The beds were great. probably the most comfortable i've slept on. the staff was nice and all supplies were kept up. the rooms are clean and they have nice tvs. it's on university which is the strip that connects everything, the same as every other hotel. i didnt' like how low the shower head was and and the ceiling in the shower. doesn't work good for anybody taller than 5'. and the rooms don't have a refrigerator and microwave standard. i guess you have to pay extra for those. other that that it was a nice stay.

clean room, friendly service. Breakfast buffett was not very exciting, only hot food was waffles.

When I arrived the room that they had given me was a smoking room; when I reserved a non-smoking the room was changed to another smoking room and the smell was clear, when I asked for a non-smoking I was told that the single bed rooms where and the double was not so I was stuck in this room for the weekend

I was in town for a Baseball Tournament, when i walked into the hotel the front desk greeted me with a very warm welcome. The room was very cozy and up-to-date. I only spent very little time in the room due to me having to spend a whole day at the baseball field. When I went into the restroom to take a shower I did notice mildew on the shower curtain, I removed the towels that were on the shelf and there was a spider behind the towels on the shelf which looked like it haven't been cleaned in months, The breakfast area was very clean and as people started to arrive to get their breakfast, the front desk made sure that everything was stocked and the kept clean.

The room was fine, the only drawback was not having adjoining rooms. If I had called the hotel directly I could have gotten that but by using Hotels.com, i couldn't... wish i had known that upfront. They also should advertise the pool is closed til May.

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel, our stay was for tennis tournament in the area. The rooms are clean, towels & washclothes clean, updated rooms, beds are comfortable, very friendly staff. Hotel is within 10 minute of all tournament sites, good room for the money.

The room was comfortable enough but was not super clean or well-maintained. House keeping had left dirty, wet washcloths hanging on the curtain rod. Gross! Several hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor. Again, not very clean.

My stay at La Quinta was very pleasant. I did not have to drive far to find somewhere to eat; however, I have to admit, the continental breakfast was not that desirable. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and the staff was nice. I woul definitely recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable. We always enjoy the breakfasts at La Quinta!!! That's one of the reasons we like to stay at your rooms. We also love the pillow-top beds. They are usually much more comfortable than most of the competition. Thank you!

My stay at this LaQuinta was very friendly and pleasant!!! The staff greeted me and my family with open arms! They also went above and beyond to make us feel at home!!! The location was very convenient to all restuarants and stores!!! Yes I will return and recommend to others.

Asked for a non-smoking room because my infant twins have asthma...the room smelled like smoke and the bathroom was so filthy...dirty tub with pubic hair in it. So very gross.

Outstanding check in and out folks.

No TV remote, so no TV watching, dirty carpets, screaming and yelling and life threaetning by a person pounding on the neighbor's door! Must have been sailors with that mouth! Not sure the enterprise going on, but quite unusual to be needing "my money" so late at night! I joke, but it was actually quite terrifying as to what could happen next. Couldn't get the phone to work to call the desk, finally just had to pack up and leave the room. Horrible experience. On the psotiive side, good waffles for breakfast and the staff was friendly and courteous throughout.

We arrived early by approx 2 hours, and the lady @ the front desk was very accomodating and put us right into a room. The hotel was quiet despite being near a main busy road. Close to all kinds of restaurants and also to the Von Braun Center. The housekeepers were all very nice and always asked if we needed anything at all. The room was very comfortable and clean. Would stay there again!

The overall hotel seemed fine for the money and breakfast is nicely organized and plentiful. But when I arrived late to my non-smoking room, it reeked of cigarettes. The next morning, I found a pile of ashes on the room phone and behind the night stand. I requested that it be cleaned up, leaving the night stand out to make it obvious. The stand was returned to its position when I came back the second evening, but the ashes were still there. Add to that a carpet that felt dirty enough that I would not walk on it barefoot and I would not come back to this place. La Quinta - get your house cleaning up to par, and even charge your guests that smoke in non-smoking rooms, or your efforts elsewhere are for naught.

The hotel was conveniently located to the downtown area and all the attractions within the Huntsville area.. The street in which the hotel was located had all various food eatery that a person could want... The hotel itself was cleaned daily but not spotless...During one night stay the guests in the hotel were extremely loud and I thought it took way too long for them to quiet them down... I called the desk numerous times and never did get an answer so I ended up calling the 800 number and they had to resolve my problem.. The drapes in the room did not have the means to be darken so you could actually see in my room... that was not good at all as I had to use safety pins to close the drapes...This may have been resolved by the hotel but I didn't have time to complain, I was on a tight schedule... Overall I enjoyed my stay..

the bath towels are way too small. other then that very nice for the price. the location is very convenient.

I do not like outside rooms in hotels because of safty reasons.The manager put in a room close to the office.later on that night the airconditioner stopped working and I was giver a suite.I would recomend this hotel to friends.

Very affordable and convenient and easy to find location (University Dr); however, shower/tub ceiling is low for some one tall (6' 6" or taller), no ceiling fan in bathroom area (only vent). Also, top corner wall of shower was not clean.

bed covers and pillows reeked of cigarette smoke. surely they have heard of fabreeze.

The "deal" I got on this hotel wasn't worth what was paid for it. Would not recommend it to anyone. Will stay somewhere different next time.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff had left the air conditioning on high everyday so the room was a bit chilly for a while after we came back to our room after our outing. The pool area was nice but there were big chunks of something black floating in the pool and covering part of the bottom of the pool. The pool should be cleaned everhday and it didn't appear that it was a pority for the staff. With the hot weather this summer the pool was a necessity, The room was quiet and comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel in the past and plan to stay again when we are in town.

Reasonabley priced close to space center neighborhood ok. Room was clean. Very quiet surroundings. Good waffles at breakfast. Not bad

Ok the hotel rooms themselves are not bad. But the drugs and alcohol in the pool area were horrible. It's terrible that we paid good money and couldn't use the pool because of the people smoking weed in the pool area. I did tell the desk clerk twice and he walked through and told them to get rid of the beer bottles. REALLY!!! I had reservations for the next weekend also but changed them to entirely different hotel as to not be around that again.

The location worked but the hotel was not up to quality of my other experiences at La Qunita. It was old and somewhat run down. I would not stay there again.

Easy enough to find and plenty of restaurants along strip of road it is on. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The only real problem I had with the room was that the handle on the toilet tank was loose, just needed to have the plastic nut tightened which I did myself. It is something easy to miss and fixed if myself faster than I could have contacted the front desk (let alone wait until someone came up to do it). Thought it was a good value for the cost and what I was expecting.

Very nice clean and well maintained hotel. Continental breakfast was very good.

Motel was easily accessible to the convention center, has quiet environment and is close to good restaurants.

I was dissappointed. No closing curtains. only see through sheers. Not great for sleeping. A/C worked very poorly. Set on 65 and quite sure it never got under 74 or 75 degrees. . The room was clean and neat however. I think hotels.com should be more concerned than it appears they are on occasion about what they're providing for good customers.

Room 207 had sink faucet issues could not turn off and the installation was loose.

I was in Huntsville for my son's orientation at Alabama A&M University and was please with location and quality of hotel. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. My only problem was I prefer hotels with interior rooms because I am a single female traveling alone. Great value, clean room, and wonderful staff.

Stayed at the LQ, Clean Swimming Pool, Wonderful, Friendly, Accomodating Staff, always willing to help. My Stay by far Exceeded my expectations. The Location? Matter of Perspective. Thanks for allowing me to leave with the impression, I Have Friends in Alabama!

OVERALL VERY GOOD, BREAKFAST A LITTLE LACKING , BUT OK. NO COMPUTER PRINTER ACCESS FOR GUESTS. THE FIRST LA QUINTA BACK UP THE SAME BLVD HAS SETUP IN THE LOBBY.

This hotel was decent, the room was not to bad. The decor was pleasant and the bed/pillows were clean. The only complaint I had was that it did not have a fridge or microwave.

Room was dirty, very small. Had to change rooms times to get one that did not have something broken or smell.
