Novotel Brussels off Grand'Place - بروكسل

The location was terrific, just one block from the Central Train station and two blocks from the Grand Place. The room was clean and had a hot pot to make water for tea/coffee. My son and I stayed there for only one night but it was better than we expected. The only down side was that I booked on Hotels.com and my confirmation said I was "paid in full." However, upon arriving at the hotel they said I owed another 7.17 Euros. I questioned this and showed them the e-mail confirmation from Hotels.com but they said I had not paid the "city tax." I had to pay it and plan to ask Hotels.com about this. I assume they are being honest but this did not happen at the other two hotels I booked online. But overall, I would stay there again.

Novotel Brussels off Grand 'Place was a great place to stay whilst visiting Brussles recently. It was centrally located and very close to many attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. Security was good as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is excellent with a great location. It looks, however, cheaper than it really is: the breakfasts are 23 euros per person, which is expensive, but are free for children. Overall, nonetheless, the hotel is a very good deal.

Everything was nice but the smell in the 3rd floor hallway. Location is unbeatable.

Close to everything really good central area. Central midi area witch i almost booked is a getto not for normal people from europe. So i was so glad after i arrived at midi train station that i did not have to live there, I think this hotel is well maintaind, good stuff, nice gym , no breaskfast included (bad)

Perfect location.. But I was disappointed by the hotel. I would not rate the hotel 4 star at all. The reception area was very nice but the room are very badly designed we stayed in room 318 which had a separate bath and toilet in a different room. The shower/bath room was 2 steps away from the bed which was not very nice. The skirting in the room had dirt on it which ws visable from a distance and there was gum sticked on the wall in the room next to the bath. The heating in the room could not be controlled we had to continuously keep the temp at 28 degrees to keep the room warm and if we reduced it to 26 it would be freezing in the room having a 2 year old with us. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Very well organised business hotel, rooms very big and well equipped.

This hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Grand Place and a five minute walk from Centraal Station. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very helpful. There are even a few computers in the lobby available for guests (perfect for travelers who need to check flights, etc.). The hotel is safe (even need a hotel key to use the elevator) and I would definitely stay here again. There is a 7.15 euro fee tacked onto the bill though (some sort of local city tax) that was annoying. I had thought that would have been included in the Hotels.com fee, but it definitely wasn't. Across from the hotel is a great waffle spot as well as a fry shop. The area around it is very touristy, so there are lots of souvenir shops and cheap food options nearby.

The hotel is quite conveniently located with respect to official business and sites of extreme cultural interest. It is also reasonably priced on a Monday, and increasingly dear as the week progresses. The room I had was clean, but the drain in the shower was dysfunctional. Quite oddly, there is no sink in the toilet room. A room on the quiet side of the building overlooks the area to which morning deliveries are made, sometimes at hours of the morning that one would think violate law, and certainly contravene good sense. It is a puzzle that the hotel does not demand its deliveries at hours that do not awaken guests. The other side of the buliding, however, faces a more steady-state din. There is a nice view of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza with their backs to traffic.

The Brussels Novotel is very close to all the tourist sights that you'll want to see, and It was a short cab ride from the main train station. The room was pretty large by European standards and quite comfortable. The only minor complaint I have is that the shower head was too large for the small shower, and no matter how hard I tried, I flooded the bathroom floor every time I took a shower. I would definitely recommend the Novotel for tourists visiting the wonderful city of Brussels.

We only stayed one night, but I think this is a good pick for Brussels. Close to train station and main square. Mini bar in the room, so you can keep things cold if you want. Free internet access in the lobby. Very clear in the booking, that this room would fit our family (2 adults and one 6 year old). I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights mid-week. No problems to report. The hotel is very convenient for the Central station and for the Grand Place. It was quiet and comfortable. TV included BBC. I did not buy food or drinks - breakfast is way too expensive.

Good service, good location, good facility. Guest : please be reminded to USE TRAIN to Central station on your arrival at Brussel midi. The tourist information at Brussel midi has given us wrong info and directed us to use Metro, which made our journey to the hotel miserable for its Cobbled road and smelly & unsafe metro station.

Clean and updated but our room smelled of smoke when we had requested non smoking. Parking our car was about 15 Euros a night as well. Otherwise very nice staff and location.

Fantastic hotel for the price! Nice, clean, and right in the center of town...close to sightseeing and to the central train station. I was very, very impressed with the room I got for the price. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and might not even check anywhere else if a similar deal was available.

Loved the hotel and its charm! It has good news and bad news depending on what you prefer. Good news is that it is very close to everything, easy to walk to - right in the middle of the market - bad news is that it is close to everything and can be very loud with your windows open! Loved it and recommend it even with the noise!

The Novotel Hotel off the Grand Place in Brussels is a great place to stay if you want to be right in the action and get the mood of Brussels. However, if you are a light sleeper and a quiet night is what you are looking for, this isn't the place for you. I give it the very best marks on all the attributes of the hotel but would be sure and let people know it is noisy at night. I would definitely stay there again.

good hotel, location excellent being within walking distance of the train station (which had direct line to airport) and also great position for the markets and sightseeing buffet style breakfast good with plenty of variety to suit everyone

Well placed and, with breakfast included, good value. Only criticism is that the tea/coffee in the room used paper cups and powdered creamer which felt rather cheap and nasty.

The design of having the toilet in a separate non-adjoining room not near a sink was sub-optimal. Having to exit the toilet room to walk past the bed into the bath room to wash your hands is just not great design. But in reality, that design flaw didn't really negatively affect our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the heat worked. The hotel was very good. The staff in the breakfast room was not terribly friendly, but since it was a buffet it really didn't matter once you figured out you need to get your own coffee. I'll be very willing to stay here again.

The room was your typical European room, a little small but definitely a nice quality. No tremendous views, overlooked the city square. But my room was directly over the taxi stand, so it was noisy 24/7. Being at the city centre/Grand Place Square, there's no getting away from the noise. Just be aware of this. Overall, the hotel was above average.

The hotel is located very centrally and within easy walking distance of most of the main attractions. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was great. Clean rooms, great location, good breakfast buffet. I would definitely say to check to see if the buffet is included in your stay. We had two different reservations in the same week and the buffet was included in one of the reservations, but not the other.

We went to Brussles during one of the busiest weekends of the year. Even though the hotel was near capacity, we never felt like the hotel was crowded. Service was quick and efficient always. The only exception was the waiter serving the tables on the sidewalk outside who acted like he was doing us a favor. Overall, a good weekend.

Super Customer Service

Very well situated hotel right in the heart of Brussells within a very short walk of the Grand Place. Although the hotel doesn't have it's own parking there is an underground car park nearby. Clean, spacious rooms and attentive staff - would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk. Good rooms. Good breakfast, but not enough staff to serve customers. The lobby needs more efficient ventilation as the odor from the restaurant area fills the lobby.

This was a perfect hotel for a family vacation in Brussels. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. It is close to major sights. (And a very short walk to the train station.) It accommodates children very well and provides excellent value for the money. The chips shop across the street is fantastic! We will stay there again.

Das Hotel war super. Saubere und ordentliche Zimmer. nettes Personal. Nur das Frühstück ist zu teuer. Aber direkt gegenüber des Hotels gibt es diverse tolle Möglichkeiten zum Frühstücken. Die Lage des Hotels ist absolut super. Man kann alle Sehnswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr kinderfreundlich und das Abendbrot war super.

Superbe situation à 2mn à pied de la Grand Place, bonnes prestations générales pour un 3 étoiles (mais il en affiche 4 !), l'hôtel présente cependant l'inconvénient d'être particulièrement bruyant au 1er étage donnant sur la place. Nous avions besoin de repos et avons été bien déçus : jusqu'à 2h du matin (week-end) bruyants fêtards sous les fenêtres et passages incessants de voitures, réveil en fanfare à 7h15 au son des éboueurs qui s'apostrophent d'un bout à l'autre de la place en plus du son continu du diesel du camion, puis quelques instants plus tard, quand le sommeil revient, arrivée de l'engin ronronnant destiné à nettoyer la même place. N'oublions pas que les "demandes spécifiques ne peuvent toutes être satisfaites", mais lorsque je réserve une chambre pour 2 nuits en précisant que nous avons "énormément besoin de repos", et qu'on nous attribue une chambre au 1er étage sur rue, on pourrait au moins avoir la délicatesse de penser à ne pas nous installer dans celle située pile en face de l'ascenseur et dont la porte touche la cireuse à chaussures collective. L'hôtel n'étant pas complet, on aurait pu espérer mieux de ce faux 4 étoiles. Des détails de moindre importance dénotent encore avec cette classification comme par exemple les rideaux prétendument occultants (ils le sont en effet, sauf sur quelques centimètres en bas qui laissent éclater le beau soleil dont nous avons profité), la porte de la salle de bains (ouverte, elle touche un côté du lit dont l'occupant ne peut donc sortir sans mettre le pied dans la baignoire), la tache blanchâtre sur un des trois coussins du fauteuil (origine ???), le papier toilette aussi rugueux que le crépis mural, l'eau de la douche tiède malgré les manipulations du pommeau (celle de la baignoire en revanche est très chaude mais les projections d'eau ont noyé le sol),... bref ! L'ensemble n'est pas très cohérent ni conforme aux attentes, le personnel reste agréable et à notre disposition, le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux,

Etmeget sentralt hotell med 4 stjerner. God frokost som dere må betale for på forhånd - ellers dyr - og god service. Meget sentralt beliggende og enkel å nå. Godt fornøyd.
