing was that the pool was closed. Nice hotel overall. And close to the theater which was the main reason of our stay there.

The front desk "guy" was rude and frankly I thought he was lying. I was put in a double bed x2 because he said he only had doubles. I booked the room 15 or 20 minutes before arriving (?) I have never had a problem with any other reservation made thru Hotels.com. Also I had to demand a copy of the receipt (which did not reflect the room details I was actual put in or the price) And the ice bucket was full of water. Because the front desk guy was not trust worthy; I will not be staying there again.

Terrible, dirty, noisy, creepy. Will not ever stay there again. Not recommended at all.

I thought it was a great, great, great place to stay. The place was quiet and the rooms were clean. I had a great night's sleep. Thank you.

RELAXING

The staff was cool at best. The reserved room was had a king size bed. The previous guests were smoking pot in the non-smoking room and the staff still booked us in the stinking room. We said we needed a smoke free room and " the only thing they had" was a room with 2 double beds. The hotel was empty. We'll see if they revise their pricing. The hotel is dark and uninviting and in need of much work. It was a very nice place on our last stay in 2006.

I thought it was an ok place to stay despite the reviews previously written. The place needs some minor upgrades to become more of a three star hotel, but it definitely isn't a one-star. The rooms were clean, as were the common areas. The front-desk staff were friendly, but can be more efficient....meaning speed up check-in time! Overall, I would stay there again.

Very poor choice at any price, the only good thing I can say is: it seems safe while here. The room is dirty and there are holes in walls and stains on floors. Amenities are missing, like toilet paper, ice bucket has plastic bag liner replaced only once per week, not daily. Very poor choice for very low budget. I would not stay again. I slept sitting up in the desk chair; the bed and the side chair were both too soft to be usable at all. Holes in linens and blankets. Refrigerator had mold growing inside, and was unplugged, hence the mold.

The room wasn't cleaned after the first night. Breakfast was cancelled & not available.

It was ok for just and over night stay. The room was clean enough.

Bad service, after waiting for half an hour give us the room key and when we entered there were people using it, after this we were given another room which was a smoking room and the sheets were dirty, finally after an hour we had our room, we were informed that breakfast was included and when we went to take it was horrible, seemed an alms, really bad

Very Nice Comfort at Hotel. Nice service.

I would not want to stay there again even if I am on a tight budget.

Worst condition carpet I have ever seen in a motel. This place needs alot of TLC to return back to former self.

The room that I stayed in at the New Bedford Inn & Suites was anything but clean and comfortable. After spending all day at the Newport Folk Festival, my friend and I were exhausted and therefore hoping to crash comfortably, given the price that we paid for the room. This was difficult to do after finding numerous stains and hair in my bed. I had to call the front desk twice before they bothered coming in to change my sheets. While changing my sheets, the clerks threw my comforter on the floor, and replaced the original stained sheets with new stained sheets.

When we checked in to our room there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor. Personal items in the garbage. The bathroom was dirty. Whn we went to the front desk, and after much discussion he agreed to send someone up to reclean the room. What we got wa a very nice gentelman who was told we needed new towels. What we needed was a new room which they were not giving us. The sheets were stained and dirty. They had a party going on in their hall room, which was obviously more inportant than the comfort of their other guests. Safe to say, we will not be booking with them anytime in the future.

Not my favorite place to stay. Should have taken advice of previous guests. Hotel is dated, less than clean and awkward in layout. The entrance was less than welcoming with dirty front doors. Our room had no trash can in bathroom, no other mirror other than bathroom and the remote was broken. Breakfast was dismal even for continental style and we chose not to swim for obvious reasons. While the front desk clerk was pleasant, it was not enough for us to consider a return trip.

One of the worst places I ever stayed!

After being given an occupied room and going back to wait a while at the front desk we were then informed that only smoking rooms were available. The room was filthy, water-stained walls, cigarette holes in the comforter, mold on the shower curtain, etc... Avoid at all costs.

Was not happy about our first room was suppose to be non smoking but it smelled of smoke Did change rooms but was woken up at 1 am with someone banging on our door questioning about our names and were we in the right room?? wanted us to open up the door but we refused. When i tried to call the front desk found out there was no phone hooked up!!! Could not sleep the remainder of the night For the price of the room was very un happy with it.

Did not realize this hotel harbored live ins. Felt like we were the only guests. The toliet paper roll was broken, white stuff all on the wall over by sink, the bathroom ceiling looked like it would cave in and the remote control (least of the issues) didn't work. The sheets were cleaned and the AC worked. after we checked in we get a knock on the door asking if we checked in. Very bizzare stay.

Pros: Near New Bedford, staff was polite, good for a one-night stay, relatively large hotel (but most areas are empty), pet-friendly. Cons: The room and in fact, the whole hotel, smells like mold and curry. Saw a stain on the pillow case. No coffee maker in room, ice bucket has no plastic bag, and when we turn the door handle from the inside, it fell off. Alarm clock was broken. Breakfast only has a few bagels and danish and muffins with only 2 types of jams, and orange juice that turned into water by 8am. Very expensive for the price. We only chose this hotel since it's the only available pet-friendly hotel by Cape Cod on a 4th of July weekend. Thankfully we only stayed there for a few hours. Bailed out in the morning as soon as we could.

I found this hotel to be kind of a dump. The door's swing bar lock was broken off, and not repaired. The bathroom walls use a rough plaster effect that looks really cheesy, and seems like it may be done to make it simple to patch without looking any different than the last patch. The breakfast bar was very sparse. Fortunately, we were only staying the night and leaving in the morning.

simply horrible staff had no uniforms guys running arround with their pant below their butt pool was falling appart room carpet was coming off stains on the walls just horrible would not stay back if they would pay us my kids had realy bad expirience the only good thing about the hotel was one girl at the front desk she was the only one profesional feel bad for her that she has to work in such bad place

Good for the money....Standard room, just there for the night, nothing fancy.

This is the 2nd run down Days Inn I have stayed at this year. No bed skirt with exposed mattress, old stained sheets, wallpapered right over all the holes in the walls. There was no window to open and I was seriously afraid of the dust bunnies caked in the ventilation unit. The crown jewel was no TP in the lobby bathroom and spoiled coffee creamer at breakfast.

The hotel was dingy and smelly in the hallways. The room was also dingy, and was dirty with stains on the ceiling. I would never recommend this hotel.

There's a bed. It's mostly clean (the underside of the comforter had a weird brown stain on it) and no bed bugs. It's good for one night or two if you're not planning on spending the majority of your time in the hotel. Like I said, there's a bed and it's mostly clean.

The owners have not maintained the kind of quality I expected for a Days Inn. The floor felt dirty on our bare feet. The breakfast was mediocre pastries. We had a smoking room which had no ash tray, and when one was brought, it was dirty. Days Inn should go in and give the owners some tips on how to run a motel worthy of the Days Inn reputation.

Not exactly a premium hotel but it wasn't a dump either. My room did not have a TV remote, a desk, or plug outlets (other than for the existing lamps). Bring your own shampoo, because it is not provided by the hotel. The continental breakfast consisted of a plate of stale bagels and donuts, watered down juice and not much else. Bottom line: you get what you pay for.

This hotel was absolutely awful. It was so bad, we opted to give up the room and stay elsewhere. The physical building is in major disrepair. The room we were assigned to smelled like someone had recently smoked a cigar in it. When we went to use the phone to call the front desk, the phone did not work. we went back downstairs and the only thing the front desk clerk said he could do was spray it with air freshener.

The room was clean enough, but the property needs more renovation. That seems to be going on. Main problem was the obnoxiously strong cigarette smell that they attempted to hide. Other than that, a fair price.

trash in the stair wells, crumbling concrete stairs, flea ridden smelly carpet, and twice the price of Motel 6. Never stay here. Oh, the wireless works at the front desk but not out the door. Excuse? Concrete walls make it hard. Did I say: Never stay here? Yup!

This hotel is awful. Run down. Smells bad. Clerks were absolutely without a clue. At check-in, it took the clerk more than 15 minutes to even find our reservation (Really? I mean, just how many reservations did this place have yet to arrive at 9pm on a Monday night?). Room had only one working light. No rack to hang clothes. Bathroom mirror was great if you happen to be no taller than 4 feet. General cleanliness was well... not so much. Seriously, don't stay in this place.

The pool was warm...hadn't been cleaned in awhile though and the paint was coming off the floor! The rooms were cleaned quickly...they didn't bother with areas they didn't think people would see like around the bed and dresser. No soap in one of the bathrooms by the pool and appeared to be broken! The milk was spoiled twice! Trashes were overfull. I requested a late checkout and hotel management approved it, yet...upon returning to our room discovered we were locked out with our belonging inside! Staff was nice...it is annoying to be in america and listen to the staff speaking in spanish~made me wonder what they were saying?!

The overall quality of this hotel was appalling. The so-called non-smoking room was a joke. It smelled like an ashtray. Night after night we had none of the basics like cups, and when we requested some be sent up to us, we got rude responses as if we were asking for the moon. The restrooms in the main lobby were woefully understocked (i.e., no toilet paper), and the towel rack in our room fell off the wall. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a pitiful place, with a poor level of professionalism. Go elsewhere, anywhere, unless you want to be subjected to pathetic service and substandard accommodations.
