Swissotel Merchant Court - سنغافورة

Swissotel Merchant is very conveniently located right on Clarke Quay and MRT is a short walk away.Marina Bay Sands & Raffles Place are within walking distance along the river.Very nice hotel with pool,gym,cafe and giftshop and friendly staff.Only improvement would be free wifi with standard rooms.

The hotel is next to Clark Quay, a happening place all week, all night. But INTERNET is not free, which it should be in 2012. To most travellers it is as natural as electricity and lights. And the hotel has no fun stuff to offer; no games, not pool table or table tennis or games. Typically business clientel here...

Great location - MRT next door - Great River views , Went out most mornings for Breakfast (as not included in room rate).

The hotel was clean & comfortable. It is in a fantastic location right on Clarke Quay & an easy 10min walk to Chinatown. It is also an easy walk to Raffels or the MRT station is right outside the hotel. After arriving in Singapore off a flight we were checked into the room at 8.30am! This was fantastic. Overall no complaints at all.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The hotel was very nice. It was a pity that wi-fi was rather expensive. One could walk out the front door into the interesting and varied Clarke Quay area. Taxis were frequent and inexpensive.

this hotel is a perfect location for visit of Singapore MRT station is close to the hotel

Excellent location for staying near Clarke quay, with MRT station only meters away. Hotel room was excellent, being large and very clean. Breakfast is expensive but is not necessary with many cheap options nearby. Wifi is also expensive. Will stay again

Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 day stay in this lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help with any problems or information needed. The spa and pool facilities were excellent. We opted for buffet breakfast adn thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the food and service. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained and is situated beside Clarke Quay with ifs associated restuarants and shopping malls. It was a pity our stay was so short as it would have been nice to enjoy the luxury of this hotel for another few days

We had booked Swissotel for our Honeymoon. The service was really good and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located next to the MRT Clarke Quay station. We were given a room with balcony facing the river. The view was beautiful. A lightly sore point is that the rooms have started ageing slightly but that visible only if you have a very close look. Otherwise the decor is really nice. I would suggest the hotel to my friends.

Relies upon its location. Far too expensive for what it is and very, very tired rooms.

First of all hotel is well located. MTR station next door to access all Singapore. China town within walking distance (10min) and restaurants & night life (Clarke Quay) basicly when stepping out of the hotel doors. Night life there night disturb some but we didn't find it disturbing evin thought our room was facing bridge to Clarke Quay. Our room was nice and clean with small balcany. Staff was very helpful and pool large enough for relaxing swimming and resting in the sun. Would recommed this hotel for anonyymi visiting Singapore.

Close to Clarke Quay and a Metro Rapid Transit Station. Well kept up and good service. Room was very nice. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights. It is a fairly ok hotel, but the rooms need refurbishing, especially the bathrooms. The pool area is nice, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. Service is friendly.

always stay here when in Singapore. -good location-enjoy river setting, would definitely recommend.

overall = good hotel service quite good but when i ask for ONE more blanket for my kid, they said not enough.....i was surprised!

The Reception staff was not very courteous, when they found that I had a pre-paid booking through hotels.com They were not ready to provide me better view rooms on a higher floor, although they were not full. No FREE WIFI, which is surprising in this Cyber world and when Singapore Airport offers FREE WIFI. Not a very friendly and welcoming place.

We stayed at the hotel in Dec 2011. Excellent location right next to the MRT and Singapore river (Clark Quay). Many restaurants along the banks of the Singapore river. It doesn't feel as if you are staying in a city. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and can highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing good about this hotel is location! The rest is a mediocre hotel which boasts the Swiss hospitality to no evidence. As start, the AC in our room was not functioning well, and the repair took over an hour in the middle of the night! They did offer to change the room, but my mother was asleep and to move our stuff in the middle of the night would be a hustle. The SPA does not employe enough people. We were staying for 3 days and no single occassion any therapist was available. We ordered the kimono which did not come to our room until I complaint several times. Then, the kimono purchase was not included in our hotel bill. We were nice enough to remind them. One of the waitress was rude enough not to let us use the connecting door to reach Clark Quay, thanks God there were other nice waitresses who showed us the shortest way to get out. In summary, with the amount of money we paid, it was not worth staying.

The glory days for this hotel has passed. It did not live up to my expectations of a swissotel especially when it comes to maintenance and cleaning, but maybe my expecttions were too high. Location is great however.

Close to evening party areas as well as Chinatown and little india, with great service and facilities.

The location of hotel is good. Within 3mins walk to the nearest station and in front of Clarke Quay. The room is clean and the bathroom is comfort. The only annoying product is the room card. Quite often is doesn't work. You need to try and try patiently. Overall it is still a great hotel with a reasonable price. Recommended.

The website said it was close to clarke quay, but our room overlooked the whole quay, awesome location. and it is a short walk to china for cheap tucker as well!

hotel is in Clark quay area with all the restaurants and bars great location you can walk to china town just down the road does charge for WiFi is well situated for this part of town

HOTEL - check in is at 3pm and you cannot check in unless a room is available (we had to beg and the best we got was a 1pm check in). Great location, directly on Clarke Quay, next to MRT station. STAFF - not so friendly ROOM - stayed in a classic room, good size, clean and modern. Overall, i probably would not stay at this hotel again. Would look at Park Regis which is just opposite. If your a shopaholic then stay at a hotel around Orchard Road.

The hotel was comfy but room in 4th floor had no view of the city but the wall of opposite building. Not worth of money spent. Pool was nice, as well as the breakfast.

I found the hotel quite expensive, but the room was a good size, comfy bed and large bathroom - also clean. What was excellent was the location as it was just next to the train station and also just over the road from all the bars and restaurants. We got the train from the airport which was cheap, then used this to get around the city. Everything was a short train ride away form the hotel so was perfect for the 2 days we were in Singapore. We didnt really use the hotel facilities nad chose to eat breakfast out so I cant comment on that, but whilst checking in/out, staff were very polite and helpful.

Situated in the heart of Clarke Quay it is within easy walking distance to many and varied restaurants and shopping. Less then $9.00 taxi ride to Little India, Orchard Rd, Singapore Flyer, Chinatown, Marina Bay. Room had a balcony and was very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and nothing was a problem for them. As usual food was very expensive in the hotel but it was still a great place to stay because of the location.

We finished our cruise in Singapore. Only $40 SD from the cruise terminal for four of us by taxi. Close to Chinatown and located next to Clarke Quay on the Singapore river. Vibrant eating and walking area after dark. The Hotel was excellent. Service outstanding. Loved it.

My hubby and I stayed there for the first time. I must say it's a rustic hotel but elegant. The location is really very ideal for couples our age and with grown kids. It's accessible to all types of transportation. I love the view of Clarke Quay and the river. The staff are really nice and accommodating. I couldn't say it's perfect coz we only got to stay in it's deluxe room. Normally, we get room in the executive floor but the place was fully book. Nevertheless, we will stay again this time with our grown up kids in tow when we go back to Singapore

Grand, luxurious with style and comfort; staff were overwhelmingly helpful and eager to please. Facilities were second to none, with the availabilty of a gymnasium, pool spa & sauna.

This place is nice - have stayed here twice now. Location is great, pool is fab. We need two rooms and would prefer interconnecting BUT every time we request such a thing - they can never guarantee. This is the same for all Singapore hotels as we have stayed at others and had to split up. It is annoying - they really need to get their act together on this.

Great Location. Walk to water and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to Chinatown.A little slow to check in. Clean rooms.Staff were friendly and supplied info when asked. However they didnt volunteer anything.
