Hotel Regina - باريس

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Don't expect modernness because it's a very old hotel and that's what makes it so great. However, be prepared to spend a lot of money on everything from coffee to soda. Real expensive area!

Absolute best location facing the Louvre and Paris' Tulleries Garden within steps to most major attractions. Beautiful, historical hotel had a room with balcony overlooking Eiffel Tower and Paris (at no extra cost.) Wonderful service, and perfect for the total Paris experience.

Wonderful location across from the Louvre and lovely Tuilleries Gardens ...just across the Pont Royal from Musee d'Orsay. Many good restaurants in the vicinity, and within walking distance of Concorde, Place Vendome, Madeleine, Opera, etc. "Family room" is perfect for 2 or more, as it includes 2 adjoining rooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of closets. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I enjoyed my stay at the regina. the only agravating glitch is the internet connection which we bought for the lengh of our stay.we kept losing it after some idle time and had trouble sometimes getting back. Also they charged us for a city tx although only 3euros per day, but we should have known in advance, beside that I will book again there.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to make our stay great. We walked everywhere from our hotel. We had set up some tours before arriving however, I think the consierge service had much better recommendations from the hotel. If we are lucky enough to go back to Paris; we would choose this hotel again.

Old carpet in room, some difficulty with Internet access and confusion over whether breakfast was included. Perfect location. I'd stay here again

Our children booked us a trip to Paris for our anniversary and we had such a wonderful time and an enjoyable stay at the hotel. We arrived early and they accomodated an early check in, they were very helpful and gracious. The hotel was getting some work done and during our first night there was a bit of noise and they moved us into another room (upgraded better view etc) at no cost and with ease. We had a wonderful time at the hotel, the rooms are very euro (small) but comfy. The location was excellent and we would deffinately stay there again!

The location of this hotel is fantastic, if you intend to spend your days near to the Louvre as it is just a 5 mins walk away. It's very close to the subway interchange of Concorde and Louvre-Rivoli. The staff were accomodating, however a few seemed slightly pretentious, and one in perticular just a bit weird. The 2 day stay was comfortable and a good sized room with decent dual showers and wash basins in the bathroom. Overall i would recomend this hotel as it held up to 4 star standard and location was perfect.

For four star hotel and the price, the rooms are small. Little table. Smell in the toilets that have no window.

My 8 year old son and I spent 2 nights at Regina hotel Mid Feb. The location is perfect right next to Louvre and Tuilleries, but the room we got did not seem like a superior room that we had booked. The bar is VERY expensive but I guess so is Paris ...

Across street from huge beautiful park/garden the contains Louvre Museum. Very close to metro station and multiple resteraunts and cafes. The hotel was lovely with very friendly staff. The bathroom was also very spacious and luxurious. The big downside is the walls are paper thin. We were sandwiched between a lady who was sick and coughed all night long and another that was being repainted. We heard her coughing like she was laying in bed with us, and the paint fumes were almost unbearable! The temp went down to 15-18 degrees F at night and after returning to our room we would have to keep the window open all night just so we could breath. I got pretty sick while I was there because of this not to mention the nightly headaches from the strong paint smell

The Regina Hotel is Paris Perfect. The hotel had everyting we were looking for a Great location (across the street from the Lourve), extremely comfortable room (king bed very nice pillows and sheets, big bath and a view of the Eiffel Tower and Tulleries garden), and very helpful customer service. They also had a very nice restaurant and lounge. The Regina also is very close to restaurants, coffee shops, & grocery. I would definitely book this hotel again when returning to Paris.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The conceirge desk goes over and beyond ensuring your happiness. We actually were scheduled at the end of our vacation to stay at a Waldorf Hotel in Versailles but decided because of the staff, the location and the facilities this was the best place in the city for us. Thank you to everyone for the most wonderful experience of a lifetime. The flickering candles are awesome - only wish I could find them in the state. Thank you all!

Excellent location, staff, and hotel experience added much to my good impression of Paris. Only negative is breakfast is not included and very expensive. Best to eat at one of many near by cafes.

The hotel is very nice and the manager of the hotel which is Richard is a person who knows how to treat very well the needs of the traveler.

We loved the Hotel Regina and would stay again. The location was ideal. The service was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Next time I would choose a larger room, however, We had the smallest room which was the only type availableover a holiday.

super location, very traditional and makes you feel like Paris in the old times, with modern comfort.

Booked a superior room but it was nothing like the one's on hotel brochure. Very basic old fashioned. During 2 nights stay, both mornings woken up by a banging noise for some plumbing work near the room. Good location but nothing special about it.

The hotel is one of the most centrally placed hotel. (but so are a few around). Having stayed in a few elite hotels during my time, it was first odd that there was NO mini bar in the room, and when we asked for some ice and wine glasses, we were told that there would be a charge of 5euros per glass form that service. Reason being they wanted unto patronize their OWN bar. Rooms were very good otherwise. So will let younreaders decide,. I for certain will not be back here.

I booked this hotel for a romantic weekend with my husband and we got a beatifull room with impresive views of the Eifell tower an the Tuileries. The location was very convenient and the hotel really charm.

The hotel was lovely and very convenient. Rooms were nicely furnished and spacious by European standards. Close to metro, Louvre, Palais Royale. Quiet. Very nice hotel.

Great views to the Louvre , tour de Eiffel and the Tulleries. Bathroom tiles were not as cleaned as you would expect of this kind of hotel, Staff is helpful and friendly,

Excellent location for museums and shopping. Metro is just ~5min walk away. Room and toilet were relatively clean. Hotel staffs were helpful and able to communicate in English effectively. The decors for this hotel are very outdated and old. While the mattress and pillows were clean, but they were not very comfortable and very old.

This was our first trip to Paris so we wanted a centralized location. This hotel was perfect. you might be able to find a cheaper hotel but this place was very clean, comfortable, nice sized room. I would definitely go back to this hotel

Location of hotel is unsurpassable! One is walking distance from anywhere important. Hotel crew is service minded and the atmosphere is pleasant. One flaw- hotel charges exaggeraged prices for extras - Wi Fi for 4.5€/hr for each instrument (laptop, iphone), and 15€ (fifteen!) a day for electric kettle in the room!

Seems quite old decor but very clean. Great location. But wifi isn't free.

Hotel Regina is a nice change from corporate style hotels. It has an old world charm and an excellent staff. You can't beat the location. The rooms are comfortable (the bed was excellent) but some of the furnishings could use a little sprucing up. The internet was a bit spotty at times and the breakfast was very expensive. However, it felt like a true Parisian hotel and I can't wait to return.

I would stay at the hotel again, but with conditions. I requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel, which I was given - overlooking the quiet back courtyard instead of the Rue de Rivoli. The fact that the door beside the bed, to the adjoining room, offered NO sound filering or buffering meant that every word, even spoken quietly, sounded as though it was in my room. I could easily have joined in conversations without so much as opening that door. This became a problem when those staying in that room returned between 2:00 and 2:30 AM and gathered there with their friends for 3 nights running. I did not complain to the management about the noise because the other guests were not partying or shouting, just talking. It was enough to disrupt my sleep during every night of my stay. Otherwise, the staff members were pleasant, if not overly helpful and the food was very good. For someone who wants to explore this cental area of Paris, it would be difficult to top this location.

I am a frequent business traveler and spend little time in my hotel room. I chose Regina for the level of service they boasted, plus the location, in the very center of Paris, I expected a very unsophisticated, tourist-y experience and it was quite the opposite. I do not speak French and am not familiar with Paris, their concierge helped me understand the underground Metro system, the tipping ettiquite, where to take clients to eat etc.. very helpful staff, the hotel is incredibly well kept, obviously the building is centuries old, not new construction, the price per room was astronomical if booked elsewhere, and this likely kept the crowds away. I was very impressed all around, the room was comfortable, no mini-fridge, but the bar downstairs was more than willling to mix a strong drink and snacks gratis. i would stay again!

Staff excellent. Rooms a bid old and fairly small for a "superior" room. Location can't be beat for central Paris.

Front desk staff was okay, but they did not volunteer information. You have to ask them for trips information. Sometimes they give one trip information, but not the others. You have to ask them about all trip options they have. Also, they will not give you information about other tours. And if they will the information is wrong. They gave us wrong times. They said that we were late for all the river and bus tours , as they all operate until 6pm. But it was not true. When we found out it was too late. The city has different tours through out even night tours by boat and by bus.

We stayed at the Regina for just a few days -- having spent a week there in '07 -- and enjoyed it more this time. We arrived late and were upgraded to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Tuilleries -- couldn't be more romantic. The service was wonderful; from the doorman who helped us with our car and luggage to the concierge who gave us a terrific recommendation for dinner and booked it for us and then called to confirm; everyone friendly and helpful. Our favorite place to stay in Paris; across from the Louvre and walking distance to the most impressive sites.

From our, admitedly, attic-like room, we had doors leading from the bedroom and bathroom to tiny balconies overlooking the Tuilleries Gardens, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Great location! Maids also came by in the afternoon to change towels, leave chocolates and see if there was anything we needed. Yes, the hotel was older, but still kept in tip-top condition. No shower in our room, so we had to crouch in the bath. Minus points for the cost of the breakfasts: about $32 for Continental and $38 for full, and we could not order a la carte. We went to nearby cafes.

Great location, grand hotel, elegant rooms (no fridge!). Very helpful accommodating staff.

Excellent location and service; impressive lobby; room was comfortable, clean and relatively large (given European standards)

The Hotel Regina is close to all the must-see sights. It is next to Louvre and there was a lot of traffic noise, but our hotel windows were inside the court we could not hear any noise even if we had our balcony doors open. Our room was small but cozy, i would recommend this hotel to anyone.
