Marina Inn and Suites - سان دييجو

The room was clean and well kept. We didn't have any real noise problems like others have mentioned. The parking lot is small but we stayed on a weeknight so there weren't any problems. The room is a little small, but serviceable for overnight stays. For the price it was a good deal.

For the price it was excellent, it is clean and very nice.Location is very convenient.

If you don't mind being close to the airport, the hotel was clean, convenient and the gentleman who checked us in was exceptionally nice and courteous.

Great location for the price. It was a little noisy but it is near the airport. I slept great anyway. It was so close to the bay, great food in Little Italy, and 2 blocks from the trolley. Great trip.

Convenient to airport and convention center. Not for a vacation. I just slept there between meetings and it was sufficient for that. Loud train horns throughout the day. Pretty clean but shower was a little funky.

The staff at the Marina Inn and Suites where very kind, from the front desk to the housekeeping crew. We liked the location near the maritime museum in San Diego. We also liked the room that had the extra bunkbeds for the kids -- this was very handy with our two boys. The parking lot is tight and sometimes full. Breakfast was simple cereal, fruit, muffins, coffee and juice, but fresh and tasty.

This hotel was convieniently located between the airport and downtown so that I could skip renting a car and use public transport all weekend. It is just down the hill (4 mins walk) from Little Italy which has more bars and restaurants than NYC's Little Italy

Be ready for noise - the hotel is located at a very busy traffic intersection, adjacent to the major rail line and under the flight path of the airport (lots of take-offs and landings several hundred feet overhead). The hotel is very outdated and the parking lot is small and very cramped. The sign in the lot saying 'park at your own risk' kind of says it all. The staff was nice enough and the hotel is very close to the Bay, including the USS Midway and Bay-related restaurants and cruises. The continental breakfast was minimal - a small counter top in a very small office, with nasty coffee, small boxed cereal, but with some fresh fruit (apples and oranges), milk and orange juice. I wouldn't stay here again myself, but if you are on a budget, a sound sleeper and don't have children with you, it would be okay for a short stay.

Stayed here for a convention - 5 min drive to convention center, clean, felt safe, helpful staff. (Even bummed a bottle-opener off the front desk guy). My only complaints would be, they could use a bit more variety in the breakfast foods, and the free WIFI was pretty sporadic. All in all, a good inexpensive alternative for a business stay!

This is basically a Motel. Very basic but the location is great. You are right off of the Harbor with views of it from some of the rooms. Easy to walk to the water or Little Italy and other venues. It is noisy due to the road and train tracks being near. The staff was very nice and the breakfast had several chioces of cereal, juice, coffee, muffins. It was filling enough to start your day.

Basically this is a perfectly good hotel, you probably won't find much better for the price/location. Surrounding neighborhood is fine and convenient to nearby transit, the hotel breakfast isn't great but there are places to buy breakfast too. It is noisy, but if you don't mind that then it's fine to sleep at. The room seemed clean, and the area seems safe. Basically if you don;t want all the bells and whistles but a good location for a decent price choose this hotel.

The hotels was nice for the most part however our room flooded and we missed a couple of appointments. Called the management for the hotel and they compensated this with a night stay in a hotel in a crappy neighborhood.

This hotel was fine for my one night stay. I was in town for a meeting and didn't want to pay the big money for the Hilton. It turned out that there is a streetcar right near that took me right to the meeting. The surrounding neighborhood, Little Italy, is fantastic. Great dining and shops. The room at the hotel was a bit shabby but the bed was comfortable, room was clean.

I think the staff were very good and professional. The room was quite small for the price. But being downtown @ the marina area, I understand the quality of the ambiance.

We were surprised that the Marina Inn was so small. But, it was comfortable and the Services was as expected. Warning: If you try to sleep during the day foregt it! The train tracks are directly behind the building. The building is on a street corner so you hear and feel traffic all day and night long. So, I recommend you stay out all night til about 2AM. Will not stay again for the price I paid.

The hotel is small and the parking lot is incredibly small. One night I had to park a block away because there weren't any spots left to park in. The rooms were small but clean. The bathroom is in need of updating but was functional. It's close to the Interstate and the Bay front. There was some noise from the trains and planes as it is near the airport. The train tracks are only half a block away. It didn't bother us much, but it did my brother and his family next door. I was aware of this at booking from other reviews and was prepared. I would recommend this hotel it was inexpensive and over all it was comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Great deal for the price and convenience to the Convention Center.

The room was OK, but it had sigarette odor, even though it was designated 'non smoking'. The air conditioner was very noisy. The location is good.

My room was okay... If you don't mind the Ants and it was very loud near the train station, and major street arteries. But other than that it was fine!! The location was great and My wife and I felt very safe we walked to Petco Park night games and we were also close to Balboa Park a short walk up the hill. I have stayed at both Westin before and the El Cortez which were both Too Expensive.. So you get what you pay for.. If all you want is a place to sleep and is at a good location.. Here is your place

Great place to stay for a casual trip over a couple of nights. Service was excellent and the room was clean and free of bugs. It's close to the Metro/Amtrak station and downtown, so the best parts of SD are accessible. Pricing is very decent too.

Very close to trolley which makes get around in the city easily. Also just a block from the beach promenade, perfect walk during sunset. The cleenliness was very good and somehow surprising concerning the low price. The only negative for me was that it was close to both the trainstation and airport which mades some nights a little bit loud.

A short walk to the water and to Little Italy. For the price, this is a bargain for San Diego. Clean, weather-beaten rooms. John at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Would stay tbhere again.

Clean room,very friendly staff , close to the airport.Pleasant stay!

Front desk clerk was very helpful getting me an early morning taxi and checkout, also made good recommendation for dinner within walking distance. The room was really hot when I got there and even with the AC blowing all night stayed prettty warm and uncomfortable. That is my main criticism. Otherwise, the location is good if you are looking for a reasonable price close to the ocean and downtown. I walked to Little Italy for dinner, it was only two blocks away. Just make sure the room temp stays reasonable!

Bad experience. They only have about 15 parking spots which is nowhere enough.

Great bed. Even though this hotel is old, it was clean and comfy. It was withing walking distance to Little Italy and the Embarcadero. Parking is limited, so we parked and walked everywhere. We will stay here again.

rooms were tiny and out dated and just did not feel like a safe area.

Rimeligt til prisen. Morgenmaden består af, at man kan hente kaffe, kolde hårdkogte æg, og muffins i receptionen (!) Bad: Stor brusekabine, men uden thermostat blandingsbatteri, og kun fast bruser på væggen. God beliggenhed, tæt på havnen og 'Little Italy'.

Das Hotel liegt in recht guter Lage, wenn man einen kleinen Fußmarsch in Kauf nehmen kann. In 2 min ist man in Little Italy, wo eine Menge guter Restaurants warten. Auch die Entfernung zum Zoo und Balboa Park ist in innerhalb von 10 min mit dem Auto in Ordnung. Direkt hinter dem Hotel befindet sich allerdings eine Bahnstrecke, die durchaus hörbar ist. Bei festem Schlaf allerdings kein Problem. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut augestattet. Wir hatten sogar einen Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine etc. Preis Leistung also gut.

Good hotel at this pricepoint. Walking distance to little Italy and trolley. Very noisy at night due to proximity to train line and pacific highway. No pool. Still recommended for budget travellers.

Es la segunda ocación que visito el hotel, y para mi fue muy grato ver que en esta ultima ocación, las habitaciones ya cuentan con refrigerador y microhondas. Esto es de gran ayuda para el hueped, felicidades por implementar esto.
