It was nice to basically have your own studio apt. for a hotel room(including a fireplace).

The room was wonderful. Clean, spacious and the staff was very easy to work with. The continental breakfast was very good.

Convenient and quiet. A bit of a problem with hornets(?), but not too bad. Room smelled of smoke (no smoking room). We asked for and were given an air freshener that was pretty effective. King size bed mattress should be updated. It was worn around the edges-poor support. It was okay towards the center of the bed. Cleaning was mediocre. May try to stay again next year. Price was very acceptable. Breakfast was quite good.

If you're willing to trade "brand new and shiny" for a lot of extra space to spread out, then Arbor Suites at the Mall is a good alternative at a good price. The property has some minor maintenance issues ( general cleaning and painting that need to be done ). But it definitely beats a standard hotel room when it comes to the amount of room you have. The "penthouse" has a loft with king size bed and bath upstairs, with a murphy bed and sofa bed, bath, and full kitchen downstairs. My only real complaint is that the housekeepers often showed up at 8:00 AM when we wanted to sleep late, and then would never show up later when we asked them to. Overall, not a bad experience. I would probably come back here, especially if I had to be in Springfield for an extended period.

When we walked in and saw the room was better than a time share we stayed in prior, we were excited. If the weather is nice next year, I am planning on having a group of people stay here to use the grills and the picnic area.

Wish there was maids on weekend. Room nice but wall are thin heard ever noise.

My family (Three children and Wife) and I stayed two nights. We were there to see the Bass Pro Shop. Arbor Suites is only about 6 blocks from Bass Pro and easily accessible from US. 60. The neighborhood was mostly businesses and very quite. The room was very clean and well maintained. The outside of the buildings (just the stairs) showed alot of wear and the railing was not well maintained. Other than that it was a good stay and we will return to this condo again. Also Arbor Suites was cheaper than any hotel room(s) that I could find that would have room for my family.

The one thing I noticed when going there its location is hard to find even with the signs that are up. Also it advertises barbecue pits and what they have are two rusted up gas grills from Wal-Mart. When we got into our room the decor is very outdated. None of the furniture matched either which does not help it out. The couch reminded me of something my parents had back in the 70's.

We have stayed here before and find the room comfortable, we like the kitchen and fireplace in the seating area, and the hotel is close to everything we use.Also, the wifi is better than many hotel/motels we have stayed in: fast and easy to log on. It is not "high class" but we like the more relaxed atmosphere, central location, and space of the suites here.

The room smelled terrible. I stayed for two days and they didn't come and clean the room the second day or leave fresh towels and toiletries as advertised. The location is good but the rate I paid was way too high for the condition of the room and utter neglect by the cleaning staff, assuming they have one.

Only draw back is breakfast selection and need to provide a better comforter or bedspread on beds.

I like this hotel, it is off the main road, most people don't even know it is there. Very quiet. I would stay again.

This hotel offers a convenient location and a good price for their rooms. Very spacious and the kitchen is a huge plus with a full size refrigerator.

Nice Motel but if you want to use the fireplace in the room either bring your own or they charge you $5.00 a bundle.

In the middle of everything, but quiet. Could use a little updating but has everything to make a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Great location. With Motels.com we got a king studio for less than a 4 star motel room in Springfield. Close to where we wanted to go. Great hot breakfast. Friendly staff checked us in. This is now my home away from home when in Springfield, MO. Bob & Barbara G.

Arbor Suites at the Mall is nestled behind the Galleria just across from the Battlefield Mall and near all the Battlefield retail shopping. Its spacious rooms have comfortable accommodations including a full kitchen and a full-size shower-bath combo. Service was excellent, and I'd recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This hotel is showing signs of age and could use some touch up. The room was clean and comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch also the bed was comfortable. It is located in a busy part of town but was quiet at night. I enjoyed my stay there and will stay there again. I have recommended this hotel to friends.

The location is great as the hotel is very close to the mall and to shopping and restaurants and the price was excellent. The room was simple but comfortable and it is nice to have a refrigerator. I would def stay there again.

The room was clean, confortable and enjoyed the fireplace! The price was very affordable for a suite! The staff was friendly and considerate! The breakfast was good! The only thing, if you wanted to cook in the kitchen, only plates, cups, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster was in the room. If you wanted to cook in the oven, nothing for that! But, overall, my stay was great! Would recommend this to anyone and will stay there again on my next visit!

The air conditioner woke us up about every 30 minutes or so. Every time it came on....then when it turned off. Horrible night sleep becasue of it. Mattress needs to be replaced. We will not be staying here again. We spend a lot of time in Springfield with our child in sports at MSU.

We stayed in a penthouse room. There were 3 of us and it felt like we each had our own room (King loft, pull-out couch living room, twin bed salon). The penthouse had a nice design, where each of us had our own closet. It was also nice to have two bathrooms. The penthouse room also had complimentary wireless Internet. Regarding the neighborhood, it seems safe, but this part of town is a parking lot farm -- not our preferred surroundings. Note: It is important to specify a non-smoking room if that is what you want. Overall, we plan to stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The staff was very nice and the condition of the hotel was good as well. It is in a fantastic location for accessability to everything you could want to do!

We loved this hotel! It was like we had our own little apartment! We will be staying here everytime we go to Springfield!

We stayed here for two nights...the room was pretty clean you was able to walk around in white socks with out them getting dirty...there was five of us two adults and three kids...lots of room for everyone to haver there own space...we have a three year old it did make us a little nervous about him around the steps in the room ( there are alot) but he did fine with them...would recomend to friends and family plan on staying here again.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The bathroom and outside pool could have been a little cleaner. I loved the basketball court and that the hotel had laundry facilities(washer and dryer). Close to food areas, mall. Nice quiet area.

Quiet, comfortable,secure,convenient location to Mall and Hospitals.

If you're staying for extended period of time this hotel is a good bargain as it has a kitchen with a stove and is conveniently located close to everything. I wouldn't recommend it for short term stays however as its an older hotel with limited room service and not in the greatest condition.

We came in for a funeral so we only stayed one night but the staff, room, and location were great. My only complait would be the leaves in the pool and all over the steps. But we will definitely be back to this location in the future.

This was the main reason we stayed at this hotel. The kitchen does not come equipped and I was glad to have brought some spare pots and pans. The "free" breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was oatmeal and cold cereal packets, minimal fruit selections and old looking bread selections. We were surprised to find that there is no maid service on the weekends and the breakfast ends an hour earlier than usual. We were not told this on check in and had to go in search of clean towels. On the plus side it was great to have a full size frig, the location was very very quiet and the bed was comfortable.

...the air conditioner in our Penthouse room didn't work very well. It was 80 degrees in the room when we checked in at 5:30. We set the thermostat as low as it would go and 4 hours later it had dropped a total of 3 degrees. Went to the front desk and mentioned this to the woman working. She offered to let us look at another Penthouse room that was in the same building and gave us a key. She said the management requires the housekeeping to turn the thermostats up high when cleaning and also mentioned that most of the central units are old and in need of freon. The second room was better and she offered us a fan to put on the loft wall to help draw some cool air up from the lower floor. The room was decent. Our first room had two beds on the main floor arranged like a sectional. The second room had a Murphy bed that was queen sized. The room had enough room for the four of us (two adults and two children, 8 and 4) to move around as well as our Husky puppy. The grounds and courtyard were OK, but it was very apparent that some maintenance and updating was needed. The pool was clean, however and my wife and children enjoyed swimming. I was too busy moving everything from one room to the other. If you are looking for a decent room with some walking space that has a good location to area attractions, restaurants and shopping, then this would be a good choice. The continental breakfast was good and easily found.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Springfield area. I stayed in a studio king suite, which had a king-size bed, a loveseat sofa sleeper, and a small kitchen area. I felt it was well worth the rate I paid. My only complaint is that the key cards to my room would constantly stop working. I was told to try and keep them away from anything metallic. I did so, and it halfway solved the problem. A more permanent solution to this problem, and I would have NOTHING bad to say about this place.

Close to MSU to visit my Freshman! Furnished kitchen great to make her a home cooked meal too! Clean accommodations, friendly staff, and economical. Close to restaurants and shopping. Love Arbor Suites, will be back!

Very nice and friendly people, very clean room, and a very good neighborhood, i would stay there again anytime.

Great rate, great staff, all-inclusive rooms, very clean, easy access to all surrounding areas, great location, will stay here every time we need a place to stay in Springfield.
