Renaissance Brussels Hotel - بروكسل

While the rooms were comfortable, well-fitted and the breakfast spread quite elaborate we believe the hotel probably caters better to business clientele needs rather than those of family. We were traveling with children and had requested adjacent rooms but ended up a few rooms apart. Further the second room was not ready on time and we were asked to wait indefinitely in the lobby. The reception staff were indifferent, unhelpful and not particularly knowledgeable. Overall, fell short of expectations.

It was perfect hotel, everything was like a new. The location was close to Grand Place, about twenty minutes of walk. Breakfast was very fancy. I had nice Illy cappuccino, a baguette with prosciutto and many other tasty goodies. The bed and a pillow was just perfect.

The hotel is very nice in relation to its price. Really close to everything and even though you can take the metro it is very nice to take a stroll by Palais Royal to Grand Place. However, some days the cleaning was a little bit sloppy and even though I complained on a light that did not work it did not get fixed during our stay. Overall, go there and be sure to include the breakfast buffe. I promise you it will be worth it.

Very nice hotel with excellent service from friendly staff. The only nitpick is the internet access is very very expensive 20 euro a day.

We hadn't planned to stay in Brussels, so the hotel was a last minute decision. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast was really good (included in the price). The walk to the city wasn't long. Seemed to be in a poorer district though, the buildings surrounding the hotel were very run down. However, the train station was across the road, which was very convenient for us.

Stayed there my last two nights in Brussels. Really nice hotel. Very comfortable lobby/lounge/bar area. Room was excellent. Having stayed in most EU capitals, this hotel certainly deserve a praise.

My stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels was short (1 night) but sweet. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff went out of their way to be helpful (especially concierges Ben and Chris), my room was large and comfortable with a great bathroom. While it's not close to the Grand Place, it's only a short bus or taxi ride away, and just a few blocks from the EU headquarters. Right around the corner was a cute coffee shop that served wonderful bagel sandwiches. All in all, a great experience!

We stayed for a long weekend at this hotel in December and cannot recommend it highly enough. The room was large, decorated and furnished to a very high standard, everything worked including the air con, everything was very clean. Staff were freindly and very helpful, they even waived our parking charge for the first night (the other nights were free anyway) on departure. The breakfast was very good and included a range of different options, and the service was excellent. The area the hotel is in is very good, a 5 min walk from the nearest Metro station so very accessible to the rest of Brussells. If I ever go to Brussells again I will definately stay here.

Great weekend rate. Staff were very pleasant and eager to help. Only a fifteen walk to the Grand Place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, EXTREMELY helpful staff. Very easy to get to from the airport, only 3 Euros per person. Take the #12 bus from the airport towards city center (or Luxembourg). Disembark at Luxembourg, and turn around. The hotel is on the corner of Parnasse and Luxembourg. I will definitely stay here again.

Although I can not fault the service (staff were excellent) or the room in this hotel (clean, comfy and beautiful). I picked the hotel as it boasted a pool and health club. During out stay the jacuzzi and sauna's were out of service. The pool was dirty and had green gunk on the ceiling dripping into the pool. This was a real let down as the rest of the hotel was immaculate. Hopefully this will be refurbished to the same standard as the rest of the hotel soon.

it was all like it has to be. the only thing that was not as i espected was the wireless internet in the lobby for wich you have to pay.

This hotel is close to downtown, the rooms were very clean and the bed was extermly comfertable. The people at the front desk were wonderful. It is very close to pubs and resteraunts. A little hard to find with a car but parking was included in the hotel. We loved this hotel.

Excellent hotel, location and facilities, only is they should adapt or rethink their internet fees, which in most of the hotels world wide is free. 24 hours use is 25% of the rate of the room. I did not come to Brussels to do internet in my room 24 hrs, bussinesstravelers use their on severs. Still internet is such a good tool whe traveling. around the corner is 1 euro/ hour.

My Girlfriend and I were very happy with the hotel. The Lady at reception could not have been more helpful and the room was beautiful, very clean and modern and the hotel is only 5 min walk from the metro. Excellent hotel!

Renaissance Brussels Hotel - a little way from the tourist centre but right along side the European Parliment buildings so you can see where your taxes/country contribution is spent.. The walk to the centre takes about 20 minutes but a number 95 or 27 bus will also drop you there - get the bus on the Luxenburg square (same side as the square). Lots of eating places around the hotel + the hotels own restuarant. Breakfast at 20 euro was expensive but if you can eat lots and this covers you for lunch then it is probably good value.

Hotel was in great condition with plenty of multilingual staff ready to assist. Staff was very professional with a great attitude. Bar and restaurant right off of lobby makes for quick drinks and meals. The breakfast buffet had many options full of healthy and decadent choices. Located a very short distance from METRO easy to walk with bags from European Parliment stop.20 minutes from airport. 20 minute walk to Grand Place. Surrounding area a bit worn down but safety never an issue. Upscale shopping a few block away. Eager to please staff with a great attitude. Rooms large by European standards. New work out equipment and pool & jacuzzi. Would stay again.

Comfortable and accommodating an ideal hotel for anyone visiting the EEC headquarters and only a 15 minute stroll to the city centre.

For the price we paid for off season/off parliament travel, it was great. It was about a 30min walk to the center of town from there, but the walk sends you right through a nice park and the king's palace. Only draw back was that the hotel's pool area was under construction so all of those amenities weren't available.

On arrival, the hotel foyer was cordoned off due to repair works. This did not provide me with a relaxing welcome. At first sight of the room it looked fairly clean. However; my son went to bed and discovered what I can only describe as human vomit type stains on the duvet cover and the bed sheet below looked as if it had been slept in previously as it was full of human hairs. This was disgusting. The hotel did then send somebody to change it. The next morning, my son looked under the bed and discovered a tennis ball sized ball of fluff, a 'Hula Hoop' crisp snack and a piece of fruit. (an orange!) I had to tidy under the bed for the hotel. This is disgraceful. I then used the leisure facilities. What a joke! The builders were chipping away with hammers and elecrical equipment on entry to the pool. This was quite dangerous as I had no footwear on and ended up with feet full of dust and chippings of tile on my feet. I was also concerned about me having a wet body and the fact that there were power tool left plugged in on the floor where I was walking. All in all, this hotel stay was poor and spoilt my visit to Belgium

The hotel itself was very aesthetically appealing, comfortable and maybe even luxurious. The pool however was smaller than it appeared in the photos and was a bit of a building site while we were there as they appeared to be doing maintenance. I requested a king bed but got allocated a queen bed. On the morning of departure, a bill was slipped under our door which was completely wrong. They charged us different rates and even whacked on a breakfast bill of 50€, even though we had never eaten anything in the hotel. All in all, poor unfriendly service and staff but a nice hotel room and hotel location.

hotel service was poor: couldn't open my door without banging it. Asked for help, promise but no show. My reading lamp bulb was dead, same. Worst: sex hotels on opposite with strange, worrisome appearances.

Very convenient to European Parliament, but a bit of a hike to downtown -- great for walkers but non-walkers would have to figure out the frequent buses. One block to major bus pickup area and restaurants. Had powdered coffee in room -- would rather have been able to brew it. Cost $4 Euros for mediocre cuppa at the bar. Expensive Internet, but not unusual in Europe. Overall, excellent and would choose this hotel again next time.

I stayed in a clean, light and spacious room with a bed so incredibly comfortable, it's a wonder I saw any of Brussels at all! The service was friendly and efficient and the hotel itself is is an ideal location; but a stone throw from the center but also close enough to some delights which are just a little further out.

Le personnel de la réception n'est pas très agréable. Très peu d'entre-eux parlent le français! Le service du restaurant n'est pas professionnel et pas bon rapport qualité prix. Les chambres sont très belles et très propres. Le personnel qui s'occupe des séminaires sont tant qu'à eux très serviables et très compétents.

Hotel très bon rapport qualité prix ....quartier calme même voir trop car le soir il n'y a rien pour manger ou boire un verre....le personnel était très sympathiques et toujours à l'ecoute de nos besoins....dernière remarque j'ai trouve très regrettable que nous n'avons pas été prévenu que la piscine était fermée ainsi que le jacuzzi qui n'existe plus(alors que l'hôtel l'affichait sur son site..,,

Mauvaise impression dans l'ensemble. Il aura fallu attendre plus d'une heure, debout devant le restaurant, pour enfin prendre le petit déjeuner. Le ploblème est connu, mais rien n'est fait, et ça ne semble pas déranger le personnel. Et en prime ce jour-là, 20 minutes de panne électrique pendant le repas. Pas un mot d'excuse. De plus, la piscine était en entretien tout le week-end. Évitez cet hôtel.

Très satisfait de la réactivité et de l'attitude positive du Manager, suite à un problème technique (Piscine). Hotel proche du Parlement européen à recommander aussi pour son calme le week end.

L'hotel était un peu loin du centre. Nous avons demandé des peignoirs à l'accueil et nous sommes sorti en ville, à notre retour nous avons dû rappeler l'accueil pour les avoirs... Petits dej très complet, extra!
