Williams Grand Canyon Travelodge - ويليامز

Williams is a charming town with shops filled with hand made goodies to choose from. It was a shame that this hotel did not share that same rating. It was cramped, and had not tub. It was a shower or nothing.

Nicely upgraded hotel....awesome wireless connection!

It was simple and cozy. The price was affordable esp with mini ref in every room. We were able to get the adjacent rooms for my mom & brother. The only set back was the free WIFI as claimed but depends on where you are, you need to be closer to the door, literally, to get a signal. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable.

The service was great. The location is merely 1 hr from the south rim entrance. Perfect for price versus value. The town is also very cute and has a lot of old rt 66 to see. There was a weird noise coming from the bathroom next to me that woke me up at night. But other than that it was great.

Good location, clean, fairly updated rooms and low price would make me visit again. The rooms were nice, well appointed and clean. My only complaints were the wall unit/heater was a bit loud, the bed was not all that comfortable and the noise of other guests, mainly doors was annoying. The flooring/carpet on the stairs/walk ways could be spruced up as well as the office, but the staff was friendly. You can't beat the location and price. We would visit again.

Wonderful plc en-route to grand canyon. The room is nicely heated in the freezing weather. Jus opposite the lodge is a nice cafe with warm yummy food.

This hotel is in Williams, about 45min from the canyon at the highway turnoff. It's a quaint mtn town with some cute diners and great clean air. The hotel is old but clean, very nice staff, very comfortable bed. Only the heater/AC unit disturbed, it was as loud as a B-29. But we slept great and conti brkfst was fine, nearby cafes with better fare of course. An excellent choice for very cheap!

Excellent for overnight stay on way to The Grand Canyon.

WAS GOOD FOR THE MONEY. WAS CLEAN. TAKES DOGS AT A CHARGE PER DOG PER NIGHT, HAS AN INDOOR YEAR ROUND HOT TUB, SO TAKE A SUIT. WAS GOOD FOR THE $$$$$$$$. NOT A LUXUARY HOTEL BUT THE PRICE WAS GOOD FOR THE ROOM WE GOT. FAMILY LIVES ON SITE SO THEY TAKE CARE OF THINGS.

It was too cold outside for us like -8 C during the morning and even colder during the prev night (that's when we stayed at this hotel). But the room heater made it feel like the hottest day in a desert :) Took us some time to figure out how to get that thing cool down a bit. The front desk lady was really helpful. Sorry, forgot her name. In the morning our car was covered with ice/frost whatever you call it. It was the first time I saw anything like that and was scared it might damage the rental car. The lady explained us how to get this working. The complimentary breakfast was not out of the world or too great but sufficient for us, me and my parents. Would not mind staying there again. Bad- Internet was slow. And in the morning it didn't work. It started working only at 7 am but we had to leave early to our next destination.

Williams is a beautiful little town with interesting things to see and the lodge was very pleasant and well priced for this season. I would recommend it to anyone travelling route 66.

Clean, warm, kind persons to front desk; 10 minutes walking distance to railway station to Grand Canion train; Free wireless internet, easy to connect w/ Windows XP, a bit difficult for Windows Vista; Cons: They did not give AAA discount if booked through a third partie like hotels.com

Very convenient location and good for value,close to nearby restaurants. Good for overnight stay.

overall is satisfying.. i like my experience in this hotel.

Staff is great, room is about what you can expect from a Travelodge, you get whay you pay for. Location is excellent. Only stayed 1 night so it fit the bill for us.

I was stayed at the Williams travel lodge this past weekend . I asked for to queens and instead I got 2 full size beds. The heat sucked in that room . I would not stay there again.

This is a nice quiret hotel on the beautiful Route 66 just on the outside of downtown Williams, AZ Gateway to the Grand Canyon. They have ample parkiing, close to restaurants and entertainment, and a friendly and efficient staff which keep the motel clean an in good repair.

Overall, Williams is a cute and charming place to stay if going to the Grand Canyon or proceeding on towards your next destination. The only draw back to this hotel, which is dog friendly, is that it is a little run down.

Good place to stop and rest if you're on you way to the Grand Canyon or proceeding due ether west to your final destination. The rooms are good size and the location allows you to walk the entire town and enjoy it without worrying about trying to sleep due to the noise of tourists. Our dog enjoyed his stay.

Everything was great about our stay the only thing that bugged me was that we put the "Do not disturb" sign on the door because we didn't need our room cleaned on the first morning and wanted to sleep in. The room cleaner knocked anyway and after we didn't answer they called us asking if we needed services. lol besides that, our stay was great. The rooms were clean, there was plenty of hot water and we never heard our neighbors. We would definitely stay again!

the room had a well used look, like a worn hooker. The carpet on the stair well was torn & is a hazard to any one in heels. The linen did not look clean so we stripped the bed and doused it with Rest Easy to be safe since we found what looked like a bug. The manager/owner however, showed us their on site laundry facility and explained that they don't press the sheets, hence the worn hooker look. He let use get clean lined and remake the bed. The pillows smelled like a sweaty trucker had some serious cuddle time with them. There was no coffee pot in the room and the microwave had a faulty door, so getting the microwave open was like participating in the WWE Smack Down.

I have stayed at other hotels in area and this is great for the price.

Had basic necessities for a 10 hour stay. Booked at 4:00pm in Vegas(online) arrived at approx 9:30pm. Check-in took 5 min, got to room everything in order went to sleep. check-out at 7am. Greatand inexpensive place to stay for a one day excursion to the south rim of Grand Canyon.

The motel is remodeled now and is therefore very nice and clean. Location to the South Rim/Grand Canyon perfect! I would recommend it to anyone who has a limited budget (hotels at the Grand Canyon Village were much higher) and still wants a very reasonable stay! Did not have breakfast though, so can't say anything about that.

It was down to freezing outside, this October night and there was but one thin blanket on the beds and no other blanket in the room. I had to go out to the car after going to bed to get a blanket I happen to carry in the car. Air/heater was so noisy no one could sleep with that!

This hotel is located on historic Route 66 along with a "string" of other hotels. Many of the other hotels offered a full breakfast buffet, this hotel didn't even have a place to sit and eat the "continental breakfast" they offered. The hotel is very old and has not been kept up well. The rooms were very small and cramped and the bathrooms were so tiny, you could barely turn around in them. We would not stay there again.

You get what you pay and more. I thought i am going to get more of the cheapos hotels but travellodge is no too bad. Don't expect something fancy. It is just that you get a clean room with some facitlities and none of them roaches :)

Good place stay when travel to grand canyon. Will stay again.

The hotel was nice clean and comfy.

free breakfast is toast , muffins, juice, and cereal. good enough to hold you over till you get where you are going

The location of the lodge/hotel is good, quiet surroundings, as its located at the end of the strip. It's right across from the quaint but famous "Twister Diner" and we had a blast walking along the famed Route 66 while popping into stores to buy souvenirs. A convenience place to sleep before heading to Grand Canyon or heading back home.

very nice and adequate place to stay...many places to eat within walking distance...free breakfast included...the rooms looked like they were just remodeled...all granite shower and counter top, new mattress and carpet...very comfortable
