Looked kind of sketchy from the outside, but our room was nice. Tucked away in the suburbs a bit, but public transportation was in easy driving distance, and that made it pretty simple to get downtown.

the service over there is bad. employees don't cooperate with me when I want to change the room cause of noises. I asked them to clean the room and they didn't. I don't recommend it.

was a little out of my way and the bar was not opened that they owned so it was a little hard to grab a drink on my vacation but the people were really nice there and they had good rooms for there price but it was a little to far from chicago but if your looking for a very friendly hotel and town this i would recommend!!!!!!

Its march here and no heat or air conditioning controls in the room. It was freezing cold in there. Not to mention the gaping gap of at least 1/2 inch under the door with no weather stripping.

very bad and no room service. no tooth paste or shaving cream available. very bad odor in the room. bad bed sheets also. I personally will never recommend this motel to any one

The room and bathroom was dirty. I had my children with me and there was no channels whatsoever with cartoons. the door was hard to close. there was no microwave, fridge or anything of the sort. I wouldnt do it again.

All we needed was a place to crash for the night, and this place did the trick. Conveniently located near a Starbucks and grocery store. Fairly clean, did smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Recommended as a cheap place to crash if you are not planning on spending much time at the hotel.

My wife was freaked out on the first night. I thought it was fine. It wasn't a Hilton but the price was right. The room was clean and the Nile PD across the street we felt very safe.

The room was clean but you get what you pay for. There were no wash clothes or tissues in the room, there was one tiny bar of soap and the tub had continous dripping of hot water making the room feel very humid. But for one night and the cheap price, anyone can endure the small things.

We stayed there for two nights and it was fine. For the price you couldn't expect that much but it was ok. The only problem I had was with the ac. It didn't put out that much cold air but it did cool the room down after a while. It was really easy to get to the bus/train. It was right across from the poice station. Nice area. All and all I would stay there again.

Nice cheaper hotel to stay at. We travelled to Chicago for vacation and wanted a hotel which was cheaper as we just wanted to stay at night. To my surprise this hotel was good at the price which they provide. Only thing I would have liked is if they would have provided complimentary coffee. I would certainly stay in this hotel on my trip back to Chicago.

Room serve was bare minimum. Missed wash rags on second day. Towels can be discarded and replaced with new ones. Main office needs remodeling especially the floor carpet.

If you consider the overall price of service, it is a good deal. Some other things such as customer service and overall room condition give little less grade to this place. Generally, we were satisfied with one night stay on Saturday evening, when usually is not possible to find cheap and good room in Chicago area. So if you want to have a good price for overnight stay this is a good deal. For longer stay would recommend with caution. We stayed on the second floor and it was really comfortable.

A room in this price range is hard to find. If you have an emergency or will just be sleeping there then this is for you. If you don't like chore boy bits in the drawers or ciggarett burns in the soap dish while the room is supposedly non smoking, try another hotel.

If all you want is an inexpensive bed and a shower, you might stay here. If you want ANYTHING else even resembling comfort or service DO NOT stay here.

Give this motel a satisfaction rating of "1" is actually generous. This was probably the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. Our group had reserved a total of three rooms for two nights. What I am about to relate applies specifically to the room I stayed in, however all three rooms were in generally the same poor condition. The non-smoking room we requested had clearly been smoked in and we found that our smoke detector on the ceiling was covered up with a shower cap to prevent it from alarming. Much of the grouting around the bathtub was black with mold, as were the vents and spots on the ceiling in our bathroom. Both bulbs were burned out in the wall lamp that was mounted above the headboard of our bed. The lamp on our dresser had a broken switch so that the only way to turn it on or off was to climb underneath and plug it in. The carpet was old and frayed and stained and so dirty that black footprints were left on a slightly damp terrycloth shower mat when walking from the main room into the bathroom with bare feet. One member of our party is prone to allergies and started to experience symptoms soon after checking in. They were severe enough to require her to check out and move to another hotel about four hours later on the first night. The overall staff (and the manager in particular) was unfriendly and rude and ultimately refused to give us a refund on our prepaid reservation for either night’s stay in the room that she checked out of. The best advice I can give is to stay far, far away from this place!

Location is good for a single night, would not stay longer. They became very unprofessional when I asked for the copy of my id back...there was no reason they needed that other than to verify who I was when I checked in.

The location of the property is central to many attractions and shopping. This needs to be balanced with the quality of the property. The rooms are spacy enough, but the smell upon entry is very musky. Lots of bugs on the window sill. It is scary to walk on the carpet without your shoes. The walls are paper thin. One can hear what is going on next door and vice versa. Unless the property does some work to improve the quality and condition, the value is not worth the price paid.

Anything you pay, is way too much for this place. They advertise as being "renovated", however, I think this consisted of a new bathroom countertop and paint. The rest of the room was literally falling apart. Check this, blood stains and all. It is not good, I don't know how much longer this place can be allowed to stand. I gave it two stars because for the most part the bed was clean and comfortable, the A/C worked, and it was quiet.

Not a bad hotel, right across from the police station though the neighborhood seemed shady. Front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was passable. Smelt like smoke, and the soap dish looked like someone used it for an ash tray. Decorative runners on beds had cigarette burns. Room was missing iron. Only stayed for one night and it was fine for that one night. Would not recommend an extended stay here, but in a pinch it was ok, comfortable enough and safe: place to sleep and then shower. No frills at all.

Overall not a bad place to stay, but definately needs some updates. Some pain peeling on the ceiling and carpet should be replaced. not a place i wanted to walk barefoot, but bathroom and sheets were clean, which were the essentials.

We (2 adults) made a reservation for a standard room with 2 beds; however, when we arrived, the front desk had us with only one bed. It was explained to us that they recorded as merely a "standard" room, which to them meant only one bed, even though our printed prepaid reservation indicated standard room with two beds. When we went to shower in the morning, there were no wash cloths. The front desk told us that they do not provide wash cloths. There's a first time for everything.

Climatisation was noisy and it'simpossible to stop it

A good place to stay if you want to sleep for the night. I was first placed in a 2 bed room that had a musty smell. I was surprised that the place does not have a good heating system being in a place that experience extreme cold. Room was cold even though it was in late May. Temp was hovering around 45 deg and wet. Later after I tried to charge my cellphone - the fuse blew and I did not have electricity for the night. After complaining the next day, I was moved to a different room with better living condition

The weather was cold there in Chicago that weekend late in November but they did not turn on the heat as high as it should be. Felt like the temperature in the room was like below 60 degrees. The room was dirty and probably they never cleaned those chairs.

For the money, this place was OK. The bed was comfortable. Even though there seemed to be a lot of activity around the motel, my room was quiet. My only complaint would be the heavy antiseptic smell to the room. I might try a different place next time and pay a little more for better atmosphere.

The hotel makes a xerox of your driver's license and attempts to keep it on file. Could lead to ID theft.

Very easy check inn and check out. The place look suspicious but at the end its very safe. It's a great option if you have car and want to save some $ for other stuff in Chicago!!

I was happy with our stay, due to location and price. (Though maid service did not occur everyday, when they did come it was satisfactory.)

stayed here due to low budget, the room was clean other then the window in the room, dont even move the curtains, the bed and the bathroom were clean, ac worked good, it was a bit dark as one bulb in the lamp was out...i requested a room away from the road due to noise... there was no breakfast nor coffee as mentioned, check in time was wrong, they gave us a king bed instead of two double which we booked although they called and ask if we wanted to change we refused, had a 3 month old baby with us and the room seemed like a smoking room we had requested non smoking, our clothes smelled like cig smoke, the maids just entered the room without checking good thing i was rite by the door so i rushed to shut it, i had just got out of the shower...theres a window right next to the shower and there no curtain although the window has that foggy kinda glass but i asked my wife to see if she can see me trough it from the other side to check and she said she could even tell my shape...on the way out the staff was not helpful, there's other motels at a walking distance so choose wisely

This hotel was good since it was super cheap, however the hotel honestly was really ghetto and looked unsafe. To be frank, it looked like a place that might be frequented by those doing illicit things. It had a bar attached to it, and the overall area just looked kind of shady. I think it might be worth going to a little more pricey place for some peace of mind.
