Baymont Inn & Suites - Southfield/ Detroit - ساوثفيلد

I stayed at this hotel for a little getaway with my boyfriend. The front desk staff was very friendly. The pool however was ice cold. The hot tub was huge and relaxing. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean and pleasant. We had a big flat screen tv but it didn't have that many channels. The breakfast was very disappointing. I would stay here again however.

Staff was friendly and helpful. First time at con. breakfast milk was spoiled and so were waffles. Didn't try it again. Ceiling in room leaked after a rain, was offered a new room but the leak wasn't in an area that mattered to me so I declined. Overall not bad. Was Quiet and comfortable.

Location was strange because there was no street sign to indicate where to turn. Also no good signage, hotel couldn't be spotted from main street. But over all, the service was great, friendly staff, room was super clean and smelled fresh. Vending maching is $2 for each item, thought that was pricy but I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was barely acceptable.Bathroom door hinges screeched like tortured cats. Cleaning staff never replenished coffee packets.Milk at breakfast bar spoiled,food was stale/old.Hotel was quiet and beds comfortable.

The hotel was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was nice. The price was great and we will definitely stay there again.

My stay at Baymont was satisfying. This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and a reasonable rate. The only issue is that the Hotel is hard to find, taking an extra 15 minutes of circling around. Now that I know where it is, I am likely to stay there again.

Some of the Housekeeping did not speak English making it hard to express my room needs. The Bathtubs were not thoroughly clean, I found left over dirt in one tub and when my room was change, I found a nice amount of hairs in the tub. When towels were needed to shower the housekeepers tried yo give us wash cloths instead. The swimming pool was beyond frezzing level and the jacuzzi did eventually turn to cold water. I was there 3 nights and the we had bacon one time for the Continentel breakfast. Overall the stay was very disappointing The only good thing was the location. This Hotel gave me exactly what i paid for cheap service.

My stay was not pleasant it was a bug n my room room was dirty bathroom was dirty no meat 4 breakfast vending machines r to high i have still yet 2 receive my deposit back

The room that I stayed in had a phone that did not work. The blow dryer only worked for seconds at a time. There was no toilet tissue in the room. The hot tub had so much chlorine in it my children smelt like bleach for two days. Then the day of check out the maid walked in the room at 9am trying to clean and people were telling my family that check out was at 11am.

Dump, never seen a room this bad

When we arrived at this hotel it looked abandon. It was dark and really hard to find, we called the front desk to get directions and the clerk was rude and not helpful. On a good note the room we had was at least clean, but the hallway smelled of smoke. All in all on a scale from 1-5 I give this hotel a 2.

It was a nice overnight stay, however when I booked and paid for my room it was for double occupancy and when I got to the hotel they had change my reservation to a King size stated that the hotel was almost filled to capacity. Thank goodness I was there with my 11 year old and not another adult.

It was a bit noisey between guest running up and down the hallway and the staff talking very loudly while working (cleaning). It was clean, but a little out dated. The staff was not friendly nor efficient. It was an alright stay but I don't believe i'll be back for another stay.

Did not get any rest due to kids running up an down the hallways late at night.. called front desk to complain but nothing was done. It was a total waste of money but u get what u pay for.

LOCATION,CLOSE TO FREEWAY. CLEAN ROOMS, GOOD BREAKFAST

stay was diappointing room wasnt clean elevator was out and no clean towels or rags and the breakfast leaves a lot to desire..........

The hotel had great service the rooms are decent also the pool and jacuzzi is very nice... I enjoyed my stay

It was a really good stay. I will be going back soon. The bed was awesome. I didn't want to do much but rest because the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast bar would have been better if they had some form of breakfast meat but is was nice.

Great stay. Very cozy. Will be back at least twice a month :)

The hallway at check in smelled like marijuana. Although I was in the non-smoking wing. We never got enough towels. The continental breakfast the coffee was warm. Since we stayed multiple nights our room was not cleaned until after 3:00 PM. Great location to the city.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, large with comfy beds. Breakfast and wifi were included in the price which was great. Hotel needs upgrading otherwise good value!

Hampton Inns dropped this location for a reason.

My stay was ok I was dissappointed in house keeping didnt leave towels and things

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay for the week there.The staff were polite and professional, the management was even helpful, our room was quite clean, and pretty quiet, with the exception of when I moved the bed, on the floor of the headboard was a dirty tampon. The continental breakfast wasn't the worst with the options given.There was an indoor pool/jacuzzi, and fitness room available which my wife found enjoyable. It looks like there are undergoing some slight remodeling, but nothing extensive to interrupt your stay. You had the occasional 1or 2 rambunctious guest there, but that was to be expected near the weekend. We wouldn't mind staying again if we had to.

My stay was awful, no towels the whole trip. There was many families upset with this Baymont. Ive stayed at Baymont hotels before and did have any problems. They need to step everything up from customer service to clean rooms and have enough resoures for your guests.

As it transitions to its new owners and expect the normal inconvenience of rebranding. Doors had tape with room number in it. Condition was a little dirty as they remodel. Some things say Hampton, some say Baymont. Service was good. Just a confused atmosphere during the change over.

Number one: I hope the hotel is under renovation. Number two: I hope they finish soon. My only complaint.

Matress was dirty.

It was really nice, but some of the workers were not so nice.

The customer service was horrible and if you called for help you would never get it. We requested towels and a trash can on five different occasions. I asked to pick them up from the front desk but that wasn't can option. The doors were labeled and number with duct tape. The rooms didn't have trash cans. It was the hotel stay that I ever had. I didn't feel safe leaving my belongings in the room. It was an unorganized, chaotic mess during check-in, the representation had no idea what she was doing. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Overall it was a great stay excellent service three people that work there are very nice and courteous any thing you need they will get you and there very fast its so much better then Hawthorn suites don't not go there lol unless you like cheap tacky rooms I give them a 9 out of 10 rating for the price and service and location , cleanliness

Overall, it was a place to stay for the night. Would i rerturn, probably not. Looks like they were doing some work at some point in the room as there was plaster left all over the chair in the room. In addition there was not one trash basket in the room. I felt funny leaving the trash sitting on the table and wasn't going to be there long enough to call and ask for one. The way i figure it, if the maid doing her job she knows there isnt a basket in the room!

This was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced!

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and conveniently located with a view of the pool. The continental breakfast was plentiful with plenty of dining space. Copper Canyon Brewery located next door had good food and our order was ready in 15 minutes.

Hotel was good and staff was awesome. But pool and hot tub shutdown early sunday morning and was not open for hours. By that time we were checked out and on our way home.

Great room, very comfy bed. Delicious breakfast with big variety. First good hotel coffee I've had in years.
