Pullman Auckland - أوكلاند

Stayed at the Pullman 3 times; first two times in the Residence tower, the other in the older section. This review is for the newer Residence section (I would rate the older section a 2 out of 5, so make sure when you book to specify you want accommodation in the Residences). The residence rooms are beautifully appointed with all modern amenities and comfort. Very spacious and comfortable with expansive views. Recommend without hesitation. Great hotel staff!

If you avoid rooms on lower floors near lifts - these are very noisy - the hotel is comfortable, friendly, with good food and bars. The locatin is good, just out of the main CBD street, but next to parks. Minor problems with irons were fixed quickly and they did move me to a much quieter rom once I complained.

This hotel was beautiful and the service was great. The room was large and extremely clean, and we even had a balcony with views of the city. The only downsides were that the mattress was a bit hard and the hotel was up an incredibly steep hill (although there were a lot of steep streets in Auckland). We loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend it to others.

We realy liked this hotel. Nice location, you can walk to the sights from here. Room was small but adaquate with big, modern bathroom. Balconies have views of city or bay and vary in size. Nice lobby. The restraunt was overpriced, but the food was excellent . The spa was first rate with an indoor pool, open air on one side, The staff was excellent. Helpful and quick to solve any problems.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a great stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Awesome breakfast . Comfortable room. Will be back for sure.

This isa ggood quaolity hotel in an excellent location. Excellent pool , spa , sauna and gym areas. Very convenient to Auckland University.

The room description on the booking clearly states the following details: 2 double beds. City view and/or Sea view. Upon check-in, I was advised that there were 2 single beds. I advised the clerk that the details they display are for 2 double beds, hence I had booked this room. I was told that they do not have any rooms that have that configuration. In addition, the view was of the back of the hotel and not city/sea views in the slightest. These issues are important, and I certainly wouldn't expect a 5*hotel to have these incorrect on a booking partners site. Additionally, the quoted information around NZ$15 for self park is incorrect, as the price is indeed NZ$25. My parents run a hotel in the UK and we also use booking partners, so I know how easy it is to ensure this information is maintained to ensure that guests know what to expect when they arrive. There are plenty of other cheaper alternatives I could have booked, for example the Mecure on Queen Street, which did offer 2 double beds in a room, which is what I required - and only wish I had booked with them. I stay in Hotels nearly every week for work/leisure. The service at this hotel is LESS than 5 star.

We are return customers and very much like and enjoy this hotel. We strongly recommend when the time comes for refurbishment that the lighting in the bathroom be improved for all women to be able to enjoy doing their makeup etc. Mirror cupboards would make an excellent improvement. This is an issue for many hotels where we stayed in New Zealand.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. There was access to good dining and close to town. I was disapointed the spa was totally booked for the week I would have booked before coming if I had known that was how it worked as it was to be a treat to end our holiday and the main reason we picked the hotel :(

Fantastic hotel, well situated in Auckland, lovely rooms, great staff. Great food. Would stay there again. I would recommend it. And for all Airline lovers you get to see many different Airline Crews adds to the excitement of traveling.

Room was amazing, massive, handy location with a good view.

Stayed at the Pullman for 3 nights at the end of July.Chanced our arm for an upgrade as it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to an executive suite which was stunning. Great views over the park. Staff were lovely and the hotel itself was of a very high standard. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous day spa. Room Service food was amazing and the staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was excellent in location,price, and service. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here any time.

This hotel is lovely and was a welcome break after traveling around the world. The residence tower is wonderful and the SPA is a must-do while visiting.

Your IT man who worked with the Internet service, Jackson Wong? was great...He and I tried to figure out a problem with my Iphone, he researched it for he had problems and then, because of that, enabled me to have access in my room along with the Executive lounge also.That was wonderful and was really appreciated by me.. thx..

Previously the Hyatt, this hotel has a fantastic spa and pool with which to relax and enjoy. The 1 bed suite is spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom functional. Overall a very nice hotel, especiaylly if you can get it at a last minute rate.

Stayed at Pullman Auckland for 6 days. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was the worst part - kept giving us dirty linens so we had them changed every day. Room service was very good, valet parking was cheap and concierges were very helpful and friendly. Spa was also good. Hotel location was perfect for us - it's a 5 minute walk from the ferry and shops, cafes. The hotel is at the top of a hill so it can be tiring to walk up at the end of a long day but not too much so. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had booked to stay at the Hyatt but they appeared to have sold it some time ago. Why did no one tell us? The Pullman is very Business oriented and appears much changed from when we stayed about four years ago. Nothing greatly wrong with it but very impersonal.

Pullman just bought this property from Hyatt. Friendly Staff, nice inside swimming pool, Great Concierge. This hotel is located at the top of a very steep hill so if you are not planning on renting a car take this into account.

Good location. Friendly staff. Good food. Just a good experience overall. Will stay here again.

This hotel is older, but rooms are renovated and comfortable. Staff was generic, good but nothing special. The cost for wireless internet is additional to the room cost and is expensive like most of NZ. The hotel has an excellent fitness club with a great view, with many machines and types of equipment, including a pool and sauna, and also a spa (I cannot comment on the spa because I did not use it). I did not eat at the restaurant, but the menu looked good. The location is interesting: It is on top of a hill, next to Albert Park, with nice views of the port; however it is a little far from where the action is, which may be good because it is less noisy. I walked with my suitcase from where the airport bus (Airbus) dropped me on Queen Street, and it is a good 10 or 15 minute hike up the hill, which was ok with me but may not be ok for other people. There are some restaurants and cafés nearby, on Chancery and Courthouse and Bacon. And a few more further down the hill towards Queen Street.

We had a great stay here and I would recommend it in a jiffy. Though the hotel looks a little tired upstairs, it compares extremely well with other five star options in Auckland. I've stayed at the Hilton and Sebel on the Viaduct and the Hyatt compares very favorably.

We spent our first night in New Zealand here and it was in a pretty good location close to the University. It was perfectly fine for the one night and a good base to explore Auckland. I was even able to watch a premiership game live from the UK on my tv!

We both enjoyed our stay in the Hotel and would use it again,the room was very comfortable and the food in the restaurant very good. All in all it was good value for money.

This hotel was in a good location for spending a few days in Auckland. Very good standard of accommodation at reasonable price. Buffet breakfast was excellent value.

This is by far the best hotel I´ve ever stayed in. Everybody is so gentle and polite that I felt like a king. Auckland is not a very interesting city, so this hotel made my visit worth it. If I ever go to Auckland again,I´d be very pleased to stay again in the Hyatt.

Wir haben schon zahlreiche Hotels weltweit kennengelernt, hier waren wir vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut positiv überrascht. Wir genossen einen traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht und haben uns im Pullmann sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig, der Stil ist exqusit, die Betten hervorragend und selbst der Hotelpool war eine positive Überraschung. Das Personal war überaus aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir werden uns PULLMANN zukünftig merken. :)

Veldig bra hotell, men masse fasiliteter. Trim rom, SPA og utrolig bra restaurant. Upåklagelig sevice og avslapende armosfære. Luksus for bra pris. Gåavstand til sentrum, men vær obs på at hotellet ligger på toppen av en bratt bakke, så hvis du har problemer med å gå oppover bakke i 10 min, bør du se etter andre plasser å bo. Men alt i alt VELDIG bra!

Nice hotel, especially liked the swimming pool / training facilities downstairs. Room definitely value for money, but I was disappointed at high extra costs for Internet in the room. I would recomment request access to the Executive lounge, then wireless internet, breakfast etc is included for (at the time) a reasonable surcharge, alt. upgrade to a room with cooking facilities. Friendly staff, good service. Note that there is a steep hill to access the hotel when coming from the city center.
