The bathroom was so small that you could sit on the toillet and wash your hands at the same time. There was no room in the restroom! For a 4 star hotel this was horrible. I will never stay here again.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the Midtown area. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly. They have a porch on Peachtree that is great for having some drinks and people watching. The ONLY drawback is that the bathrooms are tiny. The shower is large, however, there is almost zero space between the toilet and the sink. You cannot bend down or turn around in the bathroom without hitting your head, elbow, or both. If a big bathroom is important to you, this is not the hotel for you.

My husband and I usually stay at the Georgian Terrace when we visit Atlanta (right next door to Hotel Indigo and a little bit cheaper for standard room). But after staying at the Hotel Indigo in Nashville and LOVING it, we thought we would give the Atlanta one a try. Big mistake! The hotel is pet-friendly, and the lobby consistently smelled like wet dog. The service was underwhelming. And the room (standard queen) was miniscule! There was hardly room to walk around the bed; my husband and I kept bumping into eachother. But really the most ridiculous part was the bathroom. It was no larger than a closet. To stand in front of the sink you had to bend your knees in order to not be pressed up against the toilet directly behind you. Staying here was a big disappointment. It's not as bad as a motel or something, but if you are looking for a hotel in the midtown area, go with the Georgian Terrace - it's slightly cheaper and much nicer.

the beds are comfy, the bathroom is small (but who cares). it's decorated fun and reminds me of someone's bedroom. the room I stayed in was all blue/ocean theme. it reminded me of a college girls bedroom. super cute! the hotel has a great restaurant. for the 2 nights I stayed there I order the spinach steak salad, amazing!! I'm thinking about going back there just to order that. the front desk is pleasant and helpful. they always have waters and butterscotch candies. Parking is $20 a night, which isn't great, but about average for the area. overall, great experience!

It was a good experience. I loved it because they accomodate dogs which is very important to me. The lobby looked fabulous with it's cool decor and furnishings. We walked across the street to the Fabulous Fox and dining. The walkability factor was great.

This hotel was a Days Inn years ago, and whilst renovated extensively, this hotel seems to be a classic case of putting lipstick on a pig. Room was tiny. The kingsize bed took up about 80% of the floor space, though the ceilings were impressively tall. No blackout shades if you are looking to sleep in. Bathroom was ridiculous in its tiny scale and layout. I could use the sink while sitting on the toilet, which was an old fashioned round bowl, not elongated - possibly due to space issues. Seriously, the bathroom was about 5 ft x 5 ft square. No tub, just a shower pan, and terrible water pressure with very low grade fixtures. And only two threadbare fullsize towels in my room. On the positive side, the hotel is located very conveniently next to the Fox Theatre and shares parking with the Georgian Terrace hotel. Employees were very friendly and helpful. There are many channels on the TV if you are into that kind of thing with some in HD. I chose to stay here due to location, but I won't consider staying here again based on the low quality of the room vs. the price and the poor bathroom layout.

Lovely little place with great staff. Very clean, and great bar. Love the style. I gave the condition/maintenance a 4 instead of 5 because the window unit that controls hot and cold air flow (from the digital thermostat) was loud. Every time it came on during the night I woke up. Also, I like that the hotel is pet friendly, because I'm a pet lover. But it was annoying that a small dog barked off and on until nearly midnight. But I suppose that's what I get for staying at a pet-friendly hotel. And I'm glad it didn't bark all night.

This hotel was in a great location in downtown Atlanta, and the staff-- all very friendly and attentitive. However, this hotel allows dogs to stay in rooms, and whoever allowed that clearly has no insight as to how to seperate those patrons who do not have/want pets from those that do and are staying in the room directly below you. We were woken up in the middle of the night and early morning(5am) from a howling dog in another room, whose owners were obviously not present. If you don't want a full nights sleep because of someone elses dog... then this is your place... oh and you pay the same rate to get woken up as well. I will never stay in this hotel again unless the "Pets Allowed" is eliminated.

Nice, clean rooms. SMALL bathroom. Easy access to MARTA if you need to go to GWCC or airport.

Can't really complain since we were so busy, very little time was spent in the room. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly bartenders. Only complaint was the bathroom. Smallest I've ever seen in a hotel.

We booked this hotel because of its location near the Fox Theater. It could not have been more perfect. The rooms are cute. You have to pay for parking but you would have to anyway if you were going to the Fox. At least it is in a garage and safe. Our view was good. Yes I agree with reviews that the bathrooms are small bit I was not there for that. The staff was friendly and accomidating. Definately a smart choice if going to the theater and do not want to deal with the traffic after the show. We left and walked across the street and was in our room before most got to thier cars! It wa great!

The room was great. Nice and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. And the location is great for midtown restaurants, clubs and the Fox. The only drawback was the bathroom. It was TINY. I have had larger bathrooms on a cruise ship.

The Hotel location was great and directly across the street from the FOX Theater where we experienced the Nutcracker Ballet. The recently remodeled Hotel was nice. The room and bed were comfortable, but the restroom/bath was tiny! My wife and I are small framed and neither of us could turn around with the door closed!

The Hotel Indigo is a nice hotel and perfect if you're visiting Atlanta to see a show at the Fox Theater. The rooms are bright and decorated with fun colors. The bathroom was a bit small but OK for a few nights' stay. It wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in but it was great for a weekend getaway.

We love the Hotel Indigo! We have stayed there several times because it is such a great place- nicely furnished rooms, very clean with lots of special touches - AND it is right across the street from the Fox Theater! Convenient parking, too.

The Hotel Indigo was a perfect choice to stay. It was conveniently located between the Fox Theater and Baroanda. It was beautifully decorated and the staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. The bartender, Alex was very entertaining and polite!

We came with our two dogs and everyone was very nice. No weight or number of pets limit which is unusual for a better hotel. Only problem was that they authorized my card for the charge and so did Hotels.com. However, when I pointed it out, they immediately issued a credit (appeared on my card within the hour). Very nice people. Great location.

Kudos for updating the Indigo into a posh little boutique hotel. It's just across from The Fox and a short cab ride to the heart of downtown. The staff was excellent, too! My husband had stepped off a curb outside the GA Dome and injured himself. The night clerk on duty provided a first aid kit and offered to take him to the ER if needed. Thank goodness it wasn't that serious, but the attention was excellent. Thank you, Michael!! The beds were the most comfortable and the room decor was quaint and funky! Love the use of color. The step up into the tiny bathroom was a bit of a trick at night, but we understood the need because of the reno. The foyer console table and well-lit mirror made a perfect secondary makeup station. It "made up" (pun intended!) for the small, one-person-only bathroom! Good touch. We will definitely stay at this property again. p.s. It's also a pet friendly hotel! Perfect for those of us who don't like to kennel our pets! Thanks Indigo!!

The hotel was very convenient to the Fox, which is why we were there. The hotel was in the middle of renovation so the lobby was one theme and the rooms were another. I think the Broadway theme will be good. The only issue I had with the room was the bathroom. Upon moving the shower curtain I found all the old and dirty washcloths from the previous stay. They looked like they had been there a while and there was a smell.

Very nicely renovated, although the room (especially the bathroom) was a bit on the small side. I loved the location and made it very convenient to enjoy midtown ATL. Was a little disappointed in having to pay for parking, but would still stay here again.

The food is not worth it. The glazed chicken was so small and dry it was like eating jerky. The breakfast menu was bland. The eggs tasted like they had been microwaved and the sausage was dry like. We waited 40 minutes or so to recieve a plunger. The staff, overall, was nice and helpful but a couple of the workers needed to be a little more customer oriented. Having the attitude of "I don't know where they are, or someone is one there way (when you really don't know if they are or not), is not professional. The room was in a nice location, it's a little small and the bathroom was small too (no bath tub). I would stay again because of the location. The meals in the kitchen need a serious upgrade.

We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to the Fox Theater was great! This is the place to stay if you're taking a show at the Fox. Nice neighborhood with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Awesome hotel staff!

The lobby and bar of this hotel is nice as well as the decor of the rooms. However, the rooms were extremely small, the sink had no counter space (i had to put my toiletries on the back of the toilet), and you can tell they put together the hotel very quickly. There was paint on the bathroom tile and towel rack (which was hung crooked). Overall it was fine, nothing horrible but nothing great either.

shower design was barely usable , in my opinion only good for an overnight or 2 stay

The staff was really fun, friendly, and helpful. We walked into the lobby and immediately felt welcome. Being right across the street from the Fox Theater was really great. We saw a show at the Fox then just walked right across the street to the hotel. The decor is sleek and cheery. I love that they put real coffee mugs and drink glasses in the rooms, instead of plastic and Styrofoam. I can't wait to have a reason to stay there again.

Hotel Indigo is under some MAJOR renovation and I could not bear to recommend the property to anyone untel this renovation is complete. Honestly, it looks as if it was gutted. Ear plugs are provided in the room?????

The hotel main floor is under very significant construction, and this impedes check in, moving your luggage, dining in, spending any time in the lobby. The construction is very noisy, which would account for the frayed nerves of the otherwise pleasant desk staff. It seems the hotel is understaffed, and, let's be honest, if I was working a full shift with the noise and chaos of that commotion, I wouldn't be anywhere close to sane. The location was the best part- directly across from the Fox theater, but I would not stray beyond this block after dusk. The room was clean- and it is true what i read in another review- if one chose to , one could sit on the commode, wash one's face at the sink, and shave one's legs in the shower. The bathroom is about 3.5' x 4' . The room temp was fine, but at night, the a/c unit is very loud when it kicks on and off. Despite all this, the location makes it worthwhile for a theater night, and once the construction is complete, the lobby will be a nice place to relax.

for those attending events at the Fox Theatre this is perfect. very nice place and close to a bunch of stuff. the lobby is being remodeled currently. the rooms are small but certainly adequate. very nicely appointed. this is the only place we stay when in atlanta.

My daughter and I stayed for four nights in a room with two beds. The matresses were very comfortable and room was quiet. Bathrooms, the smallest that you will see. Even smaller than in Paris. The staff is so nice. Very friendly with directions and a map. The MARTA station is very close making it a great location. Many nearby restaurants. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Love the hotel, and I've stayed at many.

Very small bathroom. If you are a large person, it will be very uncomfortable. The bed was comfortable. Peachtree is a very noisy road and sirens, voices , motorcycles are a problem at night.

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo 2 nights while in Atlanta on business. The main restaurant was closed because it's under construction. That was a disappointment because I had work I needed to do after meetings and had hoped for room service. However, I had learned of a brewery/restaurant 3 blocks down the street and had a nice dinner there the second night. Breakfast in the small restaurant (?) was okay, but the server didn't bother to bring me a napking and silverware (I finally got up and got my own from a table by the door). I didn't find her particularly pleasant. On the other hand, the young man who checked me in and out and got a cab for me was WONDERFUL! He was helpful, welcoming and pleasant. Like other reviewers have said, the bathroom was QUITE small, but the soothing decor of the room and the comfortable bed made up for it. My room had a view of the old theater and other parts of the Atlanta skyline that was particularly lovely in the evening. All-in-all, it was a nice stay and I would return.

The hotel was trendy, soothing, pretty, in a great location and the hotel staff were exceptionally nice. Parking was a bit pricey at $20/day. My only complaint was that when I checked in in July, the A/C was not on in my room! It chilled down quickly, but a humid/hot room was not a welcoming room. Also, the bathrooms are uber small if you have a king size bed. I'm talking: you can simultaneously sit on the toilet, brush your teeth and spit in the sink, all while having a leg in the shower and shaving! Seriously, picture less room than a phone booth! There wasn't even a place to put your make-up bag...But the shower pressure and temp were great, the towels were nice and the shampoos/etc were great.

Parking was an extra $20.00 and there was no sugar or creamer in the room with the coffee. Our neighbor had a dog that kept barking and our room faced the parking garage. The bed was very comfortable but the AC was extremely load. At least it drowned out the dog next door.

Beautiful room. Exceptional bed. Maybe a little overpriced for what we got, ie: virturally no amenities and there was a fee for parking. The bathroom was quite cute, but the sink could be a little smaller. It seemed to overpower the small bathroom.

This hotel went beyond my expectations to make sure that I was provided for and comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend them to anyone staying in Atlanta.

I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE INDIGO ATLANTA BUT FAR AS THE PARKING RATE 20A DAY IS TOO MUCH I STAYED @ CENTINNIAL THEY HAVE WEEEKEND RATES OF 15 BUCKS FOR ENTIRE WEEKEND . AND TAKING 50 BUCKS A DAY TO SECURE DAMAMGES FOR ROOM JUST N CASE IS CRAZY MESSED MY WEEKEND UP CAUSE I HAD TO BUDGET MY ACTIVITIES OTHER THAN THAT ITS BEATIFUL PLACE

The hotel had a nice location, but was not well kept. The bathroom was dirty and the tile and grout very dirty. Refinish was sloppy, paint drips all over floor in bathroom, etc. Floor in rest of room was peeling wood grain laminate. Restaurant had limited menu choices and did not have many of items listed on menu. Room was small but that was not the main reason for disappointment. I think I will stay somewhere else next time.

I'd stayed here once before but this time had a really wonderful experience that I had to write about. The staff was amazing and able to help with every single question I had. I stayed here during my move to Atlanta, the night before my movers arrived with my stuff, and it was such a pleasure to have at least one thing go perfectly well for me during the move. Not only do they say they are pet friendly, they have extra food & water bowls and really treat you and your pet as valued guests. I'd highly recommend! Great location, great staff, super cute decor - A+!

Beware of booking Starwood Hotels with Hotels.Com. Even with a preferred membership you are treaty like a pariah when you don't book through their site. I booked a specific bed room/bed and was not given it without explanation. It was late (early in the morning actually) when I arrived so I did not complain rite away. When I asked about it in the morning the clerk looked up my account and just shrugged and gave me a half hearted sorry. Just as a heads up; this is not the first time this has happened to me in a Starwood property. Happy Travels!

The hotel room was very quaint and furnished in a cottage style. The room was spacious except for the bathroom. The shower was very large but the rest of the bathroom was small. The hotel was located near several restaurants and the cafe in the hotel had excellent food and was convenient. The staff was very friendly, called me by name and made me feel at home. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

First off, Hampton Inn Midtown was the same price and they offer free breakfast and free parking. I had to pay $20 for parking at Hotel Indigo and there wasn't even free coffee for their guests. Our room was tiny and the air conditioner sounded like a window unit from way back when. Pathetic service and staff. Will never stay at a Hotel Indigo again! For all that are looking for quality equal to price, Hampton is WAY WAY better!
