Definately recommend this place and you must get the breakfast package, you will not be dissapointed. The staff from cleaning crew to waiters and on uo where all excellent. We liked it so much we stayed a second night and they even accomodated us by putting our rooms right next to each other on short notice. The shopping mall right across the street is awsome.

The rooms were clean, staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I enjoyed everything, except I don' t understand why there is a charge for parking. i found it inconvinient and that makes me doubt to return or even recommend it.

It was relaxing, perfect location to get around, specially when visiting UCSD, except for asking for directions at front desk and being sent in opposite direction and driving for 20 min. before turning around. Everything else was perfect, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding and the staff was wonderful. I will stay at this hotel next time I am in San Diego.

This was the first time staying at this hotel but would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Very close to everything you need and the staff was friendly and helpful

The room was great considering it was a last minute decision. The Hotel was clean, very inviting, all of the staff very professional and considerate. Our only hesitation was the restaurant. They sat us down and seemed to have only one person to attend the bar and dinning area. It later worked out, but the chicken seemed a little tasteless. They m,are up for it at breakfast the dinning personnel were GREAT and the food selection was great. Thank You and your employees who made the stay memorable. Nick

Parking is not convenient. Long lines to exit parking.

This hotel is nice but the pictures online made it look nice and newer than it actually is. It's a great idea to get breakfast in your room rate, it's a really good breakfast buffet and it's really cheap and it saves you a lot of money than going out for breakfast. This hotels in a nice location, good restaurants nearby and close to the freeways as well as Seaworld and other attractions. It's a small drive to Gaslamp area so if you if that's mainly where you want to go to then you should get a hotel in that area.

The only think was bad that I got charge of $ 40.00 for Vallet parking and they park it only One night I think with the amount we are paying For the rooms it should be free parking I wish someone Can get a good care of it Thank you

I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE HILTON. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS, THERE ARE NO MICROWAVE OR FRIDGE. IT COST ME $10 EACH FOR EVERY NIGHT. I BELIEVE EVERY HOTEL SHOULD PROVIDE A MICROWAVE AND FRIDGE. I WAS ALSO CHARGED $16 PER NIGHT FOR PARKING. THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE SMALL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE BAR AREA AND RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL. OVERALL, IT WAS A NICE HOTEL.

Service was great/room was clean, I unfortunately left a brand new pair of shoes I had just got from Nordstroms in the room after I checked out, when I called the next day of course they couldn't find them but I guess that's my own fault but still would have been nice if they had put them aside.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, close to restraunts, shopping, and major attractions. The staff was friendly and professional. It is a family friendly hotel with a heated pool and spa. The breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the day.

Carpet inside the room is like worst that street. Street roads are maintained very neetely than the Hilton hotel.very noicy. Walls are very thin.i don't recommend this when you go with family or kids.

The drain in my bath tub was very backed up. Since I only stayed one night I didn't bother notifying maintenance and didn't make a big deal about it. Other than that, everything else was great.

My hubby and I spontaneously visited SD on a date night. We made a same day reservation and chose Hilton where we have stayed before. Mall, theater, trendy eateries and coffee houses nearby. The hotel provided us free buffet breakfast with really attentive wait staff. Room was nice and comfy.

I stayed at this hotel to attend a weekend conference. The room was exceptionally clean, the front desk people very courteous and helpful. Two extra bonuses - the shopping in this area was great, and the rate I got from hotels.com was much better than my conference rate. Plus, I decided to attend only a few days before, so to be well accommodated and pleasantly treated is an unusual experience these days! Thank you, hotels.com!

What a pleasant reception we get when we arrive, especially from the guys incharge of valet parking! I don't want to bluff just for getting a good name from the hotel owners. At the same time, I don't do knit-picking. Nevertheless, I would like to bring some points for improvement resulting in win-win situation for both the clients and Hilton. Here we go! (1) Fridge should be provided in every room. We are in 21st century, the age of internet/laptop/tablet and not in the stone age, uh! (2) At least a couple of complimentary water bottles should be provided in every room. People can live without luxury, but not without water, uh! But for Hilton, "It is better to travel than to arrive"!

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, we had a king bed. The only problem was the air conditioner to cool the room, it may have been broken. The service was all good from my check in to the restaurant. Parking is small and you get charged $16.00 daily. I would totally stay here again if I go to San Diego area and get a good deal on room.

Everything was nice, clean, and overall organized. I would defenitely recomend this hotel to my family and friends.

Went to Hotels.com for the first time to get a room near by where some friends from out of town were staying. Very proffesional site, easy to navigate and could not believe that I could book a room at the Hilton, for less than the Comfort Inn. Totally satisfied with those results and will recoommend others to use Hotels.com .

The Hotel was great. So far the best hotel I've stayed in the Mission Valley area. The room was clean had plenty of Towels. The view from my room was good too. I had breakfast at the resturant and the staff was great. Great hotel will be back agian.

The location of the hotel, relative to points of interest, is EXCELLENT. It is right off the 8 freeway and between the 5 and 15 freeways. You can get to the mall, airport, downtown, Sea World, and other area attractions in 10 minutes or less. The rooms are clean, large, and well appointed. The staff was very nice and quickly attend to any needs or requests. If you have a car, there is a daily fee for self parking or valet service is available. The restaurant in the hotel is a great place to eat if you don't want to go too far. Side Note: The doors to the rooms were hard to close thus causing a loud thud to be heard every time an occupant entered or left the room. They most likely needed to be lubricated.

We had to exchange rooms due to mildew smell. No ventaliation. Noisy neighbors. Limited comfort for what I was expecting. Small room, limited amenaties. Would not recommend.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone as it is too far away from anything, not worth the price I paid, and wasn't happy with my experience there...you can find a lot more at better hotels that charge a lot less...

We were very satisfied that we were able to book adjacent rooms with connecting doors. Made our stay with the kids more comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the kids enjoyed the variety of foods. The rooms were super clean and comfortable with modern furniture and tv's. Bathrooms were lovely but the tubs drained slow. That was the only drawback. Nice fitness room and heated pool. After an exhausting day touring SD, this hotel hit the spot. : )

We booked this hotel on short notice for the President's Day, and the hotel was not close to full. So, I was surprised to get a room right across from the vending machine & the janitor's closet, facing the freeway (BTW, I'm a Hilton Honors member.) Noise, noise, noise. Next complaint: it was billed as a non-smoking hotel, but the elevator landing by the underground parking garage trapped the stale smell of cigarette smoke. :-(

I was set up in the 3rd floor, the room look like nice, clean but very out dated from the pictures I saw on hotels.com... I arrived with a backpack instead of luggage (big mistake) I guess as the team took me for some kid and felt treated as such. 1am and I could not get sleep after clomplaining of a pipe or slug hammer sound coming from the walls. I had tried to get some sleep to enjoy a day at Sea World the next day and possibly enjoy a night out.... Needles to say my sleep was not peaceful or pleasant. But a nice man brought me ear plugs for that I am thankful, I am just sorry I forgot his name to give him credit :)

Last minute reservations made thru hotels.com gave us a better rate than calling the hotel direct. We get there, fast check in, excellent service. Later the hotel staff who overheard what we were celebrating sends birthday cookies, milk and ice cream thru room service! How can any hotel do better than that? Will definitely recommend staying here, and we will be back!

I would definitely come back again !! Much better than Double Tree a few blocks down the road.
