La Quinta Inn San Bernardino - سان برناردينو

We were in Cali to welcome home our son from his Afghanistan deployment. The staff was extremely helpful no matter what our requests. My husband is prescribed insulin so they brought a refrigerator into our room. Not being from Cali, we needed directions and they were helpful in getting us to and from our many destinations. Also, with construction on the highways we couldn't return as directed so with a phone call to the front desk we quickly made it. The only issue we noticed is the room needed serious vacuuming around the edges.

the best part of this stay was the beds!!!! so comfy!!!! will definetly stay here again... Only suck part no TV's in the rooms but other than that its great!!!!

I was in town for a funeral but I expect to always stay away from roach motels and unclean places. I was very happy and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good. There was hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, coffee, juice etc. Just what I needed. The area is decent. I highly recommend if you need a place to stay at a reasonable price.

Our room was not cleaned very well. The table had crusty stuff all over the top. The bathroom ceiling and walls had black mold. The grout in the bathroom was black in high traffic areas and white near the walls. It had obviously not been mopped in quite some time.

I definitely recommend this hotel.The staff was great. We were traveling with a 2yr old and they upgraded us to a room with a fridge and microwave because we needed those. The location is right next to an interstate but we did not hear the traffic at all. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, service staff was great. However, the bed sheets were old and had small holes, some were almost yellow with age and looked dirty. I asked the front desk to change them immediately (which they did) but the new ones were as bad so I am guessing that hotel does not want to invest in new stuff. Location is good. There are lots of restaurants around the place including big chains. This hotel allows pets so there were lots of dogs barking early in the morning but having traveled from east coast we would be up very early so it did not bother us. One thing though, some of the patrons looked very shady and there was this one guy who stood in the balcony and smoked all day (at least whenever we saw him during the day). Bothered me a little bit might might not bother you.

Quiet property, clean rooms, moderate rates, doesn't participate in special deals or clubs. in close proximity to Loma Linda University/Hospital for those who have friends/relatives there. Property is close to both I-10 and the I-15. Our stay was one night and we considered it a good value. Property is not the Hilton but neither are the rack rates.

The hotel fulfilled my needs. The room was neat and clean and close to where I needed to be. I will use this facility again when I am in town.

A very reasonable hotel for the price. Hotel staff was courteous. No frills, but for the price, wasn't expecting any, nor did I really want any. A clean comfortable room was all I expected, and my expectations were met.

The hotel was fine for what we paid. We had a room facing the interstate, which was very noisy at night. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Went there for the escape from Wonderland event and paid a nice price for two beds for four of us. No issues and slept well.

The room was nothing what I expected it to be. The pictures do not do it any justice. It was actually quite nice and cozy with a flat screen tv. I was out here for the big rave going on at the NOS Event Center. The hotel is in a good location. Its near the freeway, gas stations, and plenty of places to eat nearby. And if you forgot anything for your trip, Target is only a mile or so away! We were only in the room to pretty much sleep and get ready, but I can't complain. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and you can't complain for the price. I would definitely stay here again. It's also less then 2 miles away from the NOS Event Center. Only downside was that the taxi drivers took advantage of the situtation / event and charged $20 to drive 1.68 miles! They turned their meters off and just charged a flat rate so that they could pocket some of the money themselves. So beware if you ever stay out here for a big event!

Some of the Front desk staff have no idea how to handle small problems. Basically they forced us to rent another room instead a super quick fix on our reservation. And after I spend a whole hour on fixing the very simple problem I called to confirm the change and she said "oh yeah I fixed it already the problem!" Absolutely the most unhelpful person ever!

The hotel was nice looking and clean. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was quite a bit of noise from the freeway but with the a/c on it didn't bother us. Breakfast was cereal, bagels, juice coffee, just enough for what we needed and there were plenty of tables.

The room has papers from the other guest on the table, and pool was closed, no refrigerator on rooms, and the iron didn't work properly. The good thinks: the beds where very confy, and the location of the hotel is great, there many good places to eat nearby.

I love the fact that La Quinta allows dogs at their properties. The hotel was in good condition and great location right off the I-10. Continental breakfast was ok, didn't expect alot, so was a nice surprise. Just pay attention to your surroundings while unloading car at night: some shady looking people (don't think they were guests) in their parking lot watching.

Close enough to walk to the NOS Event Center so we didn't have to take a cab!

Upon Arrival the desk clerk was on the phone and talking to other people while i waited for my room, did not seem to be interested in a guest trying to register. The room was very small, nothing like what we had experienced during prior stays.

Room rate was great, free breakfast was ok-you get what you pay for. Plumbing was a little sluggish. Noisy due to nearby freeway & railroad, however, no noise from adjoining rooms. Everything worked & was clean. Bed comfy. Commercial area.

I requested a non smoking room and was met with a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. Not only that but our room was on the back side of the La Quinta right by a major freeway. So we got to spend the night listening to the constant flow of LA traffic. To top it all off our toilet continuously made noise throughout the night, and was very annoying. This was definately one of my worst experiences at a hotel.

A few blocks away from the 215 and I10 great location Fast in and out .A+

Very NIce Room was good size, clean, not to far from my Families home where I was going to visit. Also nice location near lot's of resturaunts.

This is an old @$$ hotel that need MAJOR renovations. I would spring for the extra money and stay at the Hilton next door. The place needs to be gutted out and redone. It's at least 40 years old. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. You could see the cigarette burns on the tub, sink, and other places around the room.

I give it a five star , the room was large comfortable,clean. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. I would diffentley stay again with a question.

First time that we have full size beds in a room for four, it was a little uncomfortable.

To start of for the cost and late minute arrangement it was great. Room was comfortable, not dirty. T.V., Microwave, and Refrigerator which were all great. Dont turn Fridge up to high or it will freeze everything except your alcohol. Breakfast was great for what you pay and expect...I suggest a banana inbetween 2 waffles. The water was very hot if wanted, little bit of a water leak behind toilet nothing big, they provide you with towels anyway. Also seemed as if only one employee spoke english, but she was extremelly helpful and made sure we got everything we asked for.

The room was cleaner than I thought it would be, walls nice and clean. The only thing that went wrong is the toilet would only flush after about 4 flushes. The reason we went there in the first place is we were going to Loma Linda Hospital the next day - and it was critical that the toilet be working properly. It wasn't. When I called the Front Desk, they told me Maintenance was gone for the day. When I called again, I asked for them to bring a Plunger, which they did. It was not new. But we had to use it over and over during the evening and night. That was miserable. The breakfast in the morning was good. It was a nice plact to stay, for the money, except for the Maintenance issues. They need to have a person on call 24 hours.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool guy gave my daughter some pool toys (noodles) to play with while we were there. Even though we were right above the pool, it was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
