Sorrento Hotel - سياتل

Very nice Hotel with old world charm. Has great, historical architecture and very nice rooms. A tiny bit musty though. Very good rates and a handy shuttle service around the many hilly streets.

I stayed there the night before an early appointment since I was coming from out of town. The customer service was impeccable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and warm. I highly recommend this hotel. Room service was fast- albeit expensive- and delicious. Parking is expensive downtown Seattle, but their rates are less than the rates at other hotels. I used the courtesy car to get to and from my appointment and I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the driver. In fact, I will be staying there again very soon.

Convenient to downtown and train station. Attentive and sweet staff. Loved my beautiful, comfy bed and bath!! Comfortable, inviting common areas, lots of warm old woodwork, charming old fashioned architecture and decor.

All was very good, but the valet parking is nearly $40 a day - a little rich. Park across the street in a pay lot.

We arrived early evening. After getting settled we went down to listen to a little jazz and then into The Hunt Club. The dinner was just right for out pocket book and mood. The architecture of the hotel captured a time gone by. To top it off they had The Temptress silent movie playing in the bar. For being so well established in the neighborhood our 6th floor room was quiet and we only heard one door close about the time ours did. Pleasant and refreshing for us.

Comfy bed! Great food, but poor service in the restaurant. Bartender was excellent. No fan or window in bathroom. No hot water, only warm : ( Beautiful old building and walking distance to downtown.

We only live 25 miles away in rural Snohomish but wanted to have a city weekend. The suite we were in was luxurious, clean and quiet. The musical entertainment was superb. We enjoyed walking to the market, spending a day at SAM's Gaughin exhibit, and a fabulous dinner at La Fontana. We plan to make this at least an annual event.

I enjoyed this hotel. I read the reviews,a nd saw the comment about one elevator, but I did not experience delays. The people were all very friendly and helpful, including housekeeping, doormen, reception and restaurant staff. This hotel also has a nice workout facility.

Old world charm, comfort, amenities. Hunt Club dinner was superb.

The Front Desk Staff especially the lady was very friendly, and helpful. All staff was very polite, and helpful. Excellent Hotel. Great Location.

Classic old world style hotel. Marble bathroom was a bit cold, no separate heat for the bathroom. Staff was great. Shuttle service was very helpful

When I was stay in this hotel in Seattle, very terrible is shower, first, no hot water, called to front desk , they answered , it needs let the water run 5 minutes , because of old pipe,ok, I did, then hot water came out, but just a few moment , it turned cold, then turned very hot again , anyway , I showered under very difficult situation, well, hotel not bad, but must improve this.

The staff at the Sorrento was fabulous. They were all very accommodating and made us feel like "special guests". Of course the Sorrento architecture is wonderful and the fireplace room is very cozy. Thanks for a great experience!

This hotel is one of our favorites and we love the restaurant. It's small, quaint,and out of another era.

Generally we were satisfied with the hotel but not the food it was marginal, great presantation but marginal taste. The staff was excellent!

Leisurely relaxation and comfort on those great pillows. Coffee was very good. Please provide an ice bucket so we might obtain our own ice. Glasses provided are too small! Might want to leave a toilet plunger in each room. Need some clarity about charging for parking in Hunt room when we are already paying for overnight accommodations. Broader range of menu options would have been nice!

Gorgeous old hotel. Did I mention old? One elevator for the whole building. Tiny rooms. Tiny bathrooms. But it's historic and in a neat location. Just be sure this is what you want. Great food.

From the moment we stepped into the Sorrento, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was excellent and we were upgraded for small fee (in comparison to what the room cost). The room was excellent, the bathroom was marble from floor to ceiling and had a light, clean chlorine smell. The bed was very comfortable, and the flat screen televisions have an ample viewing selection. We went down to the fire room and had tea. The tea service is a bit pricy but comes with various delicious snacks. There was a holiday pianist playing, adding to an already great ambiance. We had dinner at the Hunt club. We were staying for our 1 year anniversary and the staff gave us a complimentary glass of champagne as well as excellent service. The food was very good, a bit over-seasoned, but otherwise great. It was fairly priced. I will certantly return to the Sorrento, it definetly delivered!

Festively decorated for the holidays! Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Loved. Highly recommend. Parking is pricey; 39 a night. can park down the street across from the Seattle Archdiocese for 17 a night

A classic hotel with efficient team members. Service in both the hotel and the Hunt Club is excellent.

We only got to stay at the Sorrento for one night, but it was by far one of the best Hotel experiences I have had. The bed was so soft and fluffy, as were the towels and sheets... The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful for a morning walk. It was great! I'd stay there again!!

This is a lovely hotel with early 20th Century roots and decor - dark wooden paneling and deep upholstered furniture. It's close to Swedish Hospital/Virginia Mason Medical Center and not far from the center of Seattle. The rooms are large and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the restaurant had good reviews, I thought my roasted half-chicken dinner did not rate better than an average review.

Wonderful Hotel. Really enjoyed the stay. When in SEATTLE, I always stay at the Sorrento Hotel.

Me and my boyfriend chose to stay here and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. the staff was very friendly, and the room was amazing! the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms although a bit small were clean and looked great! i couldn't ask for anything more.

The Sorrento is certainly clean, the service is very good, and all of the basic amenities are provided. But the true charm of this place comes by way of its age. At 102 years, with most of the architecture in its original condition, this is a great place for those that appreciate history. There were two minor drawbacks: 1) The Sorrento, although within walking distance of most Seattle attractions, is not for those out of shape -- the climb to the top of First Hill is strenuous. 2) The Sorrento is right next to the local hospital's emergency room, with blaring sirens not uncommon.

The staff was very nice; however, sometimes a little difficult to catch in order to ask a question. Overall, it was okay, though.

This hotel location was not as i expected. It is not in downtown. I got to the hotel at noon and had to wait more than an hour to get my room while I noticed they were giving rooms to other customers. Once i complained then i got my room. Although they claim to be in downtown, but it is not and I was not offered their complementary shuttle to downtown either. I have stayed in other four star hotels in downtown much much better than Sorrento Hotel.

The hotel is filled with 1920s or 30s touches, but presented and maintained in an update manner. The hotel is also very convenient to I-5 and the Convention Center area.

Somewhat pricey but very nice hotel. Very kind and helpful staff. Section of town is not particularly nice but location is convenient to all sites. Parking overnight at hotel is ridiculously expensive. There is available parking on the street, just be careful about the signs and the meters.

My husband and I needed a quick but relaxing getaway while visiting Seattle, and the Sorrento Hotel was perfect. We enjoyed a spacious suite with views of the Sound, located in a lovely neighborhood. The staff was very friendly; I would certainly return!

Lovely old hotel with stunning woodward features. Excellent service from front desk, concierge and housekeeping. Enjoyed the complimentary town car service for downtown Seattle. A definite retrun hotel.

The concierge staff was great... Hat tip to John S and Zach. They told us about good bars to go to. Our room was upgraded... it was very nice. The hotel held a block party that was real fun. We had a great time. Austin TX.

My husband and I took our young children to Seattle for a few days to explore the city for a potential career move. Our stay in the Sorrento was the ideal backdrop to a whirlwind trip. The staff was incredibly hospitable; the food was good; the hotel room beautiful and quiet; and we were able to walk into downtown (the library, the Market, etc. etc.) easily. We will most certainly stay there again. And if we do move to Seattle, we will put our guests in the Sorrento as well, as a treat for them. (Note: the hotel is quiet and elegant, so we do not recommend this for every family. Our children enjoy beautiful places, and behaved accordingly.)

We found this hotel to be absolutely fantastic! It exceeded all of our expectatons. The room was beautiful and very clean, although it was not large. The hotel had a lot of charm and character, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to Pike's market, although the walk back does include several long and hilly blocks. However, the hotel also has a free courtesy car service and guests can arrange to be picked up or dropped off with a certain radius of the hotel.

Stunning suite and very high quality staff.

They say it is within walking distance of must see sights which it is, if you are in very good shape! I enjoyed the walk to downtown(20ish min), but the walk back is straight uphill. I'm a marathon runner so enjoyed it, my 16 yr old daughter, not so much. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, quite a few homeless you have to pass during the walk downtown and I wouldn't recommend doing it at night. The staff at the hotel was fabulous though!
