Amari Coral Beach Phuket - كاتو

Nice hotel just up the hill from the main strip. Close to everything, but a bit quieter. Seemed to be a slightly older, more reserved clientele. Beautiful views of bay. Small beach but near outlet of local river, so probably not terribly clean. Pool smallish. Breakfast buffet with wide variety of foods.

Our son used The Jetty for his wedding and it was the most magical setting. We could not fault the attention to detail by the staff, especially by Phil, the Executive Chef. The resort itself is far enough away from the busy-ness of Patong to be quiet and private yet close enough to be an easy walk. Our room was in the older part of the resort but we thought the best location as no passing foot traffic of other guests and also very close to the 'small' pool and the restaurants. We will definitely return to the Amari.

Rooms where cleaned every day, nice view but the air con was very loud in room 4202, sounded like a hungry bear, had to stroll through mud to get to the jeti as building work is being done on and around the hotel. Breakfast was nice

Great hotel with phenomenal customer service. Used the conceirge quite a bit. They were great. The front desk staff was teriffic. They took care of our bags for an entire day and let us use their pool and facilities while we waited for our midnight flight. They let us into a room to shower and get ready for our flight after using the pool all day. They included breakfast at no additional charge. Had the thai buffet one night. It was fantastic and affordable. A bit of a walk to Patong Beach but we did it a few times. But short taxi ride for only 200 baht. Def. recommend this hotel. Very nice.

The pool is amazing!! Love that it was secluded. Great to escape the trashiness of patong beach.

Very nice hotel at the price range， close to the patong beach entertainment center. Services are excellent however room is too tiny for a resort type hotel. Bath room is too too small. Small pool size. Obviously hotel requireds major renovation.

enjoyed our stay but should have got an ocean front view and didnt..also beach was not accessible and spa is way overpriced for what it is (their main spa is closed as the hotel is under renovation)The Pool, views and breakfast buffet were awesome. also the room was nice and bed was super comfy

The hotel is situated at the end of Patong Beach, hence its quiet and nice. However, being located on top of a slope, it is slightly inaccessible for families with younger children. Tuk tuk transfer out from the hotel to the centre of Patong which is just 1.5km (approx 3 minutes ride) is 200 Baht, making it pretty costly. The room that we were given has a great view, in fact, the sea is just at our 'balcony' steps. Checking in and out was fast and fuss free.

We didn't want to leave Phuket. The location on a hill overlooking the bay is beautiful and quiet but yet a quick ride into town. Room was very clean. Free internet in the lobby was nice. Breakfast was good. Convenient tour desk in the lobby to book tours. And the spa was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised, the location is perfect. Close enough to walk to everything in Patong but far enough away to be out of all the hussle and bustle. The food at the hotel is sensational although a little expensive by Thai standards. I was still prepared to pay the money because it was consistently of a high standard. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we were impressed and treated extremely well. The location was perfect as we were able to escape Patong when we wanted and also it was only a short walk down to the main beach of Patong. The pools and jetty were a great spot to relax with food and drink readily available. The food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all exceptional. We were sick one day and had to alter our plans, the staff brought us a basket of flowers and free DVDs, a great touch. Thoroughly recommend staying at Amari Coral Beach Resort.

Great position at the south end of the Patong main beach road, with excellent sea and beach views. A 5 min. walk downtown, and a TukTuk was always available if we didn't feel like walking. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Pool, restaurants and all public facilities very good.

Nice hotel, best quality is the location close to Patong (but not IN Patong). Bathroom needed renovation - it was too small for a hotel of this standard and needed descaling. Internet access is not included in the rooms, and cost around 65 USD for 5 days - too expensive for our taste. And weirdly, the password can only be used by one laptop at a time - so if you have more be ready to pay 65 USD per laptop. For a 4 star hotel we would expect included internet.

My wife and I stayed here in September. I can highly recommend this to anybody that wants to visit Patong,Phuket. Quiet location at one end of Patong beach-short walk into town and beach. Great hotel, wonderfull friendly staff, great food,wonderfull views from swimming pools. Our room was right on the beach front and it sounded like the waves were crashing into our room. Service very efficient. You won't do better in Patong. It was a pleasure using Hotels.com and I can recommend them to anybody. Johan(South Africa)

We went there with group of 6 people 3 rooms. the service is really good. They are very kind in answering our question regarding the beach activities we would like to do. They also have Scuba diving store that we can sign up and went on one day scuba diving trip. The only dissapointment I would say is that the rooms is facing the ocean view but half of it was block by the roof of the other room. They are also doing some sort of renovation at the breackfast serving area beucase we the breakfast area is acutally has acess directly to the coral beach but then it was block by the green net around so we can not go there.

The view from the private balcony was wonderful. This beautiful resort hotel has two pools, its own beach and jetty and is just out of town so in a quiet location. Need to walk up a fairly steep hill to get back to the hotel but nice to be removed from the crowds. Breakfasts were outstanding!

Positives: Short walk to neighboring beach town, filled with seedy dive bars, over-zealous massage options, and tattoo parlors. The hotel lobby is gorgeous, and it has two lovely pool options and a private beach. The complementary breakfast (don't purchase a breakfast plan, they upgrade everyone to free breakfast) was one of the most impressive free meals I've had. Very pleased. The room was very small, and the deck was almost unusable in the evenings because of bugs. They should enclose the patios. The price was good for the actual accommodations. Negatives: The beach in town is filled with locals trying to sell various water sport experiences and sex services. In several of the night spots, literally every girl in the bar offered "partying" for money, and on the way to the bar, we received many offers for illegal drugs. It contained an unsavory crowd, better for partying than for a family vacation. The hotel staff spoke very poor english, and when we tried to upgrade to get a larger room or to get two rooms, they did not understand. We requested double beds, and were provided with two single mattresses on one wooden platform. It was very uncomfortable, but would have worked for a couple. Traveling with other male friends, I would have liked more space or separate beds, or even enough space for a roll-away, which there was not. There are a lot of stairs and inclines without elevator access, so if you are disabled or have difficulty navigating stairs, this is not the right spot for you. Lastly, the employees tried to force us to take very over priced taxis driven by their friends. They offered a cab to the airport for 1300 Baht, but our cab from the airport costed only 500 Baht, and we negotiated down to 800 Baht (approximately $26 USD). A cab to town should cost no more than 150-200, but it's a short walk with nice views and the chance to stop at some bars alone the way.

It was a pleasure to stay in this property , enjoyed the beaches and the ambience of the Spa and the bar . It was a complete relaxation to mind and soul . And also not far away from the streets of Patong Beach . At sunset good to hear the chirping birds and sounds of cricket and the gentle waves right from the balcony of your room Great fun

Even though the hotel claim all rooms are sea-view, do take note that you want a full sea-view when making reservation as our superior room only had a partial view as we were obstructed by the roof top of the block in front of us. Hotel guests are cosmopolitan with a good mixture of middle-easterners, indians, caucasians, etc. Most of the guests are families with children, so if quietness and serenity are what you are looking for, then amari may not be the place for you. Hotel breakfast serve a good spread with a variety of western, thai, indian and chinese providing good value. Location is up on the hill at the extreme southern end of patong beach and a good 10 minutes walk or so towards the hustling and bustling part of patong. Massage is pretty good but pricey. All massages are outdoor in open huts offering a fantastic sea-view with lots of surrounding greenery, but unfortunately bring with it a squadron of mozzies. All in, a good hotel for families doing some bonding and quality time but certainly not for the honeymooners and romantics.

We stayed in the deluxe room which faced the beach. It was a pleasure to sleep at night with the sounds of the waves. The balconies are very private so you could be in your own world. The rooms are very spacious although the bathrooms are very small for a luxury hotel. We also had consistent trouble with the toilet flush. But as soon as we called housekeeping for any problems they were there within a few minutes. We also found it strange that the TVs were not flat screens but rather the old ones and were far away from the bed for viewing – not that we came to watch TV. We were very happy with the location in that it was close enough to Patong to walk, while not being in the middle of all the noise. The resort is very inclusive and you do not have to leave it to holiday. The staff are wonderful and tried to accommodate all our needs. The spa is very pricey but even if you do not have a massage there, you must go take a look at the location and the spa rooms. The effect is unbelievable but the massage not so great. We took a driver for 4 hours to see the main sights in Phuket – the Big Buddha, temples, an elephant ride and the scenic spots. Don't use the tour guide desk at the hotel – it was literally double the price of any booths down the street. We used a gut called Wit at the "Nice" booth. We also took the boat ride to Phi Phi and stayed there overnight. If you want to do this make sure that you book the right boat as not many give that option. On the way they stopped at two other islands for snorkeling, well worth it. The hotel put up a stage next to the pool area for Christmas shows. The construction was particularly noisy over one whole day and also blocked the entrance from the grassy areas to parts of the pool. After complaining, the manager of the hotel offered us a free meal at the very exclusive La Gritta restaurant on site. Breakfast had a vast array of foods, although we found that Thailand is not big on salads or cheeses. There was nightly entertainment

06-10-2010 10-10-2010 Very nice hotel. Pool is good. The breakfast is very good with a lot of option specially for a Muslim . Breakfast area is very calming and nice in front of beach and next to pool. Very easy to go to batong. You can even go walking. They had delayed our check-in for a round 1.3 hours but they had offered us a complement cocktail. The beach is very bad and not possible to swim and not sure why they are not doing anything regarding that. Be ready for a lot of walking within the hotel as you have to walk and use stairs to go to lobby, breakfast area. There is one relaxing place at the end of the hotel that extending into the sea. You need to go for quite long walk next to the beach and within forest to reach. Very nice place. There are a lot of bugs and not sure if they can do something about it. I recommend this hotel especially with people want to have night activities “very near to batong busy streets”.

Hotel staff were rude and charge us 70$ usd for an extra bed upon check-in. They gave us the furthest room in the resort and there are a lot of stairs in the resort. Do not go there if you don't like stairs. Rooms was not great. Was expecting much more considering the reviews on trip advisor.

Great location. Very close to all the Patong action, yet just far enough away for a spa-like retreat. A short 5-10 minute walk into town, or very quick tuk-tuk ride. Facilities are superb. Two nice pools, decent restaurants, excellent waterfront rooms (some are right on the water!) While all the staff seemed very friendly, my only complaint is that the lobby employees lacked customer service skills. They were somewhat indirect in their communications, and I always felt like they were not quite on my side. For instance, the concierge is basically a third-party tour operator only promoting a few specific tours. They are not good at explaining all of the independent options. Likewise, the bellhop/transportation desk dealt solely with taxis stationed outside the hotel and ready to upcharge you (hint: walk down the hill and catch a taxi/tuk-tuk). Lastly, at check-out they made us wait while someone went to check on our room (minibar, I presume). This is clearly a sign of mistrust, unlike most other 4 or 5-star hotels, and worst of all, an inconvenience to their valuable guests.

one of the worst services we have ever come accross internationally. they are very rude and do not understand the meaning of the word polite. the services are pathetic.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold og kommer gjerne tilbake til Amari hotell. Servicen og de som jobbet på Amari var fantastiske. Frokostbufeen var helt enestående, tror jeg la på meg flere kg denne ferien. Hotellet bærer noe preg av slitasje på enkelte steder. De holdt på å bygge flere bolig enheter i nabolaget og dette var veldig skjemmende, men når de blir ferdig med dette blir det nok veldig bra.

価格の割には、良いホテルだった。とにかく海が目の前で、波の音を聞きながら過ごせるのが最高！！スタッフもほぼ皆さん笑顔で接して下さり、アットホームな感じで好感が持てました。唯一、立地がちょっと不便でした。タクシーは高くとられるし、ホテル側でのちょっとしした距離での送迎があると良かったです。

Отель Amari Coral Beach Phuket мне в целом понравился. Расположен удобно, рядом с Патонгом, но и одновременно с отдельной территорией и в стороне от шумных улиц, на склоне горы над морем. Вид из номеров отеля великолепный. Сам отель утопает в растительности. Маленький, но уютный. Отличный завтрак. Ресторан прям на берегу моря. Единственный серьезный минус- это плохой пляж. Он есть у отеля, но мелкий, с острыми камнями на дне. Во время отлива опасно плавать, да и вода из за близости патонга не очень чистая. Когда мы бронировали отель, мы об это знали. Просто мы планировали не сидеть на пляже, а путешествовать по отрову. Взяли на прокат машину и каждый день после завтрака уезжали на какой-нибудь из соседних пляжей или на экскурсию. Вечером в город или на массажи, а можно было и в отеле посидеть живую музыку послушать, коктель выпить. В целом понравилось.

真的不错，每个房间都面向大海而且是私人的沙滩，服务员都很热情。内部设施很不错，背山面海，床舒适。阳台上面有舒适的藤椅沙发~~~唯一不好的就是房间没有免费的WIFI。大堂有WIFI。

Très proche de Patong (10 mn a pied) mais sans en subir les inconvénients.Hôtel bien intégré dans un jardin a flanc de colline avec une plage. A faire absolument le dîner luxueux sur la Jetty et aller nourrir les poissons en bout de jetée un vrai aquarium. Plein de petites attentions du personnel tel que service préparation pour la nuit avec des fleurs, journal du jour,petites serviettes froides au bord des piscines quand il fait chaud...excellent petit déjeuner buffet et une vue incroyable sur la mer du lobby et du bar

非常漂亮的酒店，有独立海滩和2个游泳池，栈桥也十分漂亮

这个酒店挨着巴东海滩，交通比较方便，最重要的是它远离了喧嚣，白天如果不出去可以在酒店的酒吧和游泳度过，充分放松自己。如果去No.99, No.1和No.6吃饭，200B做Tuk车就够了（如果走着大概20-30分钟），还算比较方便。酒店的早餐超棒，我夫人算是比较挑剔的人，也认为很不错。但是正餐在酒店吃就有点偏贵，东西也比较少，毕竟是4星酒店。酒店设施有点老，但是很干净，服务人员也非常热情，我们离开的时候是早上5点，酒店特意给我们准备了早餐，装在盒子里，考虑很周到。总体来说，酒店还是不错的，如果下次来普吉，还住在这里。

Amari Coral是芭东海滩少有的独占一个山头，拥有一整片海湾的酒店。距离芭东中心的shopping mall大约10-15分钟步行距离，闹中取静。性价比高，十分推荐，会再入住。

飯店服務人員態度親切,環境非常優美,鬧中取靜.房間陽台面對大海和深入海中央的棧道(JETTY), 景觀好,JETTY下浮濳非常棒,魚群量及種類都很多, 我們在JETTY上看夕陽西下, 喝飲料, 用點心,悠遊自在. 此飯店是我在巴東的首選. 出入巴東非常便利, 外租來的機車停放也便利. 唯一的不便是沒有救生衣可借,浮濳要注意海流危險的問題. 且飯店階梯多,懶人會覺得不便.
