Tiara Park Atlantic Porto - بورتو

This hotel seems like it's trying to be a luxury hotel, but it's just not hitting the mark. The condition of the building is not up to the standards I would expect for this rating . The carpets are stained and dirty and the room I stayed in needs painting. They just don't seem to pay attention to the details here. The breakfast was adequate but the room it was served in was dated and depressing. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy as well. The bed was comfortable but I am glad I only spent one night at this hotel.

The Tiara Park Hotel is a great hotel, beautifully furnished, comfortable.....everything, except that it is off the beaten path. The metro is > 15 min walking distance. You really need to take a cab to get to the points of interest in Porto, which can be anywhere form 15 -45 minutes, depending on the traffic and the aggressiveness of the cab driver. Otherwise it is an exceptional hotel, indeed! Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel was very nice, within easy walking distance of several busy areas to visit. Rooms were big and very comfortable. Lots of good suggestions from the concierge. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is excellant for a reasonable price. It is 3 Km from the city center (5 Euro for a taxi). Its excellant restaurant is a good choice since there is no competition in this neighbourhood.

Nice hotel, great rooms, friendly staff. A little out of the old town but good bus service which stops right outside the door, supermarket just across the street.

This was a good hotel as it was clean and comfortable. You can take a bus to the central part of Porto. It is a direct bus and takes you to the area of Porto with all the sights. The hotel was a nice hotel. Parking was not free...14 euro per day. I think parking should be included, but it is not. Keep this in mind when booking. There are a few restaurants up the road, but not many. There is a grocery store just 2 minutes walking up the road on the other side.

The room is of good size, and the bed is really comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak good English. I was really impressed that I was allowed to check out 2 hours later than the usual time without any extra charge. The welcome drink upon check in is awesome as well. Would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to Porto.

The hotel is very well situated and there is a Post Office around the corner. The Sheraton is round the corner, but after speaking to people in the know, the Sheraton hasn't got the attention to detail as the Tiara Park Atlantic, Porto. The town of Matosinhos is great to go to; you have the best fish restaurants right on the Atlantic, with grilled fish of all descriptions and the flavours come shining through to open your taste buds to new and exciting experiences. People are so friendly. Take a bus tour and you can see so much of Porto; three tours on one ticket valid for 24hrs. It was my birthday there and the staff were so nice they gave me a cake at my table and tiramasu in my room with a bottle of champers, compliments of the hotel management. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.. There is a barbers just round the corner and supermarket across the road to get provisions. I was even able to book a shuttle from the airport to the hotel at a price of €25. Was so nice being picked up in a BMW by a man from the airport holding your name tag! Ordered one back so no issues getting to and from the airport, which took around 20 mins to half hour. Drivers are good and polite. All in all, an enjoyable stay. Good for business and pleasure; enjoy.

Even 'tho this hotel was in the business district and a little out of the way...the staff was very helpful with giving us suggestions on where to go and how to get there by bus or metro.

Excellent hotel. Perfect room int every detail. Very comfortable. Internet as complementary service (not cheap). Free internet in lobby. Staff very polite and professional. Excellent location for business trip (good access to old city as well as to business areas and industrial parks). Located in a very good neighborhood. Excellent for the price. I would stay again.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. The conceirge were very helpful and we enjoyed stumbling across the in house disco! The only bad comments on the hotel were the uncomfortable pillows, a long way to walk to town and there was no free wifi. Otherwise we really enjoyed it. it was tastefully decorated, staff friendly and helpful with great amenities.

The hotel was easy to find. We parked our car for 12 Euros a night and took the metro to get around. The station Casa Musica is about 10 walking minutes away. Metro passes allow you to hop on and off all public transportation, including public elevators. We were welcomed with a glass of port, and generally we were well looked after. The room is big and has a very pleasing modern decor. We fully enjoyed our stay and would book it again. There are several places to eat in the neighbourhood, including a very modern McDonald's.

comfortable and quiet. right by the wonderful porto concert hall by rem koolhaas --dont miss the hall or the hotel.

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. However, I would give it a 4 or 4.25 star rating. We also stayed at the Sheraton which is only a few steps away, and had a conference at the Porto Palacio Congress Hotel & Spa which is across the street. Both of these hotels are much more luxurious than the Tiara Park Atlantic, which is why I would not rate the Tiara at 5 stars. The location is not in the heart of Centro (old town) nor near the river or ocean; but the subway, taxis and busses can get you to the tourists attractions in short time and little money. For those of you on a budget this is a good choice since there is an upscale grocery store/cafe just across the street where you can purchase just about anything you may want or need. I agree with others about feeling nickeled and dimed. For us it felt like they offered a good rate to get people to book...and would then try to make it up by tagging you for little things you would normally expect when staying at highly rated hotels. The rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable. Again, it's a nice hotel. Just not 5 stars. If you are not careful you will end up with a 5-star bill at the end of your stay. If you can afford the extra $40-$50 per night, the other two hotels are much better and offer more.

I checked into Tiara Park late after arriving off my flight. I was greeted with a very nice welcome from the lady who checked me in and also a nice glass of Port. i was also upgraded at no extra charge to a suite so for 66 pounds it became quite a deal. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay or if one is staying in the center of Porto. The only downside there is no pool in the hotel. I would definitely go back there

Deserve its 5 stars rating. Too bad internet access is additional, service should included at a hotel of this caliber. It feels cheap to nickel and dime on the internet access. Beware the parking is 1.80 Euro/hour. I chose to park myself on the street, in the surrounding neighborhood.

Really comfortable hotel, all hotel staff were very nice to us and always gave service with a smile. Would recommend to any couple wanting a break. Breakfast is amazing, includes champagne! (if you like).

This was my first trip to Porto and was a mix of pleasure and work. I stayed at the new Tiara Park Hotel in Boavista, Porto. Hotel is situated in a very upmarket area of town, near the financial district and is very close to bus/train routes. The area itself is very safe and you're walking distance to a few boutique shops and restaurants. I was driven to most places but found the hotel to be in a fairly good location. The facilities are absolutey outstanding, the level of service is great and all staff are professional, courteous and helpful. The rooms are superb, I had a very high floor with views over the city and ocean in the background. I would definately recommend this hotel to a business traveller in Porto.

Don't understand the Portuguese system of rating. This hotel of 3* was much better than the one of 4* I booked in Tavira through the same hotel.com. In Porto I would recommend this very confortable hotel to anyone, except it is a little far from the usual tourist itinerary in the city. The only "inconvenience" was that I was charged 1euro/hr for the parking in the hotel garage. This is not unheard of in Europe, but other hotels in Portugal (Alief e.g.) did not charge us for parking.

la habitación preciosa en decoración y comodidad, la calidad del servicio formidable, mi pareja y yo quisimos ir a cenar a un conocido restaurante sin reserva y ellos se encargaron de conseguirnos una mesa cuando ya era imposible. En cuanto a la localización aunque no esta en el centro no tuvimos ningun problema convinamos taxis y coche, En fin oporto es una ciudad preciosa para volver siempre.

Je recommande cet hôtel. Chambre de luxe très sympa. Super petits-déjeuners. Personnel très accueillant. Parle le français. Bon rapport qualité / prix. Métro Casa da Musica à 15 min à pied. Taxis et bus de la ville + bus touristique à côté de l'hôtel.

La habitación es muy buena,amplia, camas comodísimas. Buena relación calidad precio. Aceptan un niño gratis compartiendo cama. La única pega el desayuno un poco caro, por lo que no lo probamos. pero a escasos metros del hotel hay una cafertería muy buena con buena bollería, sandwichs... Permiten el check out tarde para la maratona.

Esta en la zona mas residencial de Oporto.Te permite acceder a la playa de Matosinhos son con bajar por la avenida y acceder al centro de Oporto de manera comoda y facil.Siempre con coche. la shabitaciones estan limpias y el servicio es bueno.Viajamos con un cachorro de Golden retriever de 8 meses y tambien le gusto.La unica pega ql suplemento de 25 euros noche por llevar perro.La lenceria de baño y cam ade primera calidad.

Hotel muito agradavel. Muito bem situado numa zona muito agradável, com quartos confortáveis e pessoal atencioso.

chambre superbe, confortable , très bien insonorisée. très bon rapport qualité prix. la reception del hotel a un look tres" internationnal", la deco des chambres est beaucoup plus agréable. We were upgraded because the service staff failed to respond to my questions prior to my arrival. At check in, the manager on duty said that we also get free internet access and breadfast. While we couldn't get access to internet and called, he said internet access and breadfast were not included. We asked shall we bring a recorder next time, he said, maybe you should. Also, the first night, we were stocked in Frankford due to storm, the hotel refused to refund the cost since we booked the hotel on a lower and nonrefundable rate. But, it's the storm and the airport was closed.

Excelente hotel, verdadeiro cinco estrelas. Serviço muito profissional, mas amigavel. Champagne Munn no quarto para dois, como cortesia.
